        e-learning 환경에서 대학도서관 강의지원 서비스운영방안 연구

        본 연구는 e-learning으로 변화된 대학의 강의환경을 반영하여 대학도서관 강의지원 서비스의 의의와 현황을 분석하고, 현재 환경에서 요구되는 서비스운영방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대학도서관 강의지원 서비스와 대학의 e-learning 환경의 개념 및 특성을 밝히고, 국내외 대학도서관의 강의지원 서비스 현황 및 사례를 조사하여 분석하였다. 국내 현황 파악을 위해 현재 강의지원 서비스를 제공 중인 국내 48개 대학도서관을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 32개 관(67%)이 설문에 참여하였다. 조사결과를 바탕으로 강의지원 서비스운영방안을 인력 및 조직, 자원과 서비스, 정보기술, 커뮤니케이션과 홍보 측면에서 제안하였다. The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning and status of the current service of academic libraries in the aspect of its supporting roles for academic courses. The research methods include an examination of model cases from the U.S.A. and Hong Kong and also an electronic questionnaire survey of 32 academic libraries in Korea(67% response rate). With the result of the research analysis, this study aimed to provide optimal administrative plans in e-learning environment.

        1세 미만과 1세 이상의 가와사끼병 환아에서 급성기 임상양상 및 관상동맥 변화에 대한 비교

        목 적 : 기존의 진단기준을 모두 만족시키지 못하는 비정형적인 가와사끼병이 실제로 1세 미만에서 더 흔히 발생하는지 및 가와사끼병의 심혈관 합병증의 위험인자로 기존에 언급된 바 있는 1세 미만에 발병한 가와사끼병 환아에 있어서 1세 이상 가와사끼병 환아와 비교하여 급성기의 임상양상, 검사실 소견, 관상동맥 병변의 빈도에 차이가 있는지를 알아보고, 이들 비교 분석을 통해 가와사끼병의 발병연령에 따른 좀더 합리적인 진단기준 설정 및 조기치료의 필요성이 있는지에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법: 1997년 4월부터 2001년 5월까지 49개월간 중앙대학교 용산병원 및 필동병원 소아과에 가와사끼병으로 입원하였던 환아 70례를 대상으로 발병연령이 1세 미만인 환아 17례와 1세 이상인 53례로 나누어 성별, 급성기 임상양상, 입원시 검사실 소견, 급성기, 아급성기 및 회복기의 심초음파 검사 소견 등에 대해 입원 기록지를 후향적으로 분석하였다. 결 과 : 1) 총 70례의 환아 중 1세 미만 환아는 24.3%를 차지하였고 발병연령은 최소 2개월에서 최대 8세였으며(평균연령 26.5개월) 전체 대상아의 남녀비는 1.3 : 1였고 1세 미만군의 남녀비는 3.3 : 1 및 1세 이상군의 남녀비는 1.0 : 1로 1세 미만 환아에서 통계적으로 유의하게 남아에서 호발하였다(P=0.04). 2) 발열시작부터 IVIG을 투여 받기까지의 총 발열일수($4.6{\pm}1.3$ 대 $6.2{\pm}2.5$일, P=0.004)와 발열시작부터 최초의 심초음파 시행까지의 일수($5.2{\pm}1.6$일 대 $7.1{\pm}2.6$일, P=0.01)는 1세 미만군에서 유의하게 짧았고, 5일 이상의 발열을 보인 경우(70.6% 대 92.5%, P=0.008)는 1세 미만군에서 유의하게 적었다. 경부림프절 비대를 보인 우(35.3% 대 66.0%, P=0.02)는 1세 미만에서 유의하게 적었다. 가와사끼병의 전형적 임상징후 5개를 모두 보인 경우(41.2% 대 75.5%, P=0.006)는 1세 미만군에서 유의하게 적었다. 비정형적 기타 임상증상 중 호흡기 증상의 빈도(23.5% 대 50.9 %, P=0.041)는 1세 이상군에서 유의하게 많았다. 3) 입원시 혈청 알부민($4.3{\pm}0.3g/dL$ 대 $3.8{\pm}0.5g/dL$, P=0.005)은 1세 이상군에서 유의하게 낮았고, 혈청 BUN($11.0{\pm}3.9mg/dL$ 대 $8.5{\pm}2.8mg/dL$, P=0.026)은 1세 미만군에서 유의하게 높았으며, 혈청 칼륨($4.8{\pm}0.4mEq/L$ 대 $4.1{\pm}0.4mEq/L$, P<0.001)은 1세 이상군에서 유의하게 낮았다. 4) 심초음파상 심염의 빈도는 급성기, 아급성기, 회복기 모두 두군간 차이가 없었다. 관상동맥확대 빈도는 급성기, 아급성기, 회복기 모두 1세 미만군에서 더 높았으나 통계적 유의성은 급성기(47.1% 대 17.0%, P=0.01)에만 있었고 가와사끼병으로 진단되어 IVIG를 투여한 후인 아급성기 및 회복기에는 두군간 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결 론 : 1세 미만에 발병한 가와사끼병 환아에서는 1세 이상군에 비해 전형적인 진단기준을 완전히 만족하지 못하는 경우가 유의하게 많으며 급성 발열기에 관상동맥변화가 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 1세 미만의 어린 영아에서 뚜렷한 원인이 없이 발열이 지속되는 경우에는 가와사끼병의 가능성을 항상 염두에 두고 심초음파 검사를 시행, 관상동맥 병변 유무를 확인하여 조기진단과 조기의 적절한 IVIG 투여가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. Purpose : To identify the necessity of more reasonable diagnostic criteria and the possibility of early prediction of coronary involvement in the higher risk group, we investigated and compared clinical and laboratory findings in the acute phase and coronary involvements in those younger (n=17) and older(n=53) than one year of age in Kawasaki disease(KD). Methods : Retrospective chart reviews were performed on 70 patients with KD who were admitted to the Chung-Ang University Hospital from April 1997 to May 2001. Results : Male were significantly higher in the younger age group(M : F ratio 3.3 : 1 vs. 1.0 : 1, P=0.004). Fever durations before intravenous immunoglobulin(IVIG) and echocardiography were significantly shorter in the younger group($4.6{\pm}1.3$ vs. $6.2{\pm}2.5$, P=0.004 vs. 0.01, respectively). Cases meeting typical diagnostic criteria were significantly less in the younger group(P=0.006). In the laboratory findings, serum albumin, BUN and $K^+$ levels in the acute febrile phase were significantly higher in the younger group(P=0.002, 0.006, <0.001, respectively) and incidences of coronary artery dilatation in the acute phase were significantly higher in the younger group(P=0.01). Conclusion : Although less met the typical diagnostic criteria of KD, infants younger than one year of age are more susceptible to coronary artery change in the acute febrile phase. Therefore, KD should be entertained as a diagnostic possibility in young infants with prolonged fever without distinct fever focus, and echocardiography should be considered as part of the evaluation of these patients, and then early diagnosis and prompt IVIG should be conducted.

