        補益藥의 補血機轉에 對한 本草學的 解釋

        Hematopoietic actions induced by administration of Astragali radix, Angelicae gigantis radix, Rehmanniae radix preparat and Cervi pantotrichum cornu were compared in SAM R1 and P6. We measured complete blood cells such as RBC, Hb and Hct using Coulter's method and compared the results each other in a view of traditional Korean medicine. The administration of Angelicae gigantis radix did not induce hernatopoietic actions in SAMs and also was quite different those from the other 3 herbs. Thus, the mechanisms of the hematopoietic action by Astragali radix, Angelicae gigantis radix, Rehmanniae radix preparat and Cervi pantotrichum cornu could be different each other.

        착화제와 유기산이 Wistar rat체내의 Sr 분포에 미치는 영향

        Wistar rat에 85SrCl2를 꼬리 정맥에 주사하여 체내 기관과 혈액 내 분포, 잔존율을 조사하였고 착화제와 유기산을 투여하여 혈장 단백질에 결합하는 Sr양의 변화를 측정하였다. 혈액내에서 Sr은 혈장에 60%, 세포에 40%부착되어 이동하였다. 혈장에 존재하는 Sr중 약 50%정도는 혈장 단백질과 결합한 상태였고, 세표에는 세포 표면에 가볍게 부착되어 있었다. Erythrocyte나 granulocyte보다 lymphocyte에 많은 양의 Sr이 부착되어 있었다. 투여후 초기 1시간 이내에 혈액 내에서 급격히 감소하여 뼈에 침착되었다. 이때 각 기관에서도 Sr의 잔존율은 24시간 이내에 크게 감소하였고, 뼈로 침착된 Sr은 24시간 이후에 서서히 감소하였다. 착화제 EDTA, EGTA 및 DTPA를 투여한 경우, 혈장 단백질에 결합하는 Sr의 양은 대조군의 57%에서 27-33%로 감소하였으며 citrate 및 oxalate의 투여시는 이값이 19%와 40%로 각각 감소하였다. 85SrCl2 was injected to the tail vein of Wistar rats and investigated its distribution and clearance in the tissues and blood. We also measured the changes in Sr binding to the blood plasma protein by administrating chelating agents and organic acids. For the blood, 60% of the Sr occurred in the plasma and 40% on the cell membrane. Fifty percent of Sr in the blood plasma was bound to plasma protein. Sr on the cell membrane seemed to be bound loosely. The binding in the lymphocyte was higher than in the erythrocyte and granulocyte. Within one hour Sr was quickly disappeared from the blood stream, to be accumulated in the bone. Twenty four hours after the injection, Sr decreased rapidly in the organs of soft tissue, but slowly in the bone. The binding of Sr to plasma protien decreased from 57% of the control to 27-33% in the group treated with chelating agents. EDTA. EGTA and DTPA and to 19% and 40% in the groups treated with organic acids, citrate and oxalate, respectively.

      • 운동선수들의 고통 대처 반응에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate 1) the validity and reliability of Sports Inventory for Pain(SIP) when used Korean athletes 2) the effect according to gender, injury-potential, performance levels, grade. The participants were 485 athlete's in elementary, middle?igh school and university. The SIP was developed by Meyers et al(1992) and translated into Korean by 2 Ph.D sport psychologist, head coaches. Factor analytic procedure was used to determine SIP factors. Major SIP factors included direct copy, cognitive, catastrophizing, avoidance, body awareness. MANOVAs indicated significant gender(F5,475=2.67, p<.05), injury-potential(F5,475=2.20, p<.05), performance levels(F5,475=2.65, p<.05). Findings demonstrate that the SP can be used to differentiate between gender, injury-potential, performance, thus providing partial confirmation of construct validity of the SIP. These findings may be used as a starting point for continued research delineating and contrasting pain coping response in sport athletes.

      • 폐주물사를 혼입한 콘크리트의 내구특성에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted to evaluate durability of concrete which are increasingly demanded recently. Concrete durability properties incorporating waste foundry sand was performed with the variable of W/C ratio, Sand/Waste foundry sand ratio and Air entrainment-Non air entrainment. Cylinder specimens were made and subjected to freezing and thawing cycle at -18℃ and 4℃. Dynamic modulus of elasticity were as F/T cycle increase. The results show that decreasing W/C ratio and AE concrete makes improved resistance of freezing and thawing improved. Especially, resistance for freezing and thawing is improved by Fine aggregate/Waste foundry sand ratio which is 50%, 25%, 0% in a row.

