      • 컬러모니터의 색상선호도 평가방법에 관한 연구

        This study investigated the evaluation method for the users`` color preference of CRT monitors. And also the users`` preference of the colors displayed on CRT monitor using the park``s color reproduction system was evaluated. Subjects conducted a series of psychophysical experiments to compare the colors displayed on a CRT monitor using the park``s system to the colors without the system, Three evaluation methods were investigated: comparing one colors of same hue with diverse luminance and saturation. the results showed that subjects preferred the colors reproduced using the park``s system, and thd evaluation methods significantly affected thd color preference.

      • 고정식 교정 환자에서 전동치솔 효과에 관한 연구

        Patients with fixed orthodontic appliances frequently have increased levels of plaque accumulation leading to the possibility of gingivitis or enamel decalcification. Although many methods may be helpful in reducing dental plaque formation, optimal mechanical removal of plaque is tile most important factor during orthodontic treatment. The porpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of'an electric toothbrush, with a specially designed orthodontic brush head. compared with a manual toothbrush in controlling plaque and gingivitis for patients with fixed orthodontic appliances. Oral hygiene status was measured in thirty four patients, using a plaquc index, a gingival index and a bleeding index. before and four weeks after attachment of fixed orthodontic appliances. Patients were randomly divided into two groups, the electric and the manual toothbrush groups. Oral hygiene instruction was given according to the type of toothbrush used. The Braun Oral-B D9511 with Braun Oral-B Ortho OD 15-1 brush head was used as the electric toothbrush while the Butler G.U. M 124 was given as the manual toothbrush. After 4 weeks and 8 weeks, oral hygiene status was measured again. Through the comparison berween the electric and the manual toothbrush grpups. following results were obtained. 1. All oral hygiene indices showed increasing tendency after 4weeks of fixed orthodontic appliances. 2. All indices presented decreasing tendency four and eight weeks after oral hygiene instruction. 3. In case of gingival index and bleeding index. decreasing tendency did not show a statistically significant difference between the electric and the manual toothbrush groups. 4. The decreasing tendency of plaque index presented statistically significant difference between the two groups. showing that the electric toothbrush was more effective in terms of oral hygiene. These findings suggest that an electric toothbrush is useful to the orthodontic patients with fixed appliances.

        들깨 유전자원의 단백질함량과 지방 및 지방산 특성

        공시된 들깨 지방재래종 90개 품종의 단백질함량, 지방 및 지방산을 분석한 결과 다음과 같다. 1. 숙기별로는 중ㆍ만생종의 평균단백질 함량은 22.4%로 비교적 낮았고, 품종분포가 대부분 평균치에 가까웠으며, 조생종은 평균단백질 함량이 24.1%로 비교적 높았다. 2. 평균단백질함량은 소립종(천립중3.0~4.0g이하)이 23.0%로, 중립종(천립중 4.0~5.0g)이나 대립종(천립중 5.0~6.0g)의 22.1%보다 높은 경향이었다. 3. 기름함량은 조생종이 42.6%로 가장 적었고, 중생종이 44.5%, 만생종이 45.5%로 기름함량이 많았으며, 립중별로는 소립종이 44.2%, 중립종이 43.1%, 대립종이 41.5% 대립종일수록 낮은 경향이었다. 4. 지방산조성은 숙기가 늦어짐에 따라 Oleic acid와 Linolenic acid는 다소 많았고, Linoleic acid는 적어지는 경향이었다. Linoleic acid는 극대립종에서 15.5%로 가장 높았고 립중이 가벼울수록 높아지는 경향이었다. 5. 기름함량과 지방산 비율간의 상관 정도를 보면 기름함량과 Palmitic acid, Linoleic acid는 負의 상관이나, Stearic acid, Linolenic acid는 正의 상관을 보였다. Stearic acid는 Oleic acid와 유의적인 정의 상관을 , Linoleic acid와는 부의 상관을 보였다. Oleic acid는 Linoleic acid 및 Linolenic acid와 고도로 유의한 부의 상관을, Linoleic acid는 Linolenic acid와, 포화지방산은 불포화지방산과 유의한 부의 상관을 보였다. Korean local collected strains or varieties of perilla analyzed on their protein and oil content and fatty acids composition in the seed. The strains analyzed were 90 of which grown in the experimental field of Chungbuk Agricultural Research and Extension Services at Cheongwon and Umseong from 2001 to 2002. The seed protein contents of 90 perilla varieties ranged from 19.1% to 29.0% and the average content was 22.8%. There differed by the seed coat color showing 1.9% higher content in light gray than that of dark brown, which may suggest that the seed coat color could be used as a marker gene for breeding high protein varieties. Oil content of medium and late varieties in maturity showed higher as compared to early varieties, and appeared differences by seed coat color, and small seed varieties showed higher seed oil content than in large seed varieties by seed size. Linoleic and linolenic acid content of which major fatty acids in perilla seed were 74.4% in average of tested varieties. Fatty acid composition of perilla varieties were not significantly different by maturity, seed coat color and 1,000 seed weight. Oil content showed high positive correlation, with stearic and linolenic acids and negative correlation with linoleic acid.

