        외상성 흉·요추접합부 파열골절의 Kaneda 기구를 이용한 내고정술에 대한 임상적 검토 : Results of Anterior Decompression and Stabilization with Kaneda Device

        The authors report clinical results of twenty-three traumatic thoracolumbar burst fractures treated by internal fixation with Kaneda device after anterior decompression during recent three years. Thoracolumbar injuries made up 28.9% of total spinal injuries and the burst fractures treated by anterior decompression and stabilization with Kaneda device constituted 19.0% of all spinal injuries. The burst fractures occurred most frequently at the age of twenties and thirties. The main causes of injury were fall and vehicle accident. Superior end-plate fracture type was most common according to the types of burst fracture. The first and the second lumbar vertebrae were frequently involved. No patient showed neurological deterioration after surgery. Conus medullaris lesions in burst fractures of the thoracolumbar junction have a high potentiality for functional recovery because the lesions are not due to discontinuity or severe crush injury but due to simple compression by bony fragments. The Kaneda device offered enough stability to enable early ambulation with good alignment and solid fusion.

        In this study, The method to produce anticorrosive paint using reproductive wastepaint was investigated. The liquid-phase resin, BHO-500 and powder-phase paint BHO-300 were produced through wastepaint reproductive process. BHO-500 and BHO-300 could be replaced respectively polyvinylchloride resin and filler, which are thr components of anticorrosive paint. The properties of the anticorrosive paint produced through this process were excellent in comparison with the existing anticorrosive paint.

        Surface albedo from the geostationary Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite (COMS)/Meteorological Imager (MI) observation system

        <P>The surface albedo is an essential climate variable that is considered in many applications used for predicting climate and understanding the mechanisms of climate change. In this study, surface albedo was estimated using a bidirectional reflectance distribution function model based on Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite/Meteorological Imager data. Geostationary orbiting satellite data are suitable for a level 2 product like albedo, which requires a synthetic process to estimate. The authors modified established methods to consider the geometry of the solar-surface-sensor of COMS/MI. Of note, the viewing zenith angle term was removed from the kernel integration used for estimating spectral albedo. Finally, the spectral (narrow) albedo was converted into the broadband albedo with shortwave length (approximately 0.3-2.5 m). This study determined conversion coefficients using only one spectral albedo of visible channel. The estimated albedo had a relatively high correlation with Satellite Pour l'Observation de la Terre/Vegetation and low unweighted error values specific for land types or times. The validation results show that estimated albedo has a root mean square error of 0.0134 at Jeju flux site that indicates accuracy similar to that of other satellite-based products.</P>

        The purpose of this study aims at seeking for the direction which hog farms advance and secondly, investigating the strategy which government step up to export the pork. The results of this study are summarized as follows; The difference between the minimum requirement scale and the real scale of hog alarms is small, so it is possible to be realized for hog farms as a viable farming. The difference between the minimum requirement price and the real price of pork(farm price) is small too, so there is no problem for them to acheive as a viable farming, if they try to improve the quality of pork. But, even if they try to improve the quality of pork and grow as a viable farming, it is not so easy to acheive as a viable farming, therefore government must extend all kinds of technics which improve productivity

      • SDS-Polyacryladmide gel 電氣泳動法에 依한 동부 蛋白質의 遺傳 分析

        交配親 6個 品種과 이들을 二面交雜에 依해 얻은 F1 15個 組合의 동부種實을 SDS-polyacrylamide gel 電氣泳動法에 의하여 蛋白質패턴을 조사하고 品種間의 相互關係 및 各 蛋白質 band의 分子量을 測定한 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1) SDS-PAGE에 의해 분리된 동부의 공통적인 蛋白質 band는 11個가 나타났으며, parent D,E 그리고 F1 BD, CD, DE, DF 組合에서는 몇 개의 분리대가 더 나타났으며 특히 분자량 17,000 Dalton 부근에서는 parent D 그리고 F1 DE, DF組合에서 두개의 분리대로 나타났다. 2) 交配親 中에서 D,E 品種의 蛋白質패턴이 特異하였으며, 이들을 組合으로 한 F1 BD, CD, DE, DF組合에�� 特異性이 나타났다. 3) 분리된 各 蛋白質 band의 分子量은 17,000∼140,000 Dalton 사이인 것으로 推定되었다. Cowpea seed proteins of six parents and their 15 F1 hybrids were separated and the molecular weight of each protein bands were calculated by SDS-Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The results obtained are as follows. 1. Eleven common protein bands were separated in all the parents and F1 hybrids, and three more bands were detected in parents D, E, and F1 BD, CD, DE, DF. Particularly in parent D, F1 DE and DF, two specific protein band were detected in 17,000 Dalton area. 2. Characteristic protein patterns were observed in parent D, E and F1 hybrids which have D and E as parents compared to other varieties. 3. The molecular weights of the each protein band in cowpea were ranged from 17,000 to 140,000 Dalton.