        빈랑자(Arecae Semen)로부터 arecoline의 분리 및 함량분석

        The seeds of Areca catechu L. has been used for the treatment of the diseases caused by parasites in East Asia. As a part of a research for standardization of crude drugs, we have determined the content of arecoline in the seeds of Arecae Semen purchased from various regions of Korea. The HPLC method for quantitative analysis of arecoline in Arecae Semen was established and reproducible results and chromatographic isolation of arecoline was accomplished successively. It suggested that the content of arecoline in Arecae Semen was $0.2726\;{\pm}\;0.05532%$.

        박태기나무의 잎으로부터 피부멜라닌 색소생성 억제성분의 분리

        Tyrosinase plays an important role in the process of melanin polymer biosynthesis. Therefore, the enzyme inhibitors have been of great concern as cosmetics to have skin-whitening effects on the local hyperpigmentation. During the search for new inhibitory compounds on melanin polymer biosynthesis from natural sources, MeOH extracts of 589 higher plants were tested for the inhibitory effect on tyrosinase activity by the muschroom tyrosinase assay in vitro. Among plants tested, the leaves of Cercis chinensis exhibited potent inhibitory effect on mushroom tyrosinase activity. Subsequently seven active compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate soluble part of acetone extract of the leaves of C. chinensis by the activity guided fractionation monitoring the inhibitory effect on tyrosinase activity. Their chemical structures were identified as $kaempferol-3-0-{\alpha}-L-rhamnoside$, quercitrin, $myricetin-3-0-{\alpha}-L-rhamnoside$, myricetin-3-0-(2'-O-galloyl)- ${\alpha}$ -L-rhamopyranoside (desmanthin), (-)-epicatechin-3-0-gallate, (-)-epigallocatechin-3-0-gallate, and methyl gallate on the basis of the speculation of spectral data and chemical reaction. Among the flavonol rhamnosides, myricetin-3-0-(2'-O-galloyl)- -L-rhamnoside(desmanthin) showed most potent inhibitory effect on tyrosinase activity and the structure of B-ring in flavonol moiety was related to the activity. (-)-Epigallocatechin-3-O-gallate having pyrogallol group in flavan-3-ol moiety exhibited more potent inhibitory effect than (-)-epicatechin-3-0-gallate having catechol group in flavan-3-ol moiety on mushroom tyrosinase activity.