      • 肥育牛의 濃厚飼料에 對한 香味素의 添加가 飼料의 攝取量, 增體量 및 飼料利用率에 미치는 效果

        To investigate the effect of supplementing feed flavor in the beef rations containing urea on concentrate consumption, body weight gain and the efficiency of concentrate utilization two feeding experiments were conducted. Ten Holstein steers weighing 230-250㎏ were divided into groups and fed the control and the urea containing ration in the first trial for 50 days, then the feed flavor supplementing trial was followed for 136 days. Using urea at the level of 1.6% significantly(P<0.05) decreased both concentrate intake(5.37 vs 5.02㎏/day) and body weight gain(1.05 vs 0.93㎏/day). When the feed flaver (Aromastat for 61 days and followed by Beef-Feednectar for 75 days) was supplemented, it significantly(P<0.05) increased both the concentrate intake(7.90 vs 8.54㎏/day) and body weight gain(1.35 vs 1.47㎏/day). The efficiency of concentrate utilization was also improved but it was not statistically significant. Based on the results of the feeding trial, it is concluded that supplementing feed flavor in the ration containing urea improves feed consumption and growth of beef cattle.

        To obtain the spectral characteristics of a color monitor, we measured the spectral radiance curves of phosphors vs. digital values experimentally. The relationship between digital values and luminances is not linear. To predict the digital values needed to display specific colors, we presented a model using maximum and averaged values of each curve.

        This study was conducted to examine the nitrogen effects on the uptaken amounts and utilization of mineral nutrients between source and sink tissues at major growth stages before and after the flowering stage with different nitrogen levels Hwangkeum cultivar(Glycine max L Mereill) was cultivated under five different mtrogen levels, 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 N kg/10a Comparing contents of total-N with different plant tissues at major growth stages before and after the flowering, total-N contents of leaves was gradually decreased from the flowering to the beginning maturity, while it of pod was continuously increased from the full seed to the beginning maturity Total-N content was higher in the treatment of 4 N Kg/10a that those of others The uptaken amount of N determined with different growth stage was rapidly increased maturity Higher proportion of uptaken N were into the leaves at the full seed stage, and they were transported from the leaves into pod at the beginning maturity stage Comparing major mineral elements of the leaves and the pod with different N leaves, in case of the leaves, the content of Fe, Mn, and Zn was decreased throughout the growth stages, whereas the content of Ca and Mg was decreased from the flowering to the full seed and then it was increased after the full seed stage In case of pod, the content of K, Fe, Mn, Zn, and Na was decreased from the flowering to the beginning maturity, while contest of Mg was increased.

        We proposed a color calibration algorithm by considering spectral characteristic of the chosen color reproduction system which can be applied to device independent using characteristic vectors of surface reflectance. To evaluate color reproducing characteristics we applied the proposed color calibration algorithm by choosing the color of Macbeth ColorChecker's twenty four as a test color set.
