      • N-Acetylcysteine이 내독소에 의한 폐장모세혈관 투과성 변화에 미치는 영향

        유리기 흡수 및 호중구 응집 억제 효과가 있는 n-acetylcysteine의 내독소에 의한 폐포모세혈관 투과성의 변화와 폐실질조직의 미세구조 변화에 미치는 영향을 전자현미경적으로 규명하고자 토끼에 E. coli O26:B6 lipopolysacchaside 4.0㎎/㎏을 정맥으로 투여한 후, 그리고 E. coli 내독소 4.0㎎/㎏을 투여한 직후 n-acetylcysteine 150㎎/㎏을 1시간동안 주사하고 그 이후 20㎎/㎏/hr의 양을 계속 주사하면서 내독소 주사후 1, 4, 8 및 20시간째에 각각 3마리씩 관찰하였다. 내독소 투여후 1시간에서 Ⅰ형 폐포세포 표면의 불규칙, 폐포모세혈관 내피세포의 종창 및 pinocytotic vesicle수의 증가, 간질의 부종이 일어났으며 시간이 갈수록 그 소견은 더욱 심해졌고 4시간 이후에는 폐포강내에 삼출물이 축적되었다. 내독소와 n-acetylcysteine을 병합 투여한 군에서는 8시간후에 Ⅰ형 폐포세포 표면의 불규칙 및 내피세포의 종창이 경하게 일어났으며 이러한 소견은 20시간까지 지속되었고 이 때 간질의 부종이 약간 일어났다. 이상의 소견으로 보아 유리기의 흡수 및 호중구 응집의 억제는 내독소에 의한 폐실질의 퇴행성 변화와 내피세포상해에 의한 혈관의 투과성 항진을 완화시킨다고 인정된다. This study was carried out to investigate the effect of n-acetylcysteine, known as free radical scavenger and inhibitor of neutrophil aggregants, on the changes of alveolar capillary permeability in E. coli endotoxemia. the white rabbits were intravenously injected 4.0㎎/㎏ of E. coli O26:B6 lipopolysaccharide. The other rabbits were injected same dose of endotoxin and n-acetylcysteine(150㎎/㎏ for 1 hour initially and 20㎎/㎏/hour continuously) simultaneously. The rabbits were electron microscopically observed 1, 4, 8, and 20 hours after endotoxin injections. Irregularity of surface of type Ⅰ pneumocytes, increase of pinocytotic vesicles and cellular swelling of alveolar capillary endothelium, and interstitial edema had appeared 1 hour after endotoxin injection. These changes were more pronounced with time. Transudation in the alveolar spaces occurred 4 hours after endotoxin injection. However, in the lungs of endotoxin and n-acetylcysteine simultaneously injected group, mild irregularity of surface of type Ⅰ pneumocytes and endothelial swelling had appeared 8 hours after injections. Interstitial edema occurred 20 hours after injections. From these results, it is concluded that absorption of free radicals and inhibition of neutrophil aggregation could suppress retrograde changes of the pulmonary parenchymal tissue and increase of capillary permeability induced by endotoxin.

        This study was to investogate the kinematic patterns of the giant. swing on rings by 3 male gymnastic. The motion was filmed at 60frame/sec high video camera. The result was as follows ; 1. Subj. C showed a large displacement in the wrist J. at phase I and Subj. B showed a large displacement at phase 2, 3, 4. 2. Subj. C showed a large displacement in the hip J. at down swig phase and Subj.B, C showed a large displacement. at upward swing phase. 3. Subj. A showed a large velocity a in the hip J. at phase 1 and Subi. C shooed a large velocity at phase 2, 3, 4. 4. Subj. C showed a large velicity in the shoulder J. at whole phase. 5. Subj. C showed a large angular velocity in the hip J. at down swing phase and subj. B showed a large angular velocity at upward swing phase. 6. Subj. B showed a larege angular velocity in the shoulder J. at. phase 1, and Subj. C showed a large angular velocity at phase 2, 4 also subj. A showed a large angular velocity at phase 3.

