        성인 남·녀의 신체특성 및 하지 근 특성과 균형능력 간의 관계 분석

        The purpose of this study is to investigate a relationship among physical characteristics, balance ability and muscle tone. It is also to figure out whether these variables show differences by gender type. 62 adults (Male : 32, Female : 30) participated in this study. Automatic measuring height machine (height), Inbody720 (weight), Myoton PRO (Rectus femoris, Biceps femoris), Pedalo balance system (Coordination front-back), Y-balance test were conducted to measure the variables of height, weight, muscle tone (frequency, elasticity, stiffness) and dynamic/static balance ability. The data were analyzed using the pearson’s correlation coefficient among physical characteristics, balance ability and muscle tone. The results of this study are as follows: First, the significant correlation was shown between static balance ability and height, weight & rectus femoris muscle elasticity in male group. Second, the significant correlation was shown between dynamic balance ability and height & weight in male group. Third, the significant correlation was shown between static balance ability and rectus femoris elasticity in female group. Forth, the significant correlation was shown between dynamic balance ability and height, rectus femoris elasticity & biceps femoris frequency in female group. In conclusion, it seems that there is a relationship between balance ability and physical characteristics. And women has stronger correlation between balance ability and muscle tone than men. Therefore, this results can help future study about muscle tone and balance by giving standard data to researchers.

      • The Comparative Analysis on Balance Ability of Throwers between Excellent ATHLETES and Non Excellent ATHLETES

        This study aimed to provide fundamental data contributing of throwers between excellent athletes and non excellent athletes by investigating the influence on balance ability. Forty voluntary throwers (20 Excellent Ath-letes, 20 Non Excellent Athletes) with an understanding toward the aims of this study were selected in 2017 Gim-Cheon athletic championship, and their balance abilities were measured. As for the static balance ability, excel-lent throwers group was higher than non excellent throwers group in Up(U), Right(R), Down(D), and Left(L) static balance ability of body balance variables. Especially, there is a significant difference in Up(U) and Left(L) static balance ability of the body balance variables statistically. As for the dynamic balance ability, excellent throwers group was higher than non excellent throwers group in Up(U), Right(R), Down(D), and Left(L) dynamic balance ability of exercise balance variables. Especially, there is a significant difference in Up(U), Right(R), Down(D), and Left(L) dynamic balance ability of the exercise balance variables statistically. The study results indicate that body balance and exercise balance of thrower effected the athletic ability.

        치료면의 질이 편마비환자의 균형에 미치는 효과

        A decrease in the ability to maintain static and dynamic balance after stroke could be related to the inability to select reliable sensory information in producing relative motor action needed to maintain postural stability. The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of two different types of surface conditions on the balancing ability of subjects with stroke. Eighteen hemiparetic subjects were assigned to an experimental and control group participating in a six-week rehabilitative therapeutic exercise program focusing on balance and mobility. Exercises were performed 3 to 5 times per week in a stable surface condition by the control group, and in an unstable surface condition by the experimental group. Pre- and post test assessments involved the measurement of the static balance and dynamic balance, respectively by 7-item Berg Balance Scale-3P and by Pro-3 Balance System. Results showed that under the unstable surface condition, static balance in the experimental group showed more improvement than that of the control group.(Statistically, not very significant.) All the aspects of dynamic balance and mediolateral sway(balance) improved significantly than those of the control group. However, there were no significant differences between two groups. Overall, it can be concluded that under the unstable surface condition, the rehabilitative therapeutic exercise programs are effective in improving the dynamic balance of stroke subjects. The results suggest that the adaptation of the unstable surface in the rehabilitative therapeutic exercises could be effective for the patients with hemiplegia in balance. Further studies are needed to confirm the effectiveness of the unstable surface on improving balance and postural stability of hemiplegics.

