      • 사이클링 선수의 슬관절각에 따른 하지동작의 운동학적 분석

        This study set out to evaluate the appropriateness of the height of a cycle saddle which was usually set based on a cyclist's experience and simple judgment. For this purpose, there was aroused a need to study what a cyclist's leg movements were according to the knee joint angle, that is, to study how a cyclist's leg joint angles and angular velocity would change at each pedaling. Seven male college cyclists were selected, and their pedaling movements were divided into four phases. The images were taped at 60fields/sec, using two video cameras. The KWON 3D 2.1 program was adopted to calculate and synchronize the 3D coordinates values which were calculated with DLT(Direct Liner Transformation), in order to analyze kinematical factors. The results were as follows: 1) There was found no difference between foot joint angles according to changes of knee joint angles in each phase. But it became clear that Phase 1 and 2 where the foot angle got bigger were the area where the foot joint was expanded and that Phase 3 and 4 where the foot angle got smaller were the area where the foot joint was bent. Accordingly, the area which gives a great indirect impact to the changes of foot joint angles is considered to be the first part of Phase 3 at which point the cycle of pedaling starts. 2) In terms of the difference of foot joint angular velocity according to knee joint angles, there was found a relatively stable deceleration in the decelerating area(Phase 3 and 4) while you could detect faster changes in the acceleration area(Phase 1 and 2) than in the decelerating area. 3) The changes in the angle difference of knee joints according to each knee joint angle showed almost similar patterns for every knee joint. But the patterns had the graph model of the opposite shape to that of the angle difference of foot joints. 4) The research went on to see what kind of difference the knee joint angle made as knee joint angular velocity changed. The changes were unlike the foot joint angular velocity and thus showed relatively slow deceleration and acceleration. And the higher the saddle was set, the bigger the difference of the angular velocity was. 5) The difference of hip joint angles according to knee joint angles made a graph pattern which showed no big correlation with the height of a saddle. 6) In considering how hip joint angular velocity would change according to knee joint angles, the higher a saddle was set, the bigger angular velocity was found in Phase 1 and 2, the area of joint expansion and the smaller angular velocity in Phase 3 and 4, the area of joint bending. Comparisons and analysis were made based on the results above mentioned. The conclusion was that the lower a saddle which was one of the three experiment conditions was set, the smoother the pedaling turned and the bigger the angular velocity was resulted. In other words, when you take a long road cycling with your saddle fixed at a little lower height than the average one, you will consume less physical strength and expect better performance.

        래칭 릴레이의 온도에 따른 동작 특성 변화

        Electrical relay in an essential part of smart grids, electrical vehicles, and LED lightning systems. Therefore, studying relay reliability is important. Relays using permanent magnet actuators (PMAs), which are energy efficient, are also in the spotlight. However, most of the permanent magnets used in PMAs have a characteristic wherein the magnetic flux decreases as the temperature increases. When the magnetic flux is reduced, the force acting on the actuator is reduced. Therefore, in this study, we measured the decrease in the relay operating speed with permanent magnet reduction due to temperature rise. In addition, changes in the bouncing phenomena due to magnetic flux reduction were analyzed. As a result, the operating speed of the relay has decreased and the bouncing phenomenon has not significantly changed.

        겹침이음실험을 통한 삼중나노소재 혼입 철근콘크리트보의 부착성능에 대한 실험적 고찰

        This study aims to assess the impact of combining triple hybrid reinforced concrete with carbon nanotubes, nanosilica, and graphene oxide on bond strength. The mechanical properties of these materials were evaluated through material testing and assessed bond strength via lap-splice experiments. The material testing revealed that nano-reinforced concrete had a slight increase in compressive strength compared to regular concrete but showed a significant improvement in splitting tensile strength. It also exhibited decreased volumetric strain and Poissons ratio. To understand if these mechanical properties influenced bond strength, laboratory splice experiments were conducted using eight reinforced concrete specimens, varying splice length and cover thickness. The results of the lap-splice experiment showed variations in bond strength depending on the inclusion of nanomaterials in the mixture, with varying increases in bond strength as splice strength changed. This suggests that the combination of these triple nanomaterials does impact the bond performance of concrete.