        자동차공장 용접공의 망간폭로와 신경행동기능의 관련성

        목 적 : 저농도의 망간폭로가 용접작업자의 충추신 경계에 미치는 영향과 망간의 폭로수준 및 생물학적 지표와 신경행동기능과의 관련성을 평가하기 위하여 자동차공장에서 하루 한시간 이상의 용접작업을 하는 용접공 49명과 연령과 교육수준을 짝짓기한 대조군 49명을 대상으로 단면조사연구를 수행하였다. 방 법 : 두 군의 인구학적 변수, 작업관련 변수를 조사하고 용접공의 용접 작업경력, 작업량, 용접의 종류, 호흡기 보호구의 착용여부, 취급하는 유해물질의 유무를 면접을 통하여 조사하고 망간흄 농도와 혈중 망간농도를 측정하고 누적폭로지수를 산출하였다. 신경행동검사로는 SPES중 단순반응시간, 부호숫자 짝짓기, 숫자 외우기 및 손가락 두드리기를 실시하였다. 결 과 : 단순반응시간과 부호숫자 짝짓기의 평균반응시간과 숫자 외우기의 외운 숫자의 길이는 두군에서 유의한 차이가 없었다. 손가락 두드리기에서 양손 모두에서 용접공의 두드린 횟수가 적었으나 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 손가락 두드리기의 두드린 횟수가 용접기간이 길수록, 하루에 수행하는 용접작업시간이 길수록 적었으며 피복아크용접을 주로 하는 용접공의 신경행동 기능이 다른 용접작업을 하는 군에 비해, 호흡기 개인보호구를 착용하지 않는 군이 착용하는 군에 비해 신경행동기능이 낮았다. 망간흄 농도가 0.02 mg/m3 이상인 군에 비해 0.01 mg/m3 이하인 군이, 혈중 망간농도 1.00 ㎍/dl 이상군에 비해 0.99 ㎍/dl 이하의 군이, 누적폭로지수 0.05 이상의 군에 비해 0.04이하의 군에서 신경행동검사 성적이 낮았다. 결 론 : 자동차 공장 용접공은 대조군에 비하여 신경행동기능이 차이가 유의하지는 않았으며, 신경행동검사 항목 중 지속적인 빠른 속도의 운동능력을 요구하는 손가락 두드리기가 용접공의 신경행동기능의 저하를 민감하게 반영하는 것으로 추정된다. Objectives . A cross sectional study was carried out in the welders exposed to manganese and control group. The aim of this study was to assess the adverse effects of manganese on central nervous system of welders. Methods : The study group consisted of 49 welders and the reference group, 49 workers matched with welders for age and educational level In automobile manufacturing company. Concentration of manganese in welding huge, in blood, and cumulative exposure index (CEI) were determined for each subject. For each group, computerized neurobehavioral test including Simple Reaction Time, Digit Symbol, Digit Span, and Finger Tapping Speed of Swedish Performance Evaluation System were applied. Results : Exposure level of manganese in welders were very low (mean CEI, 0.069) . Welders exposed to manganese had slower response speed, slower motor steadiness, and shorter memory span than control group. But these differences were not statistically sign nificant. The performance of Finger Tapping Speed tended to lower as environmental and biological exposure index got higher, Other neurobehavioral tests were found to have a little association with the exposure indices. Conclusions . There was no significant difference of neurobehavioral performance between welders and control group. This study indicates that Finger Tapping Speed mea suring motor steadiness might be a one of useful tests for early detection of adverse effects of welding on central nervous system.

        성인의 급성 심장사에서 정상 심장례의 분석

        The authors analysed 53 cases of sudden cardiac death(SCD) without prominent structural abnormalies of heart out of witnessed 300 cases. Thirty four cases were associated with sleep and 19 with activity or rest. Twenty one cases were classified as having normal hearts, and the rest as structurally mild abnormal ones. Male was predominant, and almost of the victims were suffered in their twenties or thirties. All cases collapsed instantaneously or in very short time with various and not specific terminal symptoms. Inducing or trigger factors are not clarified in almost of the cases. Mechanisms or causes of death could not be defined clearly. We concluded that careful heart examination with detailed clinical history under the appropriate postmortem investigation system is only effective approach for the true mechanism and cause of death.

      • 흰쥐 이자 Insulin과 Neuropeptide Y 분비세포의 발생에 관한 면역조직화학적 연구

        Cells immunoreactive to insulin(INS-IR) and neuropeptide Y(NPY-IR) were found in prenatal(E15, 17, 19) and postnatal(P0, 5, 10, 15, 30, adult) rat pancreas using immunohistochemistry. Pancreatic INS-IR and NPY-IR were detected by day E17. They were found initially in the interlobular pancreatic duct, intralobular pancreatic duct and pancreatic islet gradually. Especially, INS-IR was detected in the dorsal pancreatic bud by day E19. The INS-IR and NPY-IR patterns were nearly similiar to each other, and many cells revealed colocalization of INS and NPY until day P10. But there was a change between them by the day P15 ; central INS-IR cells and peripheral NPY-IR in the pancreatic islet. The number of pancreatic islets per square millimeter of pancreatic tissue were decreased, and the number of immunoreactive endocrine cells per islet was increased according to development. These results suggest NPY may play a role in the development of the pancreatic endocrine cells.

