        한의학 기반 반려동물용 치료기술 개발 관련 특허 분석

        Objective : In this study, we conducted to analysis the patents about Korean medicine based treatment technology for pet. Methods : We collected the Korean, Japan, USA, China, EU and PCT patent for the Korean medicine-based treatment technology for pet using WIPSON data base registered by October 4, 2020 were selected. Results : Patents for the development of pet Korean medicine-based treatment technology have been constantly applied since the mid-2000s, starting in 1990, with a total of 84 applications. The number of patent applications filed in Korea was the largest, after Japan and China. The detailed composition of the applications reported until now is pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of pet were the most applied with 39%(33 cases), followed by feed used as stocks for pet at 36%(30 cases). According to the patent application rate by disease, most of applications rate composed to be associated with immunity in 2009 to 2013 with 40% of applications. In 2014 to 2018 43% of patent applications are associated with gastrointestinal/digestive system. In this regard, multiple applications were filed in the order of immunity, digestive system, obesity and urinary system. Conclusion : This study analyzed the trend of 84 patents about Korean medicine-based treatment technology for pet to date to establish the basis for future research and development. There were many applications related to immunity from 2009 to 2013, and since then, related to digestive disease from 2014 to 2018.

      • Development of science program using astronomical data in the history of Korea

        Science we have perceived as genuine science is based on western scientific enterprise, that is, western modern science(WMS). The K-12 science curriculum in Korea absolutely contains WMS content. Elkana(1981) criticized the indifference of comparative science in the field of science, whereas there have been a lot of comparative studies of art, religion, ethics, and politics. Science is the product not only based on 'western' culture but all cultural around the world including Korea. People have consistently observed and tested for such a long period of time all over the world. Traditional science of Korea can be related to multiculturalism, which has become important in many fields. Korea has a lot of great scientific enterprises, such as astronomical instruments of Chosun Dynasty and ancient data of natural phenomenon in Samguk-saki or Samguk-Yusa. It is expected that students will consider them as more 'objective' and 'realistic' things rather than 'artistic' and 'distinguished' things. Astronomy was also very important in the East because they believed sky as king, which results in the development of a lot of astronomical data and instruments in Korean history. In this study, we developed three units of science programs using astronomical enterprises in Korea: 1) Activities with our sundial, Angbuilgu:, 2) data interpretation of natural phenomenon in ancient Korea, 3) experience in Gyeongbokgung Palace. From these programs, we expect that students will develop a profound understanding and take pride in our science.

        Kinetic Spray 공정으로 제조된 Nb 코팅 소재의 미세조직 및 물성에 미치는 열간 등압 성형(HIP)의 영향

        Niobium is one of the most important and rarest metals, and is used in the electronic and energy industries. However, it's extremely high melting point and oxygen affinity limits the manufacture of Nb coating materials. Here, a Nb coating material is manufactured using a kinetic spray process followed by hot isotactic pressing to improve its properties. OM (optical microscope), XRD (X-ray diffraction), SEM (scanning electron microscopy), and Vickers hardness and EPMA (electron probe micro analyzer) tests are employed to investigate the macroscopic properties of the manufactured Nb materials. The powder used to manufacture the material has angular-shaped particles with an average particle size of $23.8{\mu}m$. The porosity and hardness of the manufactured Nb material are 0.18% and 221 Hv, respectively. Additional HIP is applied to the manufactured Nb material for 4 h under an Ar atmosphere after which the porosity decreases to 0.08% and the hardness increases to 253 Hv. Phase analysis after the HIP shows the presence of only pure Nb. The study also discusses the possibility of using the manufactured Nb material as a sputtering target.

        Kinetic Spray 공정으로 제조된 탄탈륨 코팅층의 열처리 분위기에 따른 미세조직 및 물성

        The effect of heat treatment environment on the microstructure and properties of tantalum coating layer manufactured by kinetic spraying was examined. Heat treatments are conducted for one hour at $800^{\circ}C$, $900^{\circ}C$, and $1000^{\circ}C$ in two different environments of vacuum and Ar gas. Evaluation of microstructure and physical properties are conducted. High density ${\alpha}$-tantalum single phase coating layer with a porosity of 0.04% and hardness of 550 Hv can be obtained. As heat treatment temperature increases, porosity identically decreases regardless of heat treatment environment (vacuum and Ar gas). Hardness of heat treated coating layer especially in Ar gas environment deceases from 550 Hv to 490 Hv with increasing heat treatment temperature. That in vacuum environment deceases from 550 Hv to 530 Hv. The boundary between particles became vague as heat treatment temperature increases. Oxygen distribution of tantalum coating layer is minute after heat treatment in vacuum environment than Ar gas environment.

        Clinical Predictors of the Region of First Structural Progression in Early Normal-tension Glaucoma

