      • 판재위에 배치된 2차원 형상들의 최적 잘던 경로에 관한 연구

        There are many methods for cutting out 2D shapes arranged on the plane. For increasing productivity, it is very important to select proper cutting path. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for optimizing cutting path among the 2D shapes. The algorithm uses minimum distance information between some pairs of neighboring 2D shapes and represents the arranged shapes as a weighted graph. Then, we can get the optimal cutting path by constructing minimum spanning tree from the weighted graph. 2차원 평면의 판재 위에 배치되어 있는 형상들을 절단하기 위한 방법은 여러 가지가 있고, 적절한 절단 경로의 선택은 생산성을 높이는데 아주 중요한 요소이다. 본 논문에서는, 형상들의 절단 경로를 최적화 하는 알고리즘을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 알고리즘은 이웃하는 형상들 간의 최소 거리 정보를 이용하여, 배치된 형상들을 가중치 그래프(weighted graph)로 나타낸다. 형상들 사이의 최적 잘단 경로는 주어진 가중치 그래프에서 최소 스패닝 트리(minimum spanning tree)를 추출하여 구하게 된다.

        Three dimensional finite element model of human femoral head is generated based upon DICOM file which is standard medical image file. Connectivity and Jacobian ratio are checked to input the generated data to commercial finite element software. Eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenvectors are evaluated through free vibration analysis. Free vibration characteristics of femoral head are expected to be utilized a fundamental data to develope and design artificial femurs.

        The colorectal corcinoma is one of the most common malignant tumor in Korea and its carcinogenic mechanism has not been elucidated exactly yet. So far, the most common carcinogenic mechanism has been known to be multiple genetic changes. But, the CpG island hypermethylation has been revealed to be one of the most important carcinogenic mechanism second to the genetic changes. The epigenetic changes characteristically imprint and transfer to the next generation without changes of nucleotide sequences. When the CpG island of promoter or 5'- exon 1 of a specific gene is methylated by DNA methyltrasferases (DNMTs), the gene expression is inhibited. Carcinogenic mechansisms by promoter methylation has been well known, but the progression of the cancer has not been elucidated yet. The molecular researches on the carcinogenic mechanisms largely depended on the tumor tissue containing various components of cell, due to difficulties in harvesting pure homogeneous tumor cells. Promoter methylatonof the cancer related genes as APc, hMLH2, p16, DAP-K and MGMT in 50 cases of sporadic colorectal carcinoma was studied. The pure normal colorectal epithelial cells, and cancer cells from superficial and deep invasive portion were harvested respectively by laser captured microdissection(LCM), and DNA was extracted from them. The promoter methylation was studied by methylation specific poymerase reaction (MSP) after bisulfite modification of the DNA and the expression of the genes by immunohistochemistry. The results suggests that promoter methylation of the cancer related genes are closely related with the colorectal carcinogenesis and it occurrs from early phase of carcinogenesis, progressing constantly to the late stage. And the promoter methylation of normal epithelial cells increased by age. The p15, known to be the genes related to hematologic malignancy, was closely related to the colorectal carcinoma as well.

        조팝나무 揷木時期 및 揷床土의 種類가 發根에 미치는 影響

        Cutting experiment was conducted to develop a mass propagation method for Spiraea prunifolia var. simpliciflora Nakai. The optimum season for hardwood cutting was between December and early April, but cutting could be done year-round by using rhizome. NAA treatment (100 ppm) was the most effective as rooting promoter. IBA and IAA were also found to be effective. The effect of sand, red clay, loam, silty loam and vermiculite had little differences in rooting especially when cuttings were done earlier than April 5.

        In this paper, the foaming method of polymer concrete was studied. The pre-composition of polymer concrete consisted of unsaturated polyester as a binder material 15∼50wt%, sand 0∼80 wt%, filler 5-50 wt%, and foaming agent 0.1∼1.5 wt%. The pre-composition was heated at 100∼200℃ for 30∼120 minutes, which thermal treatment caused hardening of unsaturated polyester and cracking of foaming agent. The foamed polymer concrete showed low thermal transfer coefficent together with good mechanical properties.

