실리카흄을 흔입한 고강도 콘크리트 개발

콘크리트 구조물이 대형화됨에 따라 설계단면이 증대되어 상대적으로 많은 경제적 손실을 부담하게 된다. 따라서 단면을 감소시키면서도 소요의 하중에 안전한 구조물을 건설하기 위해서는 우선적으로 구조물 건설에 기초가 되는 고품질, 고내구성의 고강도 콘크리트 개발이 절실히 요구된다 본 연구에서는 일정 시멘트비 및 혼화재 비율하에서 소요의 워커빌리티가 확보되는 고강도 콘크리트를 시간과 온도의 변화에 따라 증기 양생하여, 압축, 인장, 휨강도 뿐만 아니라 파괴특성을 실험적으로 연구하였다. 시료 제작시 시멘트 입자 사이의 공극 및 불연속 영역을 충전하여 고밀도화하기 위한 콘크리트용 혼화재로 시멘트 비표면적이 상당히 작은 초미립 분말인 실리카흄을 이용하였다. 또한 AE감수제 및 고성능 유동화제를 사용하여 혼화재의 첨가에 의하여 발생될 수 있는 워커빌리티의 감소를 방지하였다. 실험결과에 의하면 일정 양생 지속 시간하에서 온도의 증가에 따라 콘크리트의 압축, 인장 및 휨강도가 전반적으로 증가하였다. 동일하게 일정 온도하에서 양생 지속시간이 커짐에 따라 강도들이 증가됨을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 상대적으로 높은 온도와 긴 지속 양생 조건하에서 파괴에 대한 저항력이 크게 나타났다. The compressible, tensible, and flexibleresistance of the high strength concrete is analyzed by the experimentation in the present study. For the test, we cure several samples with the silica fume as a mixture being become dense the spaces between the particle of cement under the variation of both the temperature and the curing-interval. Then, the superplasticizer and the ezcon are also used to satisfy the required workability for construction. The compressible, tensible, and flexible resistances to a stress are increased as increasing the temperature and the time interval for the curing. Therefore it is concluded that the overal fractural and mechanical properties is improved by mixing the silica fume into the cement.

A 14-year-old male pomeranian was present with swollen left ear. The swelling occurred from base to apex of pinna. Otitis externa persisted for two years. Hematological and serum biochemistry values were not remarkable. The surgery treatment was the most appropriate method among indwelling drain, surgical, and steroid treatment in the aural hematoma because the dog was very sensitive to touching pinna and the size of aural hematoma. Longitudinal incision was applied after general anesthesia. Cefovecin was injected to prevent secondary infection. The outcome of surgery was good. There was no evidence of recurrence for one year.

Paraquat 중독환자의 초기검사로서 sodium dithionite를 이용한 소변내 paraquat검출의 임상적 의의

Background : Mortality from paraquat intoxication depends upon plasma paraquat concentration. To know the severity of paraquat intoxication is important for directing therapeutic modality and predicting prognosis. Sodium dithionite test for urinary paraquat provides an easy and simple method to determine the severity of paraquat intoxication in emergency department. purpose : To determine whether the result urinary paraquat test by sodium dithionite can predict outcome in patients with paraquat intoxication in emergency department. Subjects : 48 patients(male 31, female 17, mean age 37 years) who had exposure to paraquat and presented within 24 hours after exposure. Result : Thirty five patients were positive in paraquat urine test and thirteen patients were negative. Clinical manifestations were more severe in positive patients than in negatives. Complication was much more in positives than in negatives. 28 of 35 patients(80%) in positives and 2 of 13 patients(15%) in negatives died. Conclusion : Positive test for urinary paraquat is associated with high mortality and morbidity from paraquat intoxication, and qualitative test for urinary paraquat by sodium dithionite is an useful method to determine the severity of paraquat intoxication in emergency department.

Limy bile is a rare condition characterized by excessive precipitation of calcium carbonate in the gallbladder or bile duct. Recently we experienced two cases with obstructive jaundice in which limy bile in the common bile duct but not in the gallbladder for one case, and in the common bile duct and intra hepatic duct but not in the gallbladder for another case. The patients were treated by endoscopic sphincterotomy. Here, we report the cases and review the literature.

운동시의 습관적인 이 악물기가 치경부 수복물에 가해지는 스트레스를 분산하기 위한 마우스가드의 사용

마우스가드는 19세기 복싱선수들의 구강내 열상과 연조직의 외상을 막기 위해 사용되었다. 최근에는 치과영역에서 다양하게 사용되고 있으며, 운동 보호 장치, 미백용 장치물, 교정용 유지 장치, 수술용 가이드 장치, 턱관절 안정 장치물 등에 쓰이고 있다. 습관적인 이 악물기에 의한 반복적인 5급 수복물의 탈락은 우선 이 악물기에 의한 스트레스를 조절한 후 수복이 이루어져야 한다. 마우스가드는 이 악물기에 의한 스트레스를 조절하는 장치물로 사용할 수 있다. 본 증례에서는 마우스가드로 치아에 가해지는 스트레스는 감소시키는 것에 대해 논의 할 것이다. 마우스가드를 사용함으로써 반복적인 탈락을 나타내는 5급 수복물의 유지에 단기적으로 만족스러운 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 만약 환자 및 치과의사가 이 악물기로 반복적인 탈락을 나타내는 수복물로 고생하고 있다면, 마우스가드의 보조적인 사용이 치경부 수복물의 유지에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. Mouthguards were used to protect boxers from lip lacerations and other soft tissue injuries in the late 19th century. Now they are used various parts of dental treatment, which are sports protective aid, bleaching tray, orthodontic retainer, implant insertion guide tray, splint and so on. Repeated dislodgement of Class V restoration due to habitual clenching stress should be restored with stress control. Mouthguard can be used as stress relief device. This case describes methods that can relieve occlusal force to teeth by using mouthguard. Satisfactory results can be obtained by using mouthguard for retention of repeated dislodgement Class V restorations. If patients suffered from repeated restorations of Class V due to clenching, mouthguard can be used additional device to relieve the occlusal stress in conservative dentistry.

