The purpose of this study is to seek the change of body surface according to cycling motions and to give suggestions to the pattern and spare space between body and wear in each bodily parts to be heavily considered for making the bicycle wear. The cycling motions were analyzed by taking the sequential pictures of cycling covering motion by a digital camera. The experiments with gypsum were toward a woman in her twenties. We draw the line standard of the body's surface, separated their gypsum-replicated fragments of body's surface following the analyses of the change in their lengths. As the motions were made, we decided the degree of the changed length as spare space when compared the erected posture with the cycling posture, presenting the pattern of the cycling wear with the preparation of wears for testing. After that, the essential experiments were conducted toward three cycle players wore our experimental wears. Regards their evaluated appearance, evaluations over three points were obtained from all parameters except the width of front armhole. Accordingly, our experimental wears were remarkably understood as a relatively proper wear as bicycle wear.

This study was made to give suggestions for a prototype of aquatic leports-wears. Our results obtained were summarized as follows. First, the resistance against water should be minimized. Additionally, the inflow of water into the garment and run of water within it should be intercepted. Second, for above conditions, it seemed to be favorable to design the pattern considering matters for flexibility, its fitness and appropriateness. Third, for the drafting of prototype, some 20 parts of body are measured following drawing. In the case of neck, wrist and ankle part being recognized as a passage of water-inflow, the terminal parts are sticked to the body with about 5cm of tips. Further, the circumferences of chest and buttocks are drafted with a 95% reduction in the measured values.
Retrieval of Aerosol Extinction in the Lower Troposphere Based on UV MAX-DOAS Measurements

Multi Axis Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (MAX-DOAS) has been utilized in recent years as a means of deriving vertical profiles of aerosol and trace gases; however, this new technique requires further validation because few studies have investigated its capability. In this study, vertical distributions of aerosol extinction coefficients (AECs) in the lower troposphere were retrieved by applying a recently developed aerosol-retrieval algorithm to O4 slant column densities (SCDs) measured at a UV wavelength (356 nm) using the MAX-DOAS technique. The MAX-DOAS measurements were conducted at the Korea Global Atmosphere Watch Observatory (KGAWO) located off the west coast of Korea during a period of seven cloudless days in May and June 2005. The AECs measured by UV MAX-DOAS varied from 0.05 to 0.73 km-1 in the 0-1 km layer and from 0.01 to 0.20 km-1 in the 1-2 km layer. The AECs for the 1-2 km layer from UV MAX-DOAS are in agreement with lidar data within about 60%. Our results demonstrate the ability of MAX-DOAS as a remote sensing technique for surface aerosol measurements.
