        홍천산 모나자이트의 가성소다 분해 및 침출

        본 연구에서는 국내 홍천산 모나자이트 정광의 가성소다 분해 및 분해산물의 염산 침출에 대한 처리조건을 확립하고자 하였다. 분해 반응의 조건은 입자크기의 -200 mesh 이하이면 적절하였고, 반응온도 $460^{\circ}C$부근에서 원활한 분해가 이루어 졌으며, 가성소다 첨가량은 NaOH/TREO mole ratio 6정도가 효과적이다. 또한 침출반응의 조건은 염산농도 8N 및 반응온도 $80^{\circ}C$이상이 침출에 적절하였으며, 반응시간 2시간 및 광액 농도 10%가 효과적이다. 그리고 최적조건하에서 모나자이트의 분해 침출율은 90%이상이였고, 부산물 형태로 인산소다 화합물은 효과적으로 회수하였으며, 희토류 원소별 분리에 적합한 시료용액을 조제하였다. In this study, treatment conditions for monazite concentrate in Hong-Cheon area deposit were studied with NaOH fritting decomposition and HCl leaching experiments. At condition of NaOH fritting decomposition, it was appropriate to adopt particle size of -200 mesh monazite, reaction temperature of about $460^{\circ}C$ and NaOH/TREO mole ratio of 6. In case of HCl leaching for decomposed product, it was appropriate to use hydrochloric acid of above 8N with leaching temperature of above $80^{\circ}C$, leaching time of 2 hrs and pulp density of about 10%. A rate of decomposition and leaching for monazite was above 90% under optimum conditions. Sodium phosphate compound was effectively recovered from NaOH decomposed solution, and mixed rare earth chloride solution was prepared with HCl leaching of decomposed product.

        호주산 저품위 동광의 부유선별에 관한 특성조사

        본 연구의 목적은 호주산 저품위 동광을 부유선별하여 정광으로 회수하고자 할 때, 최적의 부유선별 조건을 얻고자 하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 저품위 동광의 파분쇄 및 분급에 의해 선별에 적절한 입자크기의 시료를 얻은 다음, 이를 대상으로 부유선별 시 포수제, 활성제, 억제제의 첨가량 및 광액의 pH 변화가 부선효율에 미치는 영향을 조사함으로써 품위가 향상된 정광을 얻고자 하였다. 본 연구실험결과 얻은 최적의 부유선별 조건은 광액산도 pH9.0, 활성제 500 g/t $CuSO_4{\cdot}5H_2O$, 포수제 500 g/t K.E.X, 억제제 1500 g/t $Na_2SO_3$, 광액농도는 25 wt.% 이었다. 최적조건하에서 얻은 정광중의 동 품위 및 회수율은 각각 4 wt.%와 65 wt.% 정도이었고 대부분 철 성분을 함유한 광물 이었다. The purpose of this study is to obtain an optimum condition of the concentrate by floatation using Australian low grade copper ore of suitable particle size by crushing, grinding and sizing. The effect of the dosage of collector, activator, depressant and change of acidity on the floatation was investigated. The floatation conditions comprising of pH 9.0 acidity, 500g/t $CuSO_4{\cdot}5H_2O$ activator, 500g/t K.E.X. collector, 1500g/t $Na_2SO_3$ depressant and 25wt.% plup density were optimized. Grade and recovery of copper in the concentrate obtained by froth floatation under optimum conditions were 4wt.% and 65wt.% respectively.

