Locoregional recurrence is the most common type of recurrence in surgical operation of gastric adenocarcinoma, and peritoneal dissemination is one of the most difficult problems in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma treatment. Because the peritoneal cavity is the most common site of the first recurrence after gastric cancer resection, intraperitoneal chemotherapy seems a logical choice for cancer chemotherapy. In this study, Mitomycin C (MMC)-activated charcoal (CH)-alginate (ALG) beads were prepared by the mixtures of CH particles adsorbed with MMC as an anti-cancer drug and aqueous alginate solution. The alginate is recognized as biodegradable, nontoxic, and biocompatible. The release of MMC from the beads in 0.1 M Tris buffer was stable and continuous until about 1 week. The MMC-CH-ALG beads can be applied in the peritoneal cavity for intraperitoneal chemotherapy since they provide a good adhesiveness on the tissue and controlled release pattern of the drugs.

Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), a key component in photoaging of the skin due to exposure to ultraviolet A, appear to he increased by ultraviolet A irradiation-associated generation of reactive oxygen species. In this study, we investigated the effects of synthetic rutaecarpine. which is also found in Evocdia rutaercztpa. on the ultraviolet A-induced changes in the expression of gelatinases: matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2 and MMP-9 using HaCaT human keratinocytes as a model cellular system Ultraviolet A irradiation of HaCaT cells increased the gelatinolytic activities of MMP-2 and MMP-9, which was significantly suppressed by the pretreatment with rutaecarpine. In addition, rutaecarpine significantly suppressed the ultraviolet A-induced enhanced expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9 proteins and mRNAs. Rutaecarpine also inhibited the H₂O₂-induced increase in the expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9. Furthenuore, rutaecarpine decreased the ultraviolet A-induced increased generation of reactive oxygen species. taken together, these results suggest that rutaccarpine inhibited ultraviolet A-induced reactive oxygen species generation. resulting in the enhanced expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in human skin cells. These results further suggest that ruetaccaipine may be useful in the prevention of ultraviolet A-induced photoaging.

본 영남대학교 의과대학 신경외과학 교실에서는 다발성 뇌수막종 1예를 수술 치험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. The incidence of multiple meningiomas found prior to the introduction of CT was 1∼2%, the incidence since the introduction of CT was 8.9%. The authous report a case of multiple meningiomas without evidence of von Recklinghausen's disease. The possible presence of more than 1 tumor in an patient with an intracranial meningiomas must always be kept in mind. The pathogenetic factors related to true multiple meningiomas is unknown. We report a patient with multiple meningiomas with was confirmed by operation.

본 논문은 LED 가로등 조명의 배광 제어 설계 방법을 투과판 톱니 산 각도 및 굴절판을 이용하여 1[W]급 LED 모듈을 phtopia 로 시뮬레이션 하여 배광 곡선을 분석하였다. Lambertian Type LED와 Side Emitting Type LED를 사용하여 투과판과 굴절판을 설계하였다. 그 결과 톱니 산 각도가 40도 일때 배광각이 120도로 형성되어 가로등에서 요구되는 길이방향 배광형태가 형성됨을 확인하였다. 또한 굴절판 설계에서 Aim Point(Angle) 변화에 따라 배광이 길이방향으로 넓어지며 투과판의 형태 톱니 설계와 굴절율을 적용하여 동일한 배광 성능을 얻을 수 있었다.
과도조명으로 인한 빛공해 대책 방안과 파장변화를 고려한 최적배광설계

야간도시경관의 미적향상, 시각적 안전 확보, 광고용 등으로 설치한 조명들의 과도한 빛을 유발하여 시야 방해, 천체관측 방해 같은 현상을 일으키고 있다. 신종 공해 중 하나인 빛 공해를 천체측면에서 광주광역시의 야간경관을 분석하였다. 그 결과 빛 공해 대책으로 조명기구의 개선, 조명기구의 감광보상율에 따른 파장 변화를 고려한 배광설계를 통해 빛 공해 요소를 최소화하는 방법을 제시하고자한다. In this paper, the light pollution at night is about the urban landscape. Light pollution, improve the aesthetic, visual and so ensure the safety of existing lighting causes excessive light, visual interference means. In terms of new pollution, light pollution is one of the nightscape of the city is analyzed. In addition, part of astronomical observations are analyzed with respect to light. So the improvement of lighting in light pollution measures, lighting changes the wavelength of the light-sensitive compensation rate according to the method by considering the light distribution design is proposed.
Development of Simulation Model for Hydraulic System of Rice Transplanter using AMESim

Rice transplanter is an inevitable advanced technology in agricultural machinery sector. Nowadays, several problems like lower sustainability, brittleness are facing with existing electronic control devices applied in the hydraulic system of rice transplanters. In addition, mechanized transplanters are gradually decreasing its demand due to the technological gap with developed countries like USA, Japan, and so on. Hence, it is emergency to upgrade those mechanized technologies for the longevity of the machine using advanced electronic control devices. At present, performance evaluation of machinery is performed by simulation because of being cost-effective, time-consuming, and required lower labors. Therefore, the objectives of this study are to develop and simulate a transplanter simulation model using commercial simulation software, and optimization of the model for the quality enhancement, and finally performance evaluation of rice transplanter. The hydraulic system of rice transplanter (Yanmar YR6D) is composed of the engine, hydrostatic transmission (HST), hydraulic pump, power assisted steering mechanism, horizontal control system, and ascending/descending system. The parameters of the simulation were the input and output torque, power, and the rotational speed of hydraulic pump and motor. The simulation was performed in three conditions of the engine power like the ideal, rated, and maximum. The efficiency of the HST was determined by operating the transplanter. The engine power was calculated on the basis of the engine torque and rotational speed. All the parameters of the simulation model are considered with respect to real agricultural machinery and actual design criteria. The simulation results were performed in the simulation environment according to the hydraulic pump discharge rate. It is accounted that the highest displacement of the piston for ascending/descend and horizontal control systems were approximately 0.007 m and 0.07 m, respectively. In case of ascending/descending system, it can be noticed that actuator pressure at point 1 was slightly unstable due to the leakage coefficient of the actuator. It was also found that the efficiency of HST was about 71.82%. The simulation model was performed well under the simulation environment. In the future study, it is required to develop control algorithm for the hydraulic system of rice transplanter, and also needed field test for the validation of the model.
