인공지능 윤리 교육을 위한 윤리적 딜레마 시나리오 내용 개발 및 효과성 분석: Moral machine 대안의 탐구

The importance of artificial intelligence ethics education is being emphasized due to the increasing social impact of artificial intelligence technology. Moral machines are actively used as educational tools in a situation where there is a lack of educational practice materials for artificial intelligence ethics education in the educational field. However, in the process of using Moral machines, learners can form negative perceptions of artificial intelligence technology. Therefore, this paper proposed and developed a new ethics education scenario in consideration of the limitations of artificial intelligence education using existing Moral machines. Based on the Moral machine, a new ethics education scenario was tested on 6th graders of elementary school, and it showed a positive effect. Through these results, the use of a modified Moral machine, a scenario of new ethics education in artificial intelligence ethics education for elementary school students, is proposed as a way to minimize negative effects and provide a positive learning experience. This study emphasizes the importance of artificial intelligence ethics education in the curriculum of elementary school students and intends to lay the foundation for future research. It is hoped that more research will contribute to improving the efficiency of education by exploring the development and effectiveness of artificial intelligence ethics education programs.

Orphan drugs are used for rare disease, the number of domestic patients suffering from such disease being no more than 20,000 or for disease for which no treatment or no alternative medicine is yet. Orphan drugs are supplied by pharmaceutical companies or by Korea Orphan Drug Center(KODC). Presently, there are total 93 kinds of orphan drugs designated as such by the relevant laws, and Seoul National University Hospital(SNUH) has 49 kinds(53%) of them(as of June 2003). The purpose of this study was to analyze usage of orphan drugs prescribed by SNUH and to improve of the related pharmacy services for effective treatment of patents of the rare disease. We analyzed usage of orphan drugs inside and outside of SNUH, gender of patients, related clinical departments and frequency of use for the period from Jan. 2001 to June 2003. For the purpose, we used KODC data of use by patients in SNUH. The use of orphan drugs in SNUH sharply increased from 2000 through 2001 and was steadily increasing since then. The ratio of usage inside to outside SNUH was 92 to 8(as of June 2003). The clinical department that prescribed the orphan drugs most frequently was the internal medicine department(74~84%). The most frequently used drugs were antiviral agents(74%, oral drug) and antineoplastics(58%, injectable drug). KODC supplied 6 kinds of orphan drugs in 2002 and 4 kinds in the first half of 2003 to SNUH patients. The proportion of SNUH patients to the total patients who used orphan drugs supplied by KODC was very variable. (dantrolen 0.46% ~ ganciclovir 50.5%).

In this study, discrimination of shred of frozen and dried Alaska pollack, shred of dried pollack and shred of cod using electronic nose based on mass spectrometer was carried out. Intensities of each fragment from shred of frozen and dried Alaska pollack by e-nose were completely different from those of dried pollack and cod. Each sample was analyzed, and discriminant function analysis was used for the discrimination of similar products. DFA plot indicated a significant separation of each shred of frozen and dried Alaska pollack, shred of dried pollack and shred of cod(r²= 0.7787, F= 185.2). E-nose based on MS system could be used as an efficient method for discriminant of EMA foods.

In this study, discrimination of salted cuttlefish and salted mitra squid was carried out using electronic nose based on mass spectrometer. Intensities of each fragment from salted cuttlefish by electronic nose were completely different from those of salted mitra squid. Each sample was analyzed, and discriminant function analysis(DFA) was used for the discrimination of similar products. DFA plot indicated a significant separation of each salted cuttlefish and mitra squid(r²= 0.8789, F= 162.13). Electronic nose based on mass spectrometer could be used as an efficient method for discrimination of Economically Motivated Authentication (EMA) foods.

Gitelman syndrome is a hereditary renal tubular disorder characterized by hypokalemia, metabolic alkalosis, hypomagnesemia, and hypocalciuria. This syndrome is caused by the genetic mutation of SLC12A3 gene encoding thiazide-sensitive sodium-chloride symporters in the apical membrane of distal convoluted tubular cells. Even though Gitelman syndrome is very similar to Bartter syndrome, it might be differentiated by hypomagnesemia, hypocalciuria, older onset age and higher prevalence rate. However, the precise diagnosis is made by gene variation through molecular genetic study. Herein, we report two cases of Gitelman syndrome in sisters diagnosed by familial genetic study.
