The architectures of various logic circuits utilized in computer and other devices have become more complex. Because of considerable probability of consequent errors, it is necessary to adapt self correction technique in other to maintain reliabity of logic circuits. For the purpose of this, redundancy technique is generally used and LSr makes possible to realize it. In this paper a synthesis procedure for designing a single-failure-tolerant shift register, which is one of basic parts in arithmetic units of computer, is. presented. In addition to failure-tolerant function, parallel data input-output.. shift-right and left functions are also encountered.

검수삭제 In this paper, an efficient method for simplifying switching functions by computer was presented. The same format of input/output functions to the usual one was designed, appropriate data structures were introduced to save storages and several efficient procedures were choosen to improve computiong speed. It was implemented with FORTRAN-77 to maintain compatibility among computer models and it's correctiness and performance were tested with various sample data on VAX-11 system.

The cyclone/filter pack sampling system was used to collect data set of the fine particles in the industrial complexes in Banwol. The data set was collected during forty different days with 24 hour sampling period from October 21, 2006 through July 27, 2007. The annual mean concentrations of PM2.5(dp<2.5 μm), SO42-, NO3-, and NH4+ in the particulate phase were 52.1, 6.24, 5.45 and 4.96 μg/m3, respectively. Seasonal variation of PM2.5 concentrations was significant, with the highest concentration in the winter and the lowest in the spring. The average PM2.5 concentration in Banwol was approximately 2 times higher than that new national air quality standard. Among the major ionic species SO42- showed the highest concentration, followed by NO3- and NH4+. SO42-, NO3-, and NH4+ were also the dominant ionic species, constituting 12%, 10% and 10% of the total mass of water-soluble ions, respectively. PM2.5, NO3- and NH4+ were higher during the winter. The low correlations were found among PM2.5, SO42-, NO3- and NH4+ during all seasons.

A hybrid-driven algorithom for load balancing in a parallel processing was proposed in this paper. The algorithm is composed of the supply-driven method and demmand driven method. An interpreter, called Llisp, which is an adapted version of Plisp, has been implemented for testing the derived algorithm. Test was performed on an experimental system with four IBM-PC. From the test results, it was substantiated that the proposed algorithm has improved performance about 13 per cent.

Variations in PM10 concentration from 7 Chungcheongbuk-do air monitoring stations operated by the government were analyzed in 2013. The average concentrations of PM10 in seven sites were as follows (Bokdae (71 ㎍/㎥) > Sacheon (65 ㎍/㎥) > Chungju (64 ㎍/㎥) > Songjeong (61 ㎍/㎥) > Ochang (57 ㎍/㎥) > Danyang (54 ㎍/㎥) = Jaecheon (54 ㎍/㎥)). Statistical analyses have shown a good correlation (0.79 ∼ 0.98) bwtween 7 air monitoring stations. The results may suggest that air pollution levels in this study area are affected considerably by long-range transport from external areas, such as the coastal zone in China and other cities in South Korea. The evaluation of backward trajectories showed that the highest PM10 concentration levels occurred during NW weather conditions, which influenced by the emission sources of China area. The low PM10 levels generally occurred during E-S weather conditions, which influenced by the East sea and south of Yellow Sea.

In this paper, a simple recognition procedure of handprinted Korean characters is proposed. The procedure is based on the code table of 58 frequent character elements, and the code table was generated by the reduced classes of line segments i.e, "-", "1" and "0". With this procedure, 57.2 per cent of character elements are recognized by the numer of line segments and nodes and 85.7 per cent of remains are recognized by the line segmets which are conected to the maximum node. Four leften vowels are recognized by the existance of any line segment at the leftsied of the top-vertical line segment.
