        Open Innovation Platform-based Business Startup Incubation Model in Incheon International Airport Corporation

        More people travel oversea as the economic size of Korea is getting larger and more new jobs are requested to be created by the society. To respond to these trend and request, Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) is about to expand its processing capability with a new terminal; 54 million passengers to 72 million. IIAC is also introducing new strategies such as open innovation (OI) and creating shared value (CSV). With these changes, IIAC faces new challenges of restructuring its business and organization with new ideas. Most organizations including IIAC are becoming more dependent on external resources to keep their competitive advantages under the turbulence of global business environmental changes. Therefore, they focus on the OI paradigm which is reported as a convincing strategy to improve competitiveness in terms of budget and time-to-market. OI is to quickly react to the rapidly changing business environment and is adopted to support startup incubation. In the previous research with IIAC, three major tasks were defined; utilizing the IIAC brand power for external vendors, building a technology road-map, and introducing a collaboration support system. This paper deals with the collaboration system as proposed in the previous research. We focused on the collaboration process for startup incubation. Cases were studied; the K-startup model by the government, a university model to explore youth startups, and a R&D institute model to study professional startups. Based on the case studies, we defined an IIAC model and proposed issues to take care of. The model is distinguished from the other studied models since IIAC is a prospective customer of new technology.

        TIME/FREQUENCY ANALYSIS OF TERRESTRIAL IMPACT CRATER RECORDS

        The terrestrial impact cratering record recently has been examined in the time domain by Chang & Moon (2005). It was found that the ${\sim}26$ Myr periodicity in the impact cratering rate exists over the last ${\sim}250$ Myrs. Such a periodicity can be found regardless of the lower limit of the diameter up to D ${\sim}35km$. It immediately called pros and cons. The aim of this paper is two-fold: (1) to test if reported periodicities can be obtained with an independent method, (2) to see, as attempted earlier, if the phase is modulated. To achieve these goals we employ the time/frequency analysis and for the first time apply this method to the terrestrial impact cratering records. We have confirmed that without exceptions noticeable peaks appear around ${\sim}25$ Myr, corresponding to a frequency of ${\sim}0.04(Myr)^{-1}$. We also find periodicities in the data base including small impact craters, which are longer. Though the time/frequency analysis allows us to observe directly phase variations, we cannot find any indications of such changes. Instead, modes display slow variations of power in time. The time/frequency analysis shows a nonstationary behavior of the modes. The power can grow from just above the noise level and then decrease back to its initial level in a time of order of 10 Myrs.

        Structural Alterations in the Gill of the Red Sea Bream, Pagrus major, Exposed to the Harmful Dinoflagellate Cochlodinium polykrikoides

        The effects of Cochlodinium polykrikoides on the gill of red sea bream, Pagrus major, were examined to clarify the ichthyotoxic mechanisms of this plankton species. The gill of fish exposed to dense blooms over 3,000 cells/mL for 24 h showed severe epithelial separation: a severe edema was found in the secondary lamellar epithelium and interlamellar regions of primary filament. In addition, lipid peroxidation of gill tissue in Chchlodinium-exposed fish was about 2.5 times higher than that of control. The composition of glycoproteins in the gill mucus of Cochlodinium-exposed fish was also changed. These results suggest that the loss of structural integrity of cell membrances in fish gill may be deeply involved in fish death by C. polykrikoides.

        인천공항공사 개방형 혁신 도입방안에 관한 연구

        Recently, companies and organizations are becoming increasingly dependent on external resources to keep their competitive advantages under the turbulence of global business environmental changes. Therefore, they focus on the paradigm 'Open Innovation (OI)' which is reported as a convincing strategy to improve competitive advantage in terms of budget and time-to-market. The management of Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) also considers the introduction of Open Innovation not only to adapt the business environmental changes but also to be devoted its social role as a public corporation. In this paper, we describe how we derived the promotion tasks for the introduction of OI and prioritized the tasks, performing our research on the IIAC Open Innovation. For these purposes, this research conducted the following three steps; the first stage for the analysis of current situation on the IIAC Open Innovation, the second stage for the elicitation of promotion tasks, and the last stage for the prioritization of the promotion tasks. In the first stage, critical success factors (CSFs) for open innovation introduction were derived from different research papers and case studies. In the following stage, promotion tasks were elicited from the IIAC based on the CSFs. In the last stage, the promotion tasks were evaluated on the base of criteria by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). And then the promotion tasks were grouped by the result of the evaluation. In this case, thirteen promotion tasks were derived for open innovation, ten promotion tasks except three inevitable promotion tasks were evaluated, and then they were grouped into four categories based on the importance-possibility analysis.

        만성 췌장염의 합병증으로 생긴 가성동맥류는 드문질환으로, 반복적으로 다량의 출혈을 일으킬 수 있으며, 치료를 하지 않을 경우 사망율이 높기 때문에, 조기 진단과 치료가 필수적이다. 저자들은 38세 남자 환자에서 췌장염의 합병증으로 생긴 가성낭종내에서 발생한 가성동맥류 1예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. 가성 동맥류의 색혈류도플러상 낭종내에 양방향 흐름의 와류를 볼 수 있었다. Because of high morbidity and mortality, early detection and treatment of the pseudoaneurysm is needed. We report a case of pseudoaneurysm within pseudocyst from pancreatitis. Color-flow Doppler sonography shows bidirectional flow and turbulent arterial flow, within anechoic mass.

