The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the second year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows; - differential diagnosis according to condition of body fluid, differentiation of syndromes according to the state of qi and blood, differential diagnosis according to relative excessiveness or deficiency of yin and yang(氣血陰陽津液辨證) - differentiation of diseases according to pathological changes of the viscera and their interrelation - analyzing and differentiating of febrile diseases in accordance with the theory of the six channels(傷寒辨證) The individual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name(異名), notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs(辨證指標), the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern(證候分析), discrimination of diagnosis pattern(證候鑑別), a way of curing a diseases(治法), prescription(處方), herb in common use(常用藥物), diseases appearing the diagnosis pattern(常見疾病), documents(文獻調査). This study was carried out on the basis of the Chinese documents and references.
역류식 충진탑에서 수력학적인 분석과 이산화탄소의 탈착에 관한 연구

This study was carried out to interpret hydraulic behavior and CO₂gas desorption in countercurrent packing tower which packed 50 mm plastic Hiflow-ring. The results are as follows: 1. To compare with conventional packing, 50mm Hiflow-ring could save energy because of low pressure drop under high load. 2. As relative error between calculated value and investigated value was less than 6% in the loading point and flooding point we found that we can predict results mathematically which occurres in the packing tower. 3. The unique magnituteds of packing which was used are as follows. C_(L) = 2.1×10^(-4), n = 0.787 so we can predict efficency which occurres.

Background and Objectives . Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common cause of the dementia Pathologic and functional changes of AD are known to be unevenly distributed in the brain. This study investigates changes of cerebral blood flow (CBF) in patients with AD to determine brain regions with hypoperfusion that reflects progression of disease. Methods. Tc-99m-ECD single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) was performed to measure regional CBF and statistical parametric mapping (SPM) 99 soft ware was used for the automated and objective approach to analyze SPECT image data. Twenty-five patients with mild to moderate dementia who met NINCDS-ADRDA critena for AD (male 11 female 14) and 17 age-matched normal control subjects were studied. The severity of AD was measured by clinical dementia rating (CDR) scale Results. SPM analysis of SPECT images revealed that CBF in the anterior cingulate gyrus left superior panetal cortex left medial frontal cortex left infenor temporal cortex. right thalamus and left hippocampus was significantly decreased in AD patients compared with normal controls (corrected p<0.05). The reduction of CBF according to CDR was localized in the left hippocampus and infenor temporal cortex right antenor and postenor ciagulate cortex and right superior panetal cortex (uncorrected p<0.01). Conclusions : Our data suggest that the cognitive dysfunction of AD is strongly related with functional abnormality in discrete brain areas 99m-Tc ECD SPECT with SPM analysis could be used as a useful functional imaging tool in AD study.

This research suggests service-infrastructure for a diagnosis and a prescription of oriental medicine in ubiquitous environment. A pulse is very important as a basic raw material in the field of oriental medicine. So, this research designs service-infrastructure making use of not a position information that is suggested previous but a pulse context information. A processing of a pulse-diagnosis system is proceeding like that is inputted a signal of user's pulse, diagnose and prescript through the analyzing and inferring that signal. A created signal is classified into 6, 'Bu, Chim, Ji, Sak, Heo, Sil', and they are classified into more specific items about each pulse. A classified pulse combines with another pulse and is possible for a diagnosis and inference of new symptoms. This research defines this model as OMPD-CAM(Oriental Medicine Pulse Diagnosis Context Aware Middleware), and designs a pulse context aware middleware.

Recently, much research have been done on ubiquitous computing models in advanced countries as well as in Korea. Ubiquitous computing is defined as a computing environment that isn't bounded by time and space. Different kinds of computers are embedded in artifacts, devices, and environment, thus people can be connected everywhere and everytime. To recognize user's emotion, facial expression, temperature, humidity, weather, and lightning factors are used and ontology is built using those. Ontology Web Language (OWL) is adopted to implement ontology and Jena is used as an emotional inference engine. The context-awareness service infrastructure suggested in this research can be divided into several modules by their functions.

Background: Subcortical vascular dementia(SVaD) is relatively homogeneous subtype of VaD, but the mechanisms of cognitive dysfunction of subcortical VaD are not completely understood yet This study investigated the changes of cerebral blood flow(CBF) in patients with SVaD and the contribution of the white matter hyperintensity(WMHI) and clinical severity to CBF changes. Methods: 99mTc-ethyl cysteinate dimer single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT) was performed to measure the regional CBF and statistical parametric mapping(SPM)99 software was applicated to automated and objective analysis of the SPECT image data Twenty three patients (male 12, female 11) of mild to moderate dementia who met both the criteria of the DSM-IV and probable or possible NINDS-AIREN for VaD and have subcortical white matter changes and lacunar infarction on brain MRI and seventeen normal control subjects (male 7, female 10) were evaluated The severity of the WMHI was measured by semi-quantitative scale method proposed by Mantyla. The seventy of dementia was measured by clinical dementia rating (CDR) scale Results: SPM analysis of SPECT image revealed significantly reduced regional CBF in the right thalamus, left caudatd nucleus, cingulate, bilateral superior temporal, and left ventral subcallosal gyri in SVaD patients when it compared to normal controls (corrected p<0 001). Among four WMHIs, only the WMHI was associated with the small CBF reduction in the left superior temporal gyrus (uncorrected p<0 01) The reduction of CBF according to the severity of dementia was noted in the anterior and posterior association areas (uncorrected p<0 01). Conclusions: our study suggests that cognitive dysfunction of SVaD may be related with CBF reduction in the above mentioned brain areas, which probable are not associated with the severity of periventncular WMHI and dementia.

In the time when we fabricated the NPH bipolar transistor the temperature annealing was needed. Then the properties of transistor was damaged because of inducing the silicon lattice defects. In this paper, proposed codiffusion method was able to control of junction depth by implant energy, dose concentration, diffusing temperature and annealing time control. In addition to, we studied for developed the transistor of high speed switching.

The purpose of this study was to analyze kinematically the Golf swing motion. For the purpose of this 10 subjects were employed in this study. Among the subjects, five of them were skilled golfers with single handicapped and the rest of them were unskilled players with about 1 year of experience. They are all right handed. The subjects were asked to do golf swing with three different clubs, PW, 5-iron, and Driver. The motions were filmed using 4 Panasonic D5100 video cameras and AMTI force plate was used to collect ground reaction forces during the swing motion at 50Hz. Each subject made five swing motion and two of them were selected for analysis. The results obtained from the study were as follows; 1. Looking at the general patterns of golf swing, unskilled golfers showed shorter follow through, which could have influence the distance of the ball 2. The movements of body segments in skilled golfers tended to be more effective than those in unskilled golfers. Especially the movements of elbow joint is quite different from each other. 3. Based upon the data of center of pressure of the subjects, skilled golfers showed more reliable and balanced distribution than that of unskilled golfers. There were also significant differences among the lengths of golf clubs, i.e., short iron, middle iron and driver. 4. The subjects displayed the significant difference in the length of center of pressure and area of center of pressure between groups and clubs. The longer the clubs are the larger the values are. Also, skilled golfers had smaller measurements.
