        This study conducted for analyze the process of physiological variation during shooting, and produce the basic data for training prescription to the performance improvement in Air Rifle Shooting, 9 Elite Rifle shooters )College 3, High School 3, Middle School 3) in GangWeon province were tested the physiological parameter which are Electrocardiograph(E.C.G), Heart-rate(H.R), Respiratory pattern, and Trigger time by polygraph system 8 channel from Sept. 1st to Sept. 10th, 1985. Analyzed experimental results are as follows; 1. Firing at T-P wave in E.C.G, 77.68bpm in H.R)16.68% by resulting H.R), the deep size of inspiration-expiration was low, and 8.34 sec of trigger interval were appeared when the shooter acquired high score. 2. The most effective factor among physiological parameters for excellent shooting score is the inspiratory volume with decresc breathing pattern. 3. Shooting performances correlated with stability and static-dynamic balance, but flexibility effected on negative correlation.

        광주·전남 지역에서 발생한 스포로트리쿰증 103예에 대한 임상적 고찰(1967-1996)

        Background : Sporotrichosis is most common deep cutaneous fungal disease in Korea. It is markedly variable in incidence, distribution, and colinical pattern. The epidemiology have been well known to change over years, and to be influenced by environmental condition and geographic location. Sporotrichosis in Kwangju and Chonnam area is more prevalent compared to other areas in Korea. Objective : Our purpose was to describe the prevalence, epidemiological and clinical features, regional distribution and the change of the incidence according to the climate in different regions. Method : the observation of 103 sporotrichosis patients confirmed by clinical, histopathological and mycological studies had been made in the Department of Dermatology at Chonnam National university Hospital for thirty years from 1967 to 1996. Results and Conclusion : The sporotrichosis patient was 0.09% of 108, 680 outpatients, prevalent at the age of thirties and forties(20%), and 3.2:1 in the ration between male and female. The 58% of total cases visited us within 3 months after the beginning of skin lesion. Almost all initial lesions appeared on the exposed areas, especially upper extremities(68%). The 74% of the total cases was lymphocutaneous type, and the rest was fixed cutaneous type. Most popular occupation of patients was farmer(60%). The 69% of patients visited in spring and winter, especially in february(17%). The incidence of sporotrichosis per average 100,000 population in districts of Kwangju and Chonnam area revealed a difference with the amount of rainfall in winter; average 1.8 person in an area above 125㎜,0.8 person in an area between 100㎜ and 125㎜, and 0.2 person in an area below 100㎜ These rsults suggest that the incidence and clinical features of sporotrichosis are influenced by occupations, leisure and occupational activities, living conditions, and the climate.

        Recently, the importance of lifelong learning has been reconized try to play their roles and perform their functions in the college. Regarding to this, it is recognize the importance of the lifelong activity of physical education that can be performed according to the cycles of ages and cycles of life through the tasks and the operation state of physical education department of a lifelong educational institute attached to a college that operates mainly lifelong education, and examine more active role for the citizens of a community to lead their qualitative lives and for development of physical education department. The physical education department in lifelong educational agencies attached to national and public colleges opened and operated the subjects considering to the characteristics of each college and course for a private license. It was shown that the most distribution in the course were the fixed number of twenty to thirty regular learners(73 classes), fifteen weeks as learning period(eighty classes), and hundred thousand to two hundred thousand won as learning expense(eighty classes). For the tasks faced by the curriculum of the physical education department, it is at the point of time which is needs to take positive attitude of coping with the changes in the paradigm of the lifelong education by a college by establishing the object or objective of physical education centered on demanders to form the complementary relation rather than to progress the opposed relation between leisure society and learning society. It is necessary to support the effective of management and the diversification of users by opening school facilities as the area of learning physical education during lifetime in connection with lifelong educational performed by professional leaders by complementing the problems about the licenses of the physical education in Korea. It is also required to have the system of service corps which can support the learning and activity of physical education performed by old men and alienated class during their lifetime, to manage human resources with their database, and to positively develop and apply various programs for the promotion about learning and activity of physical education performed by the inhabitants in a community during their lifetime through utilizing excellent human and material resources in a college.