        쿠싱병에 대한 경접형동접근법의 내분비학적 결과

        Objective : We analyzed the clinical and endocrinological results of the transsphenoidal microsurgery for ACTH secreting pituitary adenomas. Marerials and Methods : From October 1995 to August 2000, 18 patients underwent transsphenoidal microsurgery for Cushing's disease. We analyzed the surgical results of 17 patients, one patient who was previously operated from other hospital was excluded. Age of the patients were 18 to 61 years old(mean 37.7), male to female ratio was 1 : 3.3, and follow-up period was 3 to 50 months(mean 20.3). The selection of candidates for transsphenoidal exploration was based on endocrinologic criteria. Magnetic resonance imaging was the preferred radiologic test. Selective inferior petrosal sinus sampling of adrenocorticotropic hormone futher refined the diagnosis when endocrinologic and radiologic procedures were not definitive. Results : Results of the preoperative endocrinological test were : level of serum ACTH 29.4 to $225{\mu}g/dL$(mean $93.88{\mu}g/dL$) ; serum cortisol 11.9 to $47.5{\mu}g/dL$(mean $27.49{\mu}g/dL$) ; 24-hour urine free cortisol 235 to $1019{\mu}g/day$(mean $571.0{\mu}g/day$). Inferior petrosal sinus sampling for ACTH was performed in 11 patients and all were confirmed by Cushing's disease and we could predict the laterality of the tumor in 9 of 11 patients. We performed transsphenoidal selective adenomectomy in 5 patients, adenomectomy and subtotal hypophysectomy in 2 patients, adenomectomy and partial hypophysectomy in 9 patients, and in the remaining one patient, hemihypophysectomy followed by total hypophysectomy due to remission failure. Fifteen of 17 patients(88.2%) showed endocrinological remission. Glucocorticoid replacement therapy was performed in all the patients who showed remission for 1 to 24 months(mean 5.9 months), and 6 patients received steroid over 6 months. Conclusion : We conclude that the direct demonstration of a tumor in the pituitary gland by MRI is the most important and definitive diagnostic tool and the location of a mass should be confirmed with increased level of ACTH by the inferior petrosal sinus sampling. Transsphenoidal microsurgery is effective treatment modality for Cushing's disease and the immediate postoperative evaluation of the surgical resection of the tumor is very important. The patients should show hypocortisolism, decreased, subnormal serum ACTH and cortisol levels and 24-hours urine free cortisol. We performed 18 transsphenoidal microsurgery for Cushing's disease in 17 patients and 15 patients(88.2%) showed endocrinological remission.

        Ilmenite의 炭素還元에 의한 $TiO_2$ 品位 向上 硏究

        본 연구는 탄소 환원반응을 이용하여 ilmenite 중 $TiO_2$의 품위 향상을 목적으로 ilmenite 중에 존재하는 철산화물의 탄소환원에 가장 효과적인 첨가물과 최적조건을 검토하였다. Ilmenite 중 철산화물의 환원에 가장 적절한 환원제의 종류 및 첨가량은 $FeCl_3$로서 ilmenite 시료무게의 2 wt.%이었고, 또한 최적의 탄소환원제 양은 당량비로 2배였다. 그리고 적절한 환원온도 및 시간은 $1100^{\circ}C$ 부근으로서 대부분 철산화물의 환원반응이 종료되는 30분 정도로 조사되었다. 이와 같은 조건하에서 얻어진 환원반응 생성물은 자력선별 공정을 거치면 rutile의 대체 자원으로 사용이 가능함을 확인하였다. It has been carried our for establishing the methodology to upgrade $TiO_2$ by carbothermal reduction of iron oxide in ilmenite. Based on present experimental results, the possibility for substitution with rutile has been investigated. It could by proposed that the 2 wt.% $FeCl_3$ of sample and carbon of 2 equivalents are optimum conditions as a feeding materials. And also appropriate reducing temperature and reduction time were about $1100^{\circ}C$ and 30 minutes. The product obtained by the processes of carbon reduction and magnetic separation may be used the substitute mineral of rutile.

        We have studied to apply of a quantity of SBR contained high and domestic tire cord on manufacture tire. The Physical test of compounds and products, the travelling test of manufactured tires last year had revealed a good results. 1. The physical properties indicated better values than those found in the requirments of military specification. 2. Adhesion of carcass ply cord showed a good results. 3. The physical properties between 1260 d/2 nylon cord and 840d/2 nylon cord of domestic products be showed similar values and its have a results by 2-3 times than standards.

        The physical properties of NR-SBR and NR-BR blends were studied. 1. In blending, tensile strength decreased with increase in synthetic rubber contents. It was most effective when the ratio of NR/Syn. R is 75/25. 2. Tensile strength decreased with order of NR, SBR and BR and modulus after aging is proportional of synthetic rubber contents. 3. Elongation is less influenced by synthetic rubber ratio that on the other hand, the decrease of elongation is proportional to synthetic rubber contents after aging. 4. Hardness decreased with increase in the synthetic rubber contents and on the other hand, the hardness increased after aging.

