An Ac-type Plasma Display Panel (PDP) operating with Ne-Ar(0.1%) Penning mixture gas is fabicated. The characterics of the panel with electrodes covered with thin and thick dielectric layers are studied. The brightness of the Neon-orange light emitted by the panel measured as function of applied voltage and frequency. As an application, a graphic display system equipped with PDP showing still and moving pictures is made.

개에서 발생한 파열된 전이성 비장 혈관육종 1례

Twelve-year-old, catrated male, weighting 8 kg, Miniature Schnauzer dog was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University with history of depression. Result of blood analysis revealed anemia, thrombocytopenia, azotemia, elevated ALP, ALT and CK. On the radiographic examination, splenomegaly and loss of abdominal serosal detail were observed. Abdominal ultrasonography showed rounded mass of spleen and liver, ascites were observed. Splenectomy was performed and found that splentic tail had been ruptured and two samples from nodules on liver were obtained for histopathology. The result of biopsy revealed that hemangiosarcoma of spleen metastasized to the liver. Carboplatin was chosen as the patient had congestive heart failture. During chemotherapy hemangiosarcoma was metastasized into peritoneum and abdominal cavity. Intraperitoneal chemotherapy was preceded at this moment. After 99 days of initial visit, patient was euthanized due to severe anemia and thrombocytopenia.

We had a result of the treatment as below when is devided Korean medicine Tx.. Western medical Tx., Cooperative Tx.. 1) At the improvement of BP control, an average in Korean medicine Tx. (from 170㎜Hg/100㎜Hg to 150㎜Hg/90㎜Hg), an average in Western medical Tr. (from 170㎜Hg/100㎜Hg to 130㎜Hg/80㎜Hg), an average in Cooperative Tx.(from 180㎜Hg/110㎜Hg to 130㎜Hg/90㎜Hg), generally all pars had improvements of BP control. But it is not significant of each case. 2) At the improvement of symptoms by the apologetics, Cooperative Tx. is profitable in cases of 'GanHwa',' DamEum', 'EumYangYangHer', 'EumHer'. Korean medicine Tx. is superior in case of 'GiChe'. 3) At the improvement of symptoms by a questionnaire, Korean medical Tx., Western medical Tx., Cooperative Tx. groups had improvements, but each practice group didn't have specific significance. Only it was somewhat profitable to Korean medical Tx. in the 210㎜Hg/110㎜Hg, Western medical Tx. in the 180㎜Hg/110㎜Hg, Cooperative Tx, in the 170㎜Hg/90㎜ Hg. 4) There are the apparent improvements in patients whose BP are over 200㎜Hg of Korean medical Tx. group, whose BP are over 190㎜Hg of Western medical Tx. group and whose BP are over 170㎜Mg of Cooperative Tx. group. There are the improvement of diastolic BP in 110㎜Mg(Korean medical Tx., Western medical Tx.) and 90㎜Hg(Cooperative Tx.). 5) At the improvement of Pulse pressure, generally Pulse pressure are decreased. There are similar improvements in all of Korean medical Tx., Western medical Tx., and Cooperative Tx.. 6) At the Symptomatic approvement according to ages, Korean medical Tx., Cooperative Tx. are somewhat good for his twentieth, and Western medical Tx. is somewhat good for his forties. 7) the correlation of Obesity-grade and BP, as Obesity-grade is higher as BP is higher, but there are no similarity in the improvement. 8) At the EAV improvements, as examination into correlation with the point of 1~3th, we could get results as below. There are high improvements of DRHTM, DRALM, DLLYM, DLLIM in Cooperative Tx. There are high improvements of DRPASI, DLLARI in the Korean medical Tx. group. There are high improvements of DRFADM in Western medical Tx. group.

Olfactory neuroblastoma 증례보고

Olfactory neuroblastoma is an uncommon malignant tumor(just over 300 cases have been reported in the medical literature by 1996)arising within the nasal cavity. This tumor has a neuroectodermal cell origin and is believed to specifically arise from the olfactory epithelium. The tumor was ftrst decribed in the French medical literayure by Berger and associates in 1924 by the name esthesioneuropitheliome olfactif. The english version of this term is esthesioneuroblastoma, and current medical literture uses this name interchangeably with olfactory neuroblastoma. We experienced a case of olfactory neuroblastoma in the mxillary sinus. We treated this patient with tumor resection, chmotherapy and radiotherapy. And now, the patient has been following up for 2years 6month, but olfactory neuroblastoma is very rare. SO we report this case with a review of literature.

개에서 발생한 이버멕틴 중독증 1례

A 1-year old, intact male Jin-do dog with ataxia, hypersalivation and anorexia was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University. Ivermectin toxicosis was diagnosed by the history taking, clinical signs, physical examination and neurological examination. After therapy with intravenous fluid and lipid emulsion administration, the clinical signs were found to have significantly improved.

