한국 탐사보도 기자들의 소명의식과 실천에 대한 문화기술지 연구

이 연구는 탐사보도에서 소명의식은 필수조건인지, 탐사보도 기자들은 어떤 소명의식을 가지고 있는지, 가지고 있다면 소명의식을 구체적으로 어떻게 실천하는지 탐구했다. 이를 위해 막스 베버(Max Weber)가 주장한 ‘소명(Beruf)’ 개념을 이론으로 적용했다. 연구대상은 뉴스타파 취재팀이며, 연구방법은 참여관찰과 심층면담을 병행한 문화기술지이다. 연구 결과 첫째, 뉴스타파 기자들은 탐사보도에서 소명의식을 중요하다고 생각했다. 취재팀 내에서는 소명의식의 실재에서 차이가 발생했는데 아직 이렇다 할 소명의식을 형성하지 기자들은 직장에 대한 소속감 저하와 탐사보도 기자로서의 정체성에 혼란을 겪고 있었다. 둘째, 취재팀 내에서 ‘신념의 화신’으로 통하는 최경영과 한상진 기자의 경우 뉴스타파의 열린 뉴스 생산 방식 속에서 소명의식을 적극적으로 보도에 투영하고 있었다. 이들 보도의 특징은 ‘자신감을 바탕으로 한 집요함’이었다. 이들은 보도 건수나 취재력 등에서 취재팀 내에서 긍정적 평가를 받고 있었는데 성과의 원동력은 소명의식이었던 것으로 판단됐다. 셋째, 신념의 과잉으로 인한 오류가 관찰됐다. 최경영은 “가치저널리즘”을 추구하며 날카로운 비판 보도로 ‘선지자’의 모습을 보이기도 했지만, 때로는 자신의 시선이나 관점이 과다해 ‘광신도’의 모습도 보였다. 신념의 과잉은 사실의 과장, 적대적 공격, 그리고 ‘끼워넣기’ 등으로 나타났다. This research explored if the sense of calling is a necessary condition in investigative journalism, what kind of calling investigative journalists have, and how to carry out their calling if they have. The research subject was the news reporter team in Newstapa, and the research method was ethnography which concurrently performed participation observation and in - depth interview. Research results are as follows. First, news reporters thought that the sense of calling was important in investigative journalism. In news reporter team, there was a difference in the reality of the sense of calling, and the reporters who had not yet formed calling to do so were confused by the deterioration of belonging to the workplace and the identity of as investigative journalist. Second, Choi Kyoung-young and Han Sang-jin, who are considered ‘icon of calling’ in the team, were actively reflecting on their calling in their news stories using the open-minded news production system. The characteristic of these reports was ‘obstinacy based on confidence’. They were evaluated positively in the team in terms of the number of reports and coverage, and the driving force of the performance was judged to be the sense of calling. Third, errors caused by the excess of belief were observed. Choi Kyoung-young pursued “value journalism” and showed the appearance of ‘prophet’ through sharp criticism reports, but sometimes his gaze or perspective was excessive, and he also showed the appearance of ‘fanaticism’. The excess of belief appeared as the exaggeration of the facts, hostile attacks, and ‘embedding’.

In this work, we examined the electrical and mechanical characteristics of TFD devices for various top electrode materials by measuring barrier height and performing ASE depth profile. It was found that the shift of current-voltage(Ⅰ-Ⅴ) characteristics of TFD device depends on the top electrode material. The main reason of the asymmetry in Ⅰ-Ⅴ curve was the differences in barrier height of top and bottom electrodes, and chemical composition at the interface region between top electrode and insulator layer also was important reason. The barrier heights(φ_B) evaluated from temperature dependence of the Ⅰ-Ⅴ relation are 0.7795(Al) 1.0287(Ti) and 1.2928(Ta) eV.