        Midazolam의 경비투여와 경구투여 시 진정효과에 대한 비교연구

        Midazolam은 현재 치과에서 널리 사용되고 있는 의식하 진정용 약물이다. 그러나 주로 경비투여로 사용될 뿐 경구투여 특히 소아에서 경구투여에 대한지침이 없어 본 연구를 통해 midazolam의 경구투여 시 진정효과에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 전신상태가 양호하며 2회 이상의 치료가 필요한 남아 15명, 여아 13명, 총 28명의 환아를 대상으로 midazolam (Dormicum??, Roche)을 경비투여(0.2mg/kg)와 경구투여 (0.5mg/kg)하여 치과치료를 시행한 후 치료과정을 6단계로 구분하여 각 단계별로 수면지수와 울음지수, 움직임지수, 전반적인 행동지수를 측정, 비교하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전체 치료과정동안 수면지수와 울음지수, 움직임지수, 전반적인 행동지수 비교 시 Ⅰ군 (경비투여)과 Ⅱ군(경구투여) 사이에 유의한 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 2. 보호자 설문조사 결과 Ⅰ군에서는 67.8%의 보호자가 투여 시 아이가 고통스러워한다고 답하였으며 Ⅱ군에서는 17.8%의 보호자가 투여에 어려움이 있다고 답하였다. 3. 귀가 후 행동양상에 대한 질문에서 '평상시와 비슷하다'가 Ⅰ군에서는 78.6%, Ⅱ군에서는 57.1%로 경비투여 시 더 빠른 회복을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 위와 같은 결과를 종합하여 볼 때 midazolam의 경구투여는 경비투여와 유사한 적절한 진정효과를 가지면서 환자에게 더 잘 받아들여지는 투여방법으로 생각된다. The purpose of present study was to compare the sedative effect of intranasal and oral midazolam treatment. The study was conducted on twenty eight child patients who required at least two visits. All the patients showed a good physical status (ASA-I). The patient was randomly assigned to receive midazolam either intranasal (Group Ⅰ, 0.25 mg/kg) or oral (Group Ⅱ, 0.5mg/kg) route at each visit. Treatment procedure was divided into six stages. In each stage, sleep score, crying score, movement score and overall behavior score were evaluated. The overall results can be summarized as follows: 1. Through all treatment procedures, no significant difference was observed between Group Ⅰ and Group Ⅱ in terms of sleep, crying, movement and overall behavior index. 2. In a questionnaire to the parents, 67.8% of parents answered that the child suffered at intranasal administration, while only 17.7% of parents responded the same way at oral administration. 3. In a questionnaire regarding patients' behavior at home after midazolam treatment, 'Similar to normal behavior was 78.6% in Group Ⅰ and 57.1% in Group Ⅱ, indicating that intranasal treatment of midazolam may be more effective for the recovery.

      • OFDM 시스템의 PAPR 저감을 위한 심벌 그룹핑 SLM 기법

        본 논문은 OFDM 시스템에서 PAPR (peak-to-average power ratio) 문제를 효과적으로 저감시키기 위하여 기존 SLM (selective mapping) 기법과는 달리 심벌 그룹핑 후 그룹별로 같은 스크램블 코드를 이용하는 새로운 방법을 제안하고 성능을 분석하였다. 기존의 SLM 기법은 IFFT단에 들어가는 OFDM 심벌을 여러 개의 스크램블 코드에 의해 랜덤화 시켜 PAPR 중 작은 값을 선택하여 전송한다. 그러므로 SLM 기법은 스크램블 코드만큼 부가 정보를 전송함으로 대역의 손실이 발생한다. 그러나 제안된 심벌 그룹핑 SLM 기법은 부반송파들을 M 개로 그룹화 하여 동일한 스크램블 코드를 사용함으로써 그룹화한 OFDM 심벌의 개수만큼 부가정보 데이터를 줄일 수 있고, SLM 기법에서 사용한 숫자만큼 스크램블 코드를 사용한다면 기존의 SLM 기법보다 PAPR 성능을 더 개선할수 있다. In this paper, we propose and analyze a new scheme which uses the same scramble codes to each group after symbol grouping to reduce the PAPR (peak-to-average power ratio) problem in OFDM system. The conventional SLM scheme randomizes OFDM symbols entered into IFFT block by several scramble codes and then transmits the lowest one among PAPRs. Therefore, the SLM scheme results the loss of bandwidth because of transmitting additional information as many as scramble codes. The proposed scheme can reduce the additional information as many as the number of grouped OFDM symbols by using same scramble codes after M grouping of sub-carriers. It can also improve PAPR performance more than conventional SLM scheme when we use scramble codes as same as those numbers of SLM scheme.
