        관상동맥 질환에서 CD14 유전자형에 따른 세균 및 Heat Shock Protein에 대한 반응의 차이

        Background : CD14 is the receptor for lipopolysaccharides and heat shock protein (HSP), which has been suggested being associated with increased risk of coronary artery disease (CAD). We investigated whether the response to infectious agents or HSP is different according to CD14 polymorphism in Koreans. Materials and Methods : Antibody titers to Helicobacter pylori, Chlamydia pneumoniae, and human HSP60 (hHSP60) were measured in 48 patients with stable CAD and in 41 healthy controls by ELISA. CD14 genotype was determined by PCR and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) was measured. Results : Seropositivity to C. pneumoniae and H. pylori, and antibody titer to hHSP60 were not significantly associated with the presence of CAD. CD14 genotype distribution was 31 TT (35%), 43 CT (48%), and 15 CC (17%). To compare the response to the infectious organism and hHSP60, we divided study population into 3 groups; CAD patients with non-TT genotype (group I, n=30), CAD patients with TT genotype (group II, n=18), and normal controls (group III, n=41). Seropositivity to C. pneumoniae and H. pylori, and antibody titer to hHSP60 were not significantly different among 3 groups. Though hs-CRP level was significantly different among 3 groups, post-Hoc analysis showed that hs-CRP level was not significantly different between group I and group II (group I: 1.6[1.1-3.5] mg/L and group II: 0.35[0.1-2.0] mg/L). Conclusions : This study suggests that the inflammatory responses to infectious organisms and HSP do not differ according to the CD14 genotype in Koreans. 목적 : 만성적인 세균 감염이나 자가 면역 반응이 동맥경화와 연관되어 있다는 주장이 제기되어 왔다. CD14은 lipopolysaccharides (LPS)와 heat shock protein(HSP)의 수용체로 C(-260)→T 다형성이 관상동맥 질환의 위험과 관련되어 있다고 제안되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 한국인에서 CD14 다형성에 따른 LPS와 HSP에 대한 반응성을 염증표지자를 측정하여 살펴보고자 하였다. 재료 및 방법 : 안정형 관상동맥 환자 48명과 정상 대조군 41명을 대상으로 Chlamydia pneumoniae, Helicobacter pylori 항체 및 인체 HSP60 (hHSP60) 항체 역가를 enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) 방법으로 측정하였다. CD14 유전자형은 중합효소연쇄반응을 이용하여 결정하였고 hs-CRP를 측정하였다. 결과 : C. pneumonias 및 H. pylori 항체 양성 여부 및 항체 역가, 그리고 hHSP60에 대한 항체 역가는 안정형 관상동맥 질환의 유무와 유의한 상관관계는 없었다. CD14 유전자형의 분포는 TT 30명(39%), CT 31명(40%), 그리고 CC 16명(21%)이었다. 관상동맥 질환 군에서 TT 유전자형은 38%, 대조군에서는 32%로 TT 유전자형과 관상동맥 질환의 유무와는 유의한 상관관계가 발견되지 않았다(P>0.05). CD14 유전자형에 따라 C. pneumonias와 H.pylori 감염 및 hHSP60에 따른 반응에 차이가 있는지 여 부를 알아보기 위해, 관상동맥 질환 군을 다시 TT 유전자형 군과 non-TT 유전자형 군으로 나누어, 전체적으로 세군에서 항체 양성률과 역가를 비교하였다(I군: CD14 TT 유전자형을 가진 안정형 관상동맥 환자, II군: CD14 TT 유전자형을 가진 안정형 관상동맥 환자, III군: 정상 대조군). 세 군에서 C. pneumonias와 H. pylori 항체 양성률 및 hHSP60 항체 역가에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 세 군사이에 hs-CRP 값에 유의한 차이가 있었지만, post-Hoc분석에서 II군의 hs-CRP 값이 I군에 비해 유의하게 높지는 않았다(0.35 [0.1-2.0] mg/L in group II vs. 1.6 [1.1-3.5]mg/L in group I, P>0.05). 결론 : 본 연구는 한국인에서 CD14 유전자형에 따라 LPS나 HSP에 대한 반응이 유의하게 다르지 않음을 시사한다.

