        In this paper, we developed crack image detection methods to measure growing behavior of fatigue-crack using digital image processing system and Visual C++ in personal computer. If the proposed method is used to develop the crack monitoring system and observe the crack growing behavior automatically, the time and efforts for fatigue test could be dramatically reduced. And also it is possible to estimate and manage efficiently the safety and lifetime of industrial facilities based on the collected data.

      • 암모니아성 질소(NH_4^+-N)제거를 위한 제올라이트성 물질의 제조

        The objectives of this study were to synthesize high ion-exchangeable zeolitic materials prepared from coal fly ash and to determine the adsorption capacities for the removal of NH_4^+4-N in wastewater For comparison. NH_4^+-N adsorption capacities of commercial, natural, and synthetic(4A type, Si0_2/Al_2O_3=1.98. Na_2O/SiO_2=1.54. H_2O/Na_2O=46.95) zeolites were investigated at the same condition. Zeolitic materials were prepared from coal fly ash by hydrothermal reaction with various NaOH concentrations at the reaction time of 4h and the reaction temperature of 100℃. It showed that the zeolitic material prepared at a 4M-NaOH concentration had the most NH_4^+-N adsorption capacity. Theremoval efficiency of NH_4^+-N on the zeolitic material was little difference compared with those on natural and commercial zeolites, though it was lower than that on a synthetic zeolite(4A type). As a result, it is expected that the prepared zeolitic material could be applicable to adsorbent for the NH_4^+-N removal in wastewater.

      • 형광검출 역상 액체크로마토그래피에 의한 Histamine의 정량

        Histamine을 정확하고 신속하게 정량하기 위해 9.Fiuorenylmethyl chloroformate를 형광유도체화제로 하여 역상 HPLC법으로 정량하였다. 히스타민을 형광유도체화할 때 반응액의 pH, 반응시간, 형광유도체화제의 농도 등 최적 반응 조건을 검토하였다. 이 방법으로 히스타민을 분석한 결과 0.1~0.5ug/ml의 농도범위에서 상관계수가 0.922인 양호한 직선성을 나타내었으며 검출한계는 0.01??/ml였다. A rapid and simple method for the determination of histamine by reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection was established. 9-Fluorenylmethyl chloroformate(FMOC) was used as fluorescent derivative reagent. The optimum conditions for the derivatiation such as pH, reaction time and he concentration of FMOC were investigated. Linearity of calibration curve was obtained between 0.1ug/ml/and 0.5ug/ml(r=0.922) and the limit of detection was 0.01ug/ml.

      • 블루투스 보안에 관한 연구

        블루투스는 무선으로 기기 간에 정보를 교환하므로 정보보호 측면에서 취약점을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 블루투스 시스템과 블루투스 정보보호에 대해 설명한다. 또한 블루투스 규격에서 정의하고 있는 정보보호 구조를 분석하고 그 취약성을 제시하고자 한다. Bluetooth transfer information to each devices wirelessly, so it is very susceptible to attacks. This paper first gives some background information about Bluetooth system and its security issues. Then we point out flaws and possible security holes in the Bluetooth Security Specification.

      • 等誘電性 2成分溶媒系에서 鹽化알킬카르보닐의 加알코올 分解反應

        The nucleophilic substitution reactions of alkanecarbonyl chlorides with alchohols in the polar aprotic solventls have been studied by means of the conductimerical method. The results are as follows; 1. The order of magnitude of the second-order rate constants in the same substrate is acetyl carbonyl chloride>propionyl choride>X-valeryl iso-vareryl chloride. This is in full accord with the inductive effect by means of the polarizability effect that is due to connect with the σ-bond of alkyl radical to neigboring atom. 2. The reactionis proceeded through the S2 reaction mechanism from the analysis of the values of m and ℓwhich are obtained from the extended Grunwald-Winstein equation. 3. From the prediction on the More O'Ferrall plot the reaction mechanism is favored to the SN route. 4. As shown in the quantum mechanical model, the reaction mechanism is shown to favor an associative S2. 5. The reaction mechanism is in accord with an associative S2 reaction mechanism in consideration of the solvent effect exactly.

