        신장이식 환자에서 HCMV 항원혈증 검사의 임상적 유용성

        Background : This study was performed to determine the cut-off value and the predictability of symptomatic human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infection according to the peak value of HCMV antigenemia assay in kidney transplant recipients. Materials and Methods : We reviewed the results of HCMV antigenemia assay (Chemicon, CA, USA) in patients who received kidney transplantation at our institution from May 2003 through May 2008, and investigated the existence and the type of HCMV infection by the medical record review. Patients who underwent the test only once during the episode or those who received ganciclovir for more than 48hrs before the test were excluded. The receiver-operator characteristic curve was drawn and the point showing maximum likelihood ratio (LR) was chosen as the cut-off value of symptomatic HCMV infection. Results : A total of 689 episodes were screened and 134 episodes were enrolled. Thirty-three (24.6%) episodes were symptomatic HCMV infection, 23 (17.2%) episodes were associated with HCMV syndrome, and 10 (7.5%) episodes were tissue-invasive diseases. The maximum LR was 7.5 (95% confidence interval, 4.014.2) and the cut-off value was 29.5 cells/200,000 WBC. The sensitivity, specificity, Positive predictive value, and negative predictive value were 66.7%, 91.1%, 71.0%, and 89.3%, respectively. Conclusions : The cut-off value of symptomatic HCMV infection by the peak value of HCMV antigenemia assay in our study was similar with previous results, although the sensitivity was relatively low.

        The droplet behavior of 83.9 wt.% HAN water solution was investigated experimentally with various ambient temperature and nitrogen environment. At the initial stage of evaporation under thermal decomposition temperature of HAN, gradual decreasing of droplet diameter was observed. After that, the droplet started to expand due to the internal pressure build up by water nucleation inside the droplet. The micro explosion was observed at higher temperature than the decomposition temperature of HAN and the remaining droplet showed similar behavior of single composition droplet. The decreasing rate was augmented as the ambient temperature increasing.

        한강하구지역에서 월동하는 재두루미(Grus vipio)의 개체군 감소

        김포시와 고양시 일대의 한강하구 지역은 우리나라에서 재두루미의 가장 중요한 월동지 및 중간기착지로 알려져 있지만, 이 지역의 조류 서식환경은 심각한 개발압력과 인간의 간섭으로 인해 지속적으로 나빠지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 2007-2008년과 2011-2012년의 월동시기에 본 지역에 도래하는 재두루미를 대상으로 월동 개체군 크기 변화와 월동지역 내에서 과거와 현재의 취식지역 이용 현황 등을 조사하여 개발행위가 이들의 서식에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 본 지역에서 월동하는 재두루미 개체군은 평균 124.9개체(2007-2008년)에서 59.0개체(2011-2012년)로 감소하였으며, 주요 취식지역에서 확인된 개체수는 평균 77.7개체에서 24.1개체로 감소하여 월동개체군의 감소폭에 비해 주요 취식지역의 이용 개체수의 감소폭이 더 크게 나타났다. 유형별 분석에서는 가족군에 비해 무리군의 개체수가 많이 감소한 것으로 나타났으나, 홍도평 지역의 가족군 이용 개체수는 변화가 나타나지 않았다(Mann-Whitney test. Z=-0.26, p=0.979). 그리고 과거 다수의 재두루미가 주요 취식지역으로 이용하였던 송포동과 평동지역은 2012-2013년 조사에서는 거의 이용하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 위 지역의 개발행위(예: 제 2자유로 건설 등)와 깊은 연관성이 있는 것으로 생각된다. Han-river estuary in Gimpo and Goyang city is well known as one of the most important wintering and stopover sites for migrating White-naped Crane (Grus vipio) in Korea. Nowadays, habitat quality of this area is getting worse due to serious development pressure and high human disturbances. So, we wanted to know whether development actions affected total wintering population change in Han-river estuary and feeding group pattern of White-naped Crane in main feeding habitats between the 2007-2008 and 2011-2012 wintering period. Average wintering population was decreased 124.9 to 59.0 and population of main feeding site also decreased 77.7 to 24.1. But decrease rate of main feeding site population was higher than total wintering population. Non-family feeding population was more decrease than family feeding population in the flock type analysis. But family feeding population of Hongdopyong was maintained from past and present (Mann-Whitney test. Z=-0.26, p=0.979). However, almost all White-naped Crane din not use both feeding sites, Pyong-dong and Songpo-dong, where were deteriorated habitat quality by human act.

        초등학교 자녀의 구강보건에 관한 학부모의 인식 및 행동

        The purpose of this study was to collect basic data for the development of oral health education program of parents and to encourage their actual interest and participation in school oral health program. The authors surveyed parents' awareness and behaviors about the oral health of their children. The subjects in this study were 193 parents of elementary school children in Seoul. The collected data were analyzed, the obtained results were as follows: 1. Thirty-five percent of the parents investigated paid a regular visit to a dental clinic. The must common tooth brushing time among them was after dinner, the second was after breakfast, and this was followed by before bedtime and before breakfast. 2. Ninety-four percent of the parents responded that prevention is necessary, 92.2% had a plan to visit a dental clinic to prevent dental caries, and 60.1% experienced receiving pit and fissure sealants. Ninety-seven percent responded that they did check their children's dental caries. 54.9% chocked their children's oral status after tooth brushing. The parents who visit a dental clinic on a regular basis were more likely to check their children's teeth after tooth brushing than those who don't(P<0.05). 3. Eighty eight percent of respondents wanted to keep the fluoride mouth rinse program. 4. It is recommended that an oral health education program be developed for parents to visit dental clinics on a regular basis, to educate as to the right tooth brushing time, and to check out their children's oral status after tooth blushing.