        In this study, the process and equipment to recycle wastepaint were designed and development. The characteristic of this recycling process is to improve the recycling efficiency by dividing the previous recycling process into two processes, liquid-phase process and powder-phase process, with the hardness of wastepaint. As the result of this study, we confirm that this process may be helpful to recycle wastepaint.

        TPL을 이용한 일단위 실거래 가격지수 산정방법에 관한 연구

        2009년 국내에 아파트 실거래가 지수가 공표된 이후, 2016년에는 연립다세대 실거래가 지수가 추가로 공개되었다. 이들 지수의 특징 중 하나는 국내에서 표준화되어 대량 으로 공급된 공동주택을 대상으로 하여 거래쌍을 구성하기 쉽고, 개별특성 또한 파악하기 쉬워 지수를 산정하기에 용이하다는 것이다. 그러나 단독다가구 주택은 표준화되어 공급되지 않아 개별특성을 파악하기가 쉽지 않다. 또한 국내의 경우 아파트 위주로 공급되기 때문에 지수를 만들기 위한 표본이 상당히 부족한 실정이다. 또한 주택가격지수와 연관된 이슈 중의 하나는 주택가격지수가 주식과 같은 금융상품의 기초자산으로 역할을 할 수 있느냐는 것이다. 그러나 주택가격지수가 코스피 지수와 같이 금융상품의 기초자산이 되기 위해서는 투자자나 헷지를 원하는 시장참여자가 시장 변화에 민감하게 대처할 수 있도록 일별 지수가 산정되어야 한다. 그러나 지금까지의 주택가격지수는 자료의 한계로 인해 월별로만 산정되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 한계를 극복하고자 자료에 한계가 있을 때 지수를 산정할 수 있고, 일별로도 중위수를 이용하여 지수를 산정할 수 있는 방법인 Radar Logic사의 TPL 방법을 제시하고자 한다. Since the apartment sales price index using repeated sale data was introduced in 2009, the multi-family house price index was released in 2016. The two-type houses have good characteristics for making indices. For example they have lots of transaction data and lots of stock with standardized type for quality control. However, detached houses in Korea are not supplied in a standardized form and it is difficult to identify individual housing characteristics. Apart from this there is a lack of transaction data to generate sale price index of a detached house since the domestic housing market has been dominated by apartment. The other issue associated with the housing price index is whether the price index could reflect an underlying demand of financial asset such as a stock market. In order to estimate an underlying asset of capital market like the KOSPI index, a daily index should be considered so that the property investors who desire to hedge their investment can timely respond on the market change. Unfortunately, the house price index has been calculated in a monthly base due to a lack of transaction data. This study proposes the ‘TPL method’ of Radar Logic company, which calculates indices even when data exists in a small number and produces the index on a daily basis.