      • 시멘트 콘크리트의 건조수축균열 특성

        콘크리트는 본질적으로 인장강고와 휨강도가 약하며 취성적 성질을 나타내는 결점을 가지고 있으므로 이를 보강할 목적으로 콘크리트에 섬유를 혼입한 섬유보강 콘크리트가 크게 각광받고 있다. 특히 폴리프로필렌 섬유보강은 모르타르 및 콘크리트가 건조나 동해에 의해 수축될 때 구속에 의해 발생되는 인장응력 및 균열을 제어하고 인성의 증가와 충격, 마모, 피로에 대한 저항성, 내구성을 증대시키는 장점을 가지는 것으로 보고 되고 있다. 1축으로 구속된 건조수축의 구속으로 인한 조강형 콘크리트의 잔류응력을 선형모델을 이용하여 예측할 수 있었고 조강형 콘크리트에 섬유보강으로 인한 건조수축 제어효과는 일반큰코리트에 비해 효과가 매우 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 폴리크로필렌 섬유의 혼입으로 인해 콘크리트의 균열제어가 가능하며, 균열 폭이 큰 균열보다는 많은 미세 균열을 유도하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 섬유보강 조강형 큰크리트의 동결융해저항특성은 거의 동해의 손상을 받지 않으며 좋은 내구성을 유지하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 불규칙하게 배향된 섬유가 공극수의 이동을 효과적으로 제어함으로써 메트릭스 내의 팽창압으로 인한 파괴를 최대한 줄였기 때문이라고 보여진다. 표면손상과 박리저항에 매우 우수하며 저항성을 증진시키는 효과가 뛰어남을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, 내구적 측면의 유지, 보수에 있어서도 섬유보강은 그 효과가 큰 것으로 나타났다. To improve the brittle nature of concrete, discrete fibers can be adapted in concrete. Since polypropylene fiber has many advantages in many points on its chemical stability and good durability, its usages have been increased gradually. It has been reported than polypropylene fibers can not only control restrained tensional stresses and cracks, but also increase toughness, resistance to impact, corrosion, fatigue, and durability. Although the polypropylene fiber reinforced concretes with ordinary cement have been studied so much, those with very early strength concretes have not studied at all. Therefore, it is necessary to initiate and conduct the researches for the polypropylene fiber reinforced very early strength concretes which has enough workability and durability. This study of polypropylene fiber reinforced very early strength concrete focused on the investigation each material's effect into strength development with analysis of restrained shrinkage properties with one-dimensional concrete members. The results showed that more optimized mixture combinations could be selected in very early strength concrete by incorporating polypropylene fibers, keeping in same strength levels at urgent repair works. The formation of needle-shape ettringite helps the early strength development, specially at flexural and this enables the repaired concrete structures or pavements to be opened to traffic after 3 hours of concrete placement. A residual stress of early strength concrete caused by one-dimensional restrained drying shrinkage was predicted from linear model. the control of shrinkage crack by fiber reinforcement at early strength concrete was better than that of ordinary portland cement concrete because of bridging effect of fiber at early age and resulting of more hair cracks rather than fewer wider cracks. As a results, this dissertation clearly validated the fiber reinforcement on the strength development and durability of polypropylene fiber reinforced very early strength concrete, and characteristic of restrained shrinkage. The proposed optimized concrete mixtures might be satisfactory applied at the repair works in fields, because of its durability and crack control capacity against freeze-thaw and contraction at early age, respectively.

      • 양생온도변화에 따른 콘크리트의 강도 예측

        The maturity concept was adopted to predict the strength of concrete, which was subjected to several temperature levels and variable curing conditions. Penetration test and compressive test were conducted to measure the initial and final setting time and the compressible strength of concrete specimen, respectively. Also, the temperature and time were measured at some time intervals for calculating the maturity. The initial and final setting were delayed as the w/c ration increased and curing temperature decreased. The relationships at the relative strength and the equivalent age were proposed at different w/c ratio for the several temperature curing conditions, and these were applied for the variable curing conditions.

