      • M-Commerce에서 Secure Card 기반의 결제 프로토콜 설계

        In order to provide a reliable M-Commerce, a payment solution with security functions should be required. User's mobile terminals used in M-Commerce services are diversifying to cellular phone, PDA, Smart phone etc. Among them, integration of PDA's interface and mobile connection overcomes the weak point of existing cellular phone depending on information via the internet. In this paper, the Secure Card based protocol for a credit card transaction on PDA using ECC is presented. Secure Card module on this protocol encrypts user's information such as private information, delivery information and credit card information and stores it on PDA in order to free from inputting information whenever it is used. This scheme also offers security services on M-Commerce including authentication, confidentiality, integration, non-repudiation and so on.

        Bacillus stearothermophilus가 생산하는 Xylanase의 정제 및 특성

        토양 분리균인 B. stearothermophilus가 생산하는 xylanase를 ammonium sulfate 분획, DEAE-Sepharose CL-6B ion exchange chromatography, Sephadex G-100 gel 여과 및 열처리 등의 과정을 거쳐 단일 단백질로 분리 정제하였다. 170,000의 분자량을 지닌 본 정제 xylanase는 pH 8과 pH 10 사이의 넓은 최적 pH를 보였으며 55℃에서 최대 활성을 나타내었다. 55℃에서 2시간의 열처리에 의해서도 활서의 손실이 거의 없을 정도로 열에 매우 안정하였으며 Co^2+와 Mn^2+에 의해서 현저한 활성화 효과를 보였다. 또한 larchwood xylan의 가수분해 산물로 주로 xylobiose와 xylotriose를 생성하였으며 약간의 xylose도 생성하였다. 따라서 본 정제효소는 endo-xylanase(EC 3.2.1.8)로 분류할 수 있었다. An extracellular xylanase of Bacillus stearothermophilus was purified to a single protein through a sequency of operations including ammonium sulfate fractionation, DEAE Sepharose CL-6B ion exchange chromatography, Sephadex G-100 gel filtration and heat treatment. The purified enzyme had a moleular weight of 170,000, the pH and temperature optima for the enzyme activity were pH 9.0 and 55℃, respectively. The activity was enhanced by Co^2+ and Mn^2+, and inhibited by Hg^2+. Pattern of hydrolysis demonstrated that the xylanase was an endo-splitting enzyme able to break down larchwood xylan at random giving xylobiose and xylotriose as the main end products.

The scaned digital image used to preprocessing and vectorization, resulting data was transffered CAD/CAM system. Processing step was noise removal, void filling, image segmentation, line thinning and contour extraction. Raster-to-vector conversion was performed by recognition and fitting of straight line segments, circles, arcs, and conic section. Experimental results are also shown

