        제왕절개수술에서 저혈압 예방을 위한 수액의 비교 관찰 : 제 1 보:척수마취

        Rheomacrodex-D 10% W/V in dextrose (500 ml) was prophylactically infused before anesthesia over 15 to 20 minutes to prevent hypotension during spinal anesthesia in 20 patients undergoing elective Casarean section. Apgar scores and the incidence and severity of hypotension were compared to results obtained in 20 patients who were given 500 ml of Hartmann's solution. The results were as follows; 1) Mean arterial pressure decreased up to 20 torr from control values in patients hydrated with Hartman's solution and also changed significantly in patients given Rheomacrodex-D (p<0.05). 2) The incidence and severity of hypotension at 10 minutes, and 15 minutes, and 15 minutes after spinal anesthesia (p<0.05) was significantly less in patients given Rheomacrodex-D than in patients hydrated with Hartmann's solution 3) The Apgar scores, both at 1 minute and 5 minutes, were significantly higher (p<0.05, p<0.005) in infants born of mothers given Rheomacrodex-D than in infants whose mothers were given Hartmann's solution. 4) The cases of hypotension defined as a descrease in systolic arterial pressure lower than 100 torr or a decrease in mean arterial pressure to 25% from control values were 12 cases in 20 patients hydrated with Hartmann's solution and 6 cases in 20 patients given Rheomacrodex-D.

        중등도 및 중증고혈압에서 Nifedipine 설하투여의 강압효과에 관한 연구

        In order to assess the efficacy of sublingual nifedipine in the acute treatment of moderate to severe hypertension, a single blind test was done in 30 patients, 10 males and 20 females, aged 40 to 76 years, with moderate to severe hypertension. The patients with mean sitting blood pressure(BP) of more than J40 mmHg received sublingual placebo, and BP and pulse rate(PR) were measured in sitting position 10,20 and 30 minutes after the sublingual placebo was given. The patients with post-placebo 30 minutes sitting mean BP of less than 13pmmHg were excluded from the study. The placebo treatment period was followed by the administration of 10mg of sublingual nifedipine, and BP and PR were measured 10,20,30 and 45 minutes after nifedipine was given. BP decreased with placebo treatment(p$lt;0. 01 by paired t-test, preplacebo vs. post-placebo 30 minutes). With sublingual nifedipine BP started to fall in 10 minutes and reached the lowest levels in 30 or 45 minu1es. The systolic BP decreased from 198.0±21.4mmHg to 159±20.4mmHg, diastolic BP from 122.5±13.0 mmHg to 103.2±14.4 mmHg and mean from 147.7±13.4 mmHg to 121.7±14.8 mmHg 45minutes after nifedipine(p$lt;0.01 by paired t-test). The average fall in systolic BP/diastolic BP/mean BP 45 minutes after nifedipine was 39/19/26 mmHg(p$lt;0. 001, by paired t-test). The maximal fall in systolic BP correlated better with pretreatment value(r=0.42) than the maximal fall in diastolic pressure(r=0.21), PR increased from 79±12 to 87±11/minute with nifedipine(p$lt;0.001, by paired t-test). Side effects were mild facial flushing(16.7%) and palpitation (3.3%). The findings suggest that a dose of 10mg of sublingual nifedipine is a simple, effective and safe method for the acute treatment of moderate to severe hypertension and can be used as a non-injecting alternative agent for the treatment of hypertensive emergency.

        Duodenal obstruction is the third leading cause of intrinsic obstruction of the alimentary tract in the newborn, the other causes are imperforate anus and esophageal atresia. If the obstruction is incomplete, as with a fenestrated duodenal membrane, the presentation of the symptoms may be delayed and the diagnosis overlooked. And so they are rarely diagnosed in the adult. Diagnosis can be made by contrast duodenography but is more definitive with endoscopy. This is the first case report of a 21-year-old female with duodenal membrane, associated with incomplete rotation of intestine and uterus bicornis, diagnosed by hypotonic duodenography and endoscopy, preoperatively, and successfully treated with duodenoduodenostomy.

