        The ultimate purpose of the Symbol Design is to give the customers can have more positive and intimate feelings. In this study, we focused on which Symbol Design is giving positive reaction(preference) to the customer and which effective elements are operating towards those reactions through Symbol Design. So based on this, we tried to introduce the methodology of how to design the symbol. This study is devided into three parts: theoretical examination, establishment of research model, and analysis of examples. From theoretical examination, 13 esthetic effective elements and the other design elements were extracted and than research model was established from this. The Case study was classified into image research, esthetic preference research, and preferred design research. The basic image was extracted from image research, the esthetic preference elements and preferred design elements were extracted to determine the symbol style, and finally the future way of the design was prospeted.

        국내 캐릭터산업의 현황분석과 활성화 전략에 관한 연구 - 팬시용 캐릭터를 중심으로 -

        캐릭터산업은 1990년대 우리 생활속에 팬시상품 또는 선물용품 등으로 불리우면서 새로운 유망산업으로 부각되기 시작하였다. 특히 21세기에 접어들면서 컴퓨터 애니메이션의 등장과 발전 그리고 인터넷의 급속한 확산으로 캐릭터는 대중과 보다 친밀하게 되었으며 그중요성과 상품가치도 날로 커지고 있어 21세기 문화 컨텐츠산업을 주도할 주체로 각광 받고있다. 그러나 현재 국내 캐릭터 산업의 실정은 미국, 일본 등 선진국에 비해 기반이 매우 취약한데 이는 캐릭터디자인에 대한 체계적인 연구와 전문적인 교육이 미흡하고 이미 개발된 캐릭터를 활용하여 상품으로 발전시키는 머쳔다이징과 상품화 전략의 부재에서 그 원인을 찾을 수 있다. 특히 독창적이고 고유한 우리의 캐릭터를 개발하여 활용하려는 노력보다 단순히 외국의 유명한 캐릭터를 비싼 로얄티를 지불하고 가져다 쓰려는 일부 기업의 영리우선행위와 외국디자인을 거리낌없이 도용하고 모방하는 일부 디자이너의 윤리의식이 국내 캐릭터산업의 발전을 가로막는 저해요소로 꼽히고있다. 또한 소비자 선호도 조사결과에 의하면 주 소비자가 초등학생에서 20대 전후의 감성이 예민한 청소년층 임을 고려할 때 긍정적이며 교육적 메시지를 내포한 한국적 이미지의 캐릭터개발이 필요하며 이것은 기업윤리측면에서도 반드시 선행되어야할 과제이기도 하다 따라서 무엇보다 독창성과 창의성이 요구되는 캐릭터디자인은 디자이너의 신선한 감각과 전문적인 기법 그리고 양심있는 판단이 중요하며 이러한 전문디자이너를 양성할 수 있도록 국가적인 차원의 정책적인 지원이 매우 시급하다.더불어 문화 관광 상품으로서의 의미를 부여하여 국가브랜드의 위상을 높이는데 기여하고자 한다. Character industry became a new promising industry that is called fancy or gift product in our life in 1990s. Especially, in the beginning of 21th century, character has been more familiar with people by developing of computer animation and the spread of internet and it has been spotlighted as an important role for 21th century cultural contents industry by its fast growing significance and product value. However, the state of current domestic character industry has a very weak basis compared to USA and Japan because it does not have enough professional education and systematic research of character design and also the product strategy and merchandising which grow the previously developed character to product. Especially the profit-only behavior of some companies that just intend to use the famous foreign characters with the high-priced royalty and the moral consciousness of some designers who embezzle and copy the foreign design without hesitation rather than try to develope and utilize our own unique character are the major disincentives. According to consumer preference, Korean image character development which includes positive and educational message is necessary for the consumers because mainly they are from the elementary school students to age of around 20 who are sensitive and it is also a prerequisite in the aspect of business ethics.Therefore, most of all, designer`s fresh sense, professional technique, and true decision are important for the character design which needs the originality and creativity and it is urgent that there must be the national support for training professional designer.

