      • 돼지 신장세포(PK15)의 이종이식 거부반응에 대한 재조합 IL-18의 영향

        Various cytokines including IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-10, IL-12p40, IFN-γ, and TNF-α have been recently reported to play important roles in both host and donor cell activations during xenotransplantation. Interleukin (IL)-18, a proinflammatory cytokine, can induce IL-4 and IL-13 production in T cells, NK cells, B cells, mast cells, and basophils. IL-18 has the capacity to stimulate innate immunity and both Th1-and Th2- mediated responses, but little is known to involve in the xenograft rejection. In order to investigate the role of IL-18 in xenograft rejection, we transplanted the pig kidney (PK15) cells to C57BL/6 mouse with or without intraperitoneal injection of mouse recombinatant IL-18. It was analyzed the population of T cell, B cell and NK cell in the mice transplanted with PK 15 cells and recombinant IL-18 by flow cytometry. We found that splenic CD3+ T cells were increased in mice injected PK15 cells with recombinant IL-18. These results suggest that recombinant IL-18 is critical in the xenograft rejection by increasing T cell population of the recipients.

        지역사회 기혼 여성의 우울 증상에 영향을 미치는 변인 : 가족내 관계 만족 변인 및 갈등대처 방식을 중심으로

        연구목적 본 연구는 지역사회 기혼 여성의 우울 증상을 사회적이고 대인관계적 측면에서 이해하고자 하는 맥락에서 살펴보고자 하였다. 방법 00시에 거주하는 기혼여성 632명을 대상으로 하여 Beck 우울증 척도, 결혼 전반적 불만족 척도, 자녀불만족 척도, 갈등 대처 방안 척도 등을 실시하였다. 통계방법으로는 기술통계분석, 상관, χ²검증, 일원변량분석, 단계적 중다회귀분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 결과 학력, 수입, 부모의 관계, 학대경험, 시부모 관계만족, 결혼불만족, 자녀불만족, 이성적 대처, 감정 · 행동표출, 회피 행동에서 우울수준에 따른 집단간 차이가 유의미하였다. 또한 이들 변인 중 결혼불만족이 현재 우울증상에 대한 설명력이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났고, 다음으로 자녀불만족, 회피 행동, 시부모 관계만족 순이었다(총설명변량=36.1%). 갈등대처방식 중 이성적 대처와 회피가 가족관계 만족변인과 우울을 잠정적이지만 유의미하게 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 지역사회 기혼 여성의 상당수가 우울 증상을 경험하고 있어 이에 대한 치료적 개입이 시급하며 특히 부부 관계를 포함한 가족 관계에 대한 탐색 및 접근이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 갈등대처방식이 유의미하게 관계 만족과 우울을 매개하므로, 우울증의 치료에 있어 효과적인 갈등 대처 방식 및 사회적 문제 해결 기술을 포함시킴으로써 치료 효과를 높일 수 있을 것으로 시사된다. Objectives : The purposes of this study were to investigate depressive symptoms among married women and to their Understand depression through social and interpersonal factors. Methods : The subjects were consisted of 632 married women who lived in 00 city. They completed the Beck Depression Inventory, Marital Global Distress Scale, Dissatisfaction with Children Scale, and Conflict-coping Method Scale. Descriptive statistics, correlation, χ²-test, ANOVA, step-wise regression, and hierarchical regression were applied to analyze the data. Results : ANOVA analysis showed the differences in education, income, experience of abuse, parent-in-law relationship, marital global distress, dissatisfaction with children, rational coping, emotion/action-expression coping, and avoidant coping among the non-depressive group, mildly depressive group, and depressive group. Step-wise regression showed that the variance of the current depressive symptoms was accounted for by marital global distress, dissatisfaction with children, avoidance coping method, and satisfaction with parent-in-law (total account=36.1%). It was found that the rational coping method and avoidance coping method significantly mediated the relationship between the satisfaction with family relation and depressive symptoms. Conclusion : Therapeutic interventions for the married women experiencing depressive symptoms showed include their marital relationship. Based on the finding that the conflict coping methods mediated the association between the depressive symptoms and the family relation satisfaction, the effective conflict coping skills or social problem solving skills should be included in the interventions for married women.