        중·장년층의 균형력과 근 적성과의 관계

        [INTRODUCTION] The purposes of this study were to analyze relationship between balance ability, strength, and muscle power and investigate gender differences of these variables. [METHOD] Two hundreds sixty subjects (130 male and 130 female in mid-age group) participated in this study. We used balance system SD (Biodex Medical System Inc., U.S.) to obtain static and dynamic balance index and biodex system 4 pro, an isokinetic test equipment for left, right knee strength and muscle power. Pearson's correlation value between the observed variables were obtained and their significance was verified. Independence sample T-test were performed with α = .05. [RESULTS] The findings were as followings: First, the static and dynamic balance ability and knee muscle strength were significantly correlated. Second, the static and dynamic balance ability and knee muscle power had a significant correlation. Third, left/right knee strength and knee muscle power in men and women were significantly correlated each other. Fourth, the static balance ability of the left leg support and right leg support showed stronger results in men than women, but women were better than men for the dynamic balance ability of the right leg support and both legs support. Fifth, knee muscle strength was higher in men than women. Sixth, muscle power was higher in men than women. [CONCLUSION] These results suggest that participants in middle age show consistent correlation with muscle strength and muscle power per unit weight. Therefore, the weigh may be a critical factor to maintain their balance. Conversely, there was no significant difference between muscle strength and muscle power in gender, dynamic and static balance ability. There are more complex and sensitive factors involved in balance ability, thus further follow-up study will be needed in the future. [서론] 이 연구는 중·장년층에서의 균형력과 근력, 근파워의 상관관계를 분석하고 이들 변인의 성차를 구명하는데 그 목적이 있다. [방법] 이 연구의 피검자는 중·장년층 남자 130명, 여자 130명 계, 260명이었다. 이들을 대상으로 균형력 검사 장비를 사용하여 정적·동적 균형지수를 구하였고, 등속성 근육적성 검사 장비를 사용하여 좌·우측 무릎 근력 및 근파워를 측정였다. 이 연구의 가설을 검증하기 위하여 관찰변인들 간의 Pearson's Correlation를 산출하고 그 유의성을 검증하였으며, 각 변인의 성차에 대하여 독립표본 t-검증(Independent t-test)를 실시하였다. 가설검증의 유의수준은 α=.05로 설정하였다. [결과] 근력과 근파워는 균형력과 일관성 있는 상관관계를 나타내었으나, 절대값 보다는 단위체중당의 근력·근파워가 더욱 다각적인 측면에서의 균형력과 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 단위체중당의 무릎 근력과 근파워는 남성이 여성에 비하여 강한 것으로 나타났으나, 균형력은 정적 균형에서는 여성보다 남성이, 동적균형에서는 여성이 남성보다 우수하여 상반된 결과를 보였다. [결론] 노화 과정에 있는 중장년층 남녀의 균형력은 단위체중당의 근력·근파워와 일관성 있는 상관관계를 보임으로써 균형력을 유지하는데 있어서 근육적성 뿐만 아니라 체중이 중요한 변수가 될 수 있다는 것을 시사하고 있다. 한편 근력과 근파워의 성차와는 달리, 동적․정적 균형력에서 남녀 간에 일관성 있는 성차가 나타나지 않음을 볼 때 균형력에는 보다 복잡하고 민감한 요인들이 관계하고 있다고 하겠다.

        카이로프랙틱과 테라테인먼트적 운동프로그램이 거북목증후군 대상자들의 균형능력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to compare the balance ability of the subjects with the turtle neck syndrome according to the alignment of the cervical vertebrae. X-rays were measured on subjects with symptoms of turtle neck syndrome. Military neck (n=9) and turtle neck (n=9) were classified according to cervical alignment status. The two groups were treated with chiropractic and exercise program for 4 weeks. And static and dynamic balance were measured before and after. Data were analyzed by using SPSS Ver. 23.0. The mean and standard deviation of each variable were calculated and repeated measures were performed by two-way ANOVA. In order to verify the intergroup interaction, and to verify the differences between the groups in the presence of interactions, we conducted a t-test of the independent sample and t-test of the corresponding samples to verify the change according to the time in the group. There was a mutual main effect in the static balance of both group, and a significant change was observed and the balance ability was improved. In the dynamic balance, the main effect was shown in the left and the sum, and significant change in the period was shown and the balance ability was improved. In addition, there was no mutual main effect on the right X axis and Y axis and bias total, but showed an improvement in balance ability. Both groups showed improvement in balance ability, but the improvement in balance ability was greater in the turtle neck group than in the military neck group. The combined treatment of chiropractic and exercise programs is an effective way to improve the balance ability of subjects with turtle neck syndrome symptoms. The difference in balance ability in the mild military neck group and the severe turtle neck group suggests the need to study the two groups separately.

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was find out the effect on balance ability and agility of treadmill on locked and opend hearing. Methods : This study has 74 people, participate the experiment. Subjects were divided into two group, Which consist of of a group with an opend hearing(M:20, F:18), a group with Locked hearing(M:20, F:16). Balance ability assessment methods were balance master, agility assessment methods were dynavision 2000. Exercise methods included tread mill. First evaluated balance ability and agility , next walked in tread mill 30minutes. next re- evaluated balance ability And agility measured by balance master and dynavision 2000. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 22.0 version. Results : The results of this study were as follows: 1. Analyzing the differences of balance among two groups, there was no statistically significant differences, two groups were progressed balance ability. 2. Analyzing the differences of agility , there was no statistically significant Difference among two groups. two groups were progressed agility. Conclusion : Comparing the dynamic balance and static balance, there two groups were progressed balance ability. On agility was also progressed on locked group and opend group.