      • Gunn Diode Dipole Layer Mode의 周波數 特性

        When the n_0L product is greater than 10^12 cm^-2 in n-GaAs, the space charge perturbation in the material increases exponentially in space and time to form mature dipole layer which propagate to the anode. This is due to the inherent differential negative resistance characteristics of bulk n-GaAS. A velocity-field equation, whose characteristic is similar to that given by Ruch and Kino, was derived from the McCumber and Cynoweth's temperature model of electron distribution. Using this equation, a computer analysis was made to find out the variation of frequency of the Dipole Layer Mode of Gunn Oscillator due to the variation of notch width and doping donsity in n-GaAs bar. The result showed that the frequency is more affected by width than by doping density variation of the notch.

        A rational positive real function having simple poles, complex poles and arbitrary zeros in the s-plane has been investigated. The positive real fuction is realizable as an impedance function of RLC networks formed by connecting simple RLC subnetworks in series or in parallel. The realization conditions were obtained, and as an example, an RLC impedance function for the rational positive real function was synthesized.

      • 3D모델의 입모양 추가에 의한 수화생성시스템의 평가

        청각장애인과 건청인사이의 커뮤니케이션을 지원하기 위한 수화 생성시스템을 개발하고 있다. 이 시스템에서는 신체의 각 부위의 움직임에 대하여 Motion-Primitives를 기초로 하여 3D-CG 애니메이션으로 수화 단어 동작을 생성하고 있다. 수화는 손의 동작만 아니라 입모양이나 제스 쳐도 중요한 동작요소이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 제안한 시스템을 이용하여, 2명의 성인 청각장애인을 대상으로 수화단어 100단어에 대하여 평가실험을 행한 결과 종래의 시스템으로 평균 82%의 인식 율을 얻을 수 있었던 것에 비하여 제안한 시스템은 인식률에 있어서 57% 로 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. We have developed the sign-language synthesis system for the purpose of communications between normal people and the hearing-impaired. In the system, we generate the behavior of the sign-language words using 3D-CG animation based on Motion-Primitives of the motion observed from each region of the body. Not only hand motion is a parameter in order to generate the sign-language, but also a gesture and a mouth pattern are very important parameters. Therefore, in this paper, we have tested 100 words of the sign-language against the two hearing-impaired with the proposed system. As the result of testing by the proposed system, we have earned a good recognition rate with 87%. On the other hand, we had earned the recognition ratio with 82% by using the conventional system.

        Intestinal cannulation was developed for the study of enteric microflora, nutritional requirements and status. However, already established techniques revealed cause often leakage of the intestinal contents and necrosis of skin. For the prevention of contamination from the ingesta, modified ileal cannulation was performed in a pig. The pig was anesthetized by tiletamine-zolazepam(4.4㎎/㎏, IM) administration 10 minutes after administration of xylazine(0.5㎎/㎏, IM). We inserted resin cannula in the ileum incised and put the inner ring after employing purse-string suture in the ileum. We made the puncture incision in the body wall through which the cannula is drawn. The cannula was placed surgically at the ventral placement of cranial part and at the dorsal placement of caudal part. Cannula was fixed by placement of two outer washer, and sealed with cannula stopper. Laparotomy incision was closed by mattress suture. The pig was given postoperative penicillin(20,000 IU/㎏ IM) to prevent secondary infection for 3 days. There were not observed the entering of rubber cannula into the abdominal cavity, the contamination of ingesta and necrosis of skin, and good result was revealed.

