        항균성 펩타이드인 Mastoparan B의 살조효과

        Mastoparan B (MPB)는 벌독으로부터 정제된 양친매성α-helical 구조를 취하면서 14개의 아미노산 잔기로 구성된 염기성 항균성 펩타이드로서 여러 가지 생물막과 작용한다. 본 연구에서는 우리 나라 연안의 적조 (HABs, harmful algal blooms)를 일으키는 4종의 적조생물 (Alexandrium tamarense, Chattonella catenatum)에 대한 MPB의 살조효과를 조사하였다. MPB의 4종의 적조생물에 대한 살조효과는 31.3㎍/㎖에서 세포의 lysis또는 ecdysis와 같은 형태로 현미경으로 관찰할 수 있었다. 또한 MPB는 C. marina 및 C. polykridorides에 대해서 A. tamarense와 G. catenatum보다 더욱 강한 살조효과를 나타내었다. 이러한 MPB의 HABs에 대한 살조효과연구는 새로운 살조물질을 개발하기 위한 자료가 될 것으로 생각된다. Mastoparan B (MPB), an antimicrobial cationic peptide isolated from the venom of the hornet Vespa basalis, is a basic amphipathic a-helical peptide composed of fourteen amino acid residues. In this study, we have investigated the algicidal effect of MPB against hatmful algae blooms (HABs) casative Alexandrium tamarense, Chattonella marina, Cochlodinium polykrikoides and Gymnodinium catenatum. The algicidal effect of MPB showed in the concentration of 31.3 ㎍/㎖ to 500 ㎍/㎖ against 4 HAB species and observed cell lysis or cell ecdysis by microscopy. MPB reacted more sensitive to C. marina and C.polykrikoides than A. tamarense and G. catenatum. The algicidal study of MPB against HABs will provides much insight into development of new algicidal substances.

        교잡종 찰옥수수에 대한 연구 III : Ⅲ. 국내 옥수수 유전자원 수집종에 대한 주요 특성 분포

        2006년 국내 각 지역으로부터 수집된 재래종옥수수 유전자원을 관행방법에 의해 파종하고 주요특성별로 분포도를 살펴본 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 수집된 유전자원에 대한 발아율은 대부분 80∼100%이상의 분포를 보였으나, 일부 수집계통에는 30% 미만의 극히 저조한 발아율을 보였다. 2. 수집자원에 대한 초기생육을 살펴보면 극히 생육이 저조한 것이 40% 정도를 보였고, 극히 우수한 자원은 3%미만으로 나타났다. 3. 간장은 대부분이 150∼199cm범위에 55%가 분포하고 있었으나, l00cm이하가 5%, 250cm이상이 8%로 나타나 수집종간에 큰 차이를 보였다. 4. 주당 분얼수는 1개 미만이 40%의 분포를 보였으나, 일부 수집종에서 2 내지 3개의 분얼수를 보이는 계통이 확인되었다. 5. 개화소요일수는 61∼64일의 범위에서 40%, 57∼60일의 범위에서 30%의 분포를 보였으며, 특히 일부 수집종의 경우 55일 이하의 극조생종도 10% 정도의 분포를 보였다. 6. 이삭길이는 대부분 11∼15cm범위에 60%가 포함되어 있으나, 일부계통에서 5cm미만이 2%, 16∼20cm의 이삭길이도 10%가 분포하였다. Germination ratio on the 300 collected genetic resources showed 80 to 100 percentage, but those of some accessions were very low as below 30 percentage. Early growth phase of most of these lines were very poor while some collected lines were very vigor. Range of stem height showed from 150 to 199cm, but that of some accessions showed below 100cm as five percentage and some of them was over 250cm as eight percentage. Number of tillers per plant appeared less one but some collected lines have two to three tillers per plant. In days to tasseling, some accessions showed more four per plant. Ear length of these accession showed above 60 percentage as 11 to 15cm, while that of some collected lines showed over 10 percentage as 16 to 20cm.