        Purpose: This study aimed to compare the clinical characteristics of patients who showed structural progression in the peripapillaryretinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) first against those who showed progression in the macular ganglion cell-inner plexiformlayer (GCIPL) first and to investigate clinical parameters that help determine whether a patient exhibits RNFL or GCIPLdamage first. Methods: A retrospective review of medical records of patients diagnosed with early-stage normal-tension glaucoma wasperformed. All eyes underwent intraocular pressure measurement with Goldmann applanation tonometer, standard automatedperimetry, and Cirrus optical coherence tomography at 6-month intervals. Structural progression was determinedusing the Guided Progression Analysis software. Blood pressure was measured at each visit. Results: Forty-one eyes of 41 patients (mean age, 52.6 ± 16.7 years) were included in the study. In 21 eyes, structural progressionwas first detected in the RNFL at 54.2 ± 14.8 months, while structural progression was first observed at the macularGCIPL at 40.5 ± 11.0 months in 20 eyes. The mean intraocular pressure following treatment was 13.1 ± 1.8 mmHg for theRNFL progression first group and 13.4 ± 1.8 mmHg for the GCIPL progression first group (p = 0.514). The GCIPL progressionfirst group was older (p = 0.008) and had thinner RNFL at baseline (p = 0.001). The logistic regression analyses indicated thatboth age and follow-up duration until first progression predicted the region of structural progression (odds ratio, 1.051; 95%confidence interval, 1.001–1.105; p = 0.046 for age; odds ratio, 0.912; 95% confidence interval, 0.840–0.991; p = 0.029 fortime until progression). Conclusions: Age of glaucoma patients and time until progression are associated with the region of the first structural progressionin normal-tension glaucoma. Further studies exploring the association between glaucomatous progression and thelocation of damage are needed.

        양자점이 고밀도화된 마이크로 비드의 제조 및 특성

        The spherical mesoporous silica is synthesized and incorporated with CdSe/ZnS quantum dots(QDs) for preparing micro beads to detect toxic and bio-materials with high sensitivity. The spherical silica beads with the brunauer-emmett-telle(BET) average pore size of 15 nm were prepared with a ratio 1, 3, 5-trimethylbenzen, as a swelling agent, to the block-copolymer template surfactant of over 1 and under vigorous mixing condition. The surface of spherical mesoporous silica is modified using octadecylsilane for incorporating QDs. Based on photoluminescence(PL) spectra, the relative brightness of mesoporous silica beads incorporated with 10 nM of QDs is 79,000 times brighter than that of Rodamine 6 G.

        무전해 Ni-P 두께와 Assembly Process가 Solder Ball Joint의 신뢰성에 미치는 영향

        The ability of electronic packages and assemblies to resist solder joint failure is becoming a growing concern. This paper reports on a study of high speed shear energy of Sn-4.0wt%Ag-0.5wt%Cu (SAC405) solder with different electroless Ni-P thickness, with $HNO_3$ vapor's status, and with various pre-conditions. A high speed shear testing of solder joints was conducted to find a relationship between the thickness of Ni-P deposit and the brittle fracture in electroless Ni-P deposit/SAC405 solder interconnection. A focused ion beam (FIB) was used to polish the cross sections to reveal details of the microstructure of the fractured pad surface with and without $HNO_3$ vapor treatment. A scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and an energy dispersive x-ray analysis (EDS) confirmed that there were three intermetallic compound (IMC) layers at the SAC405 solder joint interface: $(Ni,Cu)_3Sn_4$ layer, $(Ni,Cu)_2SnP$ layer, and $(Ni,Sn)_3P$ layer. The high speed shear energy of SAC405 solder joint with $3{\mu}m$ Ni-P deposit was found to be lower in pre-condition level#2, compared to that of $6{\mu}m$ Ni-P deposit. Results of focused ion beam and energy dispersive x-ray analysis of the fractured pad surfaces support the suggestion that the brittle fracture of $3{\mu}m$ Ni-P deposit is the result of Ni corrosion in the pre-condition level#2 and the $HNO_3$ vapor treatment.

        계층적 의사결정과 컨조인트 분석의 타당성 비교: 화장품 선호 사례 조사

        본 연구는 대안이 많지 않은 의사결정에서 계층적 의사결정론(analytic hierarchy process)과 컨조인트 분석 간의 비교를 다루었다. 계층적 의사결정론은 속성들의 쌍대비교 과정을 거쳐 속성의 중요도를 추정한 후 대안들의 순위를 추정하는 방법이며, 컨조인트 분석은 대안의 순서로부터 속성의 효용을 추정하는 방법으로, 의사결정의 과정이 다르기에 두 방법을 직접적으로 비교하는 것은 다소 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 Scholl (2004)의 타당도 척도를 사용하여 두 방법을 S대학 여학생들의 화장품 선택 사례 연구를 통하여 두 방법을 서로 비교하였다. 사례연구 결과 컨조인트 분석은 내적타당도가 높게 나타났으며, 계층적 의사결정분석 방법은 예측타당도가 높게 나타남을 볼 수 있었다. In this paper, we consider the comparisons of the personal preferences of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and conjoint analysis (CA) which contain very relatively small number of alternatives. However, a direct performance comparison is not easy because these two methods have a much different process to achieve the final decision. Therefore, we adopt a validity and reference method with empirical case study for cosmetics preference of female college students. In case study, conjoint analysis has the merit of measuring internal validity; however, AHP has the merit of measuring predictive validity.

        탄뎀 가스메탈아크 용접의 토치 극간거리에 관한 실험적 연구

        The tandem welding process is one of the most efficient welding processes widely used in material joining technique such as manufacturing of strong and durable structures. It facilitates high rate of joint filling with little increase in the overall rate of heat input due to the simultaneous deposition from two electrode wires. The two electrodes in tandem welding process helps in high-efficiency and high productive of welding process. In this study a automated tandem welding system is developed to determine the correlation between cathode and anode and compared with current ratio of the two electrode torch. Three different inter-electrode distances were chosen, 25mm, 35mm and 45mm to perform the experiment with three different current ratio. From the experiment results, the current ratio between two torch has a large impact on width, height and depth of penetration. In addition, a stable bead geometry is obtained when inter-electrode distance is 35mm.