      • 비전시스템을 이용한 인간형 축구로봇에 관한 연구

        In this paper a humanoid soccer robot using vision system is presented. Soccer robot has 23 degrees of freedom and consists of various sensors such as IR and CCD camera, a remote controller and bluetooth module for the wireless telecommunication. We propose a soccer algorithm of humanoid robot in the various environments. The soccer algorithm is designed based on image processing and path planning. We verify our approach on a developed small humanoid robot in an experimental environment. The experimental result shows that the humanoid soccer robot plays soccer with a stable walking.

        밀레니엄을 맞이하는 1990년대 패션과 메이크업의 경향

        This paper analyzes the trend of fashion and make-up in 1990s and their relevancy to each other. Based on the chronological analysis, we propose a new category for the fashion and make-up trend in 1990s, which is 1) traditonal ecology period(1990~1994), 2) versatile trial or decadent period(1995~1997), and 3) soft landing period based on the minimal neo-ecology and romanticism(1998~2000). Between 1990 and 1994, there was no differntiation in seasons. It appeared that spring/summer and fall/winter trend have had no big differences. At the beginning in 1990s, it was basically based on ecology concept that emphasizes the natural image. However after 1995, seasonal differences in trend are appeared and there were various make-up designs. The trends of spring/summer in 1996 could be named as color revolution period that emphasized the unique and individual expression of each person. In 1997, black, pastel, and brown colors were the result of reinterpreting the classic and sexy images of 1960s to natural and modernistic image of 1997. Purple color started to be introduced to us. In 1998, pastel tone, pink, and purple color expresses the glamorous look based on the romantic feminism, S/S of 1999 is mainly represented by minimalism, and avant garde. For fall/winter trends, brown color lines make-up comes to mix with romantic image and developed into wine, orange, neon colors in 1995 and 1996. These colors were the symbol of property and sentiment. Gold make-up emphasizing the eye area was the tendency of that period. In 1997, the fear of coming end of century was expressed as decadent image. At that time, ethnic and romantic image appeared with vivid color lines, gold, red and violet. In 1998, romanticism was popular again with modernism and ethnic mood. It expressed the romantic elegant image. The trend has retunred to the ecology mood again in 1999. This ecology is somewhat different from the previous ecology. It adds a sofistaiced feeling and sportic fashion. To express natural and sportic image, they choose pink blush. In coming 2000 as a new millennium, the yellow color will be main the stream to express vision, dream, and happiness in both fashion and make-up as an accent color. The minimal design and minimal tools will be used for the design and make-up, respectively. In addition, the fusion concept will dominate the fashion and make-up industry in the globalized and boundariless age. Through this paper, we hope that make-up can be accepted as a part of total fashion in its relationship with other elements such as shoes, clothes and accessory and that it can be considered as a independent art that has direct influence on people and industry.

        「월미도원(月尾桃園)」-월미공원 현상설계안 : 설계방법을 중심으로 Focused on the Design Methodology

        Wolmi Park is located at the center of so called "Tri-Port" of history, regional culture and micro ecology. The design requirements for the competition can be ranged from the coexistence of history and modern life, the accentuation of mountain and sea landscapes, the continuity of the exterior and interior, and etc. Our design proposal started the process by analyzing "six strategies" of Baljon(1992) and "design languages" discussed in the traditional landscapes. The strategies were construed into the compositional concepts found in four sequential steps of traditional dance. Therefore, the basic land use and circulation units are contrived and organized by the "four steps"('step in', 'spread out', 'fold', 'unfold') and the "languages"('10 scenes' and '13 poetic words'). The proposed plan includes some plazas near access routes, three newly made traditional gardens of palace, royal residence and villa in the central area, the viewing promenade, and the ecological pond on the outskirt of the park.

      • 고추 역병 저항성 재료의 특성평가와 종자 증식

        역병 저항성 재료로 도입하여 유지하고 있는 PI123469, PI201234, PI201232, AC2258 (=Line 29), CM334, KC268, KC358, KC820, KC821, KC822, KC823 (Line 29 = AC2258), KC462, KC463, KC464 혹은 이들 유전자원에서 선발한 계통들의 역병에 대한 저항성 검정, 원예적 특성 조사 및 종자 증식을 실시하였다. PI123469, PI201234, PI201232, AC2258, KC823 에서 선발된 계통들이 가장 저항성이 강한 것으로 나타났다. 동일한 유전자원에서 선발한 계통간에도 저항성 수준에서 현저한 차이가 관찰되는 경우가 있었으며, 이러한 경우는 주로 유지 증식과정에 자연교잡이 일어난 결과로 추정되었다. 따라서 순도 높은 저항성 재료를 얻기 위해서는 봉지를 씌워 자식종자를 채종하는 것이 가장 안전하며, 다음으로는 계통 망실 혹은 망상을 이용하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 판단되었다. Resistance to Phytophthora capsici and horticultural characteristics of selections from the resistance sources such as PI123469, PI201234, PI201232, AC2258 (=Line 29), CM334, KC268, KC358, KC820, KC821, KC822, KC823 (Line 29), KC462, KC463, KC464 were evaluated and recorded in the process of seed increase. Selections of PI123469, PI201234, PI201232, AC2258, KC823 (Line 29 = AC2258) of them showed the highest level of resistance. A considerable difference in the level of resistance was observed between lines selected from the same sources. The variation between selections derived from the same source was thought to ve attributable to natural cross-pollination that may have occurred during the seed increase. Therefore, securing self-pollinated seed by wrapping the flower buds before anthesis would be necessary to obtain genetivally pure resistant lines. The next alternative would be to increase the seed in small net houses for single line or field cage.