      • Systematic Review of Heavy Metal Concentrations in Fish and Shellfish in Korea

        Objectives: Heavy metals ingested through the consumption of aquatic products can accumulate in the human body over the long-term and cause various health problems. This study aims to present comprehensive data on the amount of heavy metals found in fish and shellfish in Korea using a systematic review of studies that report on that issue. Methods: The study used the following databases: PubMed, Korean Studies Information Service System, and Research Information Sharing Service. The search terms for PubMed included fish OR shellfish OR seafood AND mercury OR cadmium OR lead OR heavy metal AND Korea. The search terms for Korean Studies Information Service System and Research Information Sharing Service included eoryu sueun, eoryu kadeumyum, eoryu nab, eoryu jung-geumsog, paeryu sueun, paeryu kadeumyum, paeryu nab, paeryu jung-geumsog, eopaeryu sueun, eopaeryu kadeumyum, eopaeryu nab, and eopaeryu jung-geumsog. Results: A total of 32 articles were selected for review. The total mercury, lead, and cadmium concentrations in fish and shellfish reported in each of the articles are summarized, as are the species of fish and shellfish with relatively high concentrations of heavy metals. Total mercury concentrations tended to be higher in predatory fish species, such as sharks, billfishes, and tuna, while lead and cadmium concentrations tended to be higher in shellfish. Conclusion: This paper is the first to report a comprehensive summary of the concentrations of heavy metals in fish and shellfish. This data could be used as evidence to protect Koreans from exposure to heavy metals due to the consumption of highly polluted aquatic products.

      • Nortropinone 유도체로부터 Nortropane Spirohydantoin 유도체의 합성

        The nortropinones 11 (tropinone lla, N-isopropylnortropinone 11b, N-Carbethoxynortropinone 11c, N-furfurylnortropinone 11d, N-(p-methoxyphenyl)nortropinone 11e) were respectively synthesized by the treatment of acetonedicarboxylic acid 8 with, 2, 5-dimethoxytetrahydrofurane 9 in various amines 10 (methylamine 10a, N-isopropylamine 10b, ethylcarbamate 10c, furfurylamine 10d, p-anisidine 10e). The nortropane spirohydantoins 14 (tropane spirohydanttoin 14a, N-isopropylnortropane spirohydantoin 14b, N-Carbethoxynortropane spirohydantoin 14c, N-furfurylnortropane spirohydantion 14d, n_(p-methoxyphenyl) nortropane spirohydantoin 14e) were respectively synthesized by the treatment of synthesized nortropinones 11 (tropinone 11a 54%, N-isopropylnortropinone 11b 50%, N-Carbethoxynortropinone 11c 58%, N-furfurylnortropinone 11d 31%, N-(p-methoxyphenyl) nortropinone 11e, 70%) with potassium cyanide 12, ammonium carbonate 13.

        The thioamides; {N-(6-methyl-2-pyridinecarbothionyl)-3-methoxyaminobenzene (27), N-(6-methyl-2-pyridinecarbothionyl)-4-methoxyaminobenzene (29), N-(6-methyl-2-pyridine-carbothionyl)-3-ethoxyaminobenzene (31), N-(6-methyl-2-pyridinecarbothionyl)-4-ethoxyamion-benzene (33), N-(6-methyl-2-pyridinecarbothionyl)-3-bromoaminobenzene (35), N-(6-methyl-2-pyridinecarbothionyl)4-bromoaminobenzene (37), N-(6-methyl-2-pyridinecarbothionyl)-3-chloroaminobenzene (39), N-(6-methyl-2-pyridinecarbothionyl)-4-chloroaminobenzene (41)} were synthesized by the treatment of 2,6-lutidine(22) with sulfur in aniline derivatives (23). The benzothiazole derivatives; {5-methoxy-2-(6-methylpyridy)benzothiazole (46) and 6-ethoxy-2-(6-methylpyridyl)benzothiazole (47)} were respecively synthesized by the treatment of synthesized thioamides; N-(6-methyl-2-pyridinecarbothionyl)-3-methoxy-aminobenzene (27) and N-(6-methyl-2-pyridinecarbothionyl)-4-ethoxyaminobenzene (33) with zirconium (Ⅳ) oxide catalyst in sodium carbonate solution.

