      • Chlamydia Pneumoniae에 대한 헌혈자, 혈액화학검사자 및 Mycoplasma Pneumoniae 항체 검사자의 혈청 항체 보유율

        Chlamydia pneumoniae infections, known to be very prevalent in many countries, are not reported in Korea to the best of our knowelege. Prevalence of antibodies against C. pneumoniae was determined by the micro-immunofluorescence test. The proportion of sera with antibody titers of ≥16,tested by polyvalent conjugate of IgG, IgM, and IgA (poly-Ig) were blood donor 76.8%, blood chemistry-tested patients 58.0% and Mycoplasma Pneumoniae antibody-tested patients 22.0%. The positive rates by age groups were ≤years 13.5%, 10-19 years 66.7% and over all 49.6%. Only three sera showed IgM antibody titer of ≥, which became negative after absorption with RF-absorbent. Poly-Ig against C. trachomatis was less prevalent and that against Legionella pneumophila rare. None of the sera at 1:8 dilution were positive for the poly-Ig against Coxiella burnetii. It is concluded that the poly-Ig antibody against C. pneumoniae are highly prevalent in the sera of Koreans suggesting the existance of the infection, and for the diagnosis of the infection, the same interpretation criteria of the MIF titer, which is used in other countries, can also be applied in Korea.

        The purpose of this experimental study is to investigate the validity of code equation and table to calculate the reduction coefficient for effective net area in the limit state design code of steel structure and offer the basic research data for the effective net area of tee shape members in tension. The experimental tests were performed by loading the specimens through the flange with high strength bolt. Length of connection, number of bolt and the eccentricity are the parameters in test. According to result, the failure loads in test is less than predicted loads and it well showed when the predicted loads are based on reduction coefficient of the table in code. The lateral buckling of stem occurred in the members with big eccentricity and it reduce the failure loads. Therefore, we thought that an additional tests and research on the factors of effective net area is required.

      • 전기영동에 의한 동양란(Cymbidium spp.)의 단백질 유형비교

        본실험은 전기영동을 이용하여 단백질과 동위효소의 유형을 비교 분석함으로 종과 품종을 구분할 수 있는가의 가능성을 조사하고 전기영동에 적합한 난의 부위와 효소의 종류를 선정코자 실시하였다. 1. 한국춘란은 부위별로 꽃봉오리, 뿌리끝, 어린잎, 성엽을 6% polyacrylamide slab gel로 단백질을 비교한 결과 부위별로 유형을 달리하였으나 band의 분리가 명확하지 않았다. 2. 10% SDS polyacrylamide slab gel에서는 band의 분리가 명확하였고 영동재료로는 어느 때나 쉽게 채취가 가능한 잎이나 뿌리를 사용하는 것이 편리하나 뿌리는 phenol 함량은 적으나 단백질 함량이 극히 낮으므로 잎을 시료로 쓰는 것이 양호한 편이었다. 3. 잎을 시료로 쓰는 경우는 엽록소, phenol의 제거가 필요하나 배양중인 rhizome을 사용하면 이러한 난점이 없이 단백질 유형이 뚜렷이 나타나, 춘란(Cymbidium goeingii), 한란(C, kanran), 죽백란(C, lancifolium)을 구분할 수 있었다. 4. Rhyzome의 esterase, peroxidase, acid phosphatase, glucose phosphate isomerase의 동위효소를 비교한 결과 단백질 유형으로는 분류가 어려웠던 춘란(Cymbidium goeringii)과 춘란복륜(Cymbidium goeringii:variated leaves)도 구분할 수 있었다. Peroxidase는 band는 여러가지로 나타났으나 esterase와 같이 band pattern이 명확지 못하였고 acid phosphatase와 glucose phosphate isomerase는 한개씩의 band만이 나타나 분류에는 적합하지 않은 효소로 생각되어졌다. The buffer soluble proteins were extracted from flower, root, young leaves, old leaves, and cultured rhizome. Different patterns of general protein were observed among the tested organs. Among the samples rhizome were the most suitable for electrophoresis to differentiate cultivars. Band patterns of general protein, esterase, peroxidase showed typical band patterns among Cymbidium goeringii, Cymbidium kanran, and Cymbidium lancifolium which have similar appearance of vegetative leaves. The isozymes of esterase, peroxidase, acid phosphatase, and glucose phosphate isomerase in cultured rhizome were analized. The well-resolved zones of esterase activity were detected. The differentiation of Cymbidium goeringii and Cymbidium goeringii : variated leaves which was hard to differentiated by general protein patterns, could be done by esterase isozyme band pattern.

      • 장기간의 복합트레이닝이 중년 남녀의 스포츠 의학적 변인에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of sports medicine variables after 20weeks combined training. Subjects were consisted of 130 middle-aged males and females. The training program was separated treadmill running and muscular resistance training. The treadmill running was composed of 60-70% HRmax(Intensity), 30 minutes per day(Duration), 5 days per week(Frequency). The muscular resistance training was composed of 70% of 1RM(Intensity), 40 minutes per day(Duration), 5 days per week(Frequency). multiple ANOVA was used to evaluate change times. We found that weight, BMI %body fat, SBP and DBP were significantly decreased and LBM was significantly increased after 20 weeks combined training. In conclusion, combined training was shown to positive influence on body composition and blood pressure. Therefore, it is maybe though that 20 weeks combined training will benefit the prevention of life style related diseases.

