돌봄 담론의 재맥락화에 대한 비판적 담화 연구 ─코로나19 시기와 최근 언론 기사의 비교를 중심으로─

본 연구는 코로나19 시기와 최근의 언론 기사를 비교․분석하여 돌봄 담론이 사회적 맥락 변화 속에서 재맥락화되는 양상을 비판적 담화 연구(Critical Discourse Studies) 관점에서 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석 결과 코로나19 시기 언론 담론에서는 감염병 위기 속 돌봄 공백이 사회적 문제로 가시화되면서도 그 해결 책임은 여전히 가족, 특히 부모에게 귀속되는 양상이 두드러졌다. 최근 기사에서는 돌봄 수행 주체가 청년, 조부모, 친인척 등으로 다양화되고 국가의 역할이 보다 명시적으로 제시되는 변화가 나타났다. 그러나 돌봄 책임의 기본 단위는 가족으로 유지되며 국가 개입 역시 이를 대체하기보다 병존하는 방식으로 구성되었다. 또한 돌봄 수행의 사회적 행위자는 여전히 여성으로 재현되며 남성의 돌봄 참여는 예외적 변화나 정책 성과로 부각되는 경향이 확인되었다. 이는 돌봄 담론의 표면적 변화에도 불구하고 가족 중심성과 젠더화된 책임 구조가 지속되고 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 돌봄 담론의 변화와 지속을 통합적으로 분석함으로써 돌봄 책임의 사회적 재구성과 그 한계를 입체적으로 조명하였다는 데 의의를 지닌다. This study examines how care discourse is recontextualized amid changing social conditions by comparatively analyzing media coverage during the COVID-19 pandemic and recent news articles from the perspective of Critical Discourse Studies. During the COVID-19 period, the care deficit was rendered visible as a social problem, yet responsibility for addressing it was predominantly attributed to families, particularly parents. Recent articles show a diversification of care agents and a more explicit articulation of the state's role; however, the family remained the fundamental unit of care responsibility, with state intervention framed as coexisting alongside rather than replacing family care. Women continued to be represented as the primary agents of care, while men's participation was highlighted as exceptional or a policy achievement. These findings suggest that despite surface-level changes, family-centeredness and a gendered structure of care responsibility persist. This study contributes to an integrated understanding of change and continuity in care discourse, offering a multidimensional examination of the social reconstruction of care responsibility and its limitations.
서비스업 담화에서의 경어법 사용에 대한 사회언어학적 인식 연구

This study investigated the use of honorifics in everyday service discourse, focusing on cafés as a sociolinguistic setting. Based on sociolinguistic interviews with 50 café workers, 200 utterances were collected across three common interactional situations: price announcements, drink delivery, and item location guidance. The honorific pre-final ending -si- appeared in only 7.5% of the utterances, suggesting its limited use in practice. Speakers evaluated the use of -si- in terms of grammaticality, discourse context, the naturalness of combining honorific forms, and politeness strategy. Their perceptions were categorized into five types: grammar-based avoidance, relational orientation, sociocultural distancing, context-driven acceptance, and situational selectivity. The use of final endings also varied based on context. In direct delivery situations, speakers were 3.58 times more likely to use polite informal speech (heyoche), indicating that physical proximity and interactive possibility shape linguistic choices. Meanwhile, familiarity with customers interacted with speakers’ professional role awareness and orientation toward maintaining formality, resulting in more complex patterns of final ending use. These findings suggest that Korean honorifics are not merely grammatical rules; they are socially attuned practices shaped by speakers’ strategic and contextual judgments during interactions

Background and Objectives Recently, mandibular advancement device (MAD) has been used widely used for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) because it can effectively reduce the collapsibility of upper airway during sleep. Although MAD is widely prescribed by otorhinolaryngologists, several studies described its complications arising from the anterior placement of the mandible with long-term use. However, there is still a lack of studies on long-term complications in Korean patients. Subjects and Method Retrospectively, we included a total of 57 OSA patients in the study. In this study, all enrolled OSA patients had used MAD over two years with more than 4 hours/day. Dental consulting and cephalometric analysis were conducted to identify the change of dental and skeletal findings at two different times (baseline and after 2 year). Results The dental findings showed that the overbite and overjet were significantly decreased. Additionally, the proclination of the lower incisors were increased significantly, whereas there was no significant change on the retroclination of the upper incisors. Three patients showed a change of malocclusion type. On the analysis of skeletal findings, we found a significant increase in the sella turcica central point-nasion-supramental point angle and a decrease in the subspinal point-nasion-supramental point angle. Moreover, the anterior lower facial height and anterior facial height were significant increased. Conclusion Consistent with Western studies, our findings suggest that the long-term use of MAD could induce changes in dental and skeletal morphologies in Korean OSA patients. Therefore, clinicians should thoroughly evaluate potential changes in dental and skeletal morphologies when they prescribe MAD to patients with OSA. 보이스피싱 대화의 대화 원형 연구: 수사기관 사칭형을 중심으로

This study examined the dialog pattern in the structure and progress of conversations by analyzing actual voice phishing conversations. The study aimed to reconstruct the Dialog Pattern by synthesizing the structure of the conversation and the pattern of the development process found in several actual conversations. The dialog pattern of voice phishing is divided into six functional phases: approaching the victim, threatening criminal involvement, social isolation, vertical relationship enhancement, induction of withdrawal, and check withdrawal. The process of the voice phishing criminal exercising power over the victim and attempting financial fraud by unilaterally leading the conversation was demonstrated in each derived phase. This study provides basic data for the study of voice phishing conversations and can be used in education related to the prevention of voice phishing damage in the future.
Notch Signaling in Hair Follicle Development