      • 산업폐기물인 폐주물사를 혼입한 콘크리트의 최적배합설계

        산업폐기물인 폐주물사를 재활용하여 에너지 절감과 환경오염효과를 얻을 수 있다. 반요인실험법을 사용하여 폐주물사를 잔골재에 일정비율 치환한 콘크리트의 최적배합설계 제시를 위한 예비실험에서 물-시멘트비, 폐주물사의 잔골재 치환율, 잔골재율, 슬럼프와 같은 주요변수와 변수사이의 2차상호작용을 파악하였다. 예비실험결과 폐주물사의 잔골재치환율을 70%까지 실시하였을 때 폐주물사를 혼입한 콘크리트의 강도발현에 가장 중요한 변수는 물-시멘트비로 분석되었고 폐주물사의 잔골재치환율은 거의 영향이 없는 것으로 분석되어 폐주물사를 콘크리트의 잔골재로 대체할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 각 변수의 2차상호작용에서는 폐주물사의 잔골재 치환율과 잔골재율의 상관관계가 콘크리트의 강도발현에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 목표압축강도에 대한 최적배합조건을 폐주물사의 잔골재 치환율에 따라 물-시멘트비, 잔골재율에 대해 제시하였다. The waste foundry sand might be recycled in concrete, saving energy and protect-ing environment. An half- factorial experiments were performed with the primarary variable such as water- cement raito, waste foundry sand substitution ratio, fine agg-regate ratio and slump as a preliminary study for optimum mix design of concrete. The preliminary study show that the water- cement ratio is the most important factor to the concrete strength, followed by slump. The substitute of waste foundry sand up to 70% has little infulence, indicating that it can substitute the fine aggregate without damaging the Concrete strength. The interaction between waste foundry sand substitution ratio and fine aggregate ratio was most significant to the concrete strength among the 2-way interaction variable. Only compressive strength affect to the formation of optimum mix design area as target compressive strengh becomes bigger. Optimum mix designs of concrete incorporating waste foundry sand, satisfying the target responses, were proposed in terms of waste foundry sand substitution ratio, water cement ratio and fine aggregate ratio.

      • 우심방과 우심실의 거대 심장 혈관종 1예

        Cardiac tumors, especially the primary tumors involving any part of the heart are extremely rare and its relative incidence has been reported to be approximately 0.02%. We report a patient with huge cardiac hemangioma who complained of shortness of breath, general weakness, and dizziness, Imaging study by echocardiography and computed tomography of thorax revealed a huge lobulating mass like a bunch of grapes in the right chamber of heart. The surgical exploration of thorax was performed and a histological diagnosis of spindle cell hemangioma was obtained by microscopy. The patient was treated by surgical resection of the tumor and doing well after surgery. Our experience indicated that prompt diagnosis and treatment of cardiac hemangioma is imperative for patients' prognosis.

      • 합성섬유보강 콘크리트의 구속수축균열 제어특성연구

        최근에 폴리프로필렌 섬유를 첨가하여 콘크리트의 인성을 증가시키고, 균열에 대한 저항성을 향상시키고자 하는 노력이 계속되어 왔다. 그러나 첨가된 섬유의 구조에 대한 이해부족으로 인하여 연구자들간에 실험결과에 대한 해석이 상이한 경우가 많았다. 이러한 연구의 일환으로 섬유의 첨가에 따른 건조수축 균열의 조절 가능성을 분석하기 위하여 섬유의 첨가에 따른 유동성과 건조수축의 변화를 조사하였다. 섬유의 첨가에 따른 유동성의 변화와 건조수축을 측정하기 위한 강제링 시편을 제작하였다. 본 연구에서는 섬유를 첨가한 콘크리트의 역학적 거동특성인 압축강도, 휨강도, 인성, 그리고 균열특성을 실험적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 강도 및 건조수축특성을 규명하기 위하여 수행되었고 섬유의 영향으로 인한 건조수축특성을 예견할 수 있다. Polypropylene Fibers have been used to increase the toughness of concrete and to increase the resistance to crack formation. However, there are many contradictory argument about the effectiveness of the fiber due to the lack of knowledge about the mechanism of fiber in concrete. In order to study the effect of fibers on possible crack control, the effects of fibers on workability and drying shrinkage have been studied. The workability change due to the addition of fibers has been studied, and full size concrete steel ring specimen have been cast at field to investigate the effect of fibers on the shrinkage properties. This laboratory have been performed to obtain the properties of pp fiber reinforced concrete such as compressive, flexural strength, toughness, slump, drying shrinkage crack and drying shrinkage characteristics. The present study was performed clarify the strength and drying shrinkage properties. From these results, we can expect the effect of the admixtures of polypropylene fiber for concrete and mortar about strength and drying shrinkage properties.

      • 뇌하수체 종양 제거술 시행 후 뒤늦게 발생한 횡문근 융해증과 동반된 중추성 열

        Body temperature is controlled by thermoregulatory center of the hypothalamus. We report a case of 24 years old man with central fever. He was subjected to a partial excision of pituitary tumor compressing optic chiasm four years ago. He has received hormonal therapy for panhypothyroidism after removal of pituitary tumor. And He received gamma knife operation for partially contrast-enhancing masses in suprasellar and both hypothalamic areas that is probably postoperatively remnant or recurrent tumor of pituitary adenoma. One year after gamma knife operation, he presented with a febrile syndrome of unknown origin including rhabdomyolysis. All usual investigations proved negative. We diagnosed him as central fever with rhabdomyolysis. He received medical ICU care with cooling bed, ice pack. And his symptom improved. Postoperative hyperthermia may result following resection of the pituitary tumor. When central fever is suspected taking note of past history, a quick recognition of course of fever can help reduce the using of unnecessary antibiotics and hospital stay.