      • 漸進的·急進的 運動負荷가 血液의 pH, Sugar 및 Lactate에 미치는 影響

        The purpose of this study is to in-vestigate the effects of gradual and radical exercise load on the treadmill for PH, Sugar and Lactate in Blood by selecting 14 subjects in H university, All subjects began exercise by 6mPH for 4 minutes at start and increased exercise speed up to HR 140 by increasing every minute as gradual load. And subjects began exercise by 9mPH at first and increased load up to HR 140 as radical exercise load. The results are as follows: (1) In PH in Blood, gradual exercise load is lower than radical training in all subjects. (p<0.05) (2) In Sugar in Blood, radical exercise load is higher than gradual exercise load in all subjects. (p<0.05) (3) In Lactic Acid in Blood, gradual training is higher than radical exercise load in all subjects. (p<0.01) (4) In Lactic Acid, all subjects showed high value and its is also in Sugar, than the method of exercise load is according to anaerobic energy metabolism.

        고지방식이가 백서 골격근 및 지방조직의 지방분해에 미치는 영향

        연구배경:지방산화의 증가가 골격근에서 인슐린 저항성을 유발한다는 주장이 꾸준히 제기되어 나왔으나, 최근 제2형 당뇨병 환자나 인슐린저항성 상태에서 골격근의 지방산화능이 저하되어 있다는 보고도 있어 논란이 있는 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 고지방식이를 투여하여 인슐린저항성을 유발한 백서에서 microdialysis 기법을 이용하여 조직내의 지방분해 결과로 간질액내로 방출되는 글리세롤 농도를 골격근 및 지방조직에서 직접 측정하여 지방분해의 변화를 알아보고자 하였다. 방법:정상 Sprague­Dawley 백서를 두 군으로 나누어 4주간 고지방식이 및 저지방식이를 투여하였다. 4주간 기저상태 및 고인슐린 정상혈당 클램프 중의 골격근 및 지방조직에 microdialysis probe를 삽입하고 일정한 농도의 글리세롤을 포함하는 dialysate를 통과시켜 주입액과 유출액의 글리세롤 농도 차이로부터 조직 간질의 글리세롤 농도를 산출하엿다. 결과:기저상태에서 골격근 및 지방조직 간질의 글리세롤 농도는 저지방식이군에 비하여 고지방식이군에서 유의하게 낮았다. 고인슐린 정상혈당 클램프 중에는 골격근 및 지방조직 간질의 글리세롤 농도가 양군에서 모두 억제되었는데, 기저 상태와 마찬가지로 골격근 및 지방조직 모두에서 저지방식이군보다 고지방식이 군에서 더 낮았다. 기저 상태에 대한 고인슐린 클램프중의 글리세롤 방출 억제 정도는 저지방식이군에 비하여 고지방식이군에서 덜 억제되는 경향을 보였는데, 골격근조직에서만 통계적으로 유의하였다. 결론:본 연구 결과는 고지방식이에 의한 인슐린저항성 모델에서 골격근 및 지방조직내 지방분해가 억제되어 있음을 보여주며, 기존의 포도당­지방산 cycle 이론과는 달리 조직내 지방산화의 증가보다는 지방산화능의 감소에 따른 세포내 지방축척이 인슐린저항성과 관련될 가능성을 시사하였다. Background : It has been hypothesized that increased fat oxidation reduces glucose utilization in skeletal muscle, and is responsible for the insulin resistance associated with obesity or high-fat feeding. In contrast, there have been reports that fat oxidation capacity was decreased in skeletal muscles from insulin resistant subjects. This study was undertaken to examine whether insulin resistance in high-fat fed rats is associated with increased lipolysis in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue. Methods : Two groups of Sprague-Dawley rats were fed either high-fat or low-fat diets for 4 weeks. Lipolysis in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue was determined by measurement of interstitial 1 glycerol concentrations by a microdialysis method in basal and hyperinsuline mic-euglycemic clamp conditions. Results : In basal state, plasma glycerol levels and interstitial glycerol concentrations of skeletal muscle, and adipose tissue were lower in high-fat fed than in low-fat fed rats. The degree of suppression of glycerol release by the hyperinsuline mia was smaller in the high-fat diet than in the low-fat diet group. However, plasma and interstitial glycerol concentrations during the hyperinsuline mic euglycemic clamps were also lower in the high-fat diet group. Conclusion : Lipolysis was decreased in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue of insulin resistant, high-fat fed rats. These results support the idea that limited fat oxidation capacity resulting in lipid accumulation in tissues, rather than increased fat oxidation perse, is responsible for the insulin resistance associated with high-fat feeding (J Kor Diabetes Asso 24:641~651, 2000).

