        수종의 피부종양에서 Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen과 Ki - 67 의 표현에 관한 비교 연구

        Background : Both PCNA and Ki-67 have been used as marker for cellular proliferation. The drawback of Ki-67 antibody in immunohistochemistry was that it can be labelled only on fresh tissue, however, MIB1 is a newly developed Ki-67 antiboc which can be labelled on formalin-fixed tissue. Objective : The purpase of the present study is to compir the stainability of the Ki-67 antibody with that of the ICNA antibody on formalin-fixed, para fin embedded tissues. Methods : Using MIE1, the newly developed Ki-67 antibody and PC10(PCNA antibody), speci mens of squamous cell carcinoma(SCC), Bowens disease(BL), actinic keratosis(AK) and basal cell epithelioma(BCE) were stained by one hour immunocytial, mistry using a Microprobe immuno/DNA stainer. Results : The labelling indices (LI) of MIB1 were 82.6%, 37.4%, 38.3% & 81.1% respectively in SCC, BD, AK & BC, while the LI of PC10 were 77.69%, 26.6% & 64.4%. The labelled cells of both antibodies differed in distribution patterns on turmor tissues. Conclusion : MIBI cain be used to be an alternative m.rl r for proliferating cells. MIBI PC10, when used together, will be mutually compensatory the study of proliferating cell kinetics. (Kor J Dermatol 1995;33(3): 453-458)

        MaxEnt 모델링을 이용한 기후변화 시나리오에 따른 서어나무 (Carpinus laxiflora)와 개서어나무 (C. tschonoskii)의 분포변화 예측

        Hornbeams (Carpinus spp.), which are widely distributed in South Korea, are recognized as one of the most abundant species at climax stage in the temperate forests. Although the distribution and vegetation structure of the C. laxiflora community have been reported, little ecological information of C. tschonoskii is available. Little effort was made to examine the distribution shift of these species under the future climate conditions. This study was conducted to predict potential shifts in the distribution of C. laxiflora and C. tschonoskii in 2050s and 2090s under the two sets of climate change scenarios, RCP4.5 and RCP8.5. The MaxEnt model was used to predict the spatial distribution of two species using the occurrence data derived from the 6<sup>th</sup> National Forest Inventory data as well as climate and topography data. It was found that the main factors for the distribution of C. laxiflora were elevation, temperature seasonality, and mean annual precipitation. The distribution of C. tschonoskii, was influenced by temperature seasonality, mean annual precipitation, and mean diurnal rang. It was projected that the total habitat area of the C. laxiflora could increase by 1.05% and 1.11% under RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5 scenarios, respectively. It was also predicted that the distributional area of C. tschonoskii could expand under the future climate conditions. These results highlighted that the climate change would have considerable impact on the spatial distribution of C. laxiflora and C. tschonoskii. These also suggested that ecological information derived from climate change impact assessment study can be used to develop proper forest management practices in response to climate change.

        모형식품의 리올로지 특성

        The model foods were prepared by simulating mositure, protein and starch, and they were heated for 30 mins, at 80℃ and then cooled at 25℃ in water bath. Their rheological properties were investigated by the use of Brookfield wide-gap rotational viscometer at 30~60℃, and the rotation speed ranged from 0.6 to 6 rpm and solid content ranged from 8% to 11%, the results obtained were as follows. 1. All the model foods (P_1S_3, P_2S_2, P_1S_1, P_2S_1, P_3S_1, P_4S_0) exhibited pseudoplastic behaviors with yeild stress and were thixotropic foods which showed time - dependent structural decays, but the starch food of 8~11 % solid content did not show the flow behavior. 2. The correlation between the rheological parameters and the protein content of model foods in various moisture content did not appeared a constant relationship. 3. The change of shear stress against shear rate in high starch foods was larger than that in high protein foods and the structure at initial shear time was decayed with a quatic equation according to the Tiu's Model and structural decay was in parallel with the increase of shear rate. 4. The temperature dependency of the apparent viscosity of P_1S_2, and P_2S_1 was fully expressed by Arrhenius equation and activation energies of their food were 2.35 and 1.34 Kcal/g·mol, respectively.

      • 濟州道의 導入牛에 있어서 고사리 中毒의 發生 狀況 및 그 對策에 對한 調査 硏究

        The authors investigated the status of an outbreak of bracken poisoning, and counter-measures, among recently introduced cattle (from Nov., 1976 to Oct., 1979) belonging to 19 ranches on Jeju Island. 1. 364 head of a total of 2396 head (Aberdeen Angus 948, Brahman 188, santa 231, Shorthorn 334, Simmental 26, Hereford 101, Holstein 568) showed the symptoms of bracken poisoning, and 159 head died between May, 1979 and Oct., 1980. 2. It was recognized that Holstein, Shorthorn, Angus were sensitive, and Brahman, Santa, Here ford were resistant to the bracken toxicity. 3. As counter-measures against bracken poisoning, 1) pasture improvement and it's reasonable management, 2) optimal time (October-November) for introducing the cattle, 3) proper calf management, and 4) the early diagnosis of bracken poisoning were suggested.

