        두개강내로 전이된 Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma 2례 : 증례보고 Report of Two Cases

        The authors describe two cases of unusual intracranial metastatic adenoid cystic carcinomas. A 42-year-old woman had a right pariental epidural metastatic mass. presumed hematogenous. spread from a primary tumor in the parotid gland. In second case, a 32-year-old man had a intracranial metastatic adenoid cystic carcinoma mimicking calcified psammomatous meningioma on CT scans. We present these unusual cases with a review of relevant literature and a discussion of possible pathogenesis.

      • 달맞이꽃 종자유가 마우스의 혈장, 간장 및 신장조직 중 지질함량에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of evening primrose oil on the lipid contents of plasma, liver and kidney tissues in mouse. Seventy male mice of ICR strain with average weight of 27±3g were divided into five groups according to various oils feeding. The mice were sacrificed after 10, 20, 30 days of feeding periods. The result are summarized as follows: The chemical compositions of evening primrose seed contained 28.21 of crude fat, 27.30% of crude fiber and 10.44% of crude protein. The mineral compositions of evening primrose seed contained chiefly 817mg% of calcium. The fatty acids of evening primrose oil contained 74.0% of linoleic acid and 8.9% of γ-linolenic acid. At the 30day of experimental period, the concentrations of total-cholesterol, VLDL-LDL-cholesterol, tryglyceride and phospholipid in plasma were olw in soybean oil and evening primrose oil groups. These lipid concentrations in evening primrose oil group were significantly lower than those in other group. At the 30day of experimental period, the ratio of VLDL·LDL/HDL in plasma was significantly low in evening primrose group. At the 30day of experimental period, the concentration of total-cholesterol in kidney tissue was low in soybean oil and evening primrose oil groups. At the 20day and 30day of experimental period, the concentrations of triglyceride and phospholipid were significantly low in evening primrose oil groups.

      • Paraquat 독성에 미치는 Dicumarol과 Allopurinol의 병합 투여 효과

        Despite intensive investigation into paraquat toxicity, neither the final cytotoxic mechanism nor a clinically useful antidote has been discovered. The mechanism of paraquat cytotoxicity is also debatable, but it is generally accepted that a redox reaction occurs between reduced paraquat and molecular oxygen. The intracellular reduction of paraquat occurs by various enzymes, such as DT-diaphorase, xanthine oxidase and glutathione reductase. In present study, we investigated that the effects of allopurinol, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, and dicumarol, a DT-diaphorase inhibitor, in paraquat-intoxicated rats. The survivals of paraquat-intoxicated rats were increased by allopurinol treatment compared to paraquat-treated control rats , but not effected by dicumarol treatment. The activity of xanthine oxidase in the liver of allopurinol-treated rats was decreased and DT-diaphorase activity in liver of dicumarol treated rats was also decreased compared to normal control rats. The contents of glutathione in liver of paraquat treated rats was decreased but in paraquat+allopurinol treated rats, the decrements of glutathione contents was reduced but in paraquat+dicumarol treated rats, liver glutathione level was not changed compared to paraquat-treated rats. These results suggest that paraquat toxicity maybe reduced by administration of allopurinol but dicumarol did not have such effects .

        The methods for the improvements of curriculum of the Department of Industrial Chemistry Education were examined in some detail discussing the following items; 1) Comparison and analysis of the new curriculum with the old of the Department of Chemical Industry in technical high school. 2) Examination of the current curriculum of the Department of Industrial Chemistry Education in Industrial Education College. 3) Suggestion of the improved curriculum suitable for the students in the Department of Industrial Chemistry Education.

      • 신발 제조업에의 린 생산방식 도입

        This paper is concerned with a lean production system to improve the productivity of shoes manufacturing industries. For this purpose, this research first reviews the environmental characteristics of shoes manufacturing industries and invetigates the current problems of shoes production systems. Shoes manufacturing process roughly consists of three process lines shoes uppers line, shoes soles line, and assembling line of shoes uppers and soles. Two major problems in shoes production system are a large amount of work-in-process(WIP) inventories, and the low rate of matching shoes uppers and soles in an assemblying line. Most of shoes manufacturing companies have more than a 3-days WIP inventories in every process line to avoid the blocking the production. Particularly the assemblying line has 5-7days buffers of shoes uppers and soles to maximize the productivity of manufacturing final shoes, however, the matching rate of shoes uppers and soles in the assemblying line is about 50%. These problems are from a low efficiency in inventory control mainly due to (1) too many order specification of sizes, colours, types and different due dates, and (2) a large amount of WIP inventories. To reslove above mentioned problems, we sugggest a lean production system of pull-method for reduction of WIP inventories and improvement of matching rate of shoes uppers and soles in assemblying line. Compared to a push production system(current production system), a pull production system may have a number of adventages in controlling inventories and balanced match of the sole parts and uppers parts when it applied to shoes manufacturing process. As an alternative to control the pull production method, we design a Kaban for production and inventory control. Also we design the Kaban circulations model for the production lines and inventory stores, and a shoes manufacturing information system to incorporate the Kaban system. We expect that the effective adoption of the pull production system to shoes manufacturing system will show better results in improving the matching rate, and reducing the WIP inventories and production lead time. These effects may also give more flexible production planning and raw matiarial procurement planning. We finally consider this research would be helpful in designing the lean shoes production system