        일 농촌지역의 우울 증상에 관한 역학연구 -위험요인 및 요인구조분석

        연구목적 : 세계적으로 널리 사용되는 우울증 척도인 the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D)을 이용하여 지역사회 주민의 우울증상의 정도를 평가하고, 우울증상의 위험요인을 분석하고, 한국인에서 우울증상의 요인구조를 알기 위해 본 연구를 실시하였다. 방 법 : 경기도 일 농촌 지역의 30세 이상 주민에 대해 무작위 군집 집락 추출을 실시하였고, 훈련된 면담원들이 가정 방문을 통하여 면접 및 자기보고 검사인 CES-D를 실시하였다. 총 1,315명에서 응답을 하였고 응답율은 59.3%이었다. 결 과 : CES-D에 의한 우울증 점수는 0∼5점이 57%정도를 차지하였고, 평균 점수는 남자 7.8점 여자 9.5점으로 비교적 낮은 편이었다. ANCOVA 분석 결과 비결혼, 저학력, 여성이라는 위험요인은 독립적으로 우울증상을 악화시키는 요인이었으나 연령은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. CES-D 결과를 요인분석을 시행한 결과 4가지 요인이 추출되었는데 우울증상 및 신체증상이 한 개의 요인으로, 다른 나라에서 보고되지 않는 정서적 고통이 별도의 요인으로 추출되었다. 결 론 : 국내 역학 조사에서도 외국과 유사한 우울점수 및 위험요인이 확인되었으나 우울증의 요인에서는 특이한 요인이 추출되었다. 한국인에 독특한 우울 반응에 관한 추가 연구가 필요하다. Objectives :The rates, correlates, and factor structure of depressive symptoms in a Korean rural sample were examined using Korean version of the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D). Methods : Door to door visiting survey was conducted by trained interviewers. A random cluster sample of 1,315 respondents, aged 30 and over completed the CES-D scale along with additional sociodemographic questionnaire. Results : In this sample, mean CES-D score of male and female were 7.8 and 9.5, respectively which were lower than those reported previously. Symptoms of depression were most common among the less educated, non-married and female according to ANCOVA. Age was not a significant risk factor for depressive symptoms. Different factor structures emerged from this sample as compared to other studies using this approach. Somatic symptoms and affective symptoms were combined as one factor and emotional hardship emerged as a separate factor. Conclusion : Symptoms scores and risk factors were similar to the results reported in other countries but unique factor structures were found in this study. Further research is needed about the Korean depressive symptomatology and related areas.

        신경세포이주장애질환을 가진 간질환자에 대한 수술 체험

        Neuronal migration disorders(NMD's) are a rare group of development structural lesions characterized by disorganization of cortical architecture with aberrant columnar and laminar neuronal arrangement, often causing intractable seizures. During September 1994 to February 1995, we operated on six patients with NMD to treat intractable seizures. Male to female ratio of these 6 patients was 2 : 4, and mean age at seizure onset was 14 years old(range 6-28 years), indicating early onset of epilepsy. Mean age at seizure surgery was 29 years old(range 23-41 years), and mean follow-up duration after operation was 4 months(range 3-6 months). In their past medical history, three patients had experienced febrile seizure at pediatric age, and one of them had a history of anoxic damage during delivery. Following preoperative localization, the lesion was removed completely in five patients. In the other one patient, part of the lesion was located in the speech and motor area, leading to partial removal. On histologic examination two of them showed cortical dysplasia and the other four revealed microdysgenesis. During follow-up for six months, five patients were free of seizure and in the other one patient, whose lesion was removed incompletely, the frequency of seizure decreased by 95%.

        종 분포 모형을 활용한 새로운 구상나무 서식지 탐색, 그리고 식물보전 활용

        Korean fir(Abies koreana E.H.Wilson 1920), endemic tree species of Korean peninsula, is considered as vulnerable and endangered species to recent rapid environmental changes such as land use and climate change. There are limited activities and efforts to find natural habitats of Korean fir for conservation of the species and habitats. In this study, by applying SDMs (Species Distribution Models) based on climate and topographic factors of Korean fir, we developed Korean fir’s predicted distribution model and explored novel natural habitats. In Mt. Shinbulsan, Youngnam region and Mt. Songnisan, we could find korean fir’s two novel habitat and the former was the warmest(13°C in annual mean temperature), the driest(1,200mm∼1,600mm in annual rainfall) and relatively low altitude environment among Korean fir’s habitats in Korea. The result of SDMs did not include mountain areas of Gangwon-do as habitats of A. nephrolepis, because there were different contributions of key habitat environment factors, summer rainfall, winter mean temperature and winter rainfall, between A. koreana and A. nephrolepis. Our results raise modification of other distribution models on Korean fir. Novel habitat of Korean fir in Mt. Shinbulsan revealed similar habitat affinity of the species, ridgy and rocky site, with other habitats in Korea. Our results also suggest potential areas for creation of Korea fir’s alternative habitats through species reintroduction in landscape and ecosystem level.
