      • 대학무용수의 사회적 지지와 스트레스 대처 방식에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to diagnose the relation among the type of dance major, social backup and stress coping behavior. To achieve the purpose, 232 dance majors from 5 universities in Seoul and metropolitan area were random-sampled. To rate social backup, Interpersonal Relations Perception Questionnaire used by Cohen and Hoberman in 1983 was used. To rate coping behavior on stress, The Ways of Coping Checkiist developed by Folkman and Lazarus in 1985 and translated and standardized by Kim, Jung-hee and Lee, Jang-ho in 1985 was used. For data process, One-way Analysis of Variance and Multiple Regression Model was used. Through these research tool and process, the result as follows were achieved. First, there were partial difference in social backup and stress coping behavior according to demographic variabies. Referring to social backup, the group with higher standard of knowledge generally showed more positive perception of social backup and the group with higher income discerned higher feelings of belonging. Referring to the religion, feeling of belonging to Christianity or Buddhism were higher than that of Catholic or pagan On the matter of stress coping behaviour, the higher grade the group was, the more stress coping behavior were shown and, in many cases, it was problem oriented coping behavior. This tendency is similar according to the amount of income. According to the type of religion, in many cases, probiem-oriented coping behavior and social backup seeking behavior were shown. Second, the more positively the dancer recognize of the dance major activity and the more highly recognize social backup, the more various types of stress coping behavior occurred except for coping behavior with wishful thinking.

      • 태산반석산이 면역기능에 미치는 영향

        To invesitigate the immunoadjuvant effect of Taesanbanseok-san(TBS), TBS was pretreated to Ballb/c mice for 10 days with intraperitioneally. After 10 days, haptenic antigen (VCR-BSA, vincristine-bovine serum albumin) complexed with Freund's complete adjuvant was immunized. The results are as follows. The antibody production in Balb/c mouse immunized with VCR-BSA was markably increased in the pretreated group of TBS compared with saline treated(control) group. The number of macrophage in Balb/c mouse immunized with VCR-BSA was considerably increased about 2.3 times in the pretreated group of TBS compared with control group. The lysozyme activity of macrophage in Balb/c mouse that was immunized with VCR-BSA was increased gradually in the pretreated groups of TBS compared with control group. In the TBS pretreated group, B cell proliferation was increased with a dose dependent manner. At the concentration of twenty microliter/well of TBS, B cell proliferation activity was most highest. On the other hand, in the T proliferation, TBS pretreated group had less considerable activity than B cell proliferation. These results may suggest that TBS will have immunoadjuvant effects on the cells which concerned with immuno mechanism.

        환기정도에 따른 수술실용 신발 종류가 수술실 오염에 미치는 영향 : How to Choose Suitable Shoes?

        Background : Various types of protective footwear have been used to minimize bacterial contamination in operating rooms. In recent years, debate has arisen concerning the need for use of such protective footwear. This study was designed to provide useful data about choosing shoes most suitable for the surgical environment. Methods : Between November, 1999 and January, 2000, we performed this experimental study by comparing effect of three types of shoes (i.e., disposable shoescover, operating room-restricted shoes, and ordinary shoes) on bacterial contamination of operating rooms equipped with two different ventilation systems (i.e., high air-change, low air-change) respectively. Data were collected during two-hour sham operations in which subjects and their activities were strictly standardized. Bacterial flora were sampled from the study area floor and air colony-counts were measured. Results : In experiments involving high air-change ventilation system, there was a significant difference of floor contamination between three types of shoes, but no difference of air contamination. Under low air-change system, there was a significant difference of both floor and air contamination between three types of shoes. Conclusion : The results show that protective footwear would be unnecessary in the operating room with high air-change ventilation system, but it is important to choose suitable shoes carefully under low air-change system. Therefore, the use of outdoor shoes can be considered under high air-change system, but it would seem sensible to apply their first use in less bloody operations at the day surgery center or out-patient department to prevent transfer of body fluid into the outside environment.