This studies were conducted to investigate the growth characteristics by gravel contents and pre-crops of Flue-cured tobacco cultivated fields at Boeun and Koesan county extension. The results were summarized as follows. pH, available phosphorous(P2O5), inorganic nitrogen(NH4-N + NO3-N), organic contents, cation exchanging capacity(C.E.C) were much more at Koesan than those of Boeun. The gravel content were approximately from 20% to 70% and its content was much more containable at Koesan than Boeun. Stalk length, stalk diameter, leaf numbers, dry weight, largest leaf, the length and the width were higher at Koesan than Boeun. The growth of tobacco by pre-crop was higher tobacco fields than pepper fields.

This study was carried out to investigate effect of the planting distance of Eggplant(Solanum melongena. L). These grafting seeding "Torobambica", rootstock "Jang Ja" and "Chuk Yang" were tested to investigate the differences between the growth of eggplants and the numbers of eggplants which can be influenced by the planting distance such as 100×50cm, 100×60cm and 100×70cm. The results are summarized as follows: 1.The plant height, leaf length, leaf, width, leaf area and the number were good for the growth change of each cultivar from planting distance such as 100×70cm. 2.The grafting seedlings "Chuk YanglTorobambica" grew and developed better than "Jang Ja" and "Jang Ja/Torobambica" 3.Effects of scion on the rootstock for planting distance "Chuk Yang" grew and developed better than "Jang Ja"

Nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) is a discipline of non-destructive radio-frequency spectroscopy ranging from physics and chemistry to biology and engineering. NMR consists of two parts; cw NMR and pulse NMR. pulse NMR is superior to cw NMR in various respects. We introduce briefly the basic theory and physical quantities of pulse NMR, and what can be known from these. The apparatus used is MSL200 for solid NMR, which is located in KOREA BASIC SCIENCE INSTITUTE SEOUL BRANCH.

Various cytokines including IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-10, IL-12p40, IFN-r, and TNF-α have been recently reported to play important roles in both host and donor cell activations during xenotransplantation. Interleukin (IL)-18, a proinflammatory cytokine, can induce IL-4 and IL-13 production in T cells, NK cells, B cells, mast cells, and basophils. IL-18 has the capacity to stimulate innate immunity and both Th1-and Th2- mediated responses, but little is known to involve in the xenograft rejection. In order to investigate the role of IL-18 in xenograft rejection, we transplanted the pig kidney (PK15) cells to C57BL/6 mouse with or without intraperitoneal injection of mouse recombinatant IL-18, It was analyzed the population of T cell, B cell and NK cell in the mice transplanted with PK 15 cells and recombinant IL-18 by flow cytometry. We found that splenic CD3+ T cells were increased in mice injected PKl5 cells with recombinant IL-18. These results suggest that recombinant IL-18 is critical in the xenograft rejection by increasing T cell population of the recipients.

This experimental study was carried out to evaluate the effects of Cordiceps sinensis on the antimetastasis and immune activity. In order to investigate the effect of Cordiceps sinensis, the followings were performed; Cytotoxicity, inhibition of MMP-2 & MMP-9 gene expression, fraction of CD4+, CD8+, CD19+ in splenic cell, the moprphological change of splenic cells, gene expression of IL-12(p35), IL-12(p40), IFN-?? and splenic cell proliferation by CS-E. The results were obtained as follows. 1. CS-E did not present cytotoxic effect on L+14, B16-F10 melanoma cells and HMCB. 2. CS-E inhibited MMP-2 and MMP-9 gene expression more effectively compared with control group. 3. CS-E inhibited invasion of B16-F10 melanoma cells more effectively compared with control group. 4. CS-E helped CD4+, CD8+, CD19+ expression more effectively compared with control group. 5. CS-E activated phagocytic cells in spleen more effectively compared with control group. 6. CS-E helped IL-12(p35), IL-12(p40), IFN-?? gene expression in splenic cell more effectively compared with control group. 7. CS-E activated splenic cell proliferation more effectively compared with control group. From above findings, it is suggested that CS-E is able to inhibit metastasis of cancer and activate immune response system.
