It usually affects cervicofacial, thoracic and abdominal tissue. Cervicofacial type has the highest percentage of occurrence with 50%. Actinomycosis frequently occurs following dental extraction, jaw surgery, chronic infection or poor oral hygiene. It may also be considered as an opportunistic infection in immunocompromised patients such as malignancy, human immunodeficiency virus infection, diabetes mellitus, steroid usage or alcoholism. But, actinomycosis rarely occurs in adults with normal immunity and rare in the esophagus. We report an unusual case of esophageal actinomycosis which was developed in a patient with normal immunity and improved by therapy with intravenous penicillin G followed oral amoxicillin, and we also reviewed the associated literature.

Indium tin oxide (ITO) films were prepared using radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering method, magnets were equipped near the target in the sputter to bring the plasma near the target. The effect of magnetic field that brings the plasma near the substrate was compared with that of substrate heating. The effect of substrate heating on the grain size of the ITO thin film was larger than that of the magnetic field. However, the grain size of the ITO thin film was larger when the magnetic field was applied near the substrate during the sputtering process than when the substrate was not heated and the magnetic field was not applied. If stronger magnetic field is applied near the substrate during sputtering, it can be expected that the ITO thin film with good electrical conductivity and high transparency is obtained at low substrate temperature. When magnetic field of 90 Gauss was applied near the substrate during sputtering, the mobility of the ITO thin film increased from 15.2 $cm^2/V.s$ to 23.3 $cm^2/V.s$, whereas the sheet resistivity decreased from 7.68 ${\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ to 5.11 ${\Omega}{\cdot}cm$.

목적 :본 연구는 collagenase로 유도된 흰쥐의 골관절염 모델에서 진범약침자극이 흰쥐 dorsolateral periaqueductal gray (DL-PAG)에서 NOS 및 nNOS 발현에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 방법 : 흰쥐의 관절강내로 collagenase 용액을 주사하여 골관절염 모델을 만들고 정상군, 대조군 및 진범약침군으로 실험군을 분류한 후, nNOS(neuronal NOS)와 NOS에 대하여 미치는 영향을 nNOS immunohistochemistry와 nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate-diaphorase(NADPH-d) 검사법을 통하여 조사하였다. 결과 : 골관절염이 유발된 흰쥐의 DL-PAG 영역에서 nNOS와 NOS의 발현억제가 관찰되었으며, 진범약침군이 collagenase로 유도된 골관절염에서 감소된 nNOS와 NOS의 발현이 증가되었다. 결론 : 본 연구를 통하여 진범약침자극은 골관절염이 유발된 흰쥐의 DL-PAG에서의 nNOS와 NOS의발현에 영향을 미친다는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

수중음향채널에서 시변 다중경로 전달특성에 의해 발생하는 시변 인접심볼간 간섭을 완화할 수 있는 방법으로 선형 등화와 결정궤환 등화 기법을 사용할 수 있다. 그러나 선형 등화 기법은 간섭성분을 완벽하게 제거하지 못하는 단점이 있고, 결정궤환 등화기는 검출 오류 발생 시 오류 전파가 발생하는 문제를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 훈련 시퀀스를 이용하여 등화 모드를 선택하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 훈련시퀀스로부터 산출된 신호 대 잡음비에 따라 등화기법을 선택하여 동작시키는 방법으로 낮은 SNR일 때에는 선형 등화 기법이 적용하여 오류전파를 줄이고, 높은 SNR일 때에는 결정궤환 등화 기법을 적용하여 간섭성분을 제거함으로써 하나의 등화기법을 사용하는 경우보다 오류 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다. 해상실험을 통해 얻은 채널 응답을 이용하여 전산모의실험을 수행한 결과 제안된 기법이 효과적으로 오류 성능이 개선됨을 보였다. The linear and decision-feedback equalization can mitigate time-varying intersymbol interference (ISI) caused by time-varying multipath propagation for underwater acoustic channels. The perfect elimination of interference components, however, is difficult using the linear equalization and the decision feedback equalizer has an error propagation problem. To overcome these shortcomings, this paper proposes an equalizer mode selection method using training sequences. The proposed method selects an equalization mode corresponding to the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). If the SNR is low, the proposed system operates the linear equalizer for preventing the error propagation and if the SNR is high, the decision feedback equalizer for eliminating the residual ISI. Therefore, the proposed method can improve the error performance compared to the conventional equalizers. The computer simulation shows the proposed method improves the bit error performance using practical underwater channels responses acquired from the sea experiment.