        유자차 부산물을 이용한 유자 과편의 최적화 연구

        This study was performed to develop a standardized recipe for yuza pyun made of citron juice that is by-product of citron tea, to increase the utilization of citron. The effects of mungbean starch(15%, 18%) and dilution ratio of yuza extract(100%, 75%, 50%) on the quality characteristics were evaluated. The quality characteristics of the samples were estimated in terms of sweetness, color difference, texture profile analysis and sensory evaluation. Sweetness of the 18% mungbean groups were higher than 15% groups(p<0.001). The values of Hunter color system indicated that higher content of yuza extract tended to increase yellowness significantly(p<0.001). Texture profiles of hardness, adhesiveness, springiness, cohesiveness, gumminess of yuzapyun showed no significant differences among samples. For sensory evaluation, color and sourness were decreased as yuza extract was diluted, whereas elasticity and sweetness were increased. Yuza pyun containing 18% of mungbean starch with 50% diluted extract was the most preferred in overall acceptability. According to multiple regression analysis, color, sweetness, elasticity and sourness(in order) were important control factors in overall acceptability.

        진행된 HIV 감염 환자에서 십이지장의 미란성 병변으로 발현한 Mycobacterium genavense 감염 1예

        Mycobacterium genauense는 최근에 알려진 미코박테륨으로서, 식욕 부진, 체중 감소, 설사, 림프절 병증 등 파종성 Myocobacterium avium-intracellulare complex 감염과 유사한 임상상을 보이며, 위장관 침범을 잘 하는 것으로 알려져 있으나 아직 국내에서 증례는 보고된 바가 없다. 저자들은 진행된 HIV 감염 환자에서 십이지장의 미란성 병변으로 발현한 Mycobacterium genavense 감염 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. 환자는 상복부 동통과 발열, 설사로 내원하였다. 십이지장의 미란성 병변에서 시행한 조직검사에서 항산균이 가득 차있는 거품세포가 관찰되었으며, 이 검체에서 16S rRNA 유전자의 중합연쇄반응 검사를 시행하여 Mycobacterium genavense를 확인하였다. Mycobacterium genavense, first identified in 1990, is known as a pathogen that mimics disseminated Myocobacterium avium-intracellulare complex (MAC) infection with particular propensity for the gastrointestinal tract. In Korea, no case with the organism has been reported. Herein we report a case of Mycobacterium genavense infection that manifested with erosive lesion of duodenum in a patient with acquired immune deficiency syndrome. The patient presented with epigastric pain and fever, diarrhea. Duodenal biopsy showed histiocytic infiltration with numerous acid-fast bacilli. Identification of the mycobacterial isolate by the polymerase chain reaction restriction analysis of 16S rRNA gene revealed Mycobacterium genavense.

        과일즙 및 발효 포도즙의 페놀성 화합물 함량과 항산화 활성

        Some selected fruit juices and fermented red grape juices were investigated to determine the phenolic components by the Folin-Ciocalteu method and antioxidant capacity using α-α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH) method. Commercial red grape beverages and red wines were also analyzed as control groups. In the juice, kiwi fruit had the highest phenolic components followed by orange(summer), red grape(Cambell Early:Yong-Chun), mandarin orange (autumn), apple(Hong-Ok), cherry tomato, tomato and water melon. Whereas, on the antioxidant efficiency, tomato showed the highest free radical scavenging effect followed by orange(summer), cherry tomato, mandarin orange(autumn), apple(Aori) red grape(Cambell Early:Sung-Ju), kiwi fruit and water melon. The amount of pheonlic components of red wine was 2 times of that of fermented sugar added grape juice, however, the antioxidant efficiency of fermented sugar added grape juice was almost the same as that of red wine. It was found that no clear relationship could be shown between the content of phenolic component and antioxidant capacity of fruit juices and fermented red grape juices. The fruit juices from tomato, orange, cherry tomato, mandarin orange, red grape and fermented sugar added red grape juice showed high free radical scavenging effect and should be regarded as a valuable source of antioxidant.