      • 국내 주요 호수의 육수학적 조사(4): 주암호

        In this study limnological characteristics of Lake Juam was surveyed from June 1993 to May 1994 in order to provides important information regarding water resources. Seschi disc transparency, epilimnetic chlorophyll a(chl-a), tatal nitrogen(TN), total phosphorus(TP) concentration and primary productivity were in the range of 2.0~4.5 m, 0.9~13.6 mgChl/㎥, 0.78~2.32N/l, 11~56 mgP/㎥, 270~2,160mgCm^(-2)day^(-1), respectively. On the basis of TP, Chl-a and Secchi disc depth, the trophic state of Lake Juam can be classified as mesotrophic lake. The phosphorus inputs from non-point sources are concentrated in heavy rain episodes during the monsoon season. As a result, phosphorus concentration are higher in summer than in winter. TP loading from the watershed were estimated to be 0.9 gPm^(-2)yr(-1), which correspond to a boundary of the critical loading (1.0 gPm^(-2)yr(-1), which correspond to a boundary of the critical loading (1.0 gPm^(-2)yr(-1)) for eutrophication. From the results of the algal assay, both phosphous and nitrogen act as limiting nutrients in algal growth. The seasonal succession of phytoplankton community structure in Lake Juam was similar to that observed in other temperate lakes. Diatoms(Asterionella formosa and Aulacoseira granulata var. angustissima) were dominant in spring and winter, cyanobacteria (Microcystis aeruginosa, M. sp. and M. viridis) were dominant in warm season. The organic carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus content of lake sediment were 9.5~14.0 mgC/g, 1.01~1.82 mgN/g, and 0.51~0.65 mgP/g, respectively. The allochthonous organic carbon loading from the watershed and autochthonous organic carbon loading by primary production of phytoplankton were determined to be 1,122 tC/yr and 6,718 tC/yr, respectively. To prevent eutrophication of Lake Juam, nutrient management of watershed should be focus on reduction of fertilizer application, proper treatment of manure, and conservation of topsoil as well as point source.

      • Image digitzer의 設計 및 製作

        A generalized image digitizer has been designed to accept a atandard NTSC video signal and to digitize an arbitrary selected window of a stationary image by the program. The digitizer has a maximum resolution 512×440 pixel, and each pixel has 256 gray level. The hardware is powerftl and is controlled by the software, so that it is connedted with any microcomputer or minicomputer. Tpe results are displayed on the CROMEMCO graphic terminal.

        찻물에서의 Cd과 Pb 이온 제거에 관한 차입자의 효과

        차재료를 찻물에 담근 후 차건데기를 건저내고 마시는 차류의 중금속 제거력을 조사하기 위하여 Cd과 Pb 용액에서 보리차, 옥수수차, 쟈스민차, 현미녹차, 홍차, 결명자차, 감껍질차, 귤껍질차, 누룽지의 입자별, 농도별, 온도별 제거 정도를 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 입자의 크기가 작아질수록 모든 차에 있어서 중금속 제거력은 증가되었고, 금속별 제거량은 Cd는 결명자차(3.253∼6.136㎎/g)가, Pb은 쟈스민차(6.784∼7.557㎎/g)가 높았다. 농도별 중금속 제거량은 중금속의 농도가 증가할수록 증가하였는데 Cd와 Pb는 쟈스민차(1.209∼4.815㎎/g, 0.642∼7.004㎎/g)가 제거력이 높았다. 농도별 중금속의 제거작용은 모든 차류에서 증가되었으나 옥수수차는 Pb에서 0.497∼0.647㎎/g로 제일 낮았다. 온도별 중금속 제거량은 온도가 높아질수록 증가하여 Cd은 결명자차가 4.080∼7.799㎎/g, Pb는 쟈스민차가 7.003∼7.763㎎/g으로 증가하는 경향을 보였다. Removabilities of heavy metals(Cd and Pb) by the tea materials (barley-tea, corn-tea, jasmin-tea, brown rice-green tea, cassia tora-tea, persimmon peel-tea, orange peel-tea and rice-tea) in the tea-water were studied in the various conditions ; particle size of tea(20, 40, 70 mesh), concentration of heavy metal(25, 50, 100 ppm) and extraction temperature(20, 30, 50, 100℃). The removabilities by the tea solids were increased as the particle size decreased, concentration of heavy metal increased, and extracting temperature increased. Of the nine kinds of tea, Cd and Pb removability by jasmin-tea was highest. In addition, heavy metal removability by cassia tora tea was better than that of other tea as extraction temperature was increased.