      • Constituents Analysis of Amino Acid and Antioxidative Activity from Cultivated Callus and Rhizome in Rhodiola sachalinensis

        The material of Rhodiola sachatinensis collected from an alpine region of the west-northern China. For analysing the effect, 1 used Rhodiola sachatinensis s rhizome and cultivated callus. In EtOAc, BuOH, H₂0separation the plant showed strong antioxidative activity, but not in Hexane. The radical scavenging effect of EtOAc(RC50, 35(g), BuOH(RC50, 43(g), H₂0(RC50, 50(g) fraction and MeOH extract(RC50, 50(g) of the Rhodiola sachatinensis was comparable to that of synthetic antioxidant BHA(RC50, 14(g) and α-Tocopherol(RC50, 12(g). Total amino acid concentration of plant of In nature condition were 18,009ppm, and major components were arginine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid and valine. The ratio of essential/total amino acid on plant of In nature condition was 46.93%. Total amino acid concentration of callus of In vitro condition were 32,435ppm, and major components were valine, histidine, lysine and leucine. The ratio of essential/total amino acid on callus of In vitro condition was 56.07%. was 56.07%.

      • Plant Regeneration and Bulblet Formation of Allium wakegi Araki

        Allium wakegi was cultured shoot tip in the condition of light culture. The Allium wakegi added plant growth regulator was observed of plant regeneration and bulblet formation. Callus Induction and growing rate was the best of 78% when added alone 2,4-D 0.5mg/L. In the formation of shoot, its regeneration rate was 96% when added BA 0.5mg/L in the light culture condition. When BA 0.5mg/L and NAA 0.5mg/L mixed and BA 0.5 mg/L and NAA 1.0mg/L mixed, the rates were 99% and 97% respectively, and these conditions were suitable for forming shoot. In the formation of roots, when added NAA 2.0mg/L in the light culture condition, the regeneration rate was 90.6 % and the roots were abnormal. When added NAA 1.0mg/L, the rate was 82 % and the highest. In the formation of bulbs, when BA 05mg/L and NAA 1.0mg/L mixed, the root generantion and its size in the bulbs was the best compare to other treatment experiments.

      • 고등학교 축구 지도자의 리더십 행동유형과 선수 만족도의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to examine behavioral types of efficient soccer coaches by identifying relationship between athletic satisfaction and leadership behavior types of high school soccer coaches. who have an impact on soccer players. The study also took a closer look at the types of leadership behavior shown by soccer players depending on their school level, position and status-whether or not a key player or a bench warmer. A total of 287 high school soccer players were subjected to the study and the Leadership Scale for Sport (LSS) and the Satisfaction Scale for Soccer Players were used to obtain the study results. In terms of leadership behavioral type by school level. good schools were found to hold higher levels of perception on instruction behavior. autocratic behavior. democratic behavior and social support behavior than the relatively poor schools. No significant difference was found in terms of leadership behavior type by position. However, the analysis on the leadership behavior type by players status showed that the key players had a higher perception on instruction and training behaviors than the bench warmers. According to the athletic satisfaction by school level, no significant difference was found in sub-variables. The same was true for both athletic satisfaction by position and athletic satisfaction by players status. In terms of correlation between the leadership behavior type and athletic satisfaction, training and instruction behavior. democratic behavior, social support behavior and positive feedback behavior were found to have a significant correlation with the sub-variables of athletic satisfaction, which are, sport performance satisfaction and psychological satisfaction. Moreover, the leadership behavior type, training and instruction behavior and autocratic behavior were identified as variables that have a significant impact on sport performance satisfaction and psychological satisfaction, which are sub-factors of athletic satisfaction.
