      • 이동평균모형의 붓스트랩 추정에 관한연구

        붓스트랩(bootstrap) 방법에 의한 이동평균 모형 추정 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 경험적 자료와 시뮬레이션 자료를 통하여 잭나이프 방법과의 유효성을 비교하였고, 이동평균 모형의 모분포의 가정에 대한 붓스트랩 추정의 로버스트성을 Monte Carlo 실험으로 비교해 보았다. Bootstrap method for the estimation of the moving average process is suggested. Based on an empirical and a simulated data set, relative merits of the method over the jackknife method is compared. Its robustness to the population distribution is also studied by a Monte Carlo experiments.

      • 玉胚芽油 사용시 小型디젤機關의 運轉性能에 關한 硏究

        The purpose of this study is to figure out the engine performance of corn oil as a diesel engine fuels. corn oil-diesel fuel mixtures in 3 type proportions were tested in a single cylinder diesel test engine. The automatic and successive data for engine performance obtained by microcomputer-measuring system. The results of experiment summarized as follows 1. The viscosity reduction ratio of corn oil was approximately 80% when the temperature raised from 10℃ to 60℃. 2. The maximum torque and maximum power out were decreased with increasing of the amount of corn oil in the mixture, it was considered of the lower specific heat value of corn oil comparative to diesel fuel. 3. In view of fuel consumption and thermal efficiency tested engine with corn oil-diesel fuel blends showed better performance at heavy loads and at high speeds.

        평야지재배 조생종 벼의 이화학적 및 식미특성 분석

        평야지재배 적응 조생종 벼 품종의 선발 및 품종 육성의 기초 자료로 활용코자 극조생종(1품종)과 조생종(10품종) 및 준조생(3품종)등 총 14품종을 산간지(운봉)와 평야지(익산)에 지역별 표준재배법으로 공시한 결과, 1. 극조생종 및 조생종들은 감온성이 커 산간지에서 출수가 빠르나, 준조생종에 속하는 상미벼, 영덕34호, 히또메보레 등은 감광성이 감온성보다 커, 평야지재배에서 4일정도 빨리 출수하였다. 2. 수량성은 대부분의 품종들이 산간지재배에 비해 평야지 재배에서 높았고 대체로 출수가 빠른 품종일수록 지역간의 수량차가 크게 나타났으며, 출수가 다소 늦은 준조생종들은 산간지와 평야지의 재배에서 수량차가 크지 않아 산간지 뿐만 아니라 평야지에서도 적응성이 높았다. 3. 단백질함량은 숙기가 다소 늦은 품종일수록 낮은 경향을 보였고 산간지보다는 평야지에서 낮았으며, 품종간에는 오대벼, 운봉30호, 영덕34호, 신석조생, 상미벼 등이 함유량이 낮았다. 4. 식미치는 산간지재배가 평야지에 비해 보다 높게 나타났고, 출수가 늦을수록 높았으며, 지역간 차가 크게 나타난 품종은 극조생종인 키라라397이었고, 출수가 늦은 상미벼와 히또메보레는 차가 적었다. 5. 산온도와 수량과의 상관은 산간지에서만 영향이 있을 뿐 평야에서는 영향이 적고 일사량과 일조시수가 수량에 보다 상관성이 높았으며, 식미치는 적산온도와는 부의상관, 생육 일수와는 정상관을 보였다. This experiment was carried out to clarify the difference of rice yield and the quality of rice in southern plan area and in alpine area. Yield and quality of fourteen early varieties were investigated under the different transplanting dates and planting densities in southern plan area(Iksan) and in alpine area(Unbong). In the alpine area, extremely early variety and early varieties headed early compared to the plain area, but medium early varieties headed about 4 days late unlike the alpine area. The yield difference of most early varieties including Kilara 397 of extremely early flowering variety were greater in plain area than in alpine. The different of yield between plain and alpine area was less in varieties with Sinseogjosaeng, Odaebyeo, Akidagomachi, and Yeungdeuk34. The rate of protein was lower in plain area than alpine and more lately flowering than early, but palatability of milled rice was higher at the alpine area and more lately flowering varieties. Correlation coefficients between yield and meterological data during maturity, yield shower the significant correlation with integrated solar radiation and sunshine hours at cultured in southern plan area, but it showed only cumulative temperature in alpine area. Palatability of miller rice was positive correlation at growth duration but negative correlation at cumulative temperature.

        평판하 연기선단의 가시화

        수평 평판과 충돌하는 제트에 의해 생성되는 연기유동을 관찰하기 위해 질소가스에 kerosene연기입자를 뛰워 유동장을 가시화하였다. 광원으로는 아르곤-이온 레이져 평면광이 사용되었다. Kerosene smoke의 산란 광에 의한 수직평면 상(image)과 수평평면 상을 고속 CCD 카메라와 비디오 카메라로 녹화하였으며, 얻어진 영상으로부터 연기 선단의 순간속도 및 평균속도를 측정하였다. The flow induced by a vertically impinging circular jet under a horizontal plate is investigated by visualization technique, using kerosene smoke in nitrogen gas to visualize the vortex flow and impinging flow. The light source was the sheet beam of Ar-Ion laser. The vertical and horizontal images scattering of kerosene smoke were recorded by the high speed CCD camera and the video camera. The instantaneous velocity of the smoke front were measured from the acquisited images.