        Short-rib polydactyly syndromes(SRPS) comprise a group of rare, generally lethal skeletal dysplasias. This group is manifested by short-limb short stature, short ribs with thorasic hypoplasia, and polydactyly. This heterogenous group of recessively inherited disorder has distinct imaging findings and ancillary findings on both pre-and postnatal assessments may enable individual cases to be classified into one of four subtypes : SRPS Ⅰ(Saldino-Noonan); SRPS Ⅱ (Majewski); SRPS Ⅲ (Verma-Naumoff); and SRPS Ⅳ (Beemer-Langer)1,2,3). All forms of the SRPS described to date are thought to be inherited in an autosomal recessive manner. There are difficulties in the clssification of these disorders because of the frequent overlap. We experienced one case of recurrent short-rib polydactyly syndrome and presented with review of literature.

        Newspaper Advertisement not only reflects social culture in our society, but also affects in Social-Cultural Values. In addition, Newspaper Advertisement is the main mean. connecting between the public as consumer and the building industry as the producer of Apartment(APT) Market. Therefore, this paper studies residential culture in APT and also, aims to analyze the newspaper advertisement to find the relationship in residential market. Due to changes occurring in APT advertisement after 1998, the price decontrol of Apt has enforced, divided and analyzed since the APT advertisement since the beginning of early 1970's and right after 1998. As APT advertisement among the companies were inflamed due to the enforced level among many various types of APT. Even though the phenomena in APT market influences on the development and changes in traditional APT spatial planning, on the other hand, it results in falsification of our residential culture. Newspaper advertisement presents a new possible direction and proposes corrective social-cultural role by analysis of spatial & class distinction in APT.

        제조조건을 달리한 유과의 품질 비교

        Physicochemical and sensory characteristics of Yukwa(fried rice cookie) made by different processing condition were investigated to establish the optimum expansion of Yukwa. The expansion rate and crispness of Yukwa prepared by soaking waxy rice for 24hours was satisfactory. Addition of 15% soy slurry gave better effect on increasing the expantion rate, crispiness and sensory preference than no addition of soy slurry. Yeast, Soju(distilled liquor), Mackeali(rice wine, turbid) and Chunju(rice wine, clear) as expansion reagent were added to Yukwa preparation. Yeast and Mackeali among tested expansion reagent showed better expansion rate and lower hardness measured by texturometer than Chunju. Yukwa added Chungju showed more fine structure and lower expantion rate than others, Microwave puffed Yukwa was less expansion rate, but same level of crispiness and hardness compared with oil puffed. And no difference in sensory characteristics such as degree of crispiness and stickiness of microwave puffed and oil puffed.

        경구용 속방성 성형제품의 허가 후 변경사항을 다루는 SUPAC-IR에 대한 검토

        The objective of this study was to provide a better understanding of SUPAC-IR and its application in handling postapproval changes to immediate release solid oral dosage forms. Originally, SUPAC-IR was aimed at reducing the regulatory burdern of the industry when they were making postapproval changes, but still at maintaining the formulation quality and performance of a drug product. The postapproval changes that were covered under SUPAC-IR included variations in the components and composition of formulation, the site of manufacturing, batch size, manufacturing equipment, and manufacturing process. The guidance defined levels of changes, based on the likelihood of risk ocurrence and potential impact of postapproval changes upon the safety and efficacy of a drug product. It suggested what a type of filling report should be submitted to the FDA for each level of change. Chemistry, manufacturing, and control tests to be executed were also recommended for each change level. The important tests specified in the guidance included batch release, stability, in vitro dissolution, and in vivo bioequivalence tests. However, there have been strong demands on revising the current SUPAC-IR in order to resolve some issues and to improve its usefulness in evaluating postapproval changes to immediate release solid oral dosage forms. In particular, the rigorous requirement of case C dissolution test and the definition of batch size were challenged by both academia and the industry. A revision work was in progress to reflect these inputs and to expand the utility of SUPAC-IR. As a result of these concerted efforts, an updated 2nd version of SPAC-IR would be likely to be issued very soon to the public.

        사업장 소음 폭로에 의한 일과성 역치 상승과 회복

        To determine the recovery time from noise-induced temporary threshold shift(TTS), a prospective field study was conducted at three worksites where workers are known to be exposed high level of noise. Subjects were selected according to answers on a questionnaire which inquired about otological history and previous noise exposure, including avocational, military and occupational exposures. After excluding employee with past otologic problems, recent exposure to high level noise, and under medications, total 92 employees participated in the study. Among 92 participants, complete consecutive audiometric examinations were carried out at 0∼2 hours, 5∼7 hours, 14∼16 hours after worktime noise exposure on 26 participants wearing hearing protectors and 22 participants wearing no protective devices. The difference between the hearing level 0∼2 hours after noise exposure and 5∼7 hours is statistically significant by paired t-test(p<0.01). The median recovery times calculated from the data of 22 participants wearing no protective hearing devices are 15.6 hours at 4000Hz, and 7.7 hours, 10.3 hours, 8.4 hours at 1000Hz, 2000Hz and 8000Hz respectively. These data suggest that when measuring the pure tone audiometry for noise exposed workers, at least 16 hours noise-free interval is required.

