측정 정밀도 향상을 위한 3차원 치아모델 스캐너의 보정

In this paper, a 3D dental model scanner is developed to automatically measure the shape of the plaster dental model. In obtaining the 3D point data, triangulation using a camera and a laser slit beam is implemented. To improve the accuracy of the scanner, the scanner should be calibrated. The calibration parameters includes 1) the camera's interior parameters (focal length, center of the image, distortion ration) and 2) exterior parameters (position and rotation of the camera). This paper presents the mathematical models of a camera and the 3D position measuring algorithm, which are used in the calibration procedure. After calibration, experiments using an object whose dimensions are known are executed and the overal measuring accuracy is discussed.

Paraquat lung에서 TNF alpha 분포에 관한 연구

To investigate the process of the Paraquat induced lung damage, the white rats were administered 20 mg/Kg of Paraquat intraperitoneally. Three, seven, ten, 24 hours, three, five, seven, ten and fifteen days after this injection, the rats were sacrificed. The removed lung were evaluated by tumor necrosis factor and histologic study, so following results were obtained. 1. The significant inflammatory changes appeared after 3 days and most severity was seen in 7 days. The fibrosis appeared after 7 days and the degree was mild through observation period which indicate that the developement of fibrosis need more time. 2. TNF-∝ positivity precedes morphologic changes of the lung induced by Paraquat administratin, then positiviey of TNF-∝ decreases if the tissue destrucion is severe. 3. Early histologic change such as edema and ARDS like finding may be due to vascular leakage, caused by retraction of endothelium influenced by TNF-∝.

상아질형성부전증에 대한 증례보고

Dentinogenesis imperfecta is inherited as a single autosomal dominant trait. Clinical features of dentinogenesis imperfecta is one in which the primary and permanent teeth are a characteristic reddish brown to gray opalescent color. Enamel is usually brokedown and exposed soft dentin abrades rapidly. Radiographs show slender roots and bulbous crown. The pulp chamber is small and pulp canals are small and ribbon-like. A 8-year-old and 9-year-old brother with complaint of abnormal crown shape and color of the teeth came to department of Pediatric Dentistry for complete rehabilitation. Family history revealed the wearing the complete denture due to premature loss of permanent teeth is several relatives. The obtained results were as follow. 1. Teeth showed yellowish brown color. The crown of teeth showed severe attrition and breakdown of enamel in both deciduous and permanent dentitions. 2. Partial or complete obliteration of the pulp chambers and pulp canals, and small teeth buds of permanent premolar were observed on radiographs. 3. Family history revealed the complete denture due to premature loss of permanent teeth in several rlatives. 4. Restorations of anterior teeth with composite resin veneering showed good esthetic result. But brokendown easily due to loss of dentinal support. 5. Restoration of posterior teeth with preformed crown rehabilitated the masticatory function and estabilished the vertical dimension of occlusion. But further care is needed for estabilishment of final vertical dimension of occlusion after completion of the permanent dentition.

We experienced a 25 year-old male patient with typhoid fever complicated with massive hemoptysis. Pulmonary complication in typhoid fever is very rare and to our knowledge, there has been no report of hemoptysis as a main cause of death with this disease. We herein report a rare case of typhoid fever.

아세클로페낙 연질캡슬(클란자 에스 연질캡슬)의 개발

To develop and aceclofenac soft capsule, four preparations with various solubilizers were prepared and their dissolution test was carried out. Among four preparations tested, a preparation with ethanolamine was selected a formula of aceclofenac soft capsule (Clanza S^(™), since it showed the fastest dissolution rate. Bioequivalence of aceclofenac tablet, Airtal^(™)(Dae-Woong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) and aceclofenac soft capsule, Clanza S^(™)(Korea United Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) was evaluated according to the guideline of KFDA. Fourteen normal male volunteers (age 20-25 years old) were divided into two groups and a randomized 2×2 cross-over study was employed. After oral administration of one tablet or capsule containing 100 ㎎ of aceclofenac, blood ws taken at predetermined time intervals and the concentration of aceclofenac in plasma wa determined with an HPLC method under UV detector. The pharmacokinetic parameters (C_(max), T_(max) and AUC_(t)) were calculated and ANOVA was utilized for the statistical analysis of parameters using logarithmically transformed AUC_(t), C_(max) and T_(max) between Airtal tablet and Clanza soft capsule were 2.89%, 0.18% and 43.0%, respectively. There were no sequence effects between two formulations in these parameters. The 90% confidence intervals using logarithmically transformed data were within the acceptance range of log(0.8) to log(1.250(e.g.log(0.81) - log(1.23) and log(0.89) - log(1.14)) for AUC_(t) and C_(max), respectively. Thus, the criteria of the KDFA guidelines for the equivalence was satisfied, indicating that Clanza S^(™) soft capsule is bioequivalent to Airtal^(™) tablet.