        건설시설물 친환경VE 의사 판단 모델 NIA 제안

        우리나라 경제성장의 핵심 원동력이었던 건설업은 오늘날 환경부하량 배출이 가장 많은 산업으로 류되고 있다. 이에 건설업은 친환경을 실현하고자 많은 노력을 기울였지만 그 효과는 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구는 사업 초기단계에서 친환경 VE가 적용이 가능하면 건설업의 친환경 효과가 클 것이라 판단되기에 발주자의 친환경 VE 의사를 파악 할 수 있는 NIA 모델을 개발 후 시뮬레이션 하였다. 경북북부권 환경에너지 종합타운 조성 민간사업의 제안 보고서를 기반으로 친환경 VE 의사를 묻는 20문항을 시뮬레이션 한 결과 50%의 친환경 의사가 있음을 도출 할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 친환경 VE 의사를 도출하기 위하여 설문조사를 한 후 NIA를 활용하여 건설 초기단계에서 친환경적인 설계를 위한 의사결정시 판단자료로 제공 될 수 있을 것이다. Construction industry that was the core driving force of Korean economic growth is now being classified as an industry with the largest environmental load emission. Although various efforts were made accordingly to realize eco-friendliness, its effects is insufficient currently. Based on the understanding that eco effect of construction industry would be significant if Eco VE is applicable in the initial project stage, NIA model for understanding the eco VE decision of project owner was developed with simulations in this paper. Based on the proposal report of a private project to develop the Gyeongbuk Northern Region Environmental Energy Town, 20 questions on eco VE decision were used through simulations. The result showed 50% eco-friendly decision. The result of this study can be used to provide decision-making data for eco design in the initial stage of construction by utilizing NIA upon conducting survey research to deduce eco VE decision.

        교통사고 후 요통을 호소하는 환자에 대한 약침과 추나의 치료효과 비교 연구

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of Pharmacopuncture Treatment with Chuna Treatments for Low Back Pain caused by Traffic accidents. Methods : This study was carried out on 81 patients with low back pain caused by Traffic accidents. The patients were divided into 2 group ; The pharmacopuncture(A) group was treated by pharmacopuncture treatment. The chuna(B) group was treated by chuna treatment. We measured Oswestry Disability Index(ODI) and Visual Analog Scale(VAS) on the patients before the treatment and on the 2nd, and 4th weeks after the treatments. Results : After being treated by our methods, the ODI and VAS score's were improved after the 4th weeks treatment in both groups. There is no significant difference on ODI and VAS score after the 4th weeks treatment in both groups. In the early stages(from pre to 2 weeks worth of treatment), Group A showed a decreasing VAS score compared to Group B. In the final stages(from 2 weeks to 4 weeks worth of treatment), Group B showed a higher decreasing amount compared to Group A in VAS score. Conclusions : The results suggest that both pharmacopuncture treatment and chuna treatment is considered to be effective and useful on low back pain caused by traffic accidents. There is no significant difference between pharmacopuncture treatment and chuna treatment for low back pain caused by traffic accidents, however the early stages of treatments(from pre to 2 weeks treatement) show that pharmocopouncture treatment is more effective than chuna treatment for low back pain by traffic accidents. In the final stages(from 2 weeks to 4 weeks treatment), chuna treatment is more effective than pharmacopuncture treatment for low back pain by traffic accident.

        선박추진기용 로프절단장치의 구조 안정성 및 효용성에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 상용화된 로프절단장치 타입 중 국내에 가장 많이 도입되어있는 Scissor type을 대상으로 유한요소해석을 수행하여 다양한 로프 걸림 상황에서 안정성이 확보되는 적합한 구조 형태를 평가하였으며, 수조 실험 및 실선 실험을 통해 효용성을 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 로프 걸림에 의하여 프로펠러축이 회전하지 않을 경우 엔진에서 발생하는 지속적인 토크로 인하여 로프절단장치에 비틀림이 발생하고 유한요소 해석상 자유도가 구속되어 있지 않은 하부의 블레이드에서 가장 높은 변형이 발생하는 것을 확인하였다. 블레이드의 두께가 증가할수록 최대변형량은 줄어들고 최대응력은 낮아져 안전율이 증가하는 결과가 나타났으며, 동일한 블레이드 두께에서 토크의 변화량이 최대응력과 최대변형량에 미치는 영향은 로프절단장치의 외력이 미치는 위치와 무관하며 정비례하게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 해석 결과를 토대로 실시한 수조실험 및 실선실험 결과, 모든 조건과 환경에서 로프 및 어망이 원활하게 제거되는 것을 확인하였다. The scissor-type rope cutter is the most widely used amongst all kinds of commercially available rope cutters in Korea. In this study, we performed finite element analysis on the scissor-type rope cutter. We determined the structure of the cutter that would ensure its stable operation in various situations involving rope entanglement, and verified its effectiveness by testing it in the lab and in an actual ship. These investigations revealed that when the propeller shaft was not rotated by rope entanglement, the constant torque generated by the engine resulted in the torsion of the rope cutter and maximum deformation in the lower blade, which was not restricted by finite element analysis. With increasing blade thickness, the maximum values of deformation and equivalent stress decreased, resulting in a rise in the safety factor. At the constant blade thickness, the effect of the torque variations on the maximum equivalent stress and the maximum deformation is independent of the position of the external force of the rope cutter and decreases in direct proportion. The results of this study confirmed that the rope-cutter structure determined by analysis could lead to a hassle-free removal of ropes and fishing nets under all conditions and environments.
