        탈지분유 함유 식이를 섭취하는 흰쥐에서 칼슘과 비타민 D 수준이 무기질 대사에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of calcium (Ca) and vitamin D (vit. D) levels on metabolism of various minerals such as Ca, P, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, and Cr. The comparison was made on the rats that were placed on diet containing powdered skim milk with different Ca and vit. D levels for 5 weeks. A total of 42 5-week-old Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 7 groups as follows: Control group consisted of normal Ca and normal vit. D (0.5% Ca, 1,000 IU vit. D); Experimental groups were divided into low (0.25%) and high (1.0%) calcium levels; and vit. D group was divided into low (10 IU), normal (1,000 IU), and high (5,000 IU) subgroups. The weight gain and food efficiency ratios of the rats were not significantly different with increasing dietary Ca levels. The absorption rates of 7 minerals (Ca, P, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, and Cr) were significantly decreased with increasing dietary Ca levels. Also, fecal excretion of P significantly increased with increasing dietary vit. D levels (p<0.05), and urine excretion of Fe was significantly increased with increasing dietary vit. D levels (p<0.001). The result indicated that higher Ca intake affected on bioavailability of other minerals, due to interactions among minerals in the process of intestinal absorption. However, vitamin D intake had no effect on bioavailability of several minerals. Therefore, it could be suggested that adequate Ca intake is important for balance of the minerals.

        위화(胃火) 1호(號)로 호전(好轉)된 만성위염(慢性胃炎) 환자(患者) 치험(治驗) 2례(例)

        Objective: This study was designed to investigate the effect of Wihwa herbal-acupuncture on chronic gastritis. Methods: Wihwa herbal-acupuncture was administered two times a week. The following points were selected: CV12(中脘), CV13(上脘), S36(足三里), Liv3(太衝). We checked pain rating score(P.R.S.), visual analogue scale (V.A.S.) and Gastroscopy. Results: After 6 weeks of treatment, the patient showed that clinical symtoms was disappeared, Lee's P.R.S. changed from 77 to 8 and Park's P.R.S. from 55 to 0 and gastric erosion disappeared on gastroscopy. Conclusions: These results suggest that and Wihwa herbal-acupuncture has good effect on chronic gastritis. But further studies are required to concretely prove the effectiveness of Wihwa herbal-acupuncture for treating chronic gastritis.

      • 아크릴계 수지(Paraloid B-72)가 사찰벽화 보존에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 금산사 미륵전 외벽화를 중심으로 -

        This study examines the status and the physical features of Paraloid B-72 layers with examination of microstructure and analysis of organic matters. Paraloid B-72 layers were coated on samples from the colour layer of outer wall painting in Mireuk hall in Geumsan temple. On the basis of the previous examination result, it has made the samples which are similar to outer wall in Mireuk hall in Geumsan temple. The samples can be divided into two, one; 5% Paraloid B-72 coating and another is without coating. Then samples have been experimented under the compulsive environments of infrared radiation and immersion, thereafter compared the results of the damages and physical features between two samples. As a result of the comparison, the sample with Paraloid B-72 had more serious cracks, exfoliations and peeling layers than that of without Paraloid B-72. Otherwise, in the examination of ultraviolet radiation, the sample with Paraloid B-72 coating showed weaker physical properties, less density in structure of colour layer and less hardness in surface of colour layer than the sample without coating. The percentage of moisture content after the ultraviolet radiation was higher in the sample without Paraloid B-72 than the sample with Paraloid B-72 coating. Observing the conditions before the ultraviolet radiation, the sample with Paraloid B-72 coating demonstrated lower rate in moisture evaporation rate than the sample without Paraloid B-72. As a consequence, in examination of this samples, the change of physical features are increased in the sample with Paraloid B-72 coating than that without Paraloid B-72 when compulsive environment of heat, moisture and ultraviolet rays for a short term are imposed.

        메쉬 직물의 밀도 및 위치변화에 따른 흡음특성

        Sound absorbing materials are generally categorized as porous-type absorbers and panel-type absorbers. In addition, their absorbing mechanism is typically described as a conversion of sound energy into heat energy through the dynamic behavior of the material. Thus one of the important parameters influencing the sound absorption characteristics is the density of the material. This study investigated the sound absorption characteristics of a mesh fabric based on the mesh density and fabric layering structure. Four different mesh densities (130, 180, 200, and 230 T) combined with five different layering structures were investigated to help understand the mechanism and effect of the sound absorption characteristics. The results indicate that a panel-type absorber has better sound absorption characteristics within a lower frequency range, whereas a porous-type absorber performs better at a higher frequency. In addition, the increased fabric density of the mesh fabric shows a better performance in terms of sound absorption. An empirical equation between the sound absorption coefficient and the fabric density was also derived for further design applications.

