        It is clear that even though management innovation (especially information technology) from its traditional orientation of administrative support toward a more strategic role within an organization, there is still a glaring lack of fundamental frameworks whin which to understand the potential management innovation for tommorow,s organization. How to success in today's rapidly changing competitive environment is ouestion weighing heavily on many a manager's mind. Everything seems to be in changin - markets, customer demands, technologies, global buundries, products, adn business process. In the midst of this seemingly overwhelming change. managers are being asked to make critical competetive decisions that will affect not only the present position of their firm, but also its future success. Much to dismay, however, many managers are finding out, sometimes the hard way, that it is a diffcult game, and the old rules do not apply anymore. To compete in today's rapidly changing competetive environment, new strategic responses are required that most managers may have never thought possible. In addition managers must understand that at the heart of these new strategic response is innovative management through advanced informationtechnology and business process redesign. This requires a fundamental changing in managemental thinking about the role of management innovation in organizational transofrmation, as well as an undrestanding of critical components of process innovation and information technology measurement. In this paper, we develop a model for conceptualizing and directing the emerging area (small business firms) of management innovation. We explorer the challenges of designing the appropriate small business organization. We argue that all elements of the management innovation, especially the assessment of business process reengineering and information technology. This is necessary to provided the capabilities required to acheive competetive advantage.conditions facing the small business firms and its chosen innovation methodologies.. It is our contention that the effective and innovative use of information technology and BPR is at the heart of the new organizational designs and capabilities required to meet current competetive challenges.

      • 모형실험에 의한 사질토 자반에서의 군말뚝 거동에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this paper is to analyze the bearing capacity, settlement and pile action of pile groups in cohesionless soil, based on a wide range of model test in laboratory. Model test were conducted with changing the variables affecting the behavior of group pile; Number of pile, Diameters, Spacings between piles and Arrangement of piles. Effects of these variables on group efficiency were investigated by analyzing test results. Test results were also compared with the existing analytical method and data obtained in-situ tests.

      • 자궁내 태아사망의 임상적 고찰

        Objective: This study was designed to evaluate diagnosis and complication, prognosis during clinical study of cases of intrauterine fetal death. Methods and materials: This is a clinical study of 56 cases of the intrauterine fetal death among 8064 deliveries at Seoul Sunchunhyang university hospital during 5 years from January, 1994 to December, 1998. Results: The incidence was 0.7%. The age distribution of mothers was 18 - 44 years and was highest in the 25 - 29 years range(46.4%). The parity was the most highest in the nulliparous group(51.8%). The most common gestational weeks was 20 - 28 weeks gestational period(46.4%), and most common presentation was cephalic(73.5%). The most common weights of the intrauterine fetal death was from 5,00gm to 1,000g(48.2%). The mode of the most common delivery was the induction of delivery(57.2%). The etiologic factors were: unknown(42.9%), preeclampsia(17.9%), chorioamnionitis(14.3%), congenital anomaly(12.5%), abruptio placenta(7.1%), cord complication(3.6%), placenta previa, death of one for twin. There were 2 cases of maternal complication(DIC, Uterine atony). Conclusion : Intrauterine fetal death should be diagnosised early and treated properly to reduce risk of the maternal complication.

      • TE?₁₁모드 공진기·대역통과 여파기의 설계 및 제작

        A TE?? mode cavity filter was designed using mode matching technique and generalized bandpass filter circuit model. For the accurate calculation of filter characteristics, a mode matching algorithm has been developed. The angle between the coupling irises, the iris dimension, and the aspect ratio of cavity are filter design parameters. Isolation, ripple and bandwidth in the passband, and spurious frequency responses can be controlled with the above parameters, respectively. For the efficient filter design, a proper equivalent circuit for iris was derived and the length of cavities was compensated. To reduce the difference in insertion loss and bandwidth, the equations for compensation were found with curve fitting for data obtained with HFSS. The experimental result shows an excellent agreement with the calculated result.