        청각 장애 학생과 교사 및 부모의 수화에 대한 태도 연구

        본 연구는 청각 장애 학생들, 청각 장애 학교에 근무하는 교사들, 그리고 청각 장애 아동을 자녀로 둔 부모들의 수화와 선호하는 수화에 대한 태도를 조사하기 위해 실시되었다. 본 연구에서는 구체적으로 세 집단의 수화에 대한 태도가 차이가 있는가? 와 세 집단이 선호하는 수화 유형에 차이가? 있는가를 조사하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 피험자는 141명에 청각 장애 학생들, 140명의 청각 장애 학교 교사들, 그리고 120명의 부모들이다. 설문지는 3부분으로 구성되어 있는 데 이는 인구 통계학적 특성을 묻는 문항들과 수화에 대한 태도를 묻는 문항들 그리고 선호하는 수화 유형을 묻는 문항들이고 Likert 5점 척도를 사용하였다. 이 문항들의 신뢰도는 각각 .85, .83, .76이다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사들의 수화에 대한 태도가 부모들이나 학생들의 태도보다 더 긍정적이었다. 둘째, 학생들은 성인 농자들이 사용하는 수화를 더 선호하는 것으로 나타났고 교사들은 국어 어순에 맞게 표현하는 수화를 더 선호하였다. 이것은 성인 농자들이 사용하는 수화가 학생들의 인지 처리 양식에 더 부합하기 때문에 이해하기가 국어 어순대로 표현한 수화보다 더 쉬울 것이기 때문일 것이다. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the attitudes toward sign language in deaf students, teachers and deaf students' parents using sign language as a communication method. The following research questions is addressed in the study: (1) What's difference of a sign language perception among three groups? (2) What's difference of preferred sign language of three groups? The subjects were 141 deaf students, 140 teachers and 120 parents who have deaf child. The questionnaire was developed based on previous literature and consisted of three parts: (1) Background information (2) Sign language perception (3) Sign language preference. The reliability of this questionnaire was .85, .83, and 76, respectively according to Cronbach alpha. The respondents marked the items on the questionnaire using the Likert Scale. The data were analyzed using ONE-WAY ANOVA and frequency analysis with SPSS for windows. The results are as follows First, teachers' sign perception indicated higher scores than deaf students' and their parents' scores. Therefore teachers estimated sign language highly as useful communication mode for students with hearing impairment. There's no significant difference in the students group according to their parents' hearing status and experiences of integration. And in teachers group, there is also no significant difference regardless of their school level, teaching experience and hearing status. But in parents's group, there's significant difference according to their children's school level and their educational background. The parents who have younger children got lower scores than other parents who have old students, and the parents with higher educational background got slower scores than others with lower educational background. It meant that their attitude toward sign language is comparatively negative. Second, students preferred sign language used by deaf adults to grammatical sign language. But teachers appeared to have favor of grammatical sign language. They are using sign language simultaneously with speech, and using it in a Korean word order. However it is unclear that which sign language type the parents group prefer to because of their poor signing ability. These results suggest that Korean sign language used by deaf adults be not widely used. However, teachers' Korean sign language skill should be emphasized and improved.

        열공형과 비열공형 피질하 혈관성 치매에서 위험인자의 차이에 관한 비교 연구

        Backgrounds and Objectives: Vascular dementia is a group of dementing disoders arising from various stroke syndrome. Among these. subcortical ischemic vascular dementia (SIVD) is regarded as a relatively distinct clinical entity. However, MRI patterns of SIVD are not homogenous. In some patients, lacunes are dominant, and in others, subcortical white matter changes are. This study was designed to compare risk factor profiles between SIVD with and without multiple lacunes. Methods: We divided 47 subjects (22 males, mean age. 68 years) recruited from VADAPET (Multicenter Trial For Evaluation Of The Changes In the PET Images Of Subcortical Vascular Dementia Patient) study into two groups one with more than 5 lacunes in deep gray matter (lacune group) and the other with 5 or less(non-lacune group) Clinical characteristics and laboratory findings of two groups were compared. Results: Nineteen of 47 patients (40%) belonged to the lacune group. The lacune and non-lacune groups d d not differ in the following variables: age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia heart disease, history of stroke or TIA, history of trauma or major surgery, family history of hypertension stroke, or dementia, age at diagnosis of dementia, body mass index, white blood cell count, ESR, CRP, fibrinogen, hemoglobin A1C, total cholesterol. LDL cholesterol creatinine, proteinuria, glucosuria, and microhematuria. However, male sex, smoking alcohol. hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol were possibly associated more with lacune group SIVD than with non-lacune group (p<0 1) Multivariate analyses revealed that smoking, hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol were independent predictors of SIVD with multiple lacunes Conclusion: Our study suggests that SIVD with multiple lacunes may be significantly different in smoking habits hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol from SIVD without multiple lacunes.