        자동차용 박강판 겹치기 이음부의 CO<sub>2</sub> 아크 용접에서 다중회귀분석기법을 이용한 용입깊이 예측에 대한 연구

        Welding is an essential process in the automotive industry. Most welding processes that are used for auto body are spot welding and $CO_2$ welding are used in a small part. In production field, $CO_2$ welding process is decreased and spot welding process is increased due to welding quality is poor and defects are occurred in $CO_2$ welding process frequently. But $CO_2$ welding process should be used at robot interference parts and closed parts where spot welding couldn't. Because of the 0.65mm ~ 2.0mm thickness steel sheet were used in the automotive industry, poor quality of welding area such as burn through and under fill were happened frequently in $CO_2$ process. In this paper, we will study about the penetration depth which gives a huge impact on burn through changing a degree of base metal, welding position and torch angle. Voltage, current and welding speed were fixed but degree of base metal, welding position and torch angle were changed. And Cold- Rolled(CR) steel sheet was used. Penetration depth was analysed by multiple regression analysis to derive approximate calculations. And reliability of approximate calculations were confirmed through additional experiments. As the results of this research, we confirmed the effect of torch and plate angle to bead shape. And we present a possibility that can simulate more accurate to weld geometry, as deduced the verification equations that has tolerance of less than 21.69%.

        JPEG2000 CODEC을 위한 Entropy 코딩 알고리즘의 VLSI 설계

        본 논문은 차세대 정지영상 압축방식인 JPEG2000 코덱의 엔트로피 코딩 알고리즘의 하드웨어적 구조를 제안하고, 설계하였다. 구현된 엔트로피 코더는 컨텍스트 기반의 산술부호화기로서 컨텍스트 추출부(CE)와 산술부호화기(AC)로 구성된다. CE는 각 코팅패스에서 코딩에 참여하지 않는 샘플은 skipping 함으로써 동작속도를 향상시켰으며, AC는 MQ coder에 기반을 둔 산술부호화기로서, 곱셈과 나눗셈 연산대신 단순 가감산과 shift 연산망을 이용하여 구조를 단순화하고 연산량을 줄임으로써 동작속도를 향상시켰다. 설계된 엔트로피 코더는 VHDL 모델링후 Xilinx FPGA technology를 이용하여 합성한 후 동작을 검증하였으며, 30MHz의 동작속도를 보인다. In this paper, we design an efficient VLSI architecture of entropy coding algorithm in JPEG2000. Entropy coder is a context-based binary arithmetic encoder, and composed of a Context Extractor(CE) and an Arithmetic Coder(AC). We speed-up CE by skipping no-operation bits in coding passes, and AC is to be performed based on MQ coder. Because of using Qe value associated with each allowed context and probability estimation, MQ coder is a multiplication free coder that reduces computation loads and makes simple the structure of arithmetic coder. We have developed and synthesized the VHDL models of CE and AC pairs using Xilinx FPGA technology. The proposed architecture operates up to 30MHz.

        변화관리를 위한 대학도서관의 리더십에 관한 연구

        인터넷과 디지털 매체의 발달로 오늘날 한국 대학도서관은 사서감축이나 혹은 이용자 감소 등으로 인하여 위기 상황에 직면해 있다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 변화과정에 많은 지식과 경험을 축적하고 있는 기업의 변화관리에 관한 문헌들을 참조하여 문제를 해결하고자 하였다. 대학도서관은 사서들이 공감하는 위기의식을 이끌어 내고 이를 바탕으로 사서들에 의해 비전제시가 이루어지도록 해야 한다. 그러나 비전은 단순히 제시되는 것보다 이를 실천해야 한다. 비전을 실천하기 위해서 관리자와 영향력 있는 일반 사서들이 리더십을 공유하는 것이 현 시점의 대학도서관에서 바람직한 대안이라고 본다. 나아가 사서들을 위한 체계적인 리더십 교육이 필요할 때이다. University libraries in Korea are facing a crisis because of decline of users and librarian reduction from internet development and digital media. To solve this problem, author referred to the literatures on change management of company. Because there are many accumulating knowledge and experiences about company change management. It is necessary to lead the sympathetic sense of crisis by all university librarians. The vision should be made by all librarians' agreement. But the vision practice is more important than developing. In order to practice the vision, it is more useful to share the leadership with general manager and influential librarians in Korea university libraries. Furthermore, systematic leadership training for librarians is needed than ever.