      • Disorders of Small and Large Intestine : Clinical Course of Intestinal Behcet`s Disease According To Ulcer Depth In Colonoscopy

        Background/Aims: Because of bleeding and perforation, intestinal Behcet`s disease (BD) is the one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality of BD. But clinical course of this disease was not clear. The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical course according to colonoscopic findings. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records and colonoscopic findings of 32 patients with intestinal BD. According to colonoscopic findings of ulcerative lesions, they were classified into three groups: aphthous ulcer (group A), shallow ulcer (group B) and deep ulcer (group C), and we analyzed clinical manifestations, number of ulcer, subset type of BD, medications, and operation & relapse rate among three groups. Results: Mean age at diagnosis was 40±0.7 years and 21 patients were female (M:F=1:2). Abdominal pain (32), diarrhea (22) and RLQ tenderness (15) were common symptoms. The number of complete, incomplete and suspected type was 3, 10 and 19 respectively. There was no difference in the diagnostic age of intestinal BD, subtypes of BD, and clinical symptoms among the three groups. The number of Intestinal ulcer was the most in group A, and group B and C were followed (p<0.047). The intestinal operation and steroid use rate were 0% and 0% (group A), 28.6%and 14.3% (group B) and 71.4% and 85.7% (group C), respectively, with statistical significance (p<0.046, p<0.005), and the relapse rate was 12.5% (group A), 15.4% (group B), and 63.6% (group C) (p<0.017). Conclusions: Deep ulcerations in intestinal BD were more frequently recurred, operated and more frequently use steroid than aphthous and shallow ulcerations.

        N/A CAH (congenital adrenal hyperplasia) due to 21-hydroxylase (2l-OH) deficiency is a autosomal recessive disorder in which affected homozygotes present with virilization, hirsutism and short stature. For the detection of heterozygote carrier, we measured 17-hydroxy progesterone (17-OHP), progesterone, cortisol and aldosterone after ACTH stimulation to the patient, her family members and controls. The following results were obtained. 1) ACTH stimulation test was a goad test for the confirm diagnosis of homozygotes and the detection of heterozygote carriers in 21-OH deficiency CAH. 2) The patient and two siblings were homozygotes. The mother and one sibling were heterozygotes, and her father was suggested to be a heterozygote without biochemical expression. 3) 21-hydroxylase deficiency of zona glomerulosa was Not deficient in all homozygotes.

        Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disease characterized by impaired neuromuscular transmission due to circulating antiacetylcholine receptor autoantibodies. The relation between myasthenia gravis and thyroid disease remains unclarified. The association is thought to be uncommon and approximately 0.2% of myasthenia gravis has been reported in patients with autoimmune thyroid disease. Clinical expression of myasthenia gravis varies, ranging from a mild localized disease such as ocular myasthenia gravis (OMG) to a severe generalized disease. A higher frequency of thyroid antibodies has been observed in OMG compared to generalized myasthenia gravis, but the exact mechanisms of this increased association between OMG and thyroid autoimmunity has not been confirmed. The $quot;see-saw$quot; relationship between hyperthyroidism and myasthenia gravis is presented by some authors, while others reported that the optimal maintenance of euthyroid status was essential in treatment. Today many authors agree to the latter and we think that the adequate control of hyperthyroidism is more important. We have experienced six cases of hyperthyroidism combined with OMG and it was somewhat difficult to diagnose myasthenia gravis when the patient have Graves ophthalmopathy (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 15:606-613, 2000).

        Effect of Extremely Low Frequency Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) on Phospholipase Activity in the Cultured Cells

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects of extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields (EMF) on signal pathway in plasma membrane of cultured cells (RAW 264.7 cells and RBL 2H3 cells), by measuring the activity of phospholipase $A_2$ ($PLA_2$), phospholipase C (PLC) and phospholipase D (PLD). The cells were exposed to the EMF (60 Hz, 0.1 or 1 mT) for 4 or 16 h. The basal and $0.5\;{\mu}M$ melittin-induced arachidonic acid release was not affected by EMF in both cells. In cell-free $PLA_2$ assay, we failed to observe tbe change of $cPLA_2$ and $sPLA_2$ activity. Also both PLC and PLD activities did not show any change in the two cell lines exposed to EMF. This study suggests that the exposure condition of EMF (60 Hz, 0.1 or 1 mT) which is 2.4 fold higher than the limit of occupational exposure does not induce phospholipases-associated signal pathway in RAW 264.7 cells and RBL 2H3 cells.