        Local structure and lattice covalency of complex perovskites BaM<sub>0.2</sub>Ta<sub>0.8</sub>O<sub>3−<i>x</i> </sub>N<sub> <i>x</i> </sub> (M = Li, Na, Mg) studied by X-ray diffraction and X-ray absorption spectroscopy

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Local structural aspects of complex perovskites BaM<SUB>0.2</SUB>Ta<SUB>0.8</SUB>O<SUB>3−<I>x</I> </SUB>N<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB> (M = Li, Na, Mg) were studied by the extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) and X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) spectroscopies at the Ta <I>L</I> <SUB>3</SUB>-edge, and also by the diffraction line broadening analysis of high-resolution synchrotron X-ray diffraction (XRD) data. The line broadening analysis based on the Williamson-Hall method indicated that the lattice periodicity of BaM<SUB>0.2</SUB>Ta<SUB>0.8</SUB>O<SUB>3−<I>x</I> </SUB>N<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB> are disturbed remarkably, with a dependence on the size mismatch between M<SUP>+</SUP> <SUP>/</SUP> <SUP>2+</SUP> and Ta<SUP>5+</SUP>. The Ta <I>L</I> <SUB>3</SUB>-edge EXAFS revealed that part of the Ta−O/N bonds are contracted by the existence of the large alkali cation on the shared octahedral site.         <P>The fabrication of layered nanomaterials, such as inorganic-inorganic, organic-inorganic, and bioinorganic nanohybrids has been demonstrated through controlled lattice engineering techniques including intercalation, exfoliation-reassembling, and pillaring reactions. Such a lattice engineering method gives rise to an almost unlimited set of new hybrid compounds with a large spectrum of desirable properties. Due to the unique two-dimensional structures and properties, various kinds of functional nanohybrid materials can be utilized as photocatalysts, electrode materials, superconducting thin films, gas separation membranes, drug-delivery systems, and biomolecule reservoirs.</P>

        Effects of Individual Education Using a Treating-to-target Strategy in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis

        Objective. To examine effects of an individual education program using the treating rheumatoid arthritis to target (RA T2T) strategy in patients with moderate-severe rheumatoid arthritis. Methods. Patients were assigned randomly to an educational intervention (n=33) or conventional care group (n=33). The intervention was a nurse-delivered 9-month educational program consisting of 3 monthly sessions and monthly telephone counseling. The assessments occurred at the baseline and every 3 months in both groups, but only the intervention group completed the 9-month education follow-up. The outcome variables included the disease activity (DAS28), functional disability (KHAQ), fatigue (FACIT-Fatigue), and quality of life (SF-36). Repeated measures ANOVA and a Bonferroni multiple comparison were used to evaluate the outcome variables comparing the groups and follow-up times. Results. Significant interactions were observed between the groups and follow-up times in the disease activity (p=0.041), fatigue (p=0.042), and physical (p=0.006) and mental (p=0.031) health-related quality of life, but there was no significant interaction in the functional disability (p=0.110). Significant differences were noted between the groups at the 9-month period (p=0.048) in disease activity and fatigue, and at the 6-month (p=0.023) and 9-month periods (p=0.027) in the physical health-related quality of life. Conclusion. This education program using the RA T2T strategy had significant benefits on the disease activity, fatigue, and quality of life in patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, and the results suggested that this contributed to positive clinical outcomes as a good practical nursing intervention.         <P>Two negatively charged species of silica nanoparticles and exfoliated clay nanosheets have been successfully assembled into highly porous frameworks through a direct hybridization reaction with the help of a surface modification technique. In order to create attractive Coulombic interaction between two components, the surface of silica was modified with positively chargeable aminosilane coupling agents. Without any additional post-calcination, as-prepared hybrid materials are highly porous with the BET specific surface area of 480 m2/g.</P>