        지방자치단체 C.I디자인 개발 사례연구- 담양군, 무안군을 중심으로 -

        1995년 30년만에 부활된 지방자치제는 행정권의 자치권뿐만 아니라 경제적 자립과 문화적 자생력을 필수전제로 하기 때문에 정책수립과 의사결정의 모든 업무에 지역 주민의 참여와 관심이 적극적으로 도출되고 있다.또한 지역 주민의 질 높은 문화생활을 형성시키고 애향심을 북돋우며 지방행정의 효율을 높이면서 지방단체의 독자적인 문화와 특성을 갖기 위한 지역 이미지의 단일화, 차별화를 유도하는 C.I(City 혹은 County Identity)개발을 각 지자체에서 적극적으로 추진하고 있다.본 연구는 전남지역에 C.I디자인개발이 이루어진 담양군과 무안군의 C.I디자인개발의 전 과정에 참여하여 지역특성 및 환경조사, 종합분석 및 문제점 도출, 대안제시 및 디자인컨셉을 설정하고 다양한 디자인 아이디어를 제시, 각 지자체의 심볼과 로고, 마스코트 등을 개발하고 이를 바탕으로 다양하게 활용할 수 있는 응용디자인을 개발하여 종합적인 매뉴얼을 제작함으로서 각 지자체의 행정업무 효율증대와 차별화를 꾀하고 지자체의 경쟁력을 강화시켜 주민의 삶의 질을 향상시키고 지역 이미지를 긍정적으로 새롭게 창조시켜 직. 간접적으로 주민의 경제활동에 대한 실질적인 지원을 할 수 있도록 하였다. C.I는 단지 Visual 측면 뿐 아니라 Mind적 측면과 행동적 측면이 있기 때문에 지역주민의 적극적 소구의식과 공보의 업무를 맡는 행정 공무원의 충분한 인식이 수반되어야 한다.         Color is one of the most important emotional factors touching consumers' feeling. Particularly in CF, color is drawing attention as a new marketing strategy straightly linked to selling. Color marketing is one of the determining factors to enhance product values and raise consumers' need to buy. As Louis Cheskin says, color is well known to be one of the factors unconsciously to impress many people in concrete or symbolic ways. It is said that, from all human behaviors, 80 percent is induced by emotion, and the rest 10% is done by reason. Th1s stimulation appeals directly to our feelings, and calls eyesight, recognition, and decision, and then it, combined with physiological needs or social needs, incites motivation The fact is very important that almost 90% of all human behaviors are induced by emotion, 90% of such emotion is caused by eyesight, and factors depending on nothing but color compose large part of stimulation to the eyesight.

        The tenn of Digital is now being located in our life with one of daily expressions because it is widely used for not only the electronic products but also various service goods. However, we have only experienced the omen of digital age through the internet, mobile phone, and digital TV so far and the true meaning of the digital revolution just has been started. The real digital revolution will be started when the digitalization will be more progressed and the computer, the communication devices, and the electronic home appliances will be transformed to the new informal appliances by the basis of wire and wireless network and it will produce not only the change from analog to digital but the complicated interaction between human and product environment which is never existed. This interaction will give us a big new life style. Undoubtedly this change in the digital age will be developed in a positive way. However, it will also bring the negative change and one of those will be the absence or the discontinuation of communication between human being. Originally the digitalization should bring convenience, efficiency, high technology of all communication. The age of communication that the original purpose of communication for exchanging human emotion is disappeared and the communication only for exchanging the information which is needed not between human being, but only between human and product environment is coming to us. Therefore as this thesis, a design for delivery system is proposed as one of the solutions for the negative change in the digital age and this is an another irony of coming digital age due to the using digital technology. Even though we can not avoid the arrival of digital age and various change, it is our subject that is to suggest an alternative proposal and solution of the negative change and its factor.