        자궁경부암 조직에서 동시항암화학방사선치료의 반응 예측인자로서 p53, Bc1-2, Bax, Survivin의 분석: 예비보고

        목적: 자궁경부암 환자에서 동시항암화학방사선요법 시, 치료 반응에 따른 세포고사 조절 유전자들인 p53, Bc1-2, Bax, Survivin의 발현 양상의 변화를 분석하여 치료 반응을 예측할 수 있는 지표를 확인하고자 한다. 연구방법: 아주대병원 산부인과에서 침윤성 자궁경부암으로 진단 후, weekly cisplatin (40 mg/m2)을 이용한 동시항암화학방사선요법을 받은 환자 14명을 대상으로 하여 치료 시작 전과 2번째, 4번째 항암화학요법 후, 총 3회의 자궁경부 조직생검을 시행하였다. 각 자궁경부 생검 조직에서 면역화학염색과 Western blotting을 시행하고 이들 자궁경부암 조직에서 세포고사 조절 유전자들의 발현 양상을 분석하였으며, 이를 각 환자의 임상병리학적 예후인자들과 비교 분석하였다. 결과: 동시항암화학방사선요법에 반응이 없는 치료 무반응군은 2예 (14.3%)였으며, 이 군에서 p53과 Bax 발현은 치료 전과 치료 중 모두에서 관찰되지 않았으나 Bc1-2와 Survivin은 모두 강한 발현을 보였다. 한편, 완전관해 또는 부분관해를 보인 치료 반응군은 각각 11예 (78.6%), 1예 (7.1%)였으며, 이 군에서 세포고사 조절 유전자 중 Bc1-2 발현은 치료가 진행됨에 따라 감소하는 양상을 보였으며, 다른 단백의 발현은 유의한 변화를 보이지 않았다. 임상병리학적 예후인자들과 면역조직화학적 염색 결과 사이의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, p53, Bc1-2, Bax, Survivin 발현의 변화와 예후인자들 사이에 유의한 상관관계가 없었다. 결론: 본 예비 연구 결과에 따르면, Bcl-2 발현이 동시항암화학방사선요법의 치료 반응을 치료 종결 전에 미리 예측할 수 있는 하나의 지표로 사용될 가능성이 있는 것으로 판단된다. 그러나 이와 같은 가능성을 확립하기 위해서는 앞으로 더 많은 환자군을 대상으로 한 연구가 필요하리라 생각된다. Objective: The objective of this study is to explore changes of the expression of apoptosis-regulating genes, p53, Bc1-2, Bax, and Survivin in cervical cancer tissues during concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT). Methods: The expressions of apoptosis-regulating genes were evaluated in 14 patients with invasive squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix, who underwent 6 cycles of CCRT using weekly cisplatin, with immunohistochemical staining and Western blot of p53, Bc1-2, Bax, Survivin. Specimens of the cervical carcinomas were obtained by punch biopsy before starting CCRT and just after 2nd and 4th cycle of weekly cisplatin. We analysed the results with clinicopathological factors of the patients. Results: Among 14 patients, 2 (14.3%) patients did not respond to CCRT. In these 2 cases, p53 and Bax were not expressed before and during therapy, while the expressions of Bc1-2 and Survivin were increased. Complete response and partial response were obtained in 11 cases (78.6%) and 1 case (7.1%), respectively. In this reponse group, Bc1-2 expressiondecreased seriallyduring the treatment, but the expression ofother apoptosis-regulating genes showed no significant change. There was no correlation between the clinicopathological prognostic factors and expressions of p53, Bc1-2, Bax, and Survivin. Conclusion: In this preliminary study, we deduced that Bc1-2 expression might predict response of CCRT even before completing treatment. In order to establish this possibility, a large scaled study should be needed in the future.

        This study defined the way to distribute power of forward channel and suggested a new model for prediction power in order to minimize the deterioration of call quality and performance in the CDMA mobile communication system of narrow band using 1.2288MHz of narrow band. Each change in Ec/Io was measured for the factors affecting wireless environment(e.g. the changes in power of overhead channel, the changes in a number of call channel, and the increase in interference from the additional facilities of adjacent base station or other systems) to know the influence on the wireless environment of forward link. The new way for power distribution to a base station in operation and its validity was checked by comparing before and after test.

