      • 都市人의 住居空間 使用量에 關한 硏究 : 大田地方 獨立住宅 外部空間을 中心으로 in Case of Single Detached Housing at Daejeon

        The research of spatial criteria for housing environment used to be limitted to the space of interior leaving the problem of outdoor space impact on the livability criteria wide open. Though man extends his living space vertically, the degree of spatial extension always depends on the availability of two-dimensional space that is land space. As the residential land use consumes almost more than 40% of urban areas criteria for the optimum land space consumption and arrangement for the habitable environment should be critical. This thesis analyzes some reality and image of such spatial consumption behavior as lot size and floor area of the single detached housing and also evaluates the problem of regulatory mesures or criteria for housing and land use policy. The analyzes is based upon the sample survey for the single-family housing in the city of Daejeon and consists of three parts : 1) the existing(actual) and desired (expected) residential space in terms of lot size and floor area. 2) The correlation between building coverage and lot size. 3) The significance test for the relation between space consumtion and time and number of household sharing the same lot The important findings are; 1) People want more space-1.6 times the present equally both for lot and floor area. 2) Building coverage decreases proportionally with the increase of lot size with strong correlation (r=0.98) for the present space consumption and moderate correlation (r=0.61) for the desired space consumption. 3) Both lot size and floor area have not teen changed significantly over times. 4) The spatial distribution (both lot & floor area) has the positive weak skewness (skewness=0.5 for lot, skewness=0.36 for floor area) which implies that the mean value is larger than the median value and the median larger than the mode (mean=60 pyung, median=53 8 pyung, mode=40~50 pyung for lot, mean=25 pyung, median=23 5 pyung. mode=20~25 pyung for floor area). The present regulatory measure of building coverage is under-utilized for the larger lots (over 45 pyung) and over-utilized for the smaller lots (under 25 pyung). Therefore, the present uniform application of building coverage (ex. 60%) shoud be discriminated according to different lot sizes based upon the regression coefficient derived from such survey research as this thesis. The considerable stability of the spatial behavior either in expectancy or in time variation in case of Daejeon may suggest good possibility of criteria formulation for the residential spatial planning It is expected that this tiny research should demonstrate some desirable approaches to evaluating not only housing spatial enviroment but also the formulation of spatial criteria for better planning and design.

        본연구를 통하여 얻어진 결론을 토대로 세계대회의 정상을 석권하기 위하여 다음과 같은 제언을 하고자 한다. 1) 각종 국제대회의 참가선수들에 대한 기술분석 및 새로운 정보를 모집해야 할 것이다. 2) 승패에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 기술들에 대한 연락기술 및 되치기기술을 습득하고, 한판승부율이높은 기술들에 대한 방어력을 길러야 할 것이다. 3) 경기중 반칙률이 높은 중량급 선수들에게 보다 정교한 기술을 습득시켜야 할 것이다. 4) 결양급 선수들도 정확한 기술을 습득하여 과공한 공격으로 한판 승부를 내야 할것이다

      • 室內 色彩에 關한 硏究(Ⅱ) : HOTEL LOBBY 色彩計劃의 實狀分析 Analysis of the existing color scheme of Hotel Lobby

        This study is intended to provide basic data for color adjusting techniques for interior space by surveying and analyzing the existing color schemes of a hotel lobby in Korean and one in Japan. For this objective we have referred to records concerning colors of hotel lobbies and analyzed the existing color schemes in Korea and Japan. The findings include the followings; 1) The hues are comprised of only warm colors, the values are high and the chroma are low in Korean hotel lobbies. 2) In comparison with color schemes found in Japan; the hue is as warm as that in Japan, the chroma is of the same low value as in Japan, but the value is lower than that in Japan by two degrees. 3) While hotels world-wide show similar colors and hues, private houses manifest great variations according to individual tastes.

      • 工業高等學校 建築敎育內容의 改善에 關한 硏究

        The curriculum should be modified subject to the progress of the architectural technology and the changing industrial needs. The current objectives and functions of the technical high school is recognized to move into the practically oriented training which is somewhat likely to be voactional education from the middle class engineering education. This study identified the prevailing problems pursuant to architectural education based on the survey of the following scope. 1. Analysis of the relevance of the curriculum to the educational objectives 2. Reviewing the educational contents in the major fields 3. Interviewed the subject teachers and educators 4. Teaching/Learning resource A suggestion on the curriculum was presented as the conclusion.

      • 住宅의 保溫設計에 關한 硏究 : 열관류저항과 보온의 지역성을 中心으로 Especially is heat transmission resistance and the locality of heat conservation

        Under the current energy crisis over the world, energy conservation should be urgently sough in every related aspect and hence the heat conservation design of dwelling house is accordingly a prevailing task to architects and engineers. This study deals mainly with the design concept on the architectural point of view and prepares a guide for the design of the distribution of solar radiation in the peninsula. The major findings are as follows: 1) In measuring the heat transmission and in its calculation, the thermal conductivity should be applied taking into account to the regional variation and in general 5-8 Kcal/m²h ℃ and 20-30 Kcal/m²h ℃ are recommended as the heat transfer coefficient, for inner and outer surface respectively for the practical purpose. Details for design are shown in a figure and a table. 2) Taking into consideration the locality at 24 regions, D^16.5-10.5 Degree day shows variation ranging from 1,048 to 2,666. 3) Economic justification of heat conservation works should be analyze in relation with Degree day. 4) Calculation with field survery date demonstrates that outdoor temperature for heating design ranges from -4℃ to -15℃ below the freezing point over the nation except Cheju-Island. 5) The use of heat insulation materials is strongly recommended in material design for house energy saving and the standard of K-value applied to new house should be prepared.

      • 建築工業敎育科 敎育改善에 관한 硏究 : 敎育課程을 中心으로 Focused on the development of curriculum

        Due to the radical change of society and the technological innovation, it is inevitable to rearrange the educational objective of the Department of Architectural Engineering Education and to reorganize the curriculum responding to the objective. In this study, all the current curricula of architectural institutions have been analized to identify problems, and the educational objective of the department of architectural engineering education have been established based on the objective of the College of Industrial Education. As the result of the above studies, the model curriculum for the major subjects have been developed in order to have following characteristics. 1. The required subjects were limited to the basic fields in order to cover the education in the technical high school. 2. The elective subjects were organized into three fields, namely, architecture, structural engineering, and building materials and construction to meet the diversified demands to a possible maximum extent.
