This study investigates the corrosion characteristics of prestressing strands and reinforcing bars using mold specimens. These components such as prestressing strands and reinforcing bars are critical for the durability and structural safety of prestressed and reinforced concrete structures, as they bear loads in tensile regions. Prestressing strands, which are constantly under high tensile stress, are particularly susceptible to corrosion. The presence of poorly compacted grout or the infiltration of de-icing agents from an upper girder can accelerate corrosion in these strands, potentially leading to their failure and significantly compromising structural safety. The extent of corrosion in the prestressing strands and reinforcing bars was quantitatively evaluated based on the charge transmitted through a specified circuit over a specified period, following Faraday's law. The methodology proposed in this study offers an accurate assessment of the corrosion characteristics observed in the prestressing strands and reinforcing bars. This study provided predictions of corrosion amount and depth for both types of reinforcements, depending on variations in the accelerated corrosion experiments. These findings are expected to aid in modeling corrosion in full-sized specimens, setting environmental parameters, and forecasting corrosion rates relative to the service life of the structures

This study presents an analytical technique for understanding the seismic behavior and evaluating the seismic performance of hollow RC bridge piers deteriorated by aging and other factors. Deterioration caused by de-icing agents and carbonation has reduced the lifespan of bridge structures, thus necessitating frequent maintenance and increasing economic and social costs. A validated nonlinear finite element analysis program RCAHEST (Reinforced Concrete Analysis in Higher Evaluation System Technology) was enhanced with a deterioration model and an extended damage index that incorporates elongation reduction in reinforcing bars. The modified nonlinear material model accounts for the reduction of cross-sectional area of reinforcement and the change of bond strength at the concrete-to-steel interface caused by corrosion. Extended damage indices considering elongation reduction of reinforcing bars aim to provide a means of quantifying numerically the damage in deteriorated hollow RC bridge piers under earthquake loading. This approach allowed for a reliable parametric study of deteriorated hollow RC bridge piers, resulting in accurate predictions of performance degradation and the reversal phenomenon of the damage index due to drift ratios. The proposed nonlinear analysis method was validated to properly account for key design variables, including corrosion level, yield strength and ultimate strength of the reinforcing bars, and compressive strength of the concrete. Additionally, the newly extended damage index, which incorporates both the deterioration model and elongation reduction in reinforcing bars affecting behavior, effectively evaluates seismic performance.

정보시스템은 다양한 구성요소들을 포함하고 있으며, 이들 구성요소들은 몇 개의 유형으로 구분될 수 있다. 보안수준관리활동을 준비 할 때, 관리활동의 대상을 정의하는 것이 가장 중요하며, 이들 대상을 정의한 이후 보안수준 관리활동이 시작될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 정보시스템을 몇 개의 부분으로 나눔으로써 관리대상을 정의하고, 이들 대상은 운영 환경과 특성에 따라 다양하게 관리될 수 있음을 보여준다. Information system contains various components, and these components can be categorized into some types. When preparing security level management activity, it is most important to define the target of management activity. And after deciding these targets, security level management activity can be started. This paper defines management targets by dividing information system into some parts, and shows these targets can be managed variously according to operation environments and characteristics.