        0.2wt% SbI3 첨가 90% Bi2Te3-(10-x)% Sb2Te3-x% Sb2Se3 고용체 합금의 전기적특성 및 열전특성

        Electrical and thermoelectric properties of the 0.2 wt% SbI₃- doped n-type 90% Bi₂Te₃-(10-x)% Sb₂Te₃-x% Sb₂Se₃ single crystals have been investigated at temperatures ranging from 77K to 600K. The carrier concentration and Seebeck coefficient were independent of the Sb₂Se₃ content. With increasing the Sb₂Se₃ content, the electrical resistivity increased and Hall mobility decreased, which was attributed to the lattice distortion. The thermal conductivity decreased with increasing Sb₂Se₃ content, which was mainly due to the decrease of the electronic thermal conductivity. With increasing the Sb₂Se₃ content, the maximum figure-of-merit decreased and was shifted to the lower temperature. The 0.2 wt% SbI₃-doped 90% Bi₂Te₃-5% Sb₂Te₃-5% Sb₂Se₃ single crystal showed the maximum figure-of-merit of 1.65×10^(-3)/K at 280K.

        (100-x)%Bi2Te3-x%Sb2Te3(x≥66.7) 단결정의 전기적 특성과 열전특성

        Electrical and thermoelectric properties of the undoped (100-x)% Bi₂Te₃-x% Sb₂Te₃ (x≥66.7) pseudo-binary single crystals grown by the zone melting method were measured over the temperature range from 77 to 600K. For the (100-x)% Bi₂Te₃-x% Sb₂Te₃ (x≥66.7) alloys, the temperature dependence of the Hall mobility was T^(-1.0) regardless the Sb₂Te₃ contents. The temperature dependences of (m^*/m_o)^(3/2)·μ_c and the effective mass were proportional to T^(-1.5) and T^(-1/3), respectively. The saturated hole concentration decreased with increasing temperature and the slope of the Seebeck coefficient changed at about 350K, which implied the two sub-bands in the valence band. While the 33.3% Bi₂Te₃-66.7% Sb₂Te₃ alloy exhibited the highest figure-of-merit among the undoped Bi₂Te₃-Sb₂Te₃ alloys, the maximum figure-of-merit could be expected fur the 22.5% Bi₂Te₃-77.5% Sb₂Te₃ alloy with optimizing the carrier concentration.

      • 반추동물에서 분리한 혐기성 곰팡이의 성장지표간의 상관관계

        본 시험은 반추위 곰팡이의 성장 지표를 다양한 방법으로 측정하고, 이들과 실제 곰팡이 biomass와의 상관관계를 살펴봄으로써, 혐기성 곰팡이의 성장을 추정할 수 있는 효율적 방법을 검토하고자 수행되었다. 시험에 사용된 균주는 Neocallimastix frontalis C5-1, Piromyces sp. PH-2, Orpinomyces sp. OH-4로서 한우와 Holstein 젖소에서 분리된 것이며, 2, 4, 6일 배양후, gas production, pH를 측정하고, 원심분리 후 상층액증의 acetate 및 total carbon를 측정하였으며, 곰팡이 균체를 수거하여 freezed dryweight 및 fungal protein과 chitin을 측정하고, 주요 성장 지표간의 상관관계 (correlation coeffciency)를 검토하였다. 배양시간에 따른 반추위 곰팡이의 biomass와 성장 지표의 측정결과는 다음과 같다. 반추위 곰팡이의 동결 건조무게는, Neocallimastix frontalis C5-1, Piromyces sp. PH-2는 배양 4일까지는 증가하다가 6일째 측정시 감소하였으나, Orpinomyces sp. OH-4는 계속하여 증가하였다. 배양액의 pH 값은 배양시간에 따라 감소하다가 배양 4일 이후부터는 증가하였으며, 곰팡이가 active growth stage에 있을 때 DM과 역의 상관관계가 있었다. Gas production의 경우 균주에 따른 생산량의 차이가 있었으나, 배양일에 따라 증가하였으며, 곰팡이가 active growth stage에 있을 때 DM과 높은 상관관계가 있었다. 최종 발효대사산물인 acetate의 배양액중의 함량은 배양 4일까지 증가하다가 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, 균주에 따른 차이는 있었으나 DM과 상관관계가 있었다. 그리고 fungal protein과 chitin은 곰팡이의 DM과 높은 상관관계를 나타냈으며, protein과 chitin간에도 높은 상관관계를 나타냈다. 한편, 배양액중의 total carbon의 경우 균주에 관계없이 감소하는 경향을 나타냈으며, 역의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 균주에 따라 차이는 있었지만, 조사된 곰팡이 성장지표들 중에서 배양액의 pH total cabon과 acetate의 농도, 그리고 gas production과 균체 단백질 등이 곰팡이의 건물무게와 상관관계가 높았던 것으로 조사되었다. This study was conducted to find out effective methods for estimating fungal growth by comparing various growth indicators of anaerobic rumen fungi with fungal biomass in vitro. Three different strains of ruminal fungi(Neocallimastix frontalis C5-1, Piromyces sp. PH-2, Orpinomyces sp. OH-4) were isolated from Korean native cow and Holstein dairy cow. Lysophilized dry matter, acetate, total carbon, fungal protein and chitin were determined after 2, 4, 6 days of incubation. Gas production and pH value were determined after 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 days of incubation in Lowe's medium. Fungal biomass of Neocallimastix frontalis C5-1 or Piromyces sp. PH-2 was increased during the initial 4 days of incubation, and thereafter the biomass was decreased by autolysis. On the other hand, fungal biomass of Orpinomyces sp. OH-4 was continuously increased up to 6 day incubation. There was a negative correlation between pH value and fungal dry weight during the active growth stage. The pH values of three different fungi were significantly decreased with the incubation time, but increased after 5 day incubation. Cummulative gas production was somewhat variable among fungal strains, but increased throughout the incubation period. There was a high correlation between cummulative gas production and dry matter (DM) during active growth stage. Changes in acetate concentration of the medium showed a similar pattern to that of fungal dry weight by incubation time. The fungal dry weight of OH-4 was increased during all incubation time but the acetate concentration of Orpinomyces sp. OH-4 was decreased after 4 day incubation. There was a positive correlation between acetate concentration and DM. The fungal protein was found to be a reliable indicator of fungal growth during all incubation days. Total carbon in the medium was decreased regardless of fungal strains and had a high negative correlation with DM during the active growth stage.