Many studies have represented that Notch activity is critical to determine cell fate decision during hair follicle development. Also, growing results have revealed the pivotal role of Notch signaling pathway in controlling of hair follicle stem cell fates, regulation of hair cycles and resuscitation of injured hair organs. Furthermore, in hair bulb, Notch signaling pathway regulates hair follicle stem cell differentiation. The purpose of this review is to summarize considerable recent evidences in our understanding of Notch signaling and their regulating factors in hair follicle development to maintain their hair follicle homeostasis.
Resveratrol Alters microRNA Expression Profiles in A549 Human Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Cells

Resveratrol is a plant phenolic phytoalexin that has been reported to have antitumor properties in several types of cancers. In particular, several studies have suggested that resveratrol exerts antiproliferative effects against A549 human non-small cell lung cancer cells; however, its me-chanism of action remains incompletely understood. Deregulation of microRNAs (miRNAs), a class of small, non-coding, regulatory RNA molecules involved in gene expression, is strongly correlated with lung cancer. In this study, we demonstrated that resveratrol treatment altered miRNA expression in A549 cells. Using microarray analysis, we identified 71 miRNAs exhibiting greater than 2-fold expression changes in resveratrol-treated cells relative to their expression levels in untreated cells. Furthermore, we identified target genes related to apoptosis, cell cycle regulation, cell proliferation, and differentiation using a miRNA target-prediction program. In conclusion, our data demonstrate that resveratrol induces considerable changes in the miRNA expression profiles of A549 cells, suggesting a novel approach for studying the anticancer mechanisms of resveratrol.
A Case of Sebaceous Carcinoma of the Submandibular Gland

Sebaceous carcinoma of the salivary gland is an extremely unordinary malignancy occurringmainly in the parotid gland. Sebaceous carcinoma arising in the submandibular gland is exceptionaland only three cases have been reported in the literature. We herein present a uniquecase of sebaceous carcinoma of the submandibular gland, the first to be reported in literaturein South Korea. An 85-year-old man visited our hospital complaining of a progressively enlargingsubmandibular mass with tenderness and ipsilateral facial palsy. We performed a wideexcision of the mass with superficial parotidectomy and modified neck dissection. Microscopicand immunohistochemical examinations demonstrated sebaceous carcinoma of low gradedifferentiation. Further adjuvant radiotherapy was rejected and the patient was followed up forfive months. The optimal treatment of sebaceous carcinoma of the salivary gland is still notestablished due to the rarity of the disease. When more cases are reported, the clinicopathologiccharacteristics will be better understood.
H2AX의 BRCA1 NLS domain과 BARD1 BRCT domain 각각과의 in vitro 상호 결합

본 연구에서는 H2AX의 생리학적인 기능 및 분자세포 생물학적 기전 해석에 대한 보다 명확한 정보를 제시하고자, H2AX 관련 단백질들을 literature review 및 생물정보학적인 기술을 이용하여 최적의 결합 단백질체를 40개를 예측하고, 이들 가운데 상호작용 가능성이 높은 BRCA1 와 BARD1 단백질을 선별하여 in vitro 결합실험을 통해 이를 증명하였다. 이들 두 가지의 유전자를 발굴하여, 클로닝하였다. 클로닝된 유전자를 이용하여 두 가지 단백질을 발현 및 정제하였으며, 단백질들의 자체적인 구조에 의한 결합능력을 판단하기 위해 in vitro binding assay법을 실시하였다. 단백질의 구조적 안정과 비특이적 결합을 억제하는 detergent만이 포함된 상태에서, 구조학적 및 물리학적 상호 결합의 유무를 판정할 수 있게 하였으며, BRCA1과 BARD1은 모두 H2AX에 결합함을 확인하였다. 이런 실험 결과를 바탕으로 각각의 단백질에 대해 H2AX와의 최적 결합 부위를 알아내기 위해 각 유전자의 domain을 생물정 보학적으로 분석하였다. 이에 RING domain, NES, NLS 및 BRCT domain에 해당하는 유전자 부분을 새로 클로닝하여, 다시 in vitro 결합실험 및 실험결과에 대한 literature review를 통한 분석을 실시한 결과, H2AX는 BRCA1의 NLS, BARD1의 BRCT domain 부분과 결합하는 것을 확인하였다. H2AX에 대한 BRCA1과 BARD1과의 결합은 DNA repair에 있어 BRCA1의 NLS와 BARD1의 BRCT domain을 통해 H2AX foci의 관련 세포 신호전달 기전에 중요한 역할을 하여 전체적으로 genomic stability에 영향을 미칠 가능성이 농후할 것으로 사료된다. H2AX, a crucial component of chromatin, is implicated in DNA repair, cell cycle check point and tumor suppression. The aim of this study was to identify direct binding partners of H2AX to regulate cellular responses to above mechanisms. Literature reviews and bioinformatical tools were attempted intensively to find binding partners of H2AX, which resulted in identifying two potential proteins, breast cancer-1 (BRCA1) and BRCA1-associated RING domain 1 (BARD1). Although it has been reported in vivo that BRCA1 co-localizes with H2AX at the site of DNA damage, their biochemical mechanism for H2AX were however only known that the complex monoubiquitinates histone monomers, including unphosphorylated H2AX in vitro. Therefore, it is important to know whether the complex directly interacts with H2AX, and also which regions of these are specifically mediated for the interaction. Using in vitro GST pull-down assay, we present here that BRCA1 and BARD1 directly bind to H2AX. Moreover, through combinational approaches of domain analysis, fragment clonings and in vitro binding assay, we revealed molecular details of the BRCA1-H2AX and BARD1-H2AX complex. These data provide the potential evidence that each of the BRCA1 nuclear localization signal (NLS) and BARD1 BRCA1 C-terminal (BRCT) repeat domain is the novel mediator of H2AX recognition.