        Under the current energy crisis over the world, energy conservation should be urgently sough in every related aspect and hence the heat conservation design of dwelling house is accordingly a prevailing task to architects and engineers. This study deals mainly with the design concept on the architectural point of view and prepares a guide for the design of the distribution of solar radiation in the peninsula. The major findings are as follows: 1) In measuring the heat transmission and in its calculation, the thermal conductivity should be applied taking into account to the regional variation and in general 5-8 Kcal/m²h ℃ and 20-30 Kcal/m²h ℃ are recommended as the heat transfer coefficient, for inner and outer surface respectively for the practical purpose. Details for design are shown in a figure and a table. 2) Taking into consideration the locality at 24 regions, D^16.5-10.5 Degree day shows variation ranging from 1,048 to 2,666. 3) Economic justification of heat conservation works should be analyze in relation with Degree day. 4) Calculation with field survery date demonstrates that outdoor temperature for heating design ranges from -4℃ to -15℃ below the freezing point over the nation except Cheju-Island. 5) The use of heat insulation materials is strongly recommended in material design for house energy saving and the standard of K-value applied to new house should be prepared.

      • Benz(a)anthracene이 마우스태자 간조직 세포의 소핵출현에 미치는 경태반효과

        In order to adduce the cytogenic effect of Benz(a)anthracene(B(a)A) in pregnant mice through placental barrier to fetus, 125㎎/㎏, 250㎎/㎏, 500㎎/㎏, of B(a)A were administrated to groups of mice 16th pregnancy day About 20 hrs later, freauency of micronuclei in polychromatophilic normoblasts of liver tissues extracted from fetus was measured At the same time, 200 ㎎/㎏ and 400 ㎎/㎏ of Benzo(a) pyrene(B(a)P) were administered with same procedure to compare the frequencies between in cases of B(a)A and B(a)P administration. Especially incase of B(a)A administration, frequencies of their appearances in bone marrows of mother mice and livers of fetuses were compared. On the other hand, pathological changes of fetus liver caused by B(a)A and B(a)P in mothers were observed through microscopic examination in order to reconfirm and compare their transplacental effects. As the results, cytogenic toxicity for feture caused of B(a)A was confirmed. It means that some amount of B(a)A which was administered to pregnant mice could be transmitted to fetus through placental barriers Mutagenicity caused of B(a)A was higher in fetus than mother mouse. The cytogenic toxicity caused of B(a)A both for mother mouse and fetus was lower than that of B(a)p.

        육상식품 섭취경로에 의한 선량계산 모델에서 파라메터의 불확실성 및 민감도 분석

        육상 섭취 경로에 따른 내부 피폭선량 계산 모델 KFOOD의 파라메터 불확실성 및 민감도를 몬테칼로법을 사용하여 수치 분석하였다. 쌀을 통한 경로의 경우 KFOOD 코드에 의한 예측치는 아주 보수적인 값을 나타내었다. 모델에서 민감도가 큰 입력변수는 방사능의 침적속도와 식물전이계수였다. Parameter uncertainty and sensitivity of KFOOD model for calculating the ingestion dose via terrestrial food-chain pathway was analyzed with using Monte-Carlo approach. For the rice ingestion pathway, estimated values from KFOOD code were very conservative. Most sensitive input parameters in model were deposition velocities and soil-to-plant transfer coefficient of radionuclides.

        In acetone-ammonia system with amines, N-Substituted hydrazone was synthesized by the oxidation of hydrogenperoxide. The results are as follows : 1. The yield of phenylhydrazone was increased and that of azone decreawed with increasing the aniline added. 2. The excess of aniline was unfarorable for preparation of both azine and hydrazone. 3. Similar behavior was observed for t-butylamine to afford acetone t-butylhydrazone and azine, while cyclohexylamine resulted in the exclusive formation of 2-cyclohexyl-3, 3-dimethyloxaziridine.

        침엽수로부터 발생되는 방향성 테르펜의 배출속도 비교 연구

        In order to investigate the composition ratio and the emission rate of monoterpenes emitted from coniferous trees during summer, the enclosure chamber experiments were carried out for two tree species (Pinus densiflora and Pinus rigida). The major monoterpenes from the pine trees were α-pinene, β-pinene, myrcene and β-phellan-drene. There was no difference of the composition ratio between two sites for P. densiflora, but the difference was observed for P.rigida, Clearly, the ratio of β-pinene (26.1%) for P.rigida was higher than that of β-phellandrene (12%) at the Gumsung mountain site, but the ratio of β-phellandrene (22.2%) was higher than that of β-pinene (9.9%) at the Chiri mountain site. Particularly, the composition ratio of β-phellandrene was higher than that of β-pinene for P.densiflora, and the opposite trend was found for P.rigida at the Gumsung mountain site. The characteristics of the composition ratio between two species were similar at the Chiri mountain site. As a result of the emission rate measurements, it was observed that both sites did not show any significant β value (slope between emission rate and temperature) and ERs (Standard Emission rate at 30℃) difference. However, the β value and ERs at the Chiri mountain site were slightly greater than those of Gumsung mountain site for both pine species. P.densiflora(1.703 and 1.971㎍C/gdw/hr) showed the higher monoterpene ERs than those of P.rigida (0.572 and 0.698 ㎍C/gdw/hr) at both sites.
