TERUDERMIS를 이용한 골 혹은 건이 노출된 창상의 치료

Deep skin and soft tissue defects with exposed bone and tendon is difficult to treat, because skin graft rarely survives and flap surgery is sacrifice of donor site. Since "Stage I" membrane was developed by Yannas and Bruke in 1980, numerous kinds of artificial skin have been developed. The adaptability of "Terudermis", developed by the Terumo Co., as an artificial skin composed of sponge made of a fibrillar atelocollagen and a heat-denatured atelocollagen, was clinically evaluated on application to 13 cases presenting deep skin and soft tissue defect with exposed bones and tendons from October 1997 to march 1998. Terudermis has the advantage of allowing early incorporation of fibroblasts and capillaries into its collagen sponge due to very weak dehydrothermal cross-linking. Before Terudermis graft, several days of wet dressing and debridement were required to prepare healthy well- vascularized bed because Terudermis was weak on unsanitary wounds. After bed preparation, Terudermis was grafted like usual skin graft. Tie-over bolster dressing or compressive dressing was used case by case. The dressing was opened 2~3 days after Terudermis grafting. Wet dressing was done daily until the skin graft was done. Autologous skin graft was done 2∼3 weeks after Terudermis graft. Our clinical results indicated that Terudermis was beneficial in treating 77% of our patients. Through the use of this new method, treatment of severe skin and soft tissue defects that are usually treated by musculocutaneous or other conventional skin flaps can be replaced by Terudermis as an new artificial dermis.

The three-phase induction motor is rugged, reliable, long-lived, self-starting, smooth-running. But it is relatively inexpensive and three-phase power in not available everywhere, so if possible we need single-phase motor with the same characteristics. In fact, single-phase induction motors have excellent characteristics and outnumber the three-phase variety. Most of the small electric motors used in home, farm, or office are single-phase induction motors of one type or another. This electric motors application field need most energy saving type drive according to enlargement of electronic goods and to tend high class. The paper is proposed a various phase control methods for energy saving of single- phase induction motor. The controllers that are embodied by each method can use by various usage according to each performance and it is considered that application may help in the electrical energy saving because is possible to other electrical appliances.

Perforation of the interventricular septum is a rare but often serious complication following myocardial infarction.It usually results in progressive intractable congesitve heart failure and death.Color Doppler imaging and right side catheterization provide safe,rapid diagnosis of ventricular septal repture complicating acute myocardial infarction. We report a case of postinfarction septal repture diagnosed by color Doppler echocardiogram and cardiac catheterization with left ventriculogram. Key Words : myocardial infarction, septal perforation.

Korean Ginseng (Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer), herbaceous perennial of family member of Araliaceae, has been a main subject to elucidate its medicinal efficacy for a long time. As a result, the basis of scientific theory on the medicinal efficacy has been addressed. In the summary of the introduced book "Ginseng", the applicaiton of well-rotted horse manure can be a potential adventage for its growth. The edibility of berry also widen its potential as a good matenial for food proessing. It is highly feasible to produce beverage or pickled berry with ginseng fruits. In America, as early as 1890, optimal growth condition was determined with well-defined experiment and observatin. They reported that four to six years is long enough to keep transplanted roots in the ground. IN comparison the cultivatin of this valuable roots had been established before the time in Korea peninsula, especially in the neighborhood of Kaisong. According to old chinese trading report (1896), the price of Korean ginseng was $16.50 per pound which was nearly nine times high than the price of ginseng from America, priced at $1.86 per pound. The detemination of ginseng price did not followed the general law of supply and demand. It depends upon the color, the form and size, and its fancied resemblance to the human body. In Korea the cultivated ginseng is smaller than wild type or sansam(mountain sinseng) in length and diameter. The medicinal efficacy of samsam is belived to involve many physical rejuvenation such as improvement of physical strength and recovery from sleeplessness and many diseases. All these cure seems to come from improved immune system. That is why many people call ginseng as a miraculous elixir.

This is a case report of the orthognathic surgery improved true mandibular prognathism by sagittal split ramus osteotomy with intraoral approach. The sagittal split ramus osteotomy was made on the lingual and buccal aspects and was then connected along the anterior border of the ascending ramus. After the mandible was displaced to the backward direction, direct bone wiring near the anterior border of ascending ramus was applied for stabilization. For preventing the postoperative swelling & hematoma, hemovac was inserted. There were no severe complications except postoperative swelling and edema for 2 days. Intermaxillary fixation was maintained for 8 weeks and postoperative orthodontic treatment was performed for 3 months.

In Okdong coal mine abandoned area, every year large amount of mine wastes have been swept away due to heavy rains in summer. Because pH of coal-mine waste is in the early 4, plant naturally does not grow there due to unfavorable condition for growing plant. This study had an experiment to grow plant for 6 months using Mycorrhizae which can be adapted well in acid soil. As a result of Experiment, In the infected experiment pot, 90% of the plants survived but in case of uninfected experiment pot, only 25% were alive. From Growth Experiment, it appeared that average stem length increase (cm/month), average fresh weight increase (gfw/month), average dry weight increase (gdw/month) were increased by 60%, 21%, 31% respectively. Especially, Mycorrhizae plays an important role in providing nutrients and water when seeding are established. Mycorrhizae prevents death caused by lack of nutrients and water and helps growth and development of plant when seeding are established in the early stage. This study proved that Mycorrhizae is comparatively effective in plant growth and prevention of erosion in coal-mine abandoned area.

In the Baking process during photolithography, a temperature change of wafer on each bake unit induces CD(Critical Dimension) variation and reduces productivity. Thus, maintaining the wafer at a desired temperature, for a desired period of time, may enable uniformity in photo resist hardening and increase the quality of the underlying integrated circuit being manufactured. Also in baking apparatus, purges N₂ and thereby creates air stream a baking chamber while ventilating an internal atmosphere, so that a contaminant, such as a solvent evaporated from the substrate, which contaminates the substrate. In the present research, we have performed thermal and fluid flow analysis in the bake chamber. Computational simulation has been used to understand the effect of purging gas flow pattern on the temperature distributions of wafer and particle behavior. As a result of this, we understand the problems of present bake chamber and propose new design for bake cover to improve the temperature uniformity of wafer and reduce the particle contamination problems.
