This study was designed for comparison of shear bond strengths and failure patterns of four experimental groups which combinated mesh-backed metal brackets and texture based ceramic brackets(Transcend series 2000(TM)) with chemically cured resin (Mono Lok2(TM)) and visible light cured resin (Transbond(TM)). Brackets were bonded on the extracted human bicuspids, after etching them by manufacturer's recommand, and the shear bond strengths were measured on the Instron machine 24 hrs passed in the 37℃ water bath. The results were as follows. 1. Ceramic brackets, transcend series 2000(TM), bonded with MonoLok2(TM) showed statistically higher shear bond strength than mesh-backed metal brackets bonded with MonoLok2(TM). 2. There was no significant difference in shear bond strengths between metal and ceramic brackets bonded with Transbond(TM). 3. Ceramic brackets bonded with both Transbond(TM) and MonoLok2(TM) showed primarily fractures between brackets adhesive interface. 4. Enamel crack was not found in anyone specimen.

By use of hydrophobic hollow fiber membrane module, this study examines the value of Kw(overall mass transfer coefficient) on Na^+, and used Di-2-ethylhexylphosphonic acid mono-2-ethylhexyl ester(EHPNA), Dodecyl-1,1,3,3,5,5-hexa-methyl hexylamine(LA-2), as extractant. We also shown the effect of additive(Cl^-, C_8H_17OH) and mixed extractant(Tri-n-octylphosphineoxide(TOPO)). LA-2 separated well by increased concentration of HCl and EHPNA decreased. LA-2 shown better separation ratio at compare EHPNA with LA-2. The effect of Kw vs. count ion(Cl^-) was shown that Kw increased by increased concentration of Cl^-, in effect of C_8H_17OH was weak.
수은(Hg2+) 및 니켈(Ni2+)이 [³H]Quinuclidinyl Benzilate의 Muscarinic Receptors 결합에 미치는 영향

[³H]Quinuclidinyl benzilate(QNB) binds specifically to muscarinic receptors which mediate a number of important physiological reponses of acetylcholine. In the present study, the effects of ?? and ?? on [³H]QNB binding to the cerebral microsome were investigated. Microsomes were treated with ?? or ?? for 15min at 37℃ and then binding experiments were carried out. ?? and ?? inhibited [³H]QNB binding in the presence of 100pM [³H]QNB to muscarinic receptors with ?? value of 2.1 μM and 350mM, respectively. The inhibition of [³H]QNB binding by these metals was irreversible. Both ?? and ?? decreased the binding site concentration for [³H]QNB binding without affecting ?? value of [³H]QNB. These results indicate that heavy metals inactivate the muscarinic receptors with different potency.

The purpose of this study was to suggest a design proposal for a clock tower on the gate plaza of Hyunghee univ., Suwon campus. The basic ideas of design were harmony in the form and contrast in the quality of material. Therefore the clock tower was designed a sphere form by stainless steel with a glossy surface and to has a clock per four orientation.