Urethane acrylate oligomer was synthesized and used in a gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) and then its electrochemical performances were evaluated. $LiCoO_2/GPE/graphite$ cells were prepared and their performances depending on discharge currents and temperatures were evaluated. The precursor containing $5 vol\%$ curable mixture had a low viscosity relatively. ionic conductivity of the gel polymer electrolyte at room temperature and $-20^{\circ}C$ was ca. $5.9\times10^{-3}S{\cdot}cm^{-1}\;and\;1.4times10^{-3}S{\cdot}cm^{-1}$, respectively. GPE showed good electrochemical stability up to potential of 4.5V vs. RLi/Li^+.\;LiCoO_2/GPE/graphite$ cell showed a good high-rate and low-temperature performance.

A poly[bis(4-butypheny)-bis(phenyl)benzidine] (poly-TPD) and poly(9-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) bilayer was employed as a hole transport layer (HTL) in solution-processed CdSe/ZnS quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs). The thickness of the PVK layer spin-coated onto the poly-TPD layer, whose thickness was fixed to 40 nm, was varied, with PVK layer thicknesses of 0 nm, 35 nm, 45 nm, and 55 nm. Because the thickness of the PVK can determine the hole transport properties of the HTL, a PVK thickness that maximizes the performance of the HTL for the QLEDs was investigated. By employing the optimized PVK thickness of 45 nm, the current efficiency of the QLED exhibited a 1.74 times improvement when compared with that of the QLED with poly-TPD based HTL without PVK. This was mainly attributed to the decrease in the energy barrier between the HTL and the quantum dot (QD) emitting layer (EML).
동해 연근해에서 수중통신 채널의 지배응답 검출을 통한 시간 상관도의 산출

In this paper, we propose a method that estimates the channel response from underwater communication signals with MMSE (Minimun Mean Squared Error) and detects dominant components automatically based on power of response components using CFAR (Constant False Alarm Rate). Statistical characteristics are analyzed with variation of magnitude and phase and time coherence via experimental data obtained by drifting transmitter and receiver. We show that bit error rate has small difference, 1.2 times, compared with the case using every channel information estimated within data period when estimation and equalization is performed with extracted characteristic obtained by the proposed method. 본 논문에서는 전송된 수중통신신호로부터 MMSE(Minimun Mean Squared Error) 기법으로 채널 응답을 추정하고, CFAR(Constant False Alarm Rate) 기법을 이용하여 응답성분의 전력을 기준으로 채널의 지배적인 응답을 자동적으로 구하는 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 표류상태의 송수신단을 이용한 해상실험 데이터로부터 얻은 지배적인 응답에서 응답세기 분포와 위상 변화 그리고 시간 상관도를 산출하여 통계적 특성을 분석한다. 제안된 방법을 이용하여 구해진 통계적 특성을 실제 측정 데이터에 적용했을 때 모든 데이터 구간에서의 채널을 추정하지 않더라도 모든 데이터 구간에서의 채널을 추정하는 경우보다 비트 오류율이 약 1.2배로 차이가 크지 않음을 보였다.

In this study, the hot forging technology for precision forming of spline teeth of the inner race in the auto-transmission was developed in order to minimize its finishing allowance. Several blocker and finisher shapes for the precision hot forging process of the inner race were proposed and the forging processes were analyzed using the three-dimensional finite element method. The optimum hot forging process was obtained considering some parameters such as metal flow patterns, forging defects and forming load. Blocker and finisher dies for the hot forging process were designed by selecting the most suitable shapes obtained from the finite element analysis. Experimental works were also performed in order to verify the optimum design of hot forging process.

In this study, the $LiCoO_2/LiNi_{1/3}Mn_{1/3}Co_{1/3}O_2$ mixed cathode electrodes were prepared and their electrochemical performances were measured in a high cut-off voltage. As the content of $LiNi_{1/3}Mn_{1/3}Co_{1/3}O_2$ increased in a mixed cathode, the reversible specific capacity and cycleability of the electrode enhanced, but the rate capability was deteriorated. On the contrary the rate capability of the cathode enhanced, but the reversible specific capacity and cycleability were deteriorated, increasing the content of $LiCoO_2$ in the mixed cathode. The cell of $LiCoO_2/LiNi_{1/3}Mn_{1/3}Co_{1/3}O_2$ ($50:50 wt\%$) mixed cathode delivered a discharge capacity of ca. 168 mAh/g at a 0.2 C rate. The capacity of the cell decreased with the current rate and a useful capacity of ca. 152 mAh/g was obtained at a 2.0 C rate. However, the cell showed very stable cycleability: the discharge capacity of the cell after 20th charge/discharge cycling maintains ca. 163 mAh/g.
