가토에서 일측 요관 부분 및 완전폐색시 신장과 요관의 조직학적 변화

This study was designed to clarify histologic changes in the experimental rabbit kidney and ureter after unilateral partial or complete ureteral obstruction. A total of 20 adult white rabbits were divided into 4 subgroups in the partial obstruction followed by 2 weeks, the partial obstruction followed by 4 weeks, the complete obstruction followed by 2 weeks, and the complete obstruction followed by 4 weeks. The normal control group was consisted of 5 adult white rabbits. The kidneys and ureters for light microscopy were fixed in 10% neutral formalin, embedded in paraffin and stained with hematoxylin and eosin. Abnormal histologic fingings showed in ipsilateral kidney and ureter of all subgroups(such as dilatation of uriniferous tubule, focal necrosis and desquamation of epithelium, interstitial fibrosis, glomerular congestion, widening of Bowman's space, dilatation of ureter, epithelial cell atrophy or loss, interstitial fibrosis and interstitial inflammation). These findings were most severe in the group of the complete-obstructed ureter for 4 weeks. No significant changes showed in contralateral ureter of all subgroups. The degree of obstruction was severe and period of obstruction was long, the histological changes in ipsilateral side were severe. Despite of changes in ipsilateral side no abnormal findings showed in contralateral side. We suggest that long term experimental investigation of histologic changes in ipsilateral side and compensatory changes in contralateral side have to be studied.

The purpose of this study was to develop a new ^13C-urea- containing capsule for diagnosis of H. pylori. The urea-containing capsules were prepared with various diluents such as polyethylene glycol (PEG), microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate and citric acid. The dissolution test, ^13C-urea breath test and stability test were then performed on the capsules. Microcrystalline cellulose and sodium lauryl sulfate retarded the initial dissolution rates of urea. However, PEG increased the initial dissolution rates of urea. Furthermore, two formulae composed of PEG, [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] and [^13C-urea/PEG/citric acid (38/1.9/1.9 mg/cap)] had the maximum DOB value, about 16 at 20 mim, while the formula composed of only 38 mg ^13C-urea had the maximum DOB value at 30 min. The results indicated that PEG improved the sensitivity of ^13C-urea in the human volunteers. The capsule [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] was stable for at least six months in 25 and 37℃. Thus, a PEG-containing capsule, [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] would be a more economical, sensitive and stable preparation for diagnosis of H. pylori.

유전 알고리즘을 이용한 전력계통 안정화 장치에 관한 연구

In this paper, it is suggested that the method select optimal appropriate parameter using RVGA and RVEGA of power system stabilizer with strength in low frequency oscillation for power system stability. We selected optimal parameter in case of power system stabilizer with both one lead compensator and two lead compensator, in each case, too. Also, we considered the dynamic characteristic and the system eigenvalue in the normal load, proved usefulness of RVEGA to compare of Yu's compensator design theory. The obtained results are summarized as follows. (1) We could know that the optimal parameter selection of power system stabilizer using RVEGA is effective. (2) Proposed RVEGA represented more excellent distribution of fitness and average fitness than RVGA, could remove early convergence in the problem of existing GA. Specially, we could know the good efficiency in the case of multi-variable. (3) In case of normal load, the dynamic characteristic and the eigenvalue represented more excellent in the case of using RVEGA than Yu's method (4) We could know which the optimal parameter selection using RVEGA contribute to power system stability.
SCM 21 鋼의 表面缺陷形狀이 疲勞龜裂博播에 미치는 影響

In this study, the auther investigated propagation behavior of surface Cracks which initiated and propagated from machined defect specimens of SCM 21 which have each other different shape of surface defects. The results are follows. 1. In general, the crack shape was approximately semi-elliptical with the growth the crack. 2. The deeper depth of surface defect, the faster crack length propagation rate than crack depth propagation rate at the beginning but propagation rate of length and depth is similar to increasing the number of repeating load. 3. The shallower depth of surface defect is, the later surface crack are initiated. 4. When the initial surface crack aspect ratio is in the range of 5~6, the initial surface crack is propagated from quter surface to inner surface under the range. In case that ratio is lager than the range, crack is propagated to outer surface.

A new neural network model has been developed to predict short-term air pollution concentration. In addition, a multiple regression model widely used in statistical analysis was tested. These models were applied for prediction of daily maximum ozone concentra-tion in Seoul during the dummer season of 1991. The time periods between May and Sep-tember 1989 and 1990 were utilized to train set of learning patterns in neural network model, and to estimate multiple regression model To evaluate the results of the different models, several performance indices were used. The results indicated that the multiple regression model tended to underpredict the daily maximum ozone concentration with small r^(2)(0.38). Also, large errors were found in this model; 21.lppd for RMSE, 0.324 for NMSE, and -0.164 for MRE. On the other hand, the results obtained from the neural network model were very promising. Thus, we can know that model has a prominent efficiency in the adaptive control for the non-linear multi-variable systems such as photochemical oxidants. Also, when the recent new information was added in the neural network model, prediction accuracy was in-creased. From the new model, the values of RMSE, NMSE, MRE and r^(2) were 13.2ppb, 0.089, 0.003 and 0.55 respectively.
Vinyl腐蝕法에 依한 在來山羊 脾柱靜脈의 區域的 走行에 關한 硏究

The studies were conducted to observe the segmental running of splenic trabecular veins, employing the vinylite corrosion technique in sixty adult Korean goats, and the following results were obteined: 1. The splenic trabecular veins of the goat were collected into 5 chief Rami of the splenic veins(called Rr. superior, media et inferior, Vv. polares superior et inferior), and the splenic parenchyma was divided into 3-8 intralienal venous segments by the course of trabecular veins. 2. Each intralienal venous segment was divided into 2-4 minute segments, therefore 7-22 minute segments were observed in the spleen. 3. The anastomoses were found between segments or minute segments. 4. The splenic arterial and venous system of the Korean goat took a individual course in the splenic parenchyma respectively.