        그리피스 컬렉션에 포함된 근대 인천과 한성 사진 연구

        'Griffis Collection' is a collection of photographs of Japan and Korea in modern era, collected by William Elliot Griffis. Originally Mr. Griffis was studying about Japan when he developed an interest on Korea, and started to collect helpful materials he could find to study. Later days of Griffis' life, he donated his research to Rutgers University Library, and those materials were named and preserved as Griffis Collection. This paper is about photographs that illustrate modern Incheon and Hansung, and study them in order to discover how Korea's modern cities and architecture were formed and built. In total, there is four categorized chapters of photographs, and those are cities, public buildings, educational facilities and private buildings. In Griffis Collection, there are 23 photos those are relate to this paper's subject, but only 19 of them that has historic value has been covered in this paper. In results, all 19 photos were proved that they have significant information in terms of historic research of modern Korea and Korea's modern architectural stages.

        휴대형 자동, 수동형 및 탁상형 자동 각막곡률검사기로 측정한 각막곡률의 신뢰성

        Purpose: To compare the keratometry measurements by the handheld Nikon Retinomax K-plus2, the on-table Canon RK-5 autokeratometer, and the manual Topcon OM-4 keratometer and to evaluate the degree of agreement among the three instruments. Methods: Adults (n=30) and children (n=40) presenting toa tertiary eye hospital clinic were examined by an optometrist. Topcon OM-4 keratometer, Nikon Retinomax and the on-table Canon RK-5 autokeratometer analyses were performed in order. The horizontal and vertical keratometry data were measured. The vector components of astigmatism, mean bias and agreement among the three types of measurements were evaluated. Results: There were no significant differences among the three keratometers in horizontal or vertical keratometry or in central corneal astigmatism in both the adult and child groups (p-value>0.05). The keratometers which were estimated with Retinomax K-plus2 were highly correlated with those by on-table RK-5 autokeratometer (min. 0.89, max. 0.97) and Topcon OM-4 keratometer (min. 0.67, max. 0.94) in the adult group, while in the child group, the three instruments showed slightly decreased correlation (min. 0.45, max. 0.97 on RK-5, min. 0.36, max. 0.92 on OM-4), especially in the left eyes. Conclusions: The handheld Retinomax K-plus2 provided comparable data to that of the conventional on-table Topcon and manual keratometers. This instrument will beuseful in the clinic to measure keratometry in children or immobilized patients who have difficulty sitting during the examination.

        각막굴절교정수술 이후 안압 상승의 위험인자

        Purpose: To investigate changes in intraocular pressure (IOP) after corneal refractive surgery and determine risk factors associated with increased IOP (IIOP). Methods: This retrospective observational study was comprised of 450 eyes of 225 patients, each of whom had corneal refractive surgery in Seoul National University Hospital between January 2004 and January 2008, and were followed for more than one month. IIOP was defined as IOP above 130% of the predicted IOP, adjusted according to corneal thickness and repeated more than twice after postoperative 1 week or after anti-glaucoma medication was needed. Correlation and stratified regression analyses were performed for eyes with myopia and IIOP. Logistic regression analysis was performed to assess risk factors of IIOP and need for medication. Results: IIOP was detected in 22.2%, and anti-glaucoma medication was required in 12.0%, of eyes. The mean IIOP of the medication group was 5.6 ± 3.4 mmHg. Stratified regression analysis showed that the proportion of IIOP did not differ significantly by the degree of myopia. Logistic regression analysis revealed that statistically significant risk factors of IIOP were female gender, preoperative low IOP, and thicker cornea. The statistically significant risk factor of need for medication was the corneal thickness. Conclusions: Thick corneal thickness was found to be a significant risk factor of IIOP after corneal refractive surgery was performed, and IIOP was not affected by the degree of myopia.
