Naled was determined by potentiometric titration and Volhard's indirect method, observing the effects of electrode, alkali concentration and hydrolysis time. Determi-nation of Naled was done potentiometrically using the Pt-glass electrode after hydro-lysis the sam[le for 30 minutes with IN·KOH-EtOH solution.

2, 3; 5,6-di-O-isopropylidene-α-D -mannofuranose(ManA) were oxidized to their cor-responding 2, 3;5,6-di-O-isoprolylidene-α-D-manno-1.4-lactone(ManB) using calcium chlorite as oxidant in a phase transfer catalysis system. But identified results were not obvious. V_2O_5 catalzed oxidation of primary and secondary alcohols to aldehydes and ketones respectively at alkali conditions under Solod-Liquid phase transfer conditions. This reaction affords good overall yields of products without formation of undersirable.

Nitrofurazone in exsiting method is determined by measuring absorbance in 375nm. This method is anxious about inhibition of 5-NO_2-furaldehyde derivatives and inconvenience of procedure. So we studied new determination method with shift of U.V maximum absorbance wavelength in alkali. 1. The shift of absorbance to a longer wavelength was extreamly in DMF, ethanol. 2. DMF-NF solution appeared constant absorbance in KOH concentration between 2.8 and 14×10^-3mole/l. EtOH-NF solution appeared constant absorbance in KOH concentration between 2.5 and 5×10^-2mole/l So this KOH concentration can be used determination of Nitrofurazone.

Scrophularia buergeriana Miguel(Scrophulariaceae) is a perennial herb growing in all parts of Korea. It has been used as a Korean folk medicine in treating guttural diseases acting as an antiphlogistics, antipyretics and analgesics. Phytosterol was isolated from the radix of this plant and identified to be a mixture of stigmasteril, fucosterol, campesteril, β- and γ- sitosterol on the basis of physicochemical and spectroscopic methods.

In present day, components of Artemisiae Carpillaris Herba(A.C.H) was investigated by HPLC method. On condition of ODS-10column, 25% acetonitrile for mobile phase, 254nm of UV Detector, the extracts of A.C.H was analyzed. As the result, peaks of coumarin derivatives, at retention time 2.16 and 2.18, were found.

The effect of Carbontetrachloride administration on Lactatedehydrogenase isozyme patterns were analyzed by cellulose acetate electrophoresis for the brain, heart, kidney, lung, liver and mouse muscle. Each other tissue was found to have a characteristic distribution of these isozymes. At normal condition, aerobic tissue such as brain, heart, kidney, and lung were found to have all five isozymes from LDH_1 to LDH_5, while anaerobic tissues such as liver and muscle were found to have superiorly LDH_5 The toxicity of Carbontetrachloride administration was most prominence in the liver, and lung toxicity was occured also.
Nitrone Cyclization을 위한 중간체 합성에 관한 연구

2, 3-Dihydropyran is opened by hydrolysis in the presence of hydrochloric acid to afford 5-hydroxypentanal. According to Wittig reaction, 5-hydroxypentanal is reacted with potassium tert-butoxide and triethylphosphonoacetate in tetrahydrofuran to give ethyl 7-hydroxy-2-en-heptanoate. And oxidation of the alcoholic group of that compound gives aldehyde(ethyl 7-oxo-2-en-heptanoate). This aldelyde is reacted with hydroxylamine·hydrochloride in pyridine to make an oxime. And this oxime is reacted with potassium carbonate or zinc chloride or pyridine in methylene chloride. But this intramolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of nitrone is not successful. The structure of synthesized compounds was identified with IR and NMR spectra.

Streptozotocin was injected to rats to induce the experimental diabetes mellitus. In order to find out the effect of diabetic treatment by experimental method, Palmiwon and Gliclazide were administrated to observe the change of blood sugar, body weight, the weight of organ and alkaline phosphatase. And thus, the result was as follows. 1. The blood sugar level of diabetic rat was decreased after administration of Palmiwon with Gliclazide. 2. Body weight of diabetic rats was decreased after administration of Palmiwon with Gliclazide. 3. The levels of kidney alkaline phosphatase were recovered by administration of Palmiwon with Gliclazide.
식용유의 산화 억제 효과에 관한 연구 : 식용유 산패에 대한 BHA와 Tocopherol의 항산화력 비교 연구

In present day, the effect of antioxidation was compared under the storage conditions and concentration, in order to investigate the changes of free fatty acid value, Iodine value, carbonyl value. Peroxide value and TBA value in the soy bean oil added BHA and Tocopherol which is used for food oils and fats as antioxidants. The result are as follows. 1) It was found to be most stable against oxidation to store condition of completely shut off air sunlight and low temperature. 2) Effect of antioxidation was most effective in high concentration. 3) Antioxidative effects were stronger Tocopherol than BHA.