        Quartz 자극에 의한 iNOS 발현의 자가조절

        목적 : Rat2 섬유모세포에서 α-quartz에 의해 유도된 NOS의 조절기전을 알아보기 위하여 본 연구가시도 되었다. 방법 : Rat2 세포에 있어서 α-quartz 자극에 의한 NO와 H₂O₂의 분비 및 iNOS의 발현을 관찰하였고, iNOS 억제제인 L-NIL과 H₂O₂ 억제제인Catalase를 전처리하고 마찬가지로 NO와 H₂O₂분비 그리고 iNOS의 단백발현 정도를 western blot-ting을 이용하여 관찰하였다. 결과 : o-quartz는 Rat2 세포에서 iNOS에 의한NO와 H₂O₂의 분비를 유도하였다. L-NIL은 R3t2세포에서 D-quartz에 의한 H₂O₂의 분비와 iNOS발현을 완전히 억제하였다. Catalase로 전처리 하였을 때 o-quartz로 유도된 iNOS에 의하여 생산증가된 H2Oa가 iNOS를 억제하는 autoinhibitorypathway가 차단되어 결과적으로 H₂O₂의 분비와 iNOS의 발현이 증가하였다. 결론 : Rat2 세포에서 α-quartz에 의하여 유도된iNOS는 H₂O₂의 분비를 촉진하고 이 H₂O₂는 iNOS기능을 조절하는 자가조절기전에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 생각된다. Objectives : This study was performed in order to investigate the molecular mechanism regulating nitric oxide synthase (NOS) induced by α-quartz in Rat2 fibroblast. Methods : α-quartz-induced nitric Oxide (NO) anti H₂O₂ formation anti α-quarts-induced iNOS protein expression in Rat2 fibroblast were monitored. With iNOS inhibitor (L-N6- (1-iminoethyl) lysine hydrochloride, L-NIL) or antioxidant (catalase), we observed NO and H₂O₂ formation and iNOS protein expression in Rat2 fibroblast stimulated with α-quartz. Results : α-quartz stimulated iNOS-induced NO and H₂O₂ formation in Rat2 fibroblast. L-NIL inhibited H₂O₂ formation and iNOS protein expression by α-quartz in Rat2 fibroblast. Pretreatment with catalase blocked the autoinhibitory pathway of iNOS by iNOS-induced H₂O₂ therefore H₂O₂ and NO production and iNOS protein expression were increased in Rat2 fibrobalst stimulated with α-quartz Conclusion : α-quartz-induced iNOS Stimulated H₂O₂ formation in Rat2 fibroblast. INOS-induced H₂O₂ by α-quartz plays an important role in the autoinhibition pathway for regulating the iNOS function in Rat2 fibroblast

        6kW 독립형 풍력발전기의 진동 모니터링 및 분석

        A vibration monitoring system for a small class of wind turbine (W/T) is established and operated. The monitoring system consists of monolithic integrated chip accelerometer for vibration monitoring, anemometers for wind data acquisition and auxiliary sensors for atmospheric data. Using the monitoring system, vibration response of a 6kW W/T generator is investigated. Acceleration data of the W/T tower under various operation condition is acquired in real time using LabVIEW and is remotely transferred from the test site to the laboratory in school by internet. Vibration state of the tower structure is diagnosed within the operating speed range. Resonance frequency range of the test model is investigated with the wind speed data of the test site.

      • 국내에서 유행하는 HIV의 전파 경로에 따른 Subtype 분포

        Background : Previous data have been reported that subtype B is prevalent in South Korea, but neither the extent nor the proportion of subtypes could be evaluated. This study was designed to analyze the distribution of HIV-1 subtypes, temporal instructions and transmission dynamics between epidemiological groups. Methods : 1,280 Koreans had been diagnosed as HIV seropositive during the period 1985 to 2000. Among them, 134 individuals were selected for this molecular epidemiological study. 134 DNAs were isolated from uncultured or cultured peripheral blood mononuclear cells. V3-V5 (0.7 kb) fragment of HIV-1 env gene was amplified by nested polymerase chain reaction and was sequenced. Results : HIV-1 isolates from thirty-seven homosexuals were all subtype B (100%). On the other hand, 66 isolates from 94 heterosexuals were subtype B (70%) and 28 were non B subtypes (30% : 13 A, 4 C, 2 D, 8 E , 1 G). Only subtype B strains were isolated from 73 males who were infected with HIV inside Korea while 16 B and 20 non B subtype strains were isolated from 36 males who were HIV infected outside of Korea. However, B and non B strains were isolated half and half from females who were infected inside Korea except one. Conclusion : The HIV-1 subtype B strains are prevalent in Korea from the early HIV infection until present in both homo and heterosexuals. Non B strains have been transmitted from men who were infected outside Korea to their spouses and casual partners. So, we need further study to monitor subtype B and non B HIV transmission in epidemiological groups of Korea, (Korean J Infect Dis 33:311∼318, 2001)

      • 원발성 난소 소세포암 2례

        Two cases of primary small cell carcinoma of the ovary occurred. One was a case of 43-year-old woman associated with hypercalcemia and the other was a case of 40-year-old woman with pulmonary type. Ovarian small cell carcinoma of the hypercalcemic type have clinicopathological, immunohistochemical, ultrastructural, and flow cytometric features that from differ from those of small cell carcinomas of the pulmonary type. It is important for therapeutic reasons to distinguish these two types of ovarian tumors from each other and from a variety of malignant small cell tumors that ovary primarily or secondarily. So, we reported these cases with a brief review of the concerned literatures.

      • 외음부와 자궁에 생긴 평활근종 1예

        The leiomyomas of the vulva are rare benign tumors the incidence is 0.024%~0.55% in women. There are no relationship between leiomyomas of the vulva and uterus. But there are some reports that leiomyomas of the vulva and uterus simultaneously. The leiomyomas of the vulva present without symptoms and excision with biopsy is treatment of choice. Tumors of the gynecological apparatus may present without symptoms, or they may mimic other common gynecological conditions. Because of this, any vulva mass must be considered cautiously. We reported this case with a brief review of the concerned literatures.