        In Vitro Study on the Bond Strength Between 3D-Printed Resin and Resin Cement for Pediatric Crown Restoration

        A 3D-printed resin crown is a novel option for esthetic crown restoration for primary teeth, which are typically bonded with resin cement. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bonding ability of a 3D printing resin and compare it with other indirect resin materials for crown fabrication. The shear bond strengths of two 3D printing resin materials, Graphy (GP) and NextDent (NXT), and two indirect resin materials, VIPI Block (VIPI) and MAZIC Duro (MZ), were compared in the study. For all materials, the shear bond strength at the interface between the surface of the resin material and resin cement was measured. The mean shear bond strength values of GP, NXT, MZ, and VIPI were 23.29 ± 3.88, 26.14 ± 4.67, 25.41 ± 4.03, and 18.79 ± 4.26 MPa, respectively. There was no significant difference among the SBSs of GP, NXT and MZ except for VIPI. The result of this study indicates that the 3D printing resin meets the essential requirement for clinical use by showing clinically adequate bond strength.

        Financial Panic and Exchange Rate Overshooting during Currency Crises

        During currency crises, some currencies depreciate more than the post-crisis exchange rate level, which can be described as exchange rate overshooting. Previous studies have claimed that a tight monetary policy, represented by an increase in the interest rate, stabilizes an exchange rate by causing currency appreciation, thereby explaining overshooting. This paper tests the hypothesis that overshooting simply reflects the overreaction of investors due to financial panic during currency crises, regardless of subsequent domestic policies. Empirical results suggest that: (1) the positive relationship between monetary tightening and the overshooting measure is very sensitive to sample selection; and (2) the measure of financial panic has a significant and positive relationship with the measure of overshooting in non-European countries.

        냉감 소재를 활용한 밀착형 여성 스포츠 상의의 착용쾌적성 평가

        This research investigated the effects of cool touch fabrics on thermo-regulating physical properties and subjective evaluation using a 3D fitted women's T-shirts in wear test. Qmax, clothing microclimate, microclimate wettedness, thermogram and subjective vote were observed during rest-right after an exercise-rest protocol. As a result, there was no single determining physical variable to explain the reasons of cool sensations of T-shirts made of cool touch fabric across the entire protocol. Qmax could partly predict a wear sensation at the initial stage when only insensible perspiration was presented. Simultaneous observation of temperature/humidity gradient understand from the inside to the outside of the clothing layer or microclimate wettedness calculated using vapor pressure were helpful to figure out the performance of cool touch fabric, especially at the later stage of the protocol when sweating was excessive. It was especially difficult to connect thermo-regulating physical variables to the subjective evaluation during transient conditions such as 'right after exercise' stage. It is necessary to measure the amount of heat and moisture transferred from the skin to the outside of clothing along with the physical properties measured in this study to understand the detailed mechanisms of why a cool sensation is evoked from tight fitting T-shirts made of newly developed cool touch fabrics.

        Influence of Coating Ligands onf Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay of Toluene

        The specificity of conjugation site for coating ligands was investigated using toluene-bovine serum albumin (BSA) conjugates in which BSA was conjugated at the position of o-, m-, and ${\rho}-toluic$ acid. Toluene-BSA conjugated at ${\rho}-position$ showed a binding activity of about 89-95%, whereas, those conjugated at o- and m-position of toluene exhibited a binding activity of 5 and 11%, respectively. On the basis of the above result, coating ligands with various proteins (OVA, BSA, KLH) were compared by conjugating with $\rho-toluic$ acid, and toluene-KLH was considered as the best coating ligand for this ELISA. Indirect competitive ELISA method was developed using anti-toluene antibody and $\rho-position$ conjugated toluene-KLH. The dose-response curve constructed after kinetic and optimization studies showed a 1${\times}$10-4 - 1${\times}$102 mM detectable response range with 0.1 ${\mu}M$ detectability. In specificity test of the antibody, the binding capabilities of aromatic compounds substituted with nitro-, alkyl-, chloro-, and hydroxyl group were larger rather than those of aromatic compounds (benzene, toluene and xylene) themselves. Also, tests with soil and water samples that had been spiked with toluene resulted in 102.7-113.7% recovery.

        남매에서 비슷한 시기에 발생한 Henoch-$Sch{\ddot{o}}nlein$ 자반증 2례

        저자들은 남매에서 3주 정도의 차이를 둔 비슷한 시기에 피부의 자반성 구진, 관절의 부종 및 관절통을 주소로 내원하여 HS 자반증으로 진단받은 두명의 환아를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Henoch-$Sch{\ddot{o}}nlein$ purpura(HSP) frequently follows upper respiratory infection, and one of the causes of this discase is inferred to $\beta$-hemolytic streptococcal infection, but the relationship is still unclear. familial tendency of this disease is unclear, too. Also genetic relationship of this disease has been in a controversy yet. We experienced two cases of HSP in brother and sister at similar period, and report this case with review of related literatures.