        대구지역 고등학생들의 흡연실태 및 니코틴 의존도

        The purpose of this study was to surveyed the smoking status and pattern, nicotine dependence and factors associated with smoking and nicotine dependence for high school students in Daegu. In March. 2000, 1,593 students from 7 male and 6 female high schools located in Taegu were assessed with self-completing questionnaire. The major findings were as follows; Percentage of male smokers was 15.0% in general high school, 30.9% in business high school and that of female smokers was 5.0% in whole woman's high school. The median score of FTQ was 4.0 among male smokers and female smokers. the mean of FTQ score was 4.07±1.96 in male and 3.94±1.63 in female. Percentage of students with high FTQ score(FTQ≥7) was 13.3% in male and 5.9% in female. In multiple logistic regression analysis, smoking had significant association with general characteristics such as personal-specifics factors, family environment factors and school environment factors. In multiple logistic regression analysis, nicotine dependence had significant association with school-age and duration of smoking. On consideration of above findings, to prevent students from smoking and to reduce the smoking rate, we have to try together in house, school and society.

      • Glassy Carbon 전극에서의 벗김 전압-전류법을 이용한 2-Amino-1-cyclopentene-1-dithiocarboxylate의 분석과 전극 반응 메카니즘의 연구

        많은 금속이온들에 대한 킬레이트시약으로 알려진2-amino-1-cyclopentene-1-dithiocarbox-ylate(acdc) 음이온의 전기화학적 거동을 직류 폴라로 그래피, 순환 전압전류법 및 양극 벗김 전압 전류법을 사용하여 수용액 및 아세톤 용액에서 각각 조사하였다. 수용액에서 glassy carbon전극을 사용하였을 때 +0.25V vs. SCE에서 1전자 산화반응을 거쳐 acdc의 이합체가 생성됨을 확인하였으며 이 이 합체는 glassy carbon 전극 표면에 석출되어 흡착이 일어남을 알 수 있었다. 이 흡착된 이합체가 +0.80V에서 2전자 산화반응을 거쳐 S가 한원자 유리된 고리를 형성하는 반응이 일어 남을 알았다. 이러한 이합체 생성반응을 이용하여 이 화합물의 흡착성 양극 벗김 전압전류법에 의한 분석법을 조사하였다. 직류폴라로그래피을 사용한 벗김 전압-전류법에 의해 검량선을 얻은 결과 3 ×10^(-5)M∼10^(-6)M 사이에서 좋은 직선상을 얻을 수 있었으며 확산전류를 사용한 분석법에 비해 약100배 가량 분석감도가 증진됨을 알 수 있었다. 이때 검출한계는 2.5 ∼10^-7)M이었으며 5 ×10^(-6)M에서의 상대 표준편차는 ±4.1%이었다. The electrochemical behavior of 2-Amino-1-cyclopentene-1-dithiocarboxylate(acdc) was investigated by the use of polarography, cyclic voltammetry and cathodic stripping voltammetry at glassy carbon electrode. In this study, it was found that the dimer of the acdc was deposited on the glassy carbon electrode via one-electron oxidation process at ±0.25V vs.SCE. The ring formation between two dithio group occurs along with the elimination of one sulfur atom. The elimination of sulfur atom occurs via two electron oxidation process at ±0.8V vs.SCE. The most sensitive cathodic stripping peak due to the formation of the dimer was observed at -0.85V vs. SCE. The peak relationship between current and concentration was fairly linear in the range of 3 ×10^(-5)∼1.0 ×10^(6)M. The preconcentration procedure enhanced the sensitivity about 100 times for the analysis of acdc using diffusion current. Detection limit was found to be 2.5 ×10^(-7)M and relative standard deviation was ±4.1% at 5.0 ×10^(-6)M DC polarography.

        The world-famous corporation in various fields of industry established their business and maintained the fame by their own steady hit goods. Steady hit good means the product which ensures high demand and gives high sales, profits for a long time to the corporation after entering to the market successfully. This study is aimed at analyzing steady hit goods, and inducing out their success factors. As the result of analysis of the three cases of steady hit goods in the domestic food and drink industry, several common, and discriminative success factors were derived. For general success factors of steady hit goods, future studies are needed in more number of cases in all the industries.

      • 흰쥐에 Vitamin Antioxidants 투여가 Lipid Peroxidation에 미치는 영향

        We observed the effect of the administration of vitamin A,C and E with β-naphthoflavone and piperonyl butoxide on cytochrome P-450 level and lipid peroxidation in rats liver. The level of hepatic cytochrome P-450 decreased after vitamin A,C and E was administration. In contrast, β-naphthoflavone, when administered with vitamin A,C and E, the increase of cytochrome P-450 was prevented. Lipid peroxidation was decreased after vitamin A, C, and E was administer-ed. Moreover when β-naphthoflavone was administered together with vitamin A, C and E lipid peroxidation was not increased. When piperonyl butoxide was administered together with vitamin A,C and E, both cytochrome P-450 and lipid peroxidation were decreased. These results indicate that vitamin antioxidants can prevent lipid peroxidation by a cytochrome P-450 dependent terminal oxidase system in rat liver microsomes.
