본 연구의 목적은 피난 효율 최적화에 중점을 두고 복합상업시설 계획에서 용도에 따른 최적의 매장 배치를 위한 계획 방안 및 가이드라인을 도출하는 데 있다. 효율적인 시뮬레이션을 위해 IFC몰의 모듈화된 평면을 기반으로 시뮬레이션을 통해 매장의 용도에 따른 다양한 배치안을 분석하여, 다음과 같은 매장 배치 가이드라인을 도출했다. 첫째, 전체 공간에서 많은 면적을 차지하는 매장을 우선적으로 배치한다. 둘째, 피난 효율을 위해 대형 매장을 우선 배치하지 않아도 된다. 셋째, 시설의 층보다는 수직 코어와의 근접성이 더 중요하므로, 층수보다는 코어의 위치에 더 주의하는 것이 바람직하다. 이러한 가이드라인을 기존 IFC 몰 평면도에 적용하고, 분석을 통해 가이드라인의 실효성을 검증했다. 본 연구는 복합상업시설의 건축 계획뿐만 아니라 기존 건물의 리모델링에도 적용 가능하다는 점에 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to derive the architectural guidelines for the optimal layout of tenants according to their use types during thearchitectural planning phase of multi-use commercial building with a focus on optimizing evacuation efficiency. For the efficient simulations,various layout alternatives for different use types of the tenants were analyzed through simulation based on the modularized plan of the IFCMall and the layout guidelines of tenants were derived as follows. First, prioritize the placement of tenants that occupy a significant area inthe overall space. Second, it is permissible not to prioritize placing large tenants favorably for evacuation. Third, proximity to the verticalcore of tenants is more crucial than the floor level of tenants, and it is advisable to be more responsive to the core location rather thanchanging floors. The derived guidelines were applied to the existing IFC mall floor plan, and the analysis was conducted to validate theeffectiveness of the guidelines. This study holds significance not only for the architectural planning phase of multi-use commercial buildingbut also for remodeling existing buildings. It emphasizes providing differentiated difficulty levels for evacuation based on each use types oftenants, enabling a more proactive response from an evacuation perspective.
Review of Sarcoidosis in a Province of South Korea from 1996 to 2014

Background: Since the introduction of endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)–guided transbronchial needle aspiration (TBNA) of mediastinal lymph nodes, the incidence of histopathologically-confirmed sarcoidosis has increased. Methods: The electronic medical records of Chonnam National University (CNU) Hospital and CNU Hwasun Hospital (CNUHH) were searched for confirmed cases of sarcoidosis diagnosed between 1996 and 2014. Cases were selected using a combination of clinical, radiological, and pathological evidence. Of 115 cases with the relevant disease codes, 16 cases were excluded, as they had not been confirmed pathologically or had no definitive clinical features of sarcoidosis. Results: Among 99 cases of confirmed sarcoidosis, only nine patients were diagnosed with sarcoidosis before 2008; the rest were diagnosed from 2008 onward, after the introduction of EBUS-TBNA. EBUS-TBNA was used in 75.8% of patients, open surgical biopsy in 13.2%, and mediastinoscopic biopsy in 5.1%. At the time of diagnosis, 42.4% of sarcoidosis cases were at stage I, 55.6% at stage II, and 2% at stage III. Spontaneous remission of sarcoidosis was observed in 33.3% of cases, and stable disease in 37.4%; systemic steroid treatment was initiated in 23.2% of cases. Of the patients treated with systemic steroids, 69.6% showed improvement. The median duration of steroid treatment was 5 months. Conclusion: Following the introduction of EBUS-TBNA, the number of newly diagnosed sarcoidosis patients has increased. Clinical features of sarcoidosis were similar to those previously reported. Spontaneous remission occurred in about one-third of patients, while one-fourth of patients required systemic steroid treatment.

Carbon fiber-reinforced composites are used in various fields owing to their lightweight and excellent mechanical properties. In this study, we evaluated the sewing potentialof carbon fiber-reinforced composite materials for applications in textile products suchas shoes, bags, and accessories. We evaluated the sewing strength and elongation accordingto the type of carbon fiber-reinforced composite (thermoplastic, thermosetting), typeof sewing thread (nylon, cotton, etc.), and number of plies (2-ply, 3-ply, 4-ply). The surfaceaccording to the sewing conditions was confirmed by microscopic analysis.
