Objetives : In order to provide useful data tbr the further clinical studies with Korean alcohol-dependent patients, enrollment and non-relapse rates were investigated while alcohol-dependent patients wcre followed up for 24 weeks. Methods : The subjects of this study were alcohol-dependent male patients who, for the first time, visited a hospital among 3 groups of hospitals, University Hospital, General Hospital or Mental Hospital, or those who needed to be followed up after discharge from those hospitals. After assigning 12 subjects to each hospital, we investigated enrollment and non-relapse rates while cognitive-behavioral therapy and pharmacotherapy were provided. Results : 1) Forty-eight patients were enrolled and the rate of enrollment was 36.4%. The enrollment rate in the University Hospital group was 52.1%, in the General Hospital group 50.0%. and in the Mental Hospital group 10.4%. 2) In 48 patients, non-relapse rate was 27.1% at 12 week and 18.8% at 24 weeks after starting follow-up. It was 24.4% and 20.0% at 12 and 24 weeks, repectively, in the University Hospital group while the General Hospital group showed 33.3% and 16.7%, respectively, and the Mental Hospital Group showed 20.0% at both 12 and 24 weeks. Conclusion : These results provide important data for further clinical studies of Korean alcohol-dependent patients.

In this paper, arterial pulse mesurement system is developed to measure the signal generated by the beating from a living body. These signals gathered by the sensors are amplified, and then are transferred to multi-channel of computer. Intel I8051 is used to control the data of the arterial pulse. The signal period of analized arterial pulse can be displayed either in time and frequency domain. The data in freqency domain can be quickly converted into time domain by applying FFT. Displays in time domain can be adjustable according to the voltage and scale.

The purpose of this study is to examine and propose a high quality blade manufacturing method by applying ELID grinding technology to machining the tungsten carbide blade edge for MLCC sheet cutting. In this study, experiments are performed according to the abrasive type of grinding wheel, grinding method and grinding direction using the non-stop continuous dressing ELID grinding technology. By comparing and analyzing the chipping phenomena and surface roughness of both the blade grinding surface and the processed surface, a method for machining the tungsten carbide blade for cutting MLCC sheet is proposed. From the analysis of the surface roughness and chipping phenomena, it is confirmed that the use of diamond abrasive is advantageous for the blade machining. In addition, it succeeds in the machining of 6㎛ fine blade without any chipping, by using the grinding wheel #4000 with the diamond abrasive.
Experimental Analysis of Small Drone Polarimetry Based on Micro-Doppler Signature

<P>We present a polarimetric analysis of small drones from different aspect angles. Polarimetric analysis can provide more information of a target, since the returned radar signal is affected by different wave polarization. The analysis is performed with micro-Doppler signature (MDS) to investigate micromotions of the drone detected by the radar. We measured operating small drones in an anechoic chamber from two aspect angles, 0 degrees and 90 degrees. An outdoor experiment was carried out with metal clutters for verification in real environment. The indoor analysis result shows that copolarized antenna receives signals better than cross polarized when the aspect angle is 0 degrees, and vice versa. We also verified that cross-polarized antenna receives MDS from the drone better than copolarized antenna, from outdoors when an aspect angle is almost 90 degrees. By utilizing the polarimetric characteristic of the drone at this frequency band, it is preferable to use a polarimetric radar for drone detection.</P>

위에서 발생한 위임파종은 위에서 드물게 발생하는 양성 질환이며 진단 및 치료가 어려운 질환이다. 임상적 양상, 내시경, 방사선 및 조직검사소견이 수술전에 진단을 하는데 일반적으로 도움을 주지 못한다. 이 질환의 조직학적인 검사만 진성 임파종으로부터 위임파종을 구별하는 유일한 방법이다. 위아전절제술을 진단 및 치료목적으로 시행하여야 한다. 저자들은 위임파종에 관한 문헌고찰과 더불어 한 예를 보고하는 바이다. Psedolymphoma is an uncommon benign lesion of the stomach that posses a difficult problem in dignosis and management. The clinical manifestation and endoscopic, radiologic and biopsy findings are not generally helpful in making this dignosis preoperatively. Histologic examination of the lesion is the only reliable method that distinguishes pseudolymphoma from true lymphoma. Subtotal gastric resection is done for diagnostic as well as for therapeutic purpose. We report one case and review the literature to illustrate the feature of pseudolymphoma.

본 논문에서는 연직바람관측장비에 적용 가능한 64배열 능동위상배열안테나에 대한 연구 결과를 기술하였다. 주요 구성부인 위상배열안테나는 인접 안테나와 격리도를 개선한 Bended 다이폴 안테나의 형태이며, 시스템 파라미터 분석에 근거하여 64개의 단일 송수신 모듈을 설계하였다. 특히 단일 송수신 모듈은 위상 및 감쇄 제어 기능이 있어, 능동위상배열안테나의 핵심 역할을 한다. 이를 통해 개발된 64배열 능동위상배열안테나는 적합한 안테나 이득 및 빔폭 특성과 함께 전자적 제어에 의한 20° 빔 조향 각도에서 왜곡 없는 우수한 방사 특성을 확인하였다. 그러므로 본 논문에서 개발한 64배열 능동위상배열안테나는 연직바람관측장비 개발에 적용 가능함을 검증하였다. In this study, we demonstrate the results of a 64-array active phased antenna for radar wind profiler. The main part, the active phased array antenna, had the form of a bent dipole antenna with improved isolation from the adjacent antenna. Based on the system parameter analysis, 64 transmit/receive modules(TRMs) were designed. In particular, the TRMs have the function of phase/attenuation control, which plays a key role in the active phased array antenna. Measurement results of the 64-array active phased antenna, with a 20° beam steering angle with electronic control, showed the proper antenna gain, good beamwidth characteristics, and excellent radiation characteristics without distortion. These results indicate that the active phased array antenna can be applied to radar wind profilers.

Purpose: We performed this study to assess the suitability of conventional angiography (CA) vs. multi-detector row helical CT angiogram (MD-CTA) as a method of preoperative diagnostic imaging for low extremity arterial surgery. Methods: From February 2004 to September 2006, 23 patients (4 claudicants, 19 limb-threatening ischemia) were studied with CA and MD-CTA preoperatively. The site and degree of stenotic or occlusive lesions in arterial segments from the renal artery to the dorsalis pedis artery were compared with both methods. We also compared the surgical inflow and outflow site changes in preoperative planning based on CA and MD-CTA and the final outcome. Additional diagnostic value and test-related complications were also analyzed. Results: The median age of patients was 68 years old (range: 43∼89 years), with a male to female ratio of 1.3:1. Twenty-three patients had CA after an MD-CTA scan. One hundred fifty lesions were detected in these patients. The total ratio of consistency for occlusion in CA vs. MD-CTA was 69.6%. Three patients received amputation treatment and eleven patients received a bypass operation. The agree ment between the preoperative plan based on MD-CTA and the final operation was 100%, even in critical limb ischemia. There were no serious complications related to the tests. Conclusion: These findings suggest that MD-CTA is an adequate preoperative imaging study of infrainguinal arterial surgery and may be substituted for conventional angiography without any serious complications.