        운동교육 프로그램이 정신지체아동의 동작모방능력과 균형능력에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of movement education program on movement imitation ability and balance ability of children with mental retardation. The subjects of this study were twenty children with mental retardation who were divided into two groups, experimental and control. They were active during total 30 sessions by using MGL(Move-Grow-Learn)movement education program. The definite purposes of this study were as follows;First, the effect on movement imitation ability of children with mental retardation followed by application of movement education program has been elucidated. Second, the balance ability of children with mental retardation followed by application of movement education program has been elucidated. In conclusion, the movement imitation ability and the balance ability of children with mental retardation were improved after MGL(Move-Grow-Learn) movement education program. furthermore, it provided remarkable and positive effect on the movement imitation ability and the balance ability. Therefore, it need to study make clear the relation of the movement imitation ability and balance ability through diversity movement education programs in mentally retarded children in subsequent studies. 본 연구는 MGL(move-grow-learn)운동교육프로그램 적용하여 정신지체아동들의 동작모방능력과 균형능력에 미치는 효과를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구를 통하여 선행연구들을 검토하고, 특수교육 및 특수체육전문가들과의 논의를 통해 운동교육 프로그램을 재구성하였으며, B광역시에 소재한 복지관과 일반학교에 재학 중인 정신지체아동들을 단순무선표집의 방법으로 실험집단 10명, 통제집단 10명으로 구분하여 프로그램을 적용하였다. 프로그램 실시 후, 동작모방능력과 균형능력을 측정하였으며 연구의 결과는 운동교육 프로그램을 실시한 집단의 동작모방능력과 균형능력에서 유의미한 효과가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 정신지체아동에게 있어 그들의 여가와 삶의 질을 촉진시킬 수 있는 효과적인 운동교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 있어 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

        The Effect of Combined Treatment of Chiropractic and Shoulder Flexibility Exercises on the Balance Ability of the Deformed Cervical Alignment Subjects

        [OBJECTIVES] The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of changes in cervical alignment on balance ability, to correct cervical alignment, and to present effective interventional variables that can improve balance ability. [METHODS] Group 1 (Deformed cervical alignment group, n = 16) and Group 2 (Normal cervical alignment group, n = 16). The subjects measured their balance ability before and after treatment with chiropractic and shoulder flexibility exercises. Balance ability was measured by static balance and dynamic balance. For Group 1, chiropractic was treated once a week for 15 minutes, and shoulder flexibility exercise was treated three times a week for one hour. The pre- and post-measurement results of Group 1 were compared with Group 2, and differences among groups and groups were analyzed. The test method was tested with the Independent t-test and Paired t-test. [RESULTS] Group 1 showed a significant reduction (p<0.04) in the distance between the 7th cervical spine and gravity line, showing an improvement in cervical alignment. In the static equilibrium, the significant difference that was measured beforehand disappeared and the sum of deflection decreased. The dynamic balance did not disappear significantly but the balance ability improved as the sum of deflection decreased. [CONCLUSIONS] The cervical alignment deformation affects the balance ability. A combination of cervical alignment correction and exercise to increase the flexibility of the shoulder and neck muscles were performed. As a result, it was a factor in improving the static balance and dynamic balance ability of the left and right sides of the cervical spine.

        성인 뇌성마비 장애인의 운동장애분류가 하지근력 및 균형능력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to measure the lower extremity muscle strength and balance ability of adults with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and to analyze the effects and characteristics of the classification of exercise disorder on the lower extremity muscle strength and balance ability which provides basic data for developing exercise programs that can effectively improve strength and balance. Total of 15 CP who could walk without assistive devices were recruited, but only the 11 CP who were suitable for this study were measured. Their lower extremity muscle strength (knee and hip joint) and static balance ability were measured to analyze the effect on classification by motor disorder. As a result, there was no significant difference in lower extremity muscle strength (knee and hip joint) between the Spastic group and Athetoid group, and there was no significant difference between the two groups in static balance ability. In addition, there were no significant differences in muscle strength (knee and hip joint) and static balance ability between the other two groups; Monoplegia and Hemiplegia, classified by the paralytic region. In conclusion, the classification of motor disorders and paralysis status did not show significant difference in muscle strength and static balance ability in walking-type adult CP. It is thought that the internal kinematic problems such as abnormal muscle tension, abnormal reflexes, and abnormal exercise patterns of CP have a greater influence than the externally recognized exercise ability of lower extremity muscle strength and static ability. Therefore, further research is needed to develop an exercise program suitable for each CP status by investigating and analyzing the relationship between classification by exercise disorder and external athletic ability by increasing the number of subjects for CP with inability to walk.

        기능성 보행운동이 만성관절염 여성노인 환자의 균형능력 및 보행능력에 미치는 영향: 기능성 밸런스 보행 킷의 개발과 적용 연구

        PURPOSE: This study aimed to provide fundamental data contributing to balance ability and gait ability in elderly with chronic arthritis by functional gait exercise on balance ability and gait ability. METHODS: Twenty voluntary subjects (10 exercise, 10 non-exercise) with an understanding toward the aims of this study were selected and their balance ability and gait ability, before and after the functional gait exercise, were measured. RESULTS: As for the balance ability, there were significant differences between pre- and post-values in the exercise group after completing the functional gait exercise program. Meanwhile, in the aspect of comparisons between post-values in both groups, there were significant improvements in up (U), down (D), right (R), left (L) rate of the exercise group. As for the gait ability, there were significant differences between pre- and post-values in the exercise group after completing the functional gait exercise program. In the aspect of comparisons between post-values in both groups, there were significant improvements in only the exercise group. CONCLUSIONS: The study results indicate that the functional gait exercise program is effective in improving the balance ability and gait ability of elderly with chronic arthritis.