        구면과 비구면 RGP 렌즈 장기 착용시 각막 상피, 내피에 미치는 영향-주사전자현미경적 관찰

        To investigate the comparative effect of spherical and aspherical RGP lens were worn during 3 weeks on rabbit's cornea. Four white rabbits were worn right eyes with spherical lens and 4 white rabbits were worn right eyes with aspherical RGP lens. Left eyes were served as control. The rabbits were sacrificed at 3 weeks after fitting and observed morphological changes by scanning electron microscopy and also investigate proliferation rate of the corneal epithelium with RGP wearing. After spherical RGP lens wearing, the epithet layer damaged compared to aspherical lens. The superficial cell layer strip off seriously, cell size significantly changed abnormal. Both spherical and aspherical RGP lens fitting group showed so many bacteria and back surface of lens was found like a fern shape. The aspherical RGP lens original material type was some formal than spherical lens. We thought that these pattern was significantly altered with spherical lens by prohibited transmitter oxygen from atmosphere therefore the epithelium shape was changed. This suggested wearing the aspherical lens might be less physiologic than shperical lens fitting. 구면과 비구면 RGP렌즈 장용시 효과를 비교하기 위하여 3주간 실험토끼 눈의 각막에 콘택트렌즈를 착용 시켜 조사하였다. 8마리의 흰 실험토끼 눈 중 4마리의 우안은 구면 RGP렌즈, 4마리의 우안은 비구면 RGP렌즈를 착용 하였다. 왼눈은 대조군으로 사용하였다. 콘택트렌즈착용 3주 후 안구를 적출하여 형태변화를 주사전자현미경으로 관찰하였으며 RGP렌즈를 착용시 각막 상피 세포증식률을 조사하였다. 구면 RGP렌즈를 착용 후, 상피층은 비구면에 비하여 손상을 받았고 상피층은 심하게 벗겨져 나갔으며 세포 크기는 비정상으로 변하였다. 구면과 비구면 렌즈 두 군 모두 많은 박테리아가 보였으며 렌즈의 후면은 양치류 모양의 형태를 발견하였다. 비구면 렌즈의 원재료는 구면렌즈보다는 다소 정형적으로 보였다. 이러한 형태는 대기로부터 산소 전달을 방해함으로 인하여 구면렌즈를 착용한 군에서 각막을 변화시킨 것으로 생각된다. 이 논문은 구면 렌즈보다는 비구면 렌즈가 생리적으로 각막 세포에 덜 영향을 미쳐 더 적합한 것을 제시한다.

      • N/O/N 박막 다이아프레임을 이용한 광섬유 압력센서의 제작 및 그 압력특성

        The 0.6 μm N/O/N triple layer, Si_(3)N_(4)(150 nm)/SiO_(2)(300 nm)/Si_(3)N_(4)(150 nm), was deposited on silicon substrate and the N/O/N thin film diaphragm was formed using anisotropic etching technique. The stress of the formed diaphragm was very small with temperature variations. Combining this diaphragm and the optical fiber, intensity-type pressure sensor was fabricated and its pressure characteristics were investigated. The relation between the optical output power, inversely proportional to the deflection of the diaphragm, and the applied pressure was almost linear in 0~77 torr range.

      • 한국 회나무(Euonymus planipes), 참회나무(E. oxyphyllus)와 나래회나무(E. macropterus)의 잎의 형질비교

        한반도에 분포하는 참회나무, 회나무, 나래회나무의 영양기관에서의 유효 식별 형질을 확인하기 위하여 166점의 표본 조사를 통해 단변량 분석을 실시하였다. 3종을 대상으로 4개의 정량형질(잎의 길이, 잎의 너비, 엽두의 길이, 엽병의 길이)을 측정하였다. 형질 분석 결과 3종에 대한 잎의 형질은 종간 차이를 보이지 않아 종간 식별에 도움이 되지는 않았다. 따라서 본 분류군에 있어서 잎의 형질만을 가지고 종을 식별하는 것은 타당하지 않고 반드시 꽃이나 열매가 있어야 이 분류군을 인식할 수 있다고 판단된다. 분포에 있어서 회나무는 강원도에서 평안도에 걸쳐 분포하고, 참회나무는 백두대간을 중심으로 한반도 북부까지 분포하며 나래회나무는 한반도 남쪽지역을 중심으로 분포하는 양상으로 보여 분류군 간에 다소 차이가 있지만 대부분 강원도를 중심으로 분포가 겹친다. Leaves of 166 specimens were sampled to investigate patterns of interspecific variation and to evaluate recognition of Euonymus planipes, E. oxyphyllus. and E. macropterus using four leaf characters (length, width, apex length, and petiole length). This study suggested that these leaf characters were not useful to identify these taxa. Therefore, it is only possible to identify these closely related taxa based on flower and fruit characters unlike other horticulturists' view.

      • 삼출성 중이염 환자에서의 혈중 및 아데노이드 면역글로불린 E의 면역혈청학적 연구

        Otitis media with effusion (OME) is one of the most common disease in children but its pathogenesis is not clear. In particular the role of allergy has revealed conflicting support with widely varing opinions as to its importance. Within recent years, striking biochemical and immunochemical analytic techniques have opened a new approach the study of otitis media with effusion. So we focused on distributions of IgE in adenoid tissue and serum IgE levels. Authors compared the serum IgE and the distribution of IgE in adenoid tissue between the 20 patients underwent tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy and ventilating tube insertion and control group of 11 patients underwent tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. The results were as follows; 1. In the distribution of IgE in adenoid tissue, there was a significant increase in the group of patients with OME compared to the control group (P<0.01). 2. In the analysis of serum IgE levels, the levels of IgE in the OME patients an control group were higher than normal level, although the level of IgE in the OME patients were less than that of control group, there was no significance P>0.05).