        뉴질랜드의 종자품질관리체계와 향후 우리나라의 품질관리 개선 방향

        뉴질랜드의 종자산업은 종자개량, 품종보호, 종자생산, 종자검사, 종자보증 및 종자교역 등 여러분야의 연구와 실무를 통하여 종자품질관리에 선구적 입장을 유지하여 왔으며 신품종의 개발과 합리적인 증식 및 관리체계를 통하여 양질의 종자공급능력을 발전시켜 왔다. 1970 년대 이전까지는 품종개량 및 종자품질관리는 정부주도로 이루어졌으나 현재는 정부가 직접적인 관여에서 점차 간접적인 위임형태로 바꾸어 종자품질관리 관련 업무 일부만 남기고 모두 민영화가 추진되었다. 위임받은 업무에 대한 책임은 위임받은 조직이 지며 정부는 품질관리 체계를 정기적으로 감독하고 감시하는 자세로 전환하였다. 이와 같은 변화에 따라 종자품질관리체계의 하부조직은 대부분 독립적인 예산체계를 구축하였고 업무도 좀 더 독립성을 갖게 되는 효과를 보았다. 그러나 계속적인 정부 지원의 절감과 새로운 조직의 지나친 상업적 운영은 전문인력이 점차적인 감소와 연구개발활동의 축소라는 부작용도 있다. 우리나라의 종자산업발전을 위하여 공공기관이나 민간종묘회사 어느 쪽이든 품종개량과 종자품질관리활동이 활발하게 이루어져야 할 것임은 말할 것도 없다. 그러나 앞으로 국내 종자시장의 변화나 재정적인 이유로 품종개량과 종자품질관리체계에 어떤 개선이 요구된다면 뉴질랜드가 재정적인 동기에서 도출하였던 공공기관의 기능과 역할의 분담조정, 인력의 조직화와 민간종묘회사의 참여방식 및 종자의 상품화 체계구축 등 선험적 체계가 다소라도 참고가 되지 않을까 생각된다. New Zealand has developed a very efficient seed quality control scheme. In New Zealand, cultivars are now developed under contract to the CDMU(Cultivar Development and Maintenance Unit) of AgResearch(NZ Pastoral Agriculture Research Institute Limited). MAF (Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry) is empowered to provide seed certification services, and the scheme is administered by MAF Quality Management using procedures that are in accordance with OECD standards. New Zealand has no seed laws and participation in the seed production industry is entirely voluntary. although participants must adhere strictly to the rules and procedures involved. National Seed Laboratory (NSL) has played a central role in prividing seed quality assessment. Recently all sectors of the seed industry in New Zealand have been reformed and become more commercialized with users-pay policy. The services have been affected by moves to reduce government involvement in its affair and to eliminate government subsidies. However, this has led to reduction of research activities and personnel in seed technology. The future directions of seed quality control system in Korea could refer to New Zealand scheme.

        In present day, components of Artemisiae Carpillaris Herba(A.C.H) was investigated by HPLC method. On condition of ODS-10column, 25% acetonitrile for mobile phase, 254nm of UV Detector, the extracts of A.C.H was analyzed. As the result, peaks of coumarin derivatives, at retention time 2.16 and 2.18, were found.

      • 당귀의 품질평가법에 관한 연구

        Angelicae gigantis radix is the root of the perennial plant, which belongs to family Umbelliferae. However, this herbal drug has quite different chemical components according to its different geographical origin though other herbal drugs (i.e. Leonuri Herba, Xanthii Fructus and so on) show similar major constituents. In other word, the root of Angelica gigas containing the coumarin compounds is commonly used in Korea as Angelicae gigantis radix, while Angelica sinensis and Angelica acutiloba including phthalide compounds are used in China and Japan, respectively. In this paper, Near-Infrared spectroscopy was developed to determine Genus name of Angelica spp., especially Angelica gigas and Angelica sinensis which are generally misused in the herbal market. Also X-ray fluorescence spectrometry was evaluated to analyze the differences between Angelica gigas and Angelica sinensis with their specific properties.

      • 흡수율을 고려한 폴리아미드의 절삭조건에 관한 연구

        Nowadays, new and improved plastic materials are being produced due to advancements in the production of composite chemicals. The increased use of these materials has led to the study of new and improved cutting methods. These composite materials consist mainly of nylon resin. There are five types of nylon resin: nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 12, nylon 46, and MC nylon. Nylon resin is usually molded during production, but the molding of nylon resin results in less accurate measurements. Because of this inaccuracy, the nylon resin must be cut using optimum cutting methods. One major concern, however, is that nylon resin is very sensitive to heat and water absorption. Sumner heat and humidity can cause the deformation of nylon resin and result in inaccuracy during production. In this paper, then I will study the resistance force surface roughness of MC nylon which has absorbed water.