        SbI3 를 첨가한 33.3 % Bi2Te3-66.7 % Sb2Te3 열전반도체의 전기적특성과 열전특성

        The temperature dependences of the electrical and thermoelectric properties of the SbI₃-doped 33.3% Bi₂Te₃66.7% Sb₂Te₃ single crystals have been measured at temperatures ranging from 77K to 600K. The scattering parameter of the 33.3 Bi₂Te₃-66.7% Sb₂Te₃ single crystals was determined as s = 0. With increasing the amount of SbI₃ dopant, the hole concentration of the 33.3% Bi₂Te₃-66,7% Sb₂Te₃ single crystal is decreased, resulting in the increment of the Seebeck coefficient and electrical resistivity, and the temperature for the maximum figure-of-merit shifted to lower temperature. A maximum figure-of-merit of 2.3×10^(-3)/K was obtained for 0.3 wt% SbI₃-doped specimen. It has been revealed that. the addition of SbI₃ as a donor dopant is useful in controlling the hole concentration of p-type 33.3% Bi₂Te₃ 66.7% Sb₂Te₃ alloy system.

        Zone melting furnace 온도와 성장속도가 90 % Bi2Se3n 형 단결정의 열전특성에 미치는 영향

        The effects of the zone melting temperature and growth rate on the thermoelectric properties for 0.15 wt% CdI₂ and 0.05 wt% CdCl₂ doped 90% Bi₂Te₃-10% Bi₂Se₃ single crystals were investigated. The Seebeck coefficient and electrical resistivity of the 0.15 wt% CdI₂ doped single crystals were initially decreased along the ingots due to the condensation of iodine in the melts. The sharp increase of the Seebeck coefficient and electrical resistivity at the last-to-freeze region were considered as results of the evaporation of iodine from the molten zone and the compensation of electrons due to the formation of the antistructure defects. The figure-of-merit was enhanced with increasing the zone melting temperature and lowering the growth rate. The single crystels grown at the zone melting temperature of 800℃ and the growth rate of 0.1 ㎜/min exhibited the maximum figure-of-merit of 2.8×10^(-3)/K.

        복사전열 가열로 튜브의 파손방지에 대한 연구

        Radiant heater tubes with an inside burner are designed to transfer the heat generated from the burner to the outside of the tube by radiation. Hence, tube metal must suffer high temperature of approximately 900-1000℃. The radiant tube is usually manufactured by centrifugal casting with high Ni-Cr alloys. In this study, failure analysis results of the radiant tube arc reported. Failure mechanism of the tube was investigated by visual observation of the failed tube, metallographic study of the cracked region and chemical analysis of tube metal and oxide scales. It was argued that the main cause of the cracking is repeated oxidation of the tube metal located beneath the thick oxide scale. Oxidation was caused by abnormally high operating temperature which can be verified by aged microstructure and internal void formation.