고무질 보강 식품포장용 LDPE필름의 기계적 강도와 기체투과 선택성

To improve the mechanical strength of the functional LDPE packaging film that has deficiency in the strength, though the film is active in vitality and has selective permeability for specific gases such as ethylene and carbon dioxide, this work blends a rubbery polymer, ethylene propylene monomeric rubber(EPM), in the LDPE film, and examines the mechanical strength and the permeability to assess preserving the functionality of freshness keeping of product. Overcoming the defect of incomplete coupling of the ceramic powder to the LDPE film is to use a coupling agent KBM-503( γ -methacryloxy propyl trimethoxy silane) of Shinetsu company in Japan. The optimum blending ratio of the EPM was about 5 percent in weight. The blended film reserves the selective gas permeability in relatively equivalent capacity of the non-rubbery film. The 5 percent EPM blended film has stronger mechanical strength than that made without the EPM, The strength approaches to the pure LDPE film. In conclusion, this work presents the method of improving mechanical strength without any depression in its freshness keeping functionality of the conventional packaging film.

Mica에 대한 이산화티탄의 흡착에 관한 연구

Titanium oxide was prepared by the hydrolysis of TiCl_4 and was coated on mica. The optical characteristics such as reflection and transmission of the latter was studied. The effects of concentrations of TiCl_4 on the rate of hydrolysis, particle size of hydrolysis product (Ti0_2), and crystal induction time, were found to be quite reverse to the general principle. Graphical analysises show that the crystal induction time was shorter as the concentra-tion of TiCl_4 decreased. By proper regulation of the condition of hydrolysis of TiCl_4 solution, mica pigments of colours ranging from silver-white to red was produced. Their maximum intensity of light reflection and maximum transmittance were from 300 to 800nm and from 400 to 700nm respectively.

헬리코박터 파이로리 균 진단용 ^13C-요소 캅셀의 개발

The purpose of this study was to develop a new ^13C-urea- containing capsule for diagnosis of H. pylori. The urea-containing capsules were prepared with various diluents such as polyethylene glycol (PEG), microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate and citric acid. The dissolution test, ^13C-urea breath test and stability test were then performed on the capsules. Microcrystalline cellulose and sodium lauryl sulfate retarded the initial dissolution rates of urea. However, PEG increased the initial dissolution rates of urea. Furthermore, two formulae composed of PEG, [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] and [^13C-urea/PEG/citric acid (38/1.9/1.9 mg/cap)] had the maximum DOB value, about 16 at 20 mim, while the formula composed of only 38 mg ^13C-urea had the maximum DOB value at 30 min. The results indicated that PEG improved the sensitivity of ^13C-urea in the human volunteers. The capsule [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] was stable for at least six months in 25 and 37℃. Thus, a PEG-containing capsule, [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] would be a more economical, sensitive and stable preparation for diagnosis of H. pylori.

오존공정을 이용한 염색폐수의 처리특성에 관한 연구

The wastewater from textile industry typically containing high alkalify, salts, organic matter, and high color. Textile wastewater is usually treated by anaerobic-aerobic activated-sludge process. The activated-sludge process is effective the reduction of organic matter, but generally does not remove color. Ozone process is one of the most effective process in removal of color for the textile wastewater. Ozone has a strong oxidized dissolution of organism, deceleration, deodorization, fumigation, etc., regarding to water. This study focused on the color removal of textile wastewater. In this study, textile wastewater was treated strongly with ozone at 650mg/hr and the flow rate through ozone contact tank was adjusted to 5L/min. In an application Ozone treatment, Color was generally decreased with time, however, COD removal effect was not that good. In this study, the removal efficiencies of CODcr and Color were 23.5%, 80.4% respectively.

Bio-coal을 첨가하는 AS법에 의한 적조생성 원인물질의 제거특성

Eutrophication derived from the excess inflow of organics and nutrients into discharge basins results in the mass production of algae, causing other secondary water pollution. Also, toxic alg-ae have been associated with eutrophication in coastal regions and have been implicated in the occrrernce of "red tide" which may lead to paralytic shellfish poisoning. But existing methods that are weak in the performance of from 10 to 20 percent N, P removals have not coped with the water pollution owing to eutrophication. In this study, to researchtreatment characteristics of media in conventional activated sludge system, existng Conventional Activated Sludge system and Media-introduced Activated Sludge system are made a comparative study using a pilot plant in the field. In the performance of Organic matter removal, Media-introduced methid is better than non Medial method, improving BOD average removal 5%, COD 18%, respectively and in nutrients T-N 27% and T-P 12.3%, average. Experiments have it that Media-including methods with shorten HRTs(5 hours) is more satisfactory than Conventional Activated Sludge system with 7 hours.