어린 개에서 발생한 선천성 특발성 거대도식증 1례

Three-month-old, intact male, weighting 2.6 kg. Dachshund dog visited to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospotal of Chungnam National University with history of regurgitation. Result of blood analysis was in the normal range. On the radiographic examination, diffuse esophageal dilatation was observed. On the esophagram, esophageal dysmotility was observed. Acetylcholine receptor antibody titer was in the normal range. On the endoscopy, esophagitis was observed. Diagnosis was congenital idiopathic megaesophagus. This is the case report of congenital idiopathic megaesophagus.

상안검거근 절제술과 전두근 전이술을 이용한 안검하수증의 수술결과

The blepharoptosis is the disease which is caused by the congenital or acquired weakness of the levator palpebrae superioris. From September 1984 to December 1992, authors had treated 19 blepharoptosis patients(22 cases of operation), and the operative procedures were chosen according to the patient's levator function : levator resection in cases with levator function above 4mm(6 cases), frontalis transfer in cases with levator function below 2mm(5cases), levator resection(7cases) or frontalis transfer(4 cases) in cases with levator function between 2-4mm. And the operative results were evaluated with the average follow up period of 34.5 months. The results were summarized as follows. 1. 15patients were congenital and 4 patients were acquired type of blepharoptosis and sex ratio was 11:4(male:female) in 15 congenital blepharoptosis patients. 2. We performed 13 cases of levator resection and 9 cases of frontalis transfer. 3. In cases of moderate blepharoptosis, whose levator function is 4-8mm or 2-4mm, results of levator resection and the frontalis transfer are both good. 4. In cases of severe blepharoptosis, whose levator function is 2-4mm, result of levator resection is relatively fair, the frontalis transfer is good. 5. Results of frontalis transfer in acquired type showed excellent regardless of levator function. 6. The incidence of undercorrection after levator resection in congenital blepharoptosis was 72.7%, and the frontalis transfer showed frequent severe complication such as persistent lagophthalmos, exposure keratitis, hollowness of temporal area, headache, overcorrection & undercorrection.

It we consider terminological problems of "Physical Education" and merits or demerits of sports which is to be changed into P.E, because the term "P.E" itself has many problems, we can find some suggestions that it has limitations in its change of term and also, actual problems that it can not be changed into its new term "sports". Meamwhile, the concept that "Education through the physical introduced by early scholars researching on P.E, who have the thought that we must pursuit something more than "to be physical" in order for P.E to be valuable, made a great contribution to its securing a momentous position as one of valuable courses by emphasizing the function of P.E in the area of intellect and emotion. But, the questions not only on its educational effect but also on its impracticable measurement and management weakened its status. Studies and discussions on the academic discipline of P.E, since 1960, have presented the concept "Human Movement" as the subject of research, afterwards the discussion of academic discipline of P.E has become heated much more than ever.

외음부에 발생한 혈관근육섬유아세포종 1례

We present a case of angiomyofibroblastoma of the vulva in a 32-year-old woman. The asymptomatic lesion measured 4×3cm and appeared as a gray-white myxoid mass on cut sections Histologically, it appeared as a relatively well-circumscribed spindle cell proliferation with alternating hypercellular and hypocellular areas and proliferation of thin-walled blood vessels. Immunohistochemically, the stromal cells expressed vimentin, CD34 and progesterone receptor, but not desmin, α-smooth muscle actin, S-100 protein and estrogen receptor. 정보화계획과 예산의 연계성에 관한 연구 : 정보화촉진 기본계획(1996-2000) 중 사회간접자본정보화촉진계획을 중심으로 Concentrated on the Social overhead capital Information accelerating plan

정보화가 국가경제의 발전에 중요한 개념으로 등장하였다. 정보화를 추진하기 위한 계획이 예산과 얼마나 잘 연계가 되느냐를 분석하고 그 요인을 찾는 것이 이 논문의 목적이다. 정보화촉진 기본계획 16개 중 사회간접자본정보화촉진계획만을 분석의 대상으로 삼았다. 이는 종합물류정보전산망, 지능형교통시스템(ITS), 국가지리정보체계(GIS), 자동차 관련민원 행정정보망, 산업입지정보시스템, 건설사업지원통합정보시스템 등으로 나누어지는데, 대체로 계획된 예산에 많이 못 미치는 예산만이 집행 된 것으로 나타났으나, 적은 예산으로도 사업이 완성된 경우는 계획과 예산이 연계된 것으로 판단하였다. 계획과 예산의 비연계요인으로 파악한 것은 조직적 요인, 전문성의 요인, 단년도 예산회계제도의 문제, 정보화계획자체의 특성요인, 평가의 문제 등이다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 앞으로 계획을 입안하는데 있어서 참고자료로 삼아야 할 것이다. Information-oriented policy is very important concept lately. To be a advanced information-oriented nation, a plan and budge should be linked well. The objective of this paper is to find the degree of linkage of budget and a plan and to analyze why there is great gap between plan and budget. Among the Information accelerating basic plan and Budget, I focused just on the Social overhead capital Information accelerating plan. Most of sub projects did not have enough budget to accomplish their own tasks. But even though the projects didn't have enough budget, some of them were achieved. If so, I regard there is linkage between budget and a plan. The most important reasons of not being linked are organization problem, specialty factor, one year budget accounting system factor, the information plan itself, evaluation problem and so on. Policy makers need to heed all of these problems.
