Objectives:The aim of this study was to evaluate that problem solving styles, interpersonal problems, depression and suicidal ideation according to body image satisfaction. Methods:One hundred and nineteen young healthy normal subjects filled out administered the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Examination-Self Report (Korean version of BDDE-SR K-BDDE-SR), Problem Solving Style Scale(Korean version PSS), Korean Inventory of Interpersonal Problem(KIIP), Korean version of the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale(KDASS-21), Korean version of Beck Scale for Suicidal Ideation(Korean version SSI) and Korean version of Reynolds Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire(Korean version SIQ) for a month. Results:Out of the 119 subjects, 39%(N=46) was male and 61%(N=73) was female. In high K-BDDE-SR group (higher than 67), helplessness was significantly higher than low K-BDDE-SR group(lower than 67), and problem-solving confidence, creative style, approach style were significantly lower than low K-BDDE-SR group. Also, Higher level of all KIIP factors in High K-BDDE-SR group was significantly differ than low K-BDDE-SR group. In High K-BDDE-SR group, K-DASS-21, SSI, and SIQ were significantly higher than low K-BDDE-SR group. Using multiple regression analysis contributing variance toward the total factor score of K-BDDE-SR of participants were K-DASS-21 and SIQ. Conclusion:Our results indicates that high tendency of dissatisfied body images have differences in helplessness, problem-solving confidence, approach style, interpersonal problems, depression and suicidal ideation compared to low tendency of dissatisfied body images. It is necessary to study body dysmorphic disorder patients group in the future.
흰쥐에서 paraquat독성에 미치는 tumor necrosis factor-α의 영향

Background : The toxicity of paraquat is due to the oxygen-derived radicals formed by the reaction of oxygen with bipyridylium radical cations. Tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α induces the synthesis of mitochondrial manganese superoxide dismutase (Mn-SOD) and other protective proteins in a variety of tumor cells and these protein contribute to a protect tumor cells from free radical injury. In this study, the effects of TNF-α on paraquat-induced toxicity were investigated in rats. Methods : Experimental animal used was Sprague-Dawley male rat, body weight 150-200g. The paraquat toxicity was determined by survival rate. The SOD, catalse, and glutathione peroxidase(GSHPx) activity were spectrophtomerically determined by Crapo method, Aebi method and Flohe method, respectively. Results : The survival rate of paraquat-intoxicated rats was decreased by subctaneous injection of TNF-α. However, the survival rate of paraquat injected rats were increased by pretreatment of TNF-α, comparing to saline pretreatment. The liver SOD activity was increased significantly by TNF-α treatment, but kidney and lung enzyme was unaltered in TNF-α treated-rats, comparing to normal control rats. The increment of liver SOD activity by TNF-α treatment was dose- and time-dependant SOD activity of kidney and lung of rats were not changed by TNF-α injection. The activities of catalase and glutathione peroxidase and contents of thiobarbituric acid reactive substance(TBARS) in liver were not changed by TNF-α treatment. Conclusion : From these result, TNF-α potentiate paraquat toxicity in rats but TNF-α pretreatment reduce paraquat induced toxicity. Protective effect may be resulted from the increased liver SOD activities by TNF-α.

Some important macromolecules in The cells of embryogenic(E-) and non-embryogenic(NE-) calli of car-rot(Daucus carata cv. Daepooong-ochon) were quantitatively measured periodically during culture of 5 weeks on solid medium. The transfer of the callus from the MS medium with phytohormones to phytohormone-free medium induced embyroid formation at 10 days culture. And the condents of some solutes were changed dramatically at embryoid forming time. In other words, free amino acid and soluble protein contents were reached to maximum at 8th day after culture in E-callus cells. On the contrarily reducing suger content was decreased at early time leading to minimum value at 8th day on both calli imspite of the double value in E-callus comparing with Ne-callus at that time. The higher con-tents of sugars in E-callus may contributed by energy budgets needed to initiate embryoid formation. The activity of peroxidase and its specific activity was higher in E-callus than NE-callus at embryoid forming time and DNA content was steadly increased during that time. RNA content also was increased to reach peak at 16th day in NE-callus, at 24th day in E-callus. After that, the content was decreased to the original levels. In conclusion, the metabolism in the parenchyma cells may be changed dramatically in order to initiate the embryoid formation.

In this paper we describes a next generation electronic security-light and street-light that is controlled remotely by the pager system. Especially, the time in the system is equal to current time. The used protocol is POCSAG(Post Office Code Standardization Advisory Group). Because PSTN is applied practically in the developmented system, we improve a communication quality and minimize to equipment investment. We can minimize the manufacturing cost and the development cost in the manufacturing of light control system.

In this paper, we have studied continuous parallax two-dimensional(2D) image composition by use of elemental images which are picked up in integral imaging system. The 2D image composition method has been analyzed in terms of geometrical optics, and extended to the orthoscopic reconstruction. From the proposed composition method, it has been shown that the 2D image can be composed with arbitrary perspective and focus.