        초등학교 치아우식 아동의 구강검진 후 관리 실태와 어머니의 구강건강신념과의 관계

        The objective of this study were to evaluate the relation between post-examination management states of dental caries in elementary school students and a mother's dental health beliefs. We systematically chose 10 elementary schools in urban and rural areas of Chungnam Province and determined the first class students of 5 and 6 grade in each school as study subjects. Among 837 participants, 669 students were diagnosed with dental caries after a 1998 periodic dental health examination was answered completely and analysed. The contents of the questionnaire for students were general characteristics, dental health behaviors, notification factors, treatment factors. Their mothers were surveyed by another questionnaire. The contents of the questionnaire for mothers were also general characteristics, dental health behaviors, and dental health beliefs. The result of this study were as follows" 1.The prevalence of dental caries was 65.0% and there was no significant difference between urban and rural areas. 2. Meanwhile, 63.8% of students in urban areas knew the examination result through a doctor's explanation, 52.4% of students in rural areas learned through a school notification letter. 82.9% of all the students let their parents know of their dental caries. 3. Among the dental caries group, 36.3% of the students were treated as for treatment, most students in urban areas visited a dental clinic, but those in rural areas visited the dental dept of a public health center as for the treatment time, 35.9% of the students were treated immediately after the examination. 4.449% of those treated answered that they considered the treatment as a bother and unnecessary due to no pain. 5. Overall, the scores in the dental health beliefs in mothers were low. Especially among the 5 items of susceptibility and seriousness, the scored were very low but the benefit was high. Logistic regression analysis showed that the treatment of a child's dental caries was significantly associated with low scores of benefit in those untreated and high scores among those treated. Considering these results, health education to stimalate a mother's susceptibility and seriousness in health beliefs and for students to learn the need for treatment, including a more detailed post exam management system at the school level should be considered for a higher treatment rate.

      • CO₂고정을 위한 화학독립영양미생물 Aeromonas sp. strain JS-1의 분리 및 특성

        The increase of CO2 in the atmosphere by fossil-fuel combustion has been recognized as a major cause of global warming. Thus many studies on CO2 removal from the combustion gas have been performed, and recently the techniques for biological CO2 fixation by photoautotrophs have also been developed, In this study, extensive screening was conducted to obtain micoorganism with high capability in fixing CO2, and its characteristics was investigated. As a result, a chemoautotrophs identified as a Aeromonas sp. strain JS-1 was isolated from the fresh water. The isolated strain used the molecular hydrogen and CO2 as an energy and a carbon source, respectively. Growth characteristics, which will be used in the development of a continuous culture system related in CO2 fixation, were examined in batch cultivation under conditions of various CO2 and NaCl concentrations, temperature, and pH. The results of the examination showed that the isolated strain had a good growth to high CO2 concentration(40%), indicating applicable in removing CO2 discharged from industries.