      • 열처리에 따른 ZnO 박막 센서의 특성

        The ZnO(zinc oxide) thin film sensors were manufactured by RF magnetron sputtering method and added up to 4 wt. % Al_(2)O_(3), 1 wt. % TiO_(2) and 0.2 wt. % V_(2)O_(5) on the basis of ZnO material for developing the high sensitive gas sensors which have practically moderate resistivity and the stability. They were also grown on heated SiO_(2)/Si substrates of 250 ℃ at a pressure of about 10 mTorr in the pure oxygon gas with a power of about 80 watts for 10 minutes. To manufacture the thin film of the more stable high sensitivity, the thin films were also annealed from 400 ℃ to 800 ℃ and the thin films which were annealed with 700℃ for 60 minutes in the pure oxygon gas exhibited a good properties. The thin film grown in this conditions exhibited the sensitivity of maximum 550 in TMA gas concentration 160 pμm and exhibited a good stability and excellent linearity.

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the educated teachers' satisfaction of the in-service education programs of industrial technical and technology teachers in Chungnam National University. This study was carried out through survey to accomplish the purpose. The number of questionnaires collected was 86. This study used the SPSS program to conduct a descriptive analysis of the data. The results of this study were as follows: (1) The satisfaction about 'teachers' participation', 'utilization of audiovisual materials and instruments' and 'level of professor and lecture' was relatively high. (2) The satisfaction about 'environments of in-service education programs', 'evaluation of achievement', and 'efficacy of lectures' was relatively low.

        미국의 식물유래약용물질(Plant-Made Pharmaceuticals, PMPs)의 안전성 규제

        1. 식물유래 약용물질 (PMP)은 살아있는 식물에서 생산된 치료용 단백질로, 발효조에서 세포계통을 이용하는 것보다 적은 비용으로 높은 순도의 단백질을 생산할 수 있어 이에 대한 연구개발이 확대될 전망이다. 2. 식물유래 약용물질의 재배시험을 감독하는 주관부서는 미농무부(USDA)의 동식물 검역청(APHIS)이다. 3. PMP의 생산에는 알팔파. 옥수수, 벼 잇꽃과 담배 등이 이용되고 있다. 4. 현재 상업화된 PMP는 없으나 ProdiGene, Inc사 등 몇몇 생명공학 회사에서 이들의 연구개발이 진행되고 있다. 5. 2002년에 PMP 재배시험은 130에이커 규모로 34개 시험장에서 20건이 허가 되었으며 주별로는 애리조나, 네브라스카 등 14주에서 시험이 이루어 졌다. 6. 미국 USDA의 PMP 재배 지침에 의하면 PMP의 재배생산에는 안전성확보를 위한 별도의 전용장비를 필요로 하며 파종에서 생산까지 엄격하게 관리된다. 7. 미국 USDA의 APHIS는 2002년 PMP 옥수수를 생산하는 ProdiGene, Inc사에 대하여 2건의 포장시험허가 위반사항을 적발하여 벌금 조치를 한바있다. Plant-made pharmaceuticals(PMPs) are therapeutic agents(pharmaceutical proteins) produced in genetically engineered plants. To yield these valuable products plants offer several advantages that include large-scale production capacity at a reduced cost, equivalent purity/activity to other manufacturing systems, and freedom from contamination with animal pathogens, prions, or disease-causing germs. But there are risks of contamination of the food supply and unintended effects on ecosystems. In the U.S. PMPs are regulated under stringent requirement of the U.S. Department of Agriculture(USDA) and the Food and Drug Administration(FDA). In this article, contamination incident with PMP corn engineered by ProdiGene, Inc will be briefly introduced and regulations of PMPs will be discussed.
