In this paper, the effect of the angle of each fin on the melting performance of the system is numerically analyzed in a rectangular latent heat thermal energy storage system to which 3 fin with non-uniform fin length is applied. Enthalpy-porosity model is used to investigate phase change process of phase change material. In order to improve the melting performance of the system, the lower fin is maintained at the optimum angle of -20° and the angles of the middle and upper fins are changed from -40° to 40° in 20° increments. The performance of the system is analyzed and evaluated through the distribution of liquid fraction, temperature and velocity vector as well as the melting time required and mean power stored. The melting performance of the phase change material depends on the angle of the fin, and the optimal performance is shown when angle of the upper and middle fins are 0°. 본 연구에서는 핀의 길이가 각각 다른 3중 핀이 적용된 사각형 잠열 저장 시스템에서 각 핀의 각도가 시스템의 용융 성능에 미치는 영향을 수치적으로 분석하였다. 상 변화 물질의 상 변화 과정을 모사하기 위해 enthalpy-porosity 기법을 적용하였다. 시스템의 용융 성능을 향상시키기 위해 하부 핀은 최적 각도인 -20°로 유지하며, 중간과 상부 핀의 각도를 -40°에서 40°까지 20° 간격으로 변경하였다. 시스템의 성능은 액상 분율, 온도 분포, 속도 벡터 분포, 용융 시간 및 저장 평균 동력을 사용하여 분석 및 평가되었다. 결론적으로, 핀의 각도에 따라 상 변화 물질의 용융 성능에 차이를 보였으며 상부와 중간 핀의 각도가 0°일 때 최적의 성능을 보여주었다.

In current trading environments using wireless and wired computer networks, transmission delay could be an important source of the latency between a trading decision and the resulting trade execution. The investors, however, are hardly aware of this latency and how unfair it could be in trading. In this paper, unfairness due to the network latency is modeled and investigated with a probabilistic approach. When hypothetical bid-size Q is given, we investigate how many effective number of orders arrive from the different networks that suffer form different latency. The number of effective orders is a random variable and depends on the relative latency, the probability mass function of which is achieved in closed-form in this paper. We also propose a fairness index based on the number of effective orders and illustrate how to obtain the value in practice using Internet protocol. Though we cannot verify the result in this paper with actual transaction data, the probability model and the result in this paper will help the ordinary investors understand how the network latency affects the trade.

In today's turbulent and severely competing business environment, there is an increasing need for innovations and changes in order for enterprises and companies to gain competitive edges in the market. Therefore firms concern the moderating effects of relative performance evaluation on employee's attitude toward MBO and goal setting behavior. However, acquiring only the frameworks of the MBO system as if it were a trend turned out to be unsuccessful in realizing their initial objective of MBO implementation. The purpose of this study is to use MBO with a strategical and practical tool of business management by presented an operation plan of improvement so that such a factor can be enforced systematically in the operation system MBO of a company. And this research is to offer a practical plan of improvement of MBO so that the performance can be maximized. So this study analysis the operating state and the problems of MBO enforced by domestic and international companies. Therefore it is find the key success factor so that MBO can be operated successfully. Hence, the aim of this paper is to study the introduction of MBO with a solution of improvement. First, there is the meaning that it grasps a practical cause. Second, there is the meaning that it offers the plan of improvement which can be applied systematically in the operating system of MBO that make the key success factor. This improvement can solve the problem exposed in the operation of MBO. And third, there is the meaning that it presents several conditions to operate the MBO successfully in the enterprise.