        금 합금 보철물의 교합면 삭제로 인한 임플란트-골 계면으로의 열전달에 관한 연구

        연구 목적: 임플란트-골 계면에서 발생하는 과도한 열은 골유착을 저해하여 임플란트의 실패를 유발한다. 이에 이번 연구에서는 임플란트 금 합금 보철물의 교합면 삭제시 임플란트-골 계면으로의 열전달 양상과 냉각 방식의 효율성을 알아 보고자 하였다. 연구 재료 및 방법: 온도 감지 장치 제작을 위하여 Internal cone 연결형태의 임플란트에 16개의K형 열전대를 부착하여 아크릴릭 레진에 포매하였다. 치과용 금 합금과 주조용 abutment를 사용하여 교합면에 3개의 요철을 가지는 시편을 10개 제작하였고, 연결 나사를 이용하여 임플란트와 연결한 뒤 온도 감지 장치를 37℃로 유지되는 수조에 위치시켰다. 저속 핸드피스와 green stone bur를 이용하여 30초 동안 보철물의 요철을 삭제하였는데, 무냉각군, 공기 냉각 군, 물 분사 냉각 군으로 나누어 요철을 삭제하였다. 보철물이 삭제 되는 동안 임플란트의 부위별로 온도가 0.05초 간격으로 기록되었고, 삭제를 멈춘 뒤에도 무 냉각 군의 경우 임계 온도인 47℃ 이하로 온도가 하강할 때까지, 공기 냉각군과 물 분사 냉각군의 경우 삭제 중단 후 30초 동안 추가로 온도를 기록하였다. 냉각 방식에 따른 임플란트-골 계면의 온도를 알아보고, 임플란트의 부위별 온도변화의 유의차를 알아보기 위하여 one-way ANOVA를 실시하였고, Turkey HSD 이용하여 95% 유의수준에서 사후 검증하였다. 결과: 무 냉각 군은 임플란트-골 계면의 온도가 47℃ 이상으로 상승하였으며, 임플란트의 경부에서 유의하게 높은 열이 측정되었다(P>.05). 공기냉각군과 물분사 냉각군은 임플란트-골 계면의 온도가 47℃ 이하로 유지되었다. 무 냉각 군에서 임플란트 경부의 온도가 47℃에 도달되는 데는 약 10.8 ± 1.5초가 소요되었다. 공기 냉각 군과 물 분사 냉각 군 사이에서는 임플란트-골 계면 온도의 유의차가 없었다(P>.05) 결론: 이상의 결과로부터 임플란트 금 합금 보철물의 교합면 삭제 시, 임플란트 주위 조직에 위해를 가할 수 있는 임계 온도 이상의 열이 발생했음을 알 수 있었으며, 냉각방식은 공기 냉각과 물 분사 냉각 모두 효과적이라고 생각된다. PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to analyze temperature change along the implant-bone interface induced by grinding the occlusal surface of implant gold prosthesis and to compare the temperature generated by grinding of prosthesis with different cooling methods. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The experimental gold prostheses were fabricated with dental gold alloy and castable abutment. The prostheses had 3 cylindrical protrusions on the occlusal surface with 1mm in height. Temperature was measured using 16 thermocouple wires attached to the implant fixture surface and the fixture was embedded in an acrylic resin block inside the 37℃ water bath. Cylinders were grinded for a period of 30 second with a low-speed handpiece with green stone point. One cylindrical protrusion was grinded without cooling, the second one was grinded with air blow, and the third one was grinded with water-spray. RESULTS. The mean maximum temperature was measured more than 47℃ of the implant and the maximum temperature was measured at the cervical portion of the implant in the group without cooling. There was statistically significant difference between the group without cooling and the groups with cooling (P<.05). However, there was no significant difference at all portion of implant in the groups with cooling (P>.05). CONCLUSION. The results of this study support that the grinding of implant gold prosthesis without cooling may damage the peri-implant tissue. The continuous use of air blow and water-spray adjacent to prosthesis during the grinding of implant gold prosthesis may prove to be beneficial for cooling of the implant.
