The purpose of the article is to examine the probability of trading the Corn Futures. The research methods include the field survey and the econometric analysis, called Probit analysis, based on the survey data.. The result of probit analysis show that the wider a risk ratio is, the lower is the probability of the participation in the futures market. And the more knowledge, the more interest and the more affirmative thinking is, the higher is the probability of the participation. Also the increase of the purchasing frequency and a ratio of trade volume on the futures market raise the probability of the participation.

For the control of building to external dynamic forces created by the wind or earthquake, many structural control method has been studied. Among those, a closed-loop feedback control algorithm is proposed for the control of a building using an active tuned mass damper. The passive-control device properties, including the stiffness and damping constants of the tuned mass damper and the gain coefficients of actuator, are derived by minimizing the displacement variance of the building. The results show that the control efficiency of the ATMD based on the velocity feedback depends on the passive-control-device properties assumed. Also, the ATMD with optimal passive properties using complete feedback results in further reduction in the structural displacement, the control force required is smaller using complete feedback.

To evaluate the differences of benzidine exposure patterns of the workers in two benzidine-based dye manufacturing factories, the concentration of benzidine in air, blood and urine were measured. The air levels of benzidine dihydrochloride and benzidine-based dye were measured by high performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detector. Blood samples were collected at 3 hours after exposure and urine samples were collected at the end of shift. Blood and urine samples were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detector. The level of benzidine in reaction process (input, diazotization, and coupling) was 0.381±7950g/㎥. The blood benzidine was deteced in 25 workers among 38 in reaction process and their mean levels were 0.0153±.0376 ng/mg Hb. The urinary benzidine was detected for 11 workers among 38 workers in the reaction process. The level of benzidine-based dye in drying and packing process was 52.1748±14.4111g/㎥. The blood benzidine was deteced in 6 workers among 38 in drying and packing process and their mean levels was 0.0062±.0274 ng/mg Hb. The urinary benzidine was detected for 1 worker among 38 workers exposed to benzidine-based dye. The blood and urinary benzidine were detected in workers exposed to benzidine-based dye. Such results suggested that some part of benzidine-based dye was metaboized to benzidine. Therefore, some regulations for manufacturing and use of the benzidine-based dye are needed to prevent its hazards in industries.
주파수 선택성 다중경로 페이딩 채널에서 Near/Far 영향을 받는 Multi-Carrier CDMA Trellis Coded 16 QAM 시스템의 성능 해석

본 논문에서는 주파수 선택성 다중경로 페이딩과 Near/Far 영향을 받는 Multi-Carrier CDMA 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다. 성능 분석을 위해 사용한 파라미터들은 Multi-Carrier의 수, 다중사용자의 수, RAKE 수신기의 가지수, 주파수 선택성 다중경로 페이딩의 감쇄지수, 그리고 CDMA 다중사용자의 분포와 세기이다. Multi-Carrier CDMA 시스템에서 Near/Far 영향을 분석하기 위하여 3가지의 간섭 분포 모델을 설정하였다. 첫 번째 모델은 다중사용자가 간섭과 대 반송파 비인 I/C를 -4 dB에서 4dB 사이에서 2dB씩의 차이를 가지며 20%씩 균일하게 분포하는 경우이다. 두 번째 모델은 다중사용자가 I/C 비를 -2 dB에서 2 dB 사잉에서 2 dB씩의 차이를 가지며 33.3%씩 균일하게 분포하는 경우이다. 그리고 세 번째 모델은 모든 다중사용자가 I/C가 0 dB로 신호 전력과 간섭 전력이 동일하게 분포하며 전력이 완전하게 제어된 경우이다. 그리고 본 논문에서는 주파수 선택성 다중경로 페이딩의 영향을 감소시키기 위하여 RAKE 수신기를 채용한 Multi-Carrier CDMA 시스템을 제안하였다. 이 시스템에서는 제시한 3가지의 간섭 분포 모델중에서 세 번째 모델(완전 전력제어가 된 경우)이 가장 좋은 성능을 나타내었고, 간섭파의 전력과 신호파의 전력차이가 적을수록 희망 신호에 영향을 주는 간섭 신호의 전력량이 적어서 Multi-Carrier CDMA 시스템의 성능이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. The performance of a multi-carrier CDMA system is analyzed considering frequency selective multipath fading and Near/Far effects. The number of multicarrier, multiuser, and arms of RAKE receiver, and the decay ratio of frequency selective multipath fading are used as a parameter for the performance analysis. Moreover, the distribution and the strength of multiuser interference are also considered. To evaluate the Near/Far effects in a multi-carrier CDMA system, three distribution models are assumed. In the first model, Interference to Carrier Ratio, I/C, ranges from -4 dB to 4dB, and at each 2 dB interval, 20% of multiuser is assumed to be uniformly distributed. In the second one, I/C ranges from -2 dB to 2dB, and 33.3% of multiuser is assumed to be equally dispersed at each 2dB interval. The third model is 0 dB of I/c, that is, with perfect power control, multiuser are assumed to be evenly located. In this paper, multi-carrier CDMA system adopting RAKE receiver is proposed to mitigate the frequency selective multipath fading. From the results, the third model(i.e. perfect power control) shows the best perfomance, and the narrower range of I/C causes the less effects to the desired signal, which reads to the better performance.
공간구문론을 이용한 루이스 칸 건축의 공간구조 분석에 관한 연구

This study is the quantitative analysis which doesn't only focus on Kahn's statement but also the architectural space itself. The purpose of this study is to understand Kahn's architecture with an actual proof with the use of Space Syntax. The results of this study were as follows; Firstly, in the spatial configuration like concentric circle centering around a huge space, the characteristics are, - forming the rank of syntactic value and determining building user's flow - clarifing building user's spatial cognition - representing Kahn's architectural concept from the beginning Secondly, in the spatial configuration with centrality by putting specific spatial unit to the universal spaces without especially integrated or segregated spaces, - spatial configuration would rather be settled by Kahn's architectural concept which has priority to building's function than satisfy the functional demand following building type. Thirdly, Kahn's void space doesn't mean empty space but his point of architectural concept ; 'Room'

This experiment was carried out to study the effects of soil moisture, fertilization and topping depth on horizontal variation of leaf angle in tobacco plants Variation of leaf angle wart larger during before topping than after, and it was larger at the position of leaf tip in contrast with leaf base during after topping. In the case of additional fertilization deeper topping caused large variation of leaf angle. and the effect of interaction was showed between soil moisture and fertilization. Phyllotaxis in the stage of harvesting was showed remarkable difference compared with that of typical flue-cured tobacco. The more prosperous tobacco growing was, the larger variation of leaf angle was.

Worldwide energy consumption has been recently increasing enormously, especially in refrigeration and air conditioning industries. As a result of this increase, atmospheric hydrocarbon and other gas levels have increased so that they may be a source of world environmental problems. Therefore, new research was started to overcome the environmental problems, like the destruction of the ozone layer and the warming of Earth's temperature, by the use of natural refrigerants as substitutes for the freon refrigerant. In this paper, evaporation heat transfer of global heat pump using grooved inner tube was studied. New natural refrigerants R-290 and HCFC refrigerant R-22 were used. The local heat transfer coefficient was decreased according to the evaporation process. Moreover, the increment of heat transfer coefficient was found in R-290 refrigerant. Average heat transfer coefficient was obtained the higher value in R-290 refrigerant than R-22. Comparing the heat transfer coefficient between experimental result and simulation data of other's, the Shah's correlated equation was closely assimilated to the author's experimental results.