        유동성 복합레진의 마모저항성에 관한 연구

        시술시간을 줄이는데 유리한 재료인 유동성 복합레진을 유구치부에 사용하려고 고려할 때 중요한 물성 중 하나는 마모저항성이다. 이 연구의 목적은 유동성 복합레진의 마모저항성을 일반복합레진의 마모저항성을 비교하는 것이다. 실험에 사용된 유동성 복합레진으로 1군에서는 Arabesk flow (VOCO, Germany), 2군에서는 Tetric flow (Vivadent, Liechtenstein), 3군에서는 Aeliteflow (Bisco, U.S.A), 4군에서는 Filtek flow (3M Dental Co, U.S.A)을 사용하였으며 대조군으로 사용한 5군의 복합레진은 Z100 (3M Dental Co, U.S.A)이었다. 시편들(n=10)은 두께 2mm, 지름 5mm의 원통모양으로 제작하여 마모시험 전 37℃의 증류수에서 7일 동안 담가 놓았다. 제1소구치와 레진시편을 MTS 시스템에서 2Hz로 50,000회 접촉, 마모시켰다. 마모시험시 lateral excursion은 0.4mm, 교합력은 2-100N의 조건이었다. 마모시험후 마모된 부피, 최대마모깊이, 재료자체의 표면경도를 측정하였고 마모되지 않은 표면과 마모가 일어난 표면을 주사전자현미경으로 관찰하였으며 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 마모된 부피는 3군에서 가장 적었고 4군에서 가장 많았으며 3군<1군<2군<5군<4군의 순서로 증가하였다. 2. 3군, 1군, 2군, 5군이나 4군에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 마모부피가 적었다(P<0.05). 그러나, 3군, 1군, 2군 사이에서와 5군, 4군 사이에서는 각각 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 3. 최대마모깊이는 1군에서 가장 낮았고, 4군에서 가장 깊었으며 1군<3군<5군<2군<4군의 순서로 증가하였다. 4. 5군의 표면경도는 다른 유동성 복합레진군에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 높았으나(P<0.05). 마모부피나 최대마모깊이와는 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보이지 않았다. 5. 마모되지 않은 표면과 마모가 일어난 표면을 주사전자현미경으로 관찰한 결과, 유동성 복합레진군과 5군 사이에 마모양상이 다르게 나타나는 것을 볼 수 있었다. When we use the flowable resin on the primary molars for quick handling, one of the most important property is the wear resistance. This study was performed to compare the wear resistance characteristics of four flowable composite resins [Arabesk flow (group 1), Tetric flow (group 2), Aeliteflow (group 3), Filtek flow (group 4)] to that of one control composite resin [Z100 (group 5)]. Specimen discs(n=10), 10mm wide and 2mm thick, were stored in distilled water at 37℃ for 7 days prior to testing. The specimens were subjected to 50,000 strokes at 2Hz on the MTS system. During the test, the following parameters were maintained: the ;atera; excursion at 0.4mm, occlusal force at 2-100N with a force profile in the form of a half sine wave. The measurements of volume loss, depth of wear, and Vicker's hardness number of composite resins, and SEM obserbations of the polished and abraded surfaces were established. One-way ANOVA and Scheffe's multi-ple comparison test were employed to detect statistically significant differences among the flowable composite resin group and the control composite group at P<.05. The following results were obtained: 1. Group 3 showed the least volume loss, while group 4 showed the greatest. The mean volume loss increased in the following order: group 3<group 1<group 2<group 5<group 4. 2. Group 3, group 1, and group 2 showed significantly lesser volume loss compared to group 5 and group 4(p<0.05). However, There was no statistically significant difference among group 3, group 1 and group 2. There was no statistically significant difference between group 5 and group 4. 3. Group 1 showed the shallowest depth of wear, while group 4 showed the deepest. The mean depth of wear increased in the following order: group 1<group 3<group 5<group 2<group 4. 4. Group 5 showed significantly highest hardness value compared to the flowable composite resin groups(p<0.05), but there was no correlation between wear resistance and Vickers hardness number. 5. SEM observation of the unworn and worn surfaces revealed the differences in the wear appearance between the flowable composite resin groups and the control.

        진입장벽 요인이 향후 투자에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 러시아 제조업 부문에 대한 투자를 중심으로

        Any market has its own entry barriers to foreign firms. In this reason, foreign firms. who are entering to a foreign market, must have internal competence which can contribute to overcome the entry barriers and have the capability for adjusting to external environment of foreign market. In this paper we analyzed the rate of entry barriers of external environment of Russian market when Korean firms entering into Russia. In this paper we segmented the external environment that affects to foreign firms as entry barriers such as competitive, socio-cultural, and political-legal environment and analyzed the rate of barriers induced from these environmental factors to foreign firms. The applied method is correlation and multiple regression analysis. The result of empirical analysis is a follows: The competitive environment of local(Russian) market dose not affect to Korean firms as an entry barrier. The local socio-cultural environment, however, significantly affect to foreign firms as entry barrier and negatively affect to sequential entry to sequential entry of Korean firms, and among sub-factors hierarchical behavior of governmental workers, in particular, raises unstability and uncertainty of external environment and negatively affects to Korean firms' investment in the future.