      • 건선 병변부 및 병변주위부 피부의 Cytokines 유전자 발현

        It has been proposed that cytokines may be involved in mediating the characteristic pathological changes in psoriasis, including epidermal hyperplasia, compromised keratinocyte differentiation, and dermal and epidermal infiltration by polymorphonuclear leukocytes and mononuclear cells. The purpose of this study os to assess the pattern of cytokine gene expression in psoriatic skin lesion. To investigate the cytokine expression pattern, we examined the transcripts of cytokine genes using reverse transcription and polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method with 13 cytokine-specific primers. The Results were as follow; 1. Only the TGF-β gene was expressed in the normal skin. 2. IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-8, and TGF-β were detected in both lesional and perilesional psoriatic skin. The lesions showed more prominent expression. 3. IL-10 and GM-CSF were weakly detectable in three lesional psoriatic skin respectively, and IL-2R in two lesional psoriatic skin. 4. IL-2,IL-4,IL-5,IL-6 TNF-α, IFN-γ were not detectable on both lesional and perilesional psoriatic skin. Therefore, distinct differences in the cytokines gene expression were noted between normal and psoriatic skin. The patterns of cytokines gene expression in perilesional skin were similiar to those of lesional psoriatic skin.

        Low Dose Exposure to Di-2-Ethylhexylphthalate in Juvenile Rats Alters the Expression of Genes Related with Thyroid Hormone Regulation

        Phthalates widely used in the manufacture of plastics have deeply penetrated into our everyday lives. Recently, a concern over the toxicity of phthalates on thyroid, has been raised but in most of cases, the doses employed were unrealistically high. To investigate the effects of phthalates on thyroid, we investigated the effects of the repeated oral exposure to low to high doses (0.3, 3, 30 and 150 mg/kg) di-2-ethylhexylphthalate (DEHP) from weaning to maturity for 90 days in juvenile rats on the thyroid. The histological examination revealed that DEHP significantly induced hyperplasia in the thyroid from the doses of 30 mg/kg, which was confirmed with Ki67 staining. In line with this finding, increased mRNA expression of thyrotropin releasing hormone (Trh) was observed in the thyroid of female at 0.3 mg/kg and 150 mg/kg as determined by RNAseq analysis. Moreover, significantly increased expression of parathyroid hormone (Pth) in the female at 0.3 mg/kg, and thyroglobulin (Tg) and thyroid hormone responsive (Thrsp) in the male at 0.3 mg/kg were noted in the blood, of which changes were substantially attenuated at 150 m/kg, alluding the meaningful effects of low dose DEHP on the thyroid hormone regulation. Urinary excretion of mono-2-ethylhexyl-phthalate (MEHP), a major metabolite of DEHP was determined to be 4.10 and 12.26 ppb in male, 6.65 and 324 ppb in female at 0.3 and 30 mg/kg DEHP, respectively, which fell within reported human urine levels. Collectively, these results suggest a potential adverse effects of low dose phthalates on the thyroid.

      • 조선업 근로자의 목부위 자각증상의 유병률과 관련 요인

        Background and Objectives : This study examined prevalence and related factors of musculoskeletal symptoms on area of necks of shipbuilding workers in order to prevent musculoskeletal disorder and find out its managerial plans. Materials and Methods : this study targeted 1, 159 male shipbuilding workers who work for large suipbuilding companies, and interviewed them using organized questionnaire having short answer questions in February, 2003. Results: The prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms (pains, anesthesia, and numbness) of the subjects was 16.0% on necks. As a result of multiple logistic regression analysis, the following results were obtained : sleeping hours, working departments, extra working hours, perceived amount of working, availability of dispensary were significantly related with symptoms on neck. When the variables that had significant relation with prevalence of neck area symptoms were analysed health behavior, it was found that the odds ratio of the group who had more than sufficient sleeping hours was 1.70 times higher than that of the group who had not. When they were examined in terms of occupational characteristics, the odds ratio of the subcontract company workers was 0.44 times lower than that of the parent company workers, and that of the group who had two hours of extra working hours was 1.78 times higher than that of the group who did not. The odds ratio of the group who thought the perceived working amount was slightly over the proper level was 1.49 time higher, and that of the group who thought it was excessively over the proper level was 3.21 times significantly higher. The odds ratio of the group who thought availability of dispensary was moderate was 1.84 times significantly higher than that of the group who thought it was easy. Conclusion : It was found that 16.0% of shipbuilding workers had musculoskeletal symptoms on neck, and their deom-sociological, occupational, and socio-psychological characteristics affected the symptoms. Therefore, to decrease musculoskeletal symptoms of shipbuilding workers, wording and socio-psychological condition should be improved by considering related factors of the workers.