        불쾌기분장애에 관한 임상적 고찰

        The author attempted to investigate the clinical characteristics of 122 patients who were diagnosed as the dysthymic disorder at the Neuropsychiatric Department of Korea University Hospital during the period from June, 1980 to June 1982, by a retrospective review of their medical records. The results were summarized as follows; 1. As to age distribution, the highest frequency was seen in the fourth decade in both sexes. The mean age of male and female patients were 35.0 and 31.8 years, respectively. The incidence in female was 2.6 times higher than that of male. 2. Male patients had higher academic achievement than female patients. 3. Socioeconomically, middle class was dominant in both sexes. 4. 32.4% of male patients and 12.5% of female patients had family history in which neuroses were observed most commonly in both sexes. 5. As to the premorbid personality, 52.9% of male patients and 42.0% of female patients had the obsessive-compulsive personality, and hysterical personality was observed more frequently in female than male. 6. Chronic psychosocial stressor as a major precipitating factor was identified in both sexes. Among the chronic psychosocial stressor, occupational problem was most common in male and financial and family problem in female. There was a tendency of increasing frequency of the chronic psychosocial stressor and physical illness with aging. 7. Among clinical subtypes, masked depression was seen most frequently in both sexes. 8. In the clinical course, intermittent form was found most frequently in both sexes. 9. Among the psychiatric symptoms, depressed mood, loss of interest or enjoyment of pleasurable activities, and low energy level or chronic tiredness were observed in the order of frequency. As to the somatic symptoms, insomnia, anorexia and indigestion were observed frequently in the order of frequency.

      • 아동과 음악의 연계성에 대한 고찰

        Music is the most desirable part of happiness which is human’'s aim of life. Also, it has meaning of cultural value. Music is not only the basic need which sympathizes culture and emotion but also a community work. Human encounter music even before they are born and starts music activity inside the womb. A fetus first feels his mother’s heartbeat, get into the rhythm and comes out to the world responding to the external stimulus. Like this, the object of child music is to develop creativity by growing musical brain and musical sense leading to development of child' s sense and artistry based on rhythm. In this paper I will talk about the relationship between child and music, the importance of child and music and child and music activity based on these ideas.

      • 아동미술교육의 창의성 향상을 위한 효과적인 재료활용 지도 방법

        Creativity in art education improves social and cultural creativity against a diverse and complex social structure while imagination helps to develop the ability to cope with any challenges. Therefore, teaching arts to children is the key to bringing about unlimited desire for creativity by suggesting various new materials. Moreover, children can feel happy by repeating desire and interest, forming creative behavior of finding out new challenges and thoughts and coming up with brilliant ideas. Art education to improve creativity is very meaningful in that it helps human beings to express their various potentials naturally through artistic experiences. In addition, art education helps to find out children’s thought and emotion through their creative works of art such as painting and making. Since it is important for teachers to bring about children’s desire for creativity with various materials, systematic teaching is essentially required. In this respect, it is effective to teach children creativity through art education. Thus, this study is intended to examine general characteristics of art education for children, art education and creativity and seek to an efficient method to teach art in a creative manner by making full use of materials to improve creativity. 미술교육은 인간의 무궁한 가능성을 신장시키기 위하여 인간의 내면세계 를 시각적, 공간적, 조형적으로 표현하고 그것을 이해하는 교육이다. 현대 미술이 급격하게 변화하고 아동의 미술교육 또한 변화가 요구되는 시점에서 현대미술교육은 잘 그려야 하는 기술적인 것 보다는 조형적인 활동 으로 전환되고 이론적으로도 창의성 중심 교육을 주장한다. 창의성 교육은 사회구조의 다양화와 복잡함 속에서 사회적,문화적으로 높은 창의성을 길러주며 상상력은 문제 해결능력을 향상시켜준다. 따라서 아동기 의 미술지도는 다양한 재료를 활용하여 자유로운 표현활동을 이끌어 창의적인 표현과 미적 감성의 영역을 확대시켜 주어야 한다. 다양한 재료의 활용은 경험 을 통해 물질에 대한 이해와 개념을 인식하면서 흥미롭고 재미있는 활동으로 새로움을 느끼고 그 새로움을 창의적으로 나타내고 표현할 수 있으며 표현과정에서는 형태를 변화시키고 재구성함으로서 창의성과 질서의식을 증진시킬 수 있다. 따라서 교사는 적절한 교육프로그램을 적용하여 학생들에게 다양한 재료를 제시하고 아동들에게 재료의 효과적인 활용에 대한 만족감을 줌으로서 미적인 활동을 통해 즐거움올 체험할 수 있게 될 것이다. 미술교육을 위하여 창의적 소재와 다양한 재료활용에 대한 연구 가 필요하다.