      • 韓國産고추의 品質에 關한 綜合的 硏究

        In order to evaluate the overall Korean red pepper's quality, Jeongseon-Jaerae and Hot-Portugal varieties were selected as samples and purchased from Kyungdong market located in Seoul which confirmed the varieties and drying methods(sun drying and hot air drying). The pericarp, seed, placenta and stem were separated and then general properties, general compositions, capsaicinoids, chromatocity, free amino acids, organic acids, free sugars, vitamin C, fatty acids and 5'-nucleotides were analyzed. The results are summarized as follows. 1.Properties of red pepper were not affected by the drying methods. In the weight ratio of each part, there were no difference between drying methods, however some varieties of Hot -Portugal contained a smaller amount of pericarps(45%) and higher content of seed(44∼45%) compared to the Jeongseon-Jaerae variety (49% in pericarps, 42∼43% in seed ). 2.General compositions of red peppers were as follows. Moisture content was 7∼9%, total sugar was 63%, crude protein was 15∼16.5%, crude fat was 15∼16% and the crude ash was 5∼6.5%. Varieties and drying methods of red peppers did not produce any significant difference in the composition of general constituents. 3.Capsaicinoids of red peppers were quantitatively analyzed by HPLC and then identified with GC -MS. As a result, 3 kinds of homologous such as nordihydrocapsaicin, capsaicin and dihydrocapsaicin were confirmed. Dihydrocapsaicin was mainly detected in the placenta. Capsaicinoids content in each part of red peppers were higher in placenta. There was no remarkable tendency of capsaicinoids content in each part of red peppers according to varieties, but the total amount of capsaicinoids in Jeongseon-Jaerae was 2∼3 times larger than what was found in the Hot -Portugal. The total amount of capsaicinoids in sun dried red peppers was larger than the amount in hot air dried red peppers. 4.The pericarp powder of red poppers was suitable for sample of color evaluation. On Hunfer-lab values, L value(brightness) and a value(red) of pericarp powder were higher in Jeongseon-Jaerae than in Hot-Portugal. In Jeongseon-Jaerae, it was about 15% higher in sun dried red peppers compared to hot air dried. On the other hand, there was no significant difference in Hot-Portugal according to drying methods. Also b value(yellow) showed same tendency of L and a value. The ratio of a to b(a/b) was higher in Hot -Portugal than in Jeongseon-Jaerae. The ratio was higher in sun dried red poppers of both varieties. In means sun dried red peppers show more intense color than hot air dried ones. 5.Total seventeen kinds of free amino acids were identified in each part of red peppers and amount of free amino acids of the Jeongseon-Jaerae were larger than in the Hot-Portugal. Pro-line was contained comparatively larger amount in all parts of the red peppers regardless of varieties and drying methods, except seed portion. And except seed, amount of free amino acids were larger in sun dried red peppers of both varieties. 6.As organic acids contained in each part of red poppers were succinic acid, fumaric acid, malic acid, citric acid and quinic acid, and these five kinds of organic acids were isolated. Among these acids, the content of quinic acid was highest in each part, namely Jeongseon-Jaerae showed 93∼97% and in Hot-Portugal showed 92% of total organic acid content. As a whole, total amount of organic acids were larger in Jeongseon-Jaerae than in Hot-Portugal regardless of drying methods. In the Jeongseon-Jaerae, the amount of organic acids were slightly larger in hot air dried red pepper. 7.Total amount of free sugary were larger in Hot -Portugal than in the Jeongseon-Jaerae. As reducing sugars, fructose and glucose were mostly contained in the pericarp in both varieties of red peppers regardless of drying methods, and sucrose was mainly contained in seeds. Also in Jeongseon-Jaerae, in each part, larger amount of free sugars were contained in hot air dried red pepper compared to the sun dried ones. But there was not much difference in the Hot-Portugal according to drying methods. 8.Vitamin C was mainly distributed in pericarp, and in placenta only small amount was contained. Under the same drying method, the vitamin C content of Hot-Portugal was slightly higher than Jeongseon-Jaerae. The vitamin C content in pericarps was higher in hot air dried red pepper than in the sun dried ones regardless varieties. 9.In the twelve kinds of fatty acids which were isolated and confirmed, the highest content of fatty acid was linoleic acid and next was oleic acid or palmitic acid. There was no difference between drying methods. Especially, there was no difference in unsaturated fatty acids content according to drying methods. 10.Using HPLC, 5'-nucleotides such as CMP, AMP and IMP of red peppers were isolated and identified. Total amount of 5'-nucleotides were 4 times lager in Jeongseon-Jaerae than in the Hot -Portugal. The CMP content was highest in the pericarp of the Jeongseon-Jaerae, mean while IMP was highest in the pericarp of Hot-Portugal. 5'-Nucleotides content of hot air dried red peppers were smaller in both varieties. 11.Regardless of varieties or drying methods, capsaicinoids content and 5'-nucleotides content were in direct proportion but vitamin C content comparing to capsaicinoids or 5 -nucleotides was in inverse proportion. Free sugars and vitamin C content were higher in Hot-Portugal. Organic acids, capsaicinoids. 5'-nucleotides and total flavoring amino acids content were higher in the Jeongseon-Jaerae. The red pepper of sun dried Jeongseon-Jaelae contained a relatively small amount of free sugar, but capsaicinoids content was large, so it has strong hot taste and the palatability is also excellent. The color intensity was also proper, and will show high acceptability as a food stuff.