        메조기공의 실리카-티타니아 코겔의 제조와 자율적 조습 및 광촉매 특성

        수용액상의 졸겔반응에 의해 메조기공의 실리카-티타니아 코겔을 제조하고 이들의 자율적 조습력과 광촉매 특성에 대해 검토하였다. 실리카-티타니아 코겔에 있어 조습력과 관계되는 세공크기와 용적은 본 연구에서 고안된역적정법에 의해 Ph 7부근 및 SiO_2/TiO_2 비가 상대적으로 큰 9/1인 경우에 가장 큰 생성물이 얻어졌다. 폐놀 분해율에 의한 광촉매 특성은 동일조건에서 SiO_2/TiO_2 비가 감소함에 따라 증가하였고, SiO_2/TiO_2 비가 9/1에서 세공크기 4.0~6.0 nm 및 세공용적 0.6~0.8 mL/g 범위로 제어된 코겔의 경우 환경습도 40~70% 범위에서 흡습량 25%, 방습량 45%로서 종래 조습재료 보다 자율조습력이 큰 것을 볼 수 있었고, 같은 조성의 실리카-티타니아 혼합 산화물과의 폐놀 분해율에 의한 광촉매 특성 비교에서도 우수한 물성을 보이고 있었는데 이것은 Ti-O-Si 결합형성으로 인해 코겔 구조내에 음전하 과잉으로 인한 활성점(브렌스테드 산점) 발현에 기인된 것으로 고찰된다. Silica-titania cogel materials have been prepared by aqueous sol-gel process using a back titration technique designed for this study. The humidity self-control and photocatalytic properties of the materials have been also investigated. In these silica-titania cogel materials, relatively large pore size and pore volume than can give a good humidity control ability are desired, and they were synthesized under the reaction condition at pH of 7 and SiO_2/TiO_2 ratio of 9/1. The photocatalytic property, which was measured by the decomposition ratio of phenol, increased with the decrease of SiO_2/TiO_2 ratio in the composition. The cogel at the SiO_2/TiO_2 ratio of 9/1, resulted in the pore size of 4.0~6.0 nm and the pore volume of 0.6~0.8mL/g. At the relative humidity range of 40~70%, the amounts of moisture absorption and desorption were 25% 45%, respectively, and these had a better humidity control ability than conventional ones. In addition, the cogel showed a superior photocatalytic property compared to that of silica and titania mixture with the same composition. This enhancement is probably due to the revelation of active sites by the excess negative charges that were induced by Ti-O-Si bond formation in the cogel structure.

      • 척수압박으로 발현된 급성 골수성 백혈병에 동반된 과립구성 육종 1 례

        저자들은 척수압박으로 하지마비를 보인 환자에서 수술 후에 급성 백혈병에 동반된 과립구성 육종으로 진단된 환자 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Granulocytic sarcoma(GS) is an uncommon tumor composed of immature cells of the granulocytic series. Most case of GS occur in the course of acute leukemia and the blast crisis of chronic leukemia, Rarely, however, it may present before leukemia becomes clinically apparent. It may also occur in patients with myeloproliferative disoders. GS has been reported that it occurs in 3% to 9% of patients with acute myelogenous leukemia(AML) and the incidence of GS is reported to be higher in patients with t(8;21). GS occurs relatively commonly in africa and has been reported to affect 10-25% of black children presenting with AML. This is very rare case of granulocytic sarcoma with AML(FAB M5) presented with spinal cord compression which was supported by decompression laminectomy.

      • TiO₂-CaSO₄와 TiO₂-CaCO₃계의 고상반응기구 : TiO₂의 반응성 및 상형성 Reactivity of TiO₂and Phase Forming

        For to detect the mechanism of the product phase and the assignment of the two reactant on the solid state reaction of TiO₂ with the CaSO₄ and CaCO₃ respectively at the reaction temperature 900℃ - 1400℃, the refractive microscope, scanning electron microscope, and electron dispersive spectroscope analysis were examined. For the reaction of TiO₂ with CaSO₄ the product phase which earned is CaTiO₃perovskite and from the first, the intermediate product of TiO₂· CaO·SO₂ was formed. However, the main product phase is Ca₃Ti₂O7, which is coexisted in the product layer, at the reaction of TiO₂ with CaCO₃·TiO₂ was diffused into CaSO₄ and CaCO₃ reactant side is both two reaction. Specially, in the case of CaCO₃, the transfer of TiO₂ is rapid through the pore, which was formed with vaporization of CO₂ gas.
