The International Lobor Organization(ILO) has contributed to the establishment and enfocement of the international social security law by adopting many agreements and recommendations on the social security. The recommendations on the Philadelphia declaration, concerning the income security and medical case, were the basic ideas of the international social security law. In addition to that, the social security agreement established in 1952 has been used as a minimum criterion for the ratifications that can be made by many countries including developing countries. The idea that workers have rights on the social security is to be found in the development of the human rightrs reflected on the declaration of the world human rights in 1948 and the 「 international agreements on the economic, social and cultural rights 」in 1966. The deelaration of world human rights secures the freedom rights and also the social rights which include the rights on the social security. The Philadelphia declaration, which is a basic idea of the ILO, was originated from the development of the social rights as social and economic sides of the human rights. Basically, the social security is based on the ideas of the social thought and social justice. Of the social security right, the Philadelphia declaration suggests that labor is not a product; hence, workers have freedom for expression and orgnaization. Also it suggests that the policies to achieve the above ideas should be sought in the rights for the freedom and respect, and the rights to the well being under the economis security and equal opportunity. The people's right of the social security is the positive one, " freedom from starvation," and to a nation, it is one of the obligations which should be secured by the combinations of the individual right and social right. In short, the idea of the social security law is originated from the basic right such as social right.

Thermostable DNA ligase is an essential enzyme for the ligase chain reaction(LCR), a method of detection of a single point mutation. Firstly reported thermostable DNA ligase gene was Tth lig gene of Thermus thermophilus HB8 in 1991. We amplified a new thermostable DNA ligase gene of Thermous caldophilus GK24 using the method of PCR. Used degenerate primers DLI and DLT were designed based on Tth DNA ligase gene. This amplified Tca DNA ligase gene was cloned and expressed. For DNA subcloning and sequencing, restriction enzyme sites of the gene were analyzed.

This paper presents a research design for analyzing the relationship between a status of process technology and market environment. Process technology is defined as a mixture of automation and flexibility in this paper. Market environment is defined as the combination of a level of product volume and that of product variety. In this paper a research model is presented with a series of relevant research hypothesis for empirical test. In addition, tools to measure the research variables are also presented in this paper. The research frame can be used for empirical test in the future.

To Study the eruption pattern of the maxillary first permanent molar, the author took 266 cases of true lateral cephalogram (Male; 137 cases, Female; 129 cases) from 3 to 7 years old children and observed the vertical change and axial change. The following results were obtained: 1. The angle of axial inclination of the maxillary first permanent molar to the F-H plane increased gradually from age 3 to 7, except for age 6 in both sexes. There was a slight reversal of this motion at age 6. 2. The distance from the cusp of the maxillary first permanent molar to the occlusal plane slightly decreased from age 3 to 5, and rapidly decreased from age 5 in both sexes. 3. The change of angle of the axial inclination resulted in the distance from the distobuccal cusp of the maxillary first permanent molar to the occlusal plane decreasing more than that from the mesiobuccal cusp of the maxillary first permanent molar to the occlusal plane in both sexes. 4. The eruption of the maxillary first permanent molar generally was found to be earlier in girls than boys.

This paper presents a case study for web-based DB retrieval system for shoe industry in Korea. The system is designed according to the Software Engineering Methodology suggested by James Martin. The design encompasses both process modelling and data modelling. In particular, the data model is designed in the context of relational database system. User interfaces are designed according to WWW environment. Ultimately, the system is expected to be a network model to connect shoe industry, universities and research centers in Korea.

There is an increasing need to develop an alternative to Nafion membrane in order to reduce the cost of vanadium redox flow batteries. Pore-filled composite membranes based on Nafion is one way to reduce the amount of costly material, however its chronic problem is low conductivity and water uptake ability. We suggest a novel approach to enhance the conductivity and water uptake by incorporating propylene carbonate to modulate water channel morphologies in Nafion directly. We present a pore-filled type Nafion composite membrane to prove the effect of PC addition. Small-angle X-ray scattering and simulation results are suggested for further understanding.

This thesis aims at studying the characteristics of human rights clauses and the development of human rights thought. For this purpose, Meiji constitution and present Japanese constitution were compared, and the theory development on Japanese human rights after world war Ⅱ and the new human rights since the 1960s were also investigated. The characteristics of human rights clauses in the Japanese constitution are as follows: 1. Human rights clauses are based on the thought of the natural law, considering human rights as the above-nation rights. 2. In the present constitution, the reservations of laws are not allowed at all. 3. Any exceptional clauses are not allowed and the law inspection right is given to the courts, which results in strengthening the judicial protection of human rights. 4. The span of human rights protection is enlarged. In other words, the span of freedom rights is enlarged and the social rights in newly enacted. On the other hand, the human rights theories after world war Ⅱ are through the follwoing major developments: 1. Regarding the relationship between human rights and public welfare, human rights hold the inherent limitations. Thus, even in case human rights are limited due to the public welfare, the profit with the limit of human rights should be greater than that without such limit. And this fact is generally accepted in Japan. It is to done reasonably within the minimum limits, whenever human rights are limited. And such limitations are done by the generally accepted "double-standard theory" distinct using spiritual freedom from economic freedom. 2. The indirect validity theory is well accepted with respect to the effect of human rights between individuals. 3. The new type of human rights is appearing in order to conform to the change of Japanese society since the 1960s. The new important human rights include privacy rights, environment rights and know rights, which are derived from the happiness pursuit rights, the clause 13 of Japanese constitution.

This research proposes a dynamic optimal control model explaining the impact of IT investment on the profit performance within manufacturing context consisting of cost structure, quality, and flexibility. This research has been initiated by raising the question of how the IT productivity paradox issues would be different in the manufacturing context versus service context. The dynamic optimal control model prescribes the interrelationships among three key competitive factors, cost, flexibility, and quality, of manufacturing firm and its profit performance. As a result, this study attempts to not only provide researchers in this venue with a milestone for further extensions but also provide managers with policy implications of IT investment within manufacturing environment.