유성견 소구치 정출시 치아 및 치주 조직의 초기 조직학적 변화 및 재생에 관한 연구

본 실험은 유성견에서 인위적인 정출 시 조직학적 , 임상학적인 반응과 시간경과에 따른 치아 및 치아 주위조직의 회복을 연구하기 위해 생후 평균 10개월 웅성 잡종 유성견 하악 소구치를 대상으로 Energy chain을 이용한 정출 실험으로, 실험 1 군은 힘을 작용 시킨 후 일주일만에 희생시키고, 실험 2군은 정출력을 가한 후 일 주일 후, 정출력이 제거되고 3주간의 회복 기간 경과 후에 희생시켰다. HE 및 Masson`s Trichrome 염색법을 이용하여 치아와 주위조직의 반응을 치경부, 치근 중앙부, 치근단부, 치수부로 분류하여 광학 현미경하에서 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 힘을 가한 후 일 주일 후, 모든 부위에서 치주인대의 주행방향이 치아를 향하여 사선 방향을 나타내 주었으며 치주인대의 간격이 전반적으로 증가되었다. 또 부분적인 치주 인대의 파열이 치근단부에서 뚜렷하게 관찰되었다. MT소견에서는 대조군에 비해 치조능 부위에서 미성숙 골의 형성을 보여주었다. 주위 치조골에서는 편측으로 활발한 골조직의 형성이 관찰되었다. 치수에서는 치근단 부위에서 많은 혈관의 파열을 보여 주었고 공포의 형성과 충혈을 나타냈다. 2. 힘을 제거된 후 3주간의 보정을 한 군의 모든 치주인대의 주행 방향과 간격이 대조군과 같이 회복되었으며 밀도는 치밀하게 나타났다. MT 소견에서 1군에서 형성된 치조능의 미성숙 골이 석회화가 이루어짐을 보여주었고 치수의 공포와 충혈의 감소를 보여주었다. 수복과정에서의 치수의 섬유화가 더욱 진행되었다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 3주간의 회복 기간 중에도 치주 인대 부위에서는 대조군과 유사한 조직 소견을 보여 상당한 회복능력을 보였지만 치수에서는 섬유화가 진행됨을 보여 더욱 긴 회복 기간이 필요함을 보여주었다. This study was carried out in order to study early histologic changes and repair reaction appling to extrusive force for 3rd premolar of adult dogs. After 1 week of extrusive force with elastic chain, one of dogs was sacrified and after 3 weeks retention period, another dog was sacrified. The paraffin sections of samples were stained with Hematoxylin - Eosin and Masson`s Trichrome and were examed by light microscopy. The obtained results as follows 1. In Hematoxylin - Eosin and Masson Trichrome stain of control group, the periodontal ligament width was constant from apical third to cervical third of the root and periodontal fiber arrangement was horizontal or oblique in cervical third, oblique in middle third, oblique in apical third of root, in alveolar bone, smooth appearance was shown. 2. In Group 1, all periodontal fiber arrangement was oblique toward tooth, and the periodontal ligament width increased. Partially P D L was ruptured in apex. In MT stain, immature bone formation was seen at alveolar crest area. Active bone formation was observed along the one side of alveolus, and apical portion of pulp was involved with blood vessel rupture, vacuolization of pulp tissue and hyperemia. 3. In Group 2, most periodontal ligament arrangement and P D L width was repaired and fiber density increased. In MT stain, mineralization of immature bone on the alveolar crest was progressed. In pulp, vacuole and hyperemia was diminished and fibrotic change was diminished. 4. After 3 week periodontal ligament has more repair ability than pulp tissue pulp was involved with vacuolization and fibrosis, so it takes more time for repair.

Though the problem of constituency system, at a glance, seems to be a technical matter, it has, in reality, significant meaning in realizing the democracy. The work for revision of Election Law being spotted on the problem of constituent arrangement, the proportional representative constituency system appears as a new issue in & out-party. The writer attempted to suggest the basic direction of constituency system, by analizing and testing the problems which the theorist of single-member constituency system protested, and by drawning up the balance sheet of it. 1) Under the single-member constituency system, can't be expected the accuracy of representation but can be framed the parliament which is apart from public opinion. It also make the autocracy possible. The stability of government what is the merit of small constituency system is not always corresponding with the stable parliament. 2) It is exaggerated, theory that the adoption of single-member constituency system make the two-party system possible. Two-party system if it has been possible, in Korea might be maintained by another elements except the single-member constituency system and it only make the two party system last which has been created already. 3) Single-member constituency system, by making the election campaign furious, make it corruptive. 4) Under the single-member constituency system we can't expect the saving of election expenses, for the constituency is narrow and the dealing of votes with money is possible. In spite of above claims, the writer is not to protest the wholesale adoption of proportional representative constituency system. Because, ignoring the existing status, the radical innovation of constituenay system brings about the counteraction, therefore, the writer proposes the constituency system of West Germany type, as it were, mixed constituency system, after having considered the environments in Korea.
